We went there for a Christmas meal with our family (11 people). We had called beforehand to discuss vegan and vegetarian options. We were assured that something would be prepared individually on-site. For the vegetarians, there was a Camembert salad, which was very meager for a "main course." The vegan option was the so-called "vegetable plate with boiled potatoes," which consisted of only three small potatoes, a few pieces of broccoli and cauliflower, and a small portion of carrots. It's perfectly understandable that there were no meat substitutes; that was clear from the start. But to then serve such a meager "main course" plate, which wasn't even nicely presented, was unacceptable. In general, the other portions weren't particularly large either, especially considering the price. Very disappointing.

We spontaneously decided to eat at Remo's for the first time today and were pleasantly surprised. We received a very friendly welcome upon entering, and the service was attentive and pleasantly quick. The food was fresh, delicious, and of excellent quality. The truly fair and affordable prices, which are no longer a given these days, deserve special mention. Overall, it was a thoroughly enjoyable visit with a great atmosphere. We felt very comfortable and will definitely be back!

It's okay, but it's gone downhill. The previous owner used to skewer the doner kebab himself and bake the bread himself. The current owner, unfortunately, relies on generic, mass-produced products. There's also no red cabbage in the salad bar, and cheese costs a hefty 50 cents extra, making the doner kebab one of the most expensive in Datteln. Hygiene-wise, the place leaves much to be desired. The menu board above the work surface is filthy and greasy. Taste-wise, Mobi Dick isn't anything special, but at least the service is always friendly...
