Hatten cordon bleu und Spagetti Napoli. Essen kam schnell und schmeckte sehr gut. Auch Änderungen wurden schnell übernommen. Ein Besuch ist nur zu empfehlen.

Das Restaurant ist absolut top! Das Personal war durchweg freundlich und aufmerksam, die Lage wunderschön und das Essen hervorragend: frisch, lecker und ansprechend angerichtet. Preis-Leistung stimmt hier komplett. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder, klare Empfehlung!

Ein absoluter Geheimtipp in Friedrichshafen! Wir haben uns hier von der ersten Sekunde an pudelwohl gefühlt. Ein riesiges Dankeschön geht an Monika von der Bedienung – sie war unglaublich freundlich, herzlich und aufmerksam, was den Aufenthalt perfekt abgerundet hat. ​Das Essen war fantastisch: Die Maultaschen hatten echte Metzgermeister-Qualität, frisch und geschmacklich auf allerhöchstem Niveau! ​Besonders charmant ist auch das historische Ambiente mit dem Bezug zum ehemaligen Pfarrhaus. Man spürt die besondere Geschichte dieses Ortes förmlich. Da bekommt der Begriff „himmlischer Genuss“ gleich eine ganz andere Bedeutung – fast so, als hätte der Pfarrer hier von oben ein gutes Wort für die Küche eingelegt und Gott seine schützende Hand über diesen wunderbaren Ort gehalten. 😉 ​Wir kommen definitiv wieder! Absolute Empfehlung!

Schöne Lage. Essen lecker. Wir haben Jäger und Paprikaschnitzel gegessen, sehr lecker. Viele andere Gästen bestellten Burger, welche auch sehr lecker aussahen. Schneller Service trotz vielen Leuten. Alles zusammen sehr guter Eindruck und Gutes Essen. Einziger „Kritikpunkt“ etwas teuer, aber liegt denke ich auch an der Lage.

Im Urlaub 3 Mal im Spitalkeller gegessen. Alles hat ausgezeichnet geschmeckt, selbst die Seniorenportionen sind mehr als üppig. Der Service gut, schnell und sehr aufmerksam. Beim zweiten Mal wurden wir schon wie Stammgäste empfangen, ausgesprochen herzlich. Jederzeit wieder, wenn wir in der Gegend sind.

Wir waren heute hier essen und werden definitiv wieder kommen. Die Bedienungen sind flott, freundlich und aufmerksam. Auch das Essen war für den Preis top. Besser als manch andere auf dee Promenade hier

Sehr aufmerksamer und freundlicher Service, leckeres Essen, innen und außen sehr schön und gemütlich. Hier merkt man sofort: der Chef und sein Team können Gastronomie und haben auch Freude an ihrer Arbeit. Es gibt auch kleinere Portionen, die genauso satt machen, und dann bleibt im Bauch und Portemonnaie vielleicht noch Platz für eine leckere Nachspeise oder ein (zweites) Glas Wein. Auch die Weinkarte ist sehr in Ordnung. Uns hat es bei unseren beiden Besuchen sehr gut gefallen!

Wir waren rundum begeistert! Schon beim Betreten wurden wir sehr freundlich empfangen und während des gesamten Besuchs aufmerksam und herzlich bedient. Man merkt sofort, dass hier großer Wert auf Gastfreundschaft gelegt wird. Das Essen war einfach top – frisch, geschmackvoll und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Besonders hervorzuheben sind die riesigen Portionen, die wirklich mehr als fair sind. Trotz der großzügigen Mengen stimmt auch die Qualität absolut. Die Preise sind dafür erstaunlich moderat, was heutzutage leider nicht mehr selbstverständlich ist. Die Atmosphäre war angenehm und gemütlich, sodass man sich direkt wohlfühlt und gerne länger sitzen bleibt. Insgesamt ein echter Geheimtipp, den man unbedingt ausprobieren sollte. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und können dieses Restaurant mit bestem Gewissen weiterempfehlen!

Sehr Nette empfang! Bestelt haben wir Jäger schnitzel.. nach ca 2 min in der Küche hören wir baam baam baam das heist , der schnitzel wird frisch geklopft!! Das ist schon mall gute Zeichen!😎💣👌Getränke haben wir sofort nach der Bestellung bekommen !💪#Stark Passt alles !!!

Ein toller Ort um mit Freunden oder der Familie zusammen zu sitzen. Mega tolle Aufsicht auf den Bodensee. Und übrigens. Der bester Wurstsalat der Stadt.

Super gemütliches Lokal mit einem tollen Außenbereich mit Sicht auf den Bodensee sehr freundlichem Personal und einem sehr aufmerksamen und freundlichem Restaurant Pächter sehr guter Beilagensalat geschmacklich und Preislich absolut Klasse Essen tollen Weinen und gut gekühltem Bier zwei super Abende verbracht einfach zum Empfehlen 👍

Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Hatten spontan einen schönen Platz im freien am See, die Bedienung war sehr freundlich, das Essen kam schnell und war auch sehr gut. Besonders hervorzuheben, das Essen für die Kinder war sehr günstig und auch von den Portionen gut genug. Wir waren als vierköpfige Familie bei 66€ mit Getränken. Absolut fair 😊

Hatten die Tage einen wirklich guten Abend hier! Das Personal ist extrem aufmerksam und verbreitet gute Laune. Aus dem Raucherbereich drang ein ganz leichter Geruch in den Gastraum, was durch die bauliche Trennung aber vermutlich schwer ganz zu vermeiden ist. Danke für den schönen Abend! 🙏

Wir waren heute im Spitalkeller essen und ganz ehrlich. Ich verstehe manche Rezessionen hier nicht! Ab und zu habe ich das Gefühl. Die Leute machen das mit Absicht um ein Restaurant oder sonstige einfach nur schlecht dastehen zu lassen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und entgegenkommen und das ganze noch nicht einmal aufdringlich. Das Ambiente okay, es könnte eine leichte Renovierung durchgeführt werden, aber trotzdem gemütlich! Die Portionen sind einwandfrei, der der wenig essen möchte, kann eine kleine Portion bestellen und der normal oder auch etwas mehr essen möchte. Sollte die normale Portion bestellen, hat aber daran zu knacken. Es ist sehr reichlich. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut. Ich persönlich esse sehr gern Schnitzel und bei diesem kann ich nur sagen, es kam nicht aus. Der Fritteuse war super gewürzt. Das Restaurant ist wirklich ein Besuch wert und solltet ihr eine Bewertung abgeben, bitte diese ehrlich abgeben. Und wenn wirklich mal etwas schief gegangen ist, sprech doch einfach das Personal drauf an. Wenn ihr dieses nicht macht, wird sich auch nichts ändern.

We had a very good meal, Argentine beef and roast beef with onions.

If you're looking for a sensational roast beef with caramelized onions and cheese spaetzle, this is the place to go. It's been consistently excellent for many years. The meat is cooked exactly as you order it, whether medium-rare, medium, or well-done. A Meckatzer Urweizen (a traditional wheat beer) is the perfect accompaniment. The service is always friendly and attentive. The vaulted cellar has a rustic, cozy atmosphere. A highly recommended spot for Swabian cuisine! Reservations are essential.

An interesting cellar as a restaurant. Food was great and staff were friendly. Some vegetarian options which were clearly labelled. Only downside is the bar being a smoker bar.

I wasn't very impressed with the restaurant. The service was good, and the staff was very friendly. But I didn't leave feeling full. The portion I received was very small. The food was good, but not enough to satisfy my hunger. I then drove to Meersburg and ate at another restaurant.

Giving one star to any place is hurtful but a feedback should be transparent. This restaurant has good ambience, next to the lake. If you’re a nonsmoker, you must avoid this place. There is a bar connected to the restaurant and part of its a smoker bar, every time the door opens and smokes gets in and you smell a lot of cigarettes than the food! I ate käsespätzel and got sick! First it’s didn’t tasted anything and no cheese taste either. This was such a bad evening and whole night I had issues. There were hell of bigger fruit flies, very annoying! May be they should change their doors to avoid smoke from smoking bar! One of the horrible experiences I ever had during holidays :(

Wow...it's been a long time since I've eaten out so delicious...the food was high quality, the meat was very tender...you can taste real food, excellently prepared, the portions were generous. I had the small portion of Jägerschnitzel (plain schnitzel) with creamy mushroom sauce and fried potatoes, as well as a small mixed salad with a great dressing. I couldn't quite finish it, the small portion was so large for €15.80... The staff were very accommodating and friendly, with a good atmosphere; you get the impression that they enjoy working there. We sat outside, sunny, windy, but wonderful with a great view of the lake. We would love to come back. Highly recommended!

Absolute no-go...very nice when ordering...a lot of talking...blah blah...starter...shrimp...with 3 slices of charred baguette bread, upon request...another loin of bread...no, it's only for one person. Pork loin steak not cooked...complained...spoke to 3 waiters, none of them had time...then a young waitress came...took the food...the same thing again in the pan...super dry...hardly able to eat...oh, and they forgot the fork... Conclusion: front row...great seating, but NOT food

We went out to eat there for the fourth time today. My wife and I had four different meals. What can I say, they were all excellent. I especially want to mention the super friendly service (Monika), really very nice and accommodating. Unfortunately, we're leaving tomorrow, otherwise we probably would have gone back for dinner a fifth time. Thank you very much.

Disappointing! We received warm beer in July at noon. Be careful when ordering: we requested normal portions and received large portions (which we couldn't finish, but we paid for them) so after completing the order, check if you were understood correctly. I do not recommend this location.

We were there on Saturday evening (Seehasenfest). The food and beer were great, but the friendliness was lacking. You rarely see such an unfriendly waiter in Germany. Anyway, the next day we chose a different restaurant...just because of the waiter. What a shame.

Exceptionally good food. My onion roast beef was perfectly prepared. My mother's dumplings with chanterelle mushrooms were also very good. Furthermore, the young man who served us was very friendly and, above all, attentive. The ambiance is rustic (vaulted cellar, solid wood, old but beautiful, with character). One of the best "well done" steaks I've ever eaten.

I can't recommend this place. I ordered a Wiener Schnitzel. Most of the lemons on the schnitzel were moldy and completely white. After a complaint and a brief discussion, the Wiener Schnitzel was replaced with a pork schnitzel. In the end, I paid full price for the Wiener Schnitzel and a drink. In my opinion, that's completely unfair and not customer-friendly.

We had dinner here during our vacation. In the evening, you can't get a seat in the vaulted cellar without a reservation. We ate in the beer garden the next day. It was delicious.

My boyfriend and I recently visited this restaurant and decided on the Wiener Schnitzel based on the menu's recommendation (star marks next to certain dishes). Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. Both schnitzels were significantly too thick for a classic Wiener Schnitzel, which not only negatively impacted the taste but also resulted in the meat being undercooked. The breading also crumbled when cutting them – something that shouldn't happen with a well-cooked schnitzel. We returned the schnitzels, hoping for a better-cooked version. Unfortunately, the second schnitzel was also undercooked. When we asked the waiter about it, he reacted with reserve rather than understanding. It was a real shame, because we were really looking forward to the meal based on the recommendation. For a dish that's presented as a flagship dish, this was a huge disappointment.

We ate here twice during our vacation, and the food was delicious both times. The service was super friendly, and the food and drinks were always delivered quickly. If we go on vacation to Friedrichshafen again, we'll be happy to eat there again :)

We were there for lunch, the food came pretty quickly and was okay. Don't be alarmed by the chef, he looks like Diogenes from the trash can. Personal hygiene isn't his thing, I guess. But the ambiance and service are excellent.

The asparagus wasn't cooked through, the sos holandez was lumpy and far too thick. The gravy was pure pre-made sauce. When I ordered cheese spaetzle instead of spaetzle, I was charged the full price for cheese spaetzle. The server barely understood German but tried hard. I've had much better for less money.

Great restaurant in FN. Were there yesterday on May 1st. The beautiful promenade was packed. We managed to get an outdoor seat at the restaurant in question. Despite the hectic pace and many guests, hats off to the friendly staff, whether waitress or waiter, everyone is in a great mood. The service, the food, everything was perfect. Price-performance ratio - top. The owner, Mr. Roth, can only be congratulated on this crew. One thing is for sure, we will definitely visit the place again the next time we visit FN. Very strange restaurant. We wanted to drink a good beer and the waiter told us that if we didn't eat here we couldn't stay. We should sit outside somewhere. We turned around and left, of course we will never come back but please restaurant management, pay attention to your staff. I think this is not the best version of customer communication.

Honestly, a pure disaster. We were there the day before and wanted to spend a nice evening in the hospital cellar. We were greeted very unfriendly at the door with the motto (have you booked a table)? I answer the question with no! and the person who greeted us replied with (I don't have a seat)! turned around and walked away. I left the restaurant with mixed feelings, but at my wife's insistence because she thought the reviews on Google were great, I decided to turn around and book a table for the next one. Now the disaster begins. We were warmly welcomed, shown to our table, and now the whole adventure begins! Menu has been ordered - 30 - 76 - 61 - 47 What was served was exactly what was ordered, frozen vegetables that hadn't been warmed up properly 🤦‍♂️ every bite hurt Champions from the can, quality class 1 😂 brand (good and cheap) starter salad! 3 leaves of Bionda and Rosso lettuce refined with yogurt dressing to choke down, everything else refined with Vegeta spice. Conclusion: Due to the anticipation and Google recommendation, the anticipation was great. Unfortunately, apart from the service, the restaurant cannot be recommended.

Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with my visit to the hospital cellar in Friedrichshafen. My rump steak was seared on the outside, but was raw on the inside and completely unseasoned. After I had to return it to the kitchen, it came back well-done, but far from medium. The side dishes that were originally served warm were now cold. My wife had a flatbread soup in which the pancake strips were the size of a shoe sole, as well as seemingly deep-fried but also almost raw pork loins with spaetzle on the inside, which were quite oily. The glasses were stained. The service tried hard, but overall seemed helpless. The rustic ambience could have been quite charming if the decoration wasn't dusty and obviously hadn't been cared for for years. Despite a reservation, our seat right at the kitchen entrance was extremely uncomfortable because staff were constantly walking past it. For the quality of the food, the service and the uncomfortable space, the price was in no way justified. Another annoyance was the smoky entrance area. Be it staff or tenants - the fact that people seem to be smoking again in the entrance area of ​​the bar didn't surprise me anymore given the rest of my experience. All in all a disappointing experience.
