Club 1453 in Datteln

We ordered from here for four people via Lieferando. The food took over an hour to arrive. The delivery person demanded more money than the Lieferando quoted, and we didn't receive an invoice, supposedly for extra cheese. This has never happened to me before; what a disgrace. The burger and pizza were quite good, the lasagna was okay but tasted of nothing. The currywurst was unfortunately the worst I've ever eaten. The sauce was just water, tasted of nothing, it looked like gravy, dark brown, the sausage was cold, and the fries were neither salted nor cooked through. Will never order from here again

We have often pre-ordered our chicken kebab there and picked it up afterwards. I have always received nice and friendly service. Food is very tasty. Recommended.

Classic German dishes in this traditional Datteln restaurant with a lovely beer garden. A nice Benedictine beer on tap is perfect after a bike ride through the Hardt valley. A young owner of the family business, and "our" Mr. Mencke, a loyal service partner. We'd love to come back, and please also try the homemade sheet cake!

Perfect location for a wedding reception! We celebrated our wedding there on August 29, 2025, with around 60 guests and had a perfect evening. The service was excellent, and the communication was very friendly and pleasant. All guests were particularly impressed by the food and the friendly service. The band had plenty of space and was able to entertain our guests musically. All in all, highly recommended.
