Very tasty, good portions, I wouldn't have expected it given the good location. Schnitzel breading was good, fried potatoes well fried and with enough onions.

Great restaurant in FN. Were there yesterday on May 1st. The beautiful promenade was packed. We managed to get an outdoor seat at the restaurant in question. Despite the hectic pace and many guests, hats off to the friendly staff, whether waitress or waiter, everyone is in a great mood. The service, the food, everything was perfect. Price-performance ratio - top. The owner, Mr. Roth, can only be congratulated on this crew. One thing is for sure, we will definitely visit the place again the next time we visit FN. Spaghetti Bolognese and baked potato were very tasty. The food came very quickly even though the restaurant was completely full. We would recommend the restaurant.

Very strange restaurant. We wanted to drink a good beer and the waiter told us that if we didn't eat here we couldn't stay. We should sit outside somewhere. We turned around and left, of course we will never come back but please restaurant management, pay attention to your staff. I think this is not the best version of customer communication.

Honestly, a pure disaster. We were there the day before and wanted to spend a nice evening in the hospital cellar. We were greeted very unfriendly at the door with the motto (have you booked a table)? I answer the question with no! and the person who greeted us replied with (I don't have a seat)! turned around and walked away. I left the restaurant with mixed feelings, but at my wife's insistence because she thought the reviews on Google were great, I decided to turn around and book a table for the next one. Now the disaster begins. We were warmly welcomed, shown to our table, and now the whole adventure begins! Menu has been ordered - 30 - 76 - 61 - 47 What was served was exactly what was ordered, frozen vegetables that hadn't been warmed up properly 🤦‍♂️ every bite hurt Champions from the can, quality class 1 😂 brand (good and cheap) starter salad! 3 leaves of Bionda and Rosso lettuce refined with yogurt dressing to choke down, everything else refined with Vegeta spice. Conclusion: Due to the anticipation and Google recommendation, the anticipation was great. Unfortunately, apart from the service, the restaurant cannot be recommended.

Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with my visit to the hospital cellar in Friedrichshafen. My rump steak was seared on the outside, but was raw on the inside and completely unseasoned. After I had to return it to the kitchen, it came back well-done, but far from medium. The side dishes that were originally served warm were now cold. My wife had a flatbread soup in which the pancake strips were the size of a shoe sole, as well as seemingly deep-fried but also almost raw pork loins with spaetzle on the inside, which were quite oily. The glasses were stained. The service tried hard, but overall seemed helpless. The rustic ambience could have been quite charming if the decoration wasn't dusty and obviously hadn't been cared for for years. Despite a reservation, our seat right at the kitchen entrance was extremely uncomfortable because staff were constantly walking past it. For the quality of the food, the service and the uncomfortable space, the price was in no way justified. Another annoyance was the smoky entrance area. Be it staff or tenants - the fact that people seem to be smoking again in the entrance area of ​​the bar didn't surprise me anymore given the rest of my experience. All in all a disappointing experience.

Traditional cosy place with friendly and quick service. The beer was very good, the food was okay. There was nothing wrong with it, but it wasn't impressive either.

We visited again with our family after a trip as a couple last year. The service was excellent and the food fabulous. We looked at lots of other places to eat but ended up coming back here for three nights as we had such a great time. We already miss it!

A good bourgeois kitchen. The dishes in the pictures are the daily specials. These are plentiful and a pleasure for the heart and soul. The sauces are tailored to each dish. All about successful food. The service was always there to order, eat and pay. One thing that surprised us was that EVERYONE SMILED while serving us. Full stars. :-)

I've never seen anything so unfriendly. I had to sit down today because I had a lot of problems with my back. The waiter came and asked me what I wanted and said I had to sit for a moment. He literally chased me away and said it was for guests who wanted to sit. Said I was leaving straight away and then he left and insulted me in his language. The joke is, when I walked past about an hour later the table was still empty...

Beautifully located directly on the lake and at the beginning of the pedestrian zone. Nice and attentive service. The food is delicious 😋 and sufficient portion. Always happy to come back.

The waiter who served us was extremely rude and unfriendly. Didn't take everyone's order at the table. Adjusting the dishes from the menu has been ironed out. (Jägerschnitzel instead of pork with turkey). The sauces were more like soups. The mushrooms in the hunter's sauce were canned and appropriately rubbery. Even though it is cheaper than other restaurants nearby, the price is by no means justified. The only positive thing is the rustic atmosphere and the lake view. But this doesn't take it out.

Very rude staff, it's not possible to be chased away because of a reservation 2 hours later, it's not possible. Chairs were taken away from the table without asking. It's not possible at all

We are visiting Aero Fried, which means many of the places are booked out; however, we have been lucky to eat here several times. The food is excellent with seasonal (asparagus) options. The service is friendly and attentive. In fact we cancelled our booking with another higher rated place, which we tried at lunch time in favor of this restaurant. The basement is very cozy making for a great atmosphere in wat is a very German pub/restaurant

Today we had a spontaneous meal in the hospital cellar. Even though all the tables were reserved, we were still given a table, albeit with a time limit, which wasn't a bad thing at all. The food was delicious, spicy and above all fresh. The service was quick and courteous. We can only recommend the restaurant

The food went. Didn't say wow, not super tasty either, but ok. Unfortunately the service was very terrible, unfriendly, unorganized and not coordinated at all. The waiter got our order but served 3 other tables more than half an hour later than us🫣. Then came half. We waited, of course (since we didn't order everything right away). But nothing came. I emphasize there wasn't much going on. Finally half came. We also ordered another drink later. Nobody came anymore. We simply paid as we usually do in this restaurant after waiting 20 minutes and left. The toilets were dirty, without soap, without dry towels for the hands. Never again.

Great service and delicious home-made food. Unfortunately, people smoke in the upper area... the impressions are mostly very good.

Ein beliebtes Restaurant mit deutscher Küche direkt am Bodensee. Wer etwas ruhiges sucht, sucht besser anderswo. Wenn euch ein bisschen Lautstärke nicht stört, dann erwarten euch leckeres Essen und freundliche, zuvorkommende Bedienung.

Super tolles Essen und einn super Service. Und was ich das beste finde, es gibt kleine Portionen. Die mit Vorspeise vollkommen ausreichend sind. Auch die Preise sind gut und angemessen!

Sehr leckeres Essen in einem Gewölbe. Ich liebe die Maultaschen Allgäuer Art.

Waren als Geburtstagsüberaschung von Baden-Württemberg nach Friedrichshafen gefahren. 3 Tage. Das Restaurant war ein toll. Unbedingt weiter zu empfehlen !!!!

Unverschämte Bierpreise… 5,60€ für eine halbe… Etwas abseits vom See bekomme ich eine Halbe für 3.60€ und zwar ebenfalls aus dem Fass.

Sehr nette, urige Lokalität. Sehr liebe und aufmerksame Servicedame. Nur hatten wir mit drchgehend warmer Küche gerechnet und uns auf ein Schnitzel gefreut. Trotzdem hat die nette Dame unsere Not gelindert und und einen Zwiebelkuchen warm gemacht, der wirklich erstklassig war.

Sehr zufrieden, die jeweilige Kellnerin dort war sehr freundlich und das Essen war hevorragend. Ich fand es Klasse das man auswählen konnte ob man eine große oder kleine Portion haben möchte. Top! Gerne wieder!

Schmeckt sehr gut, komme ich wieder

Essen gut, das Personal war freundlich aber überfordert, weil viel los war. Wir mussten sehr lange auf unsere Rechnung warten.

Angenehmes Ambiente, leckeres Essen und viel Platz im Außenbereich zum draußen Essen. Der Service ist sehr gut. Leider habe ich beim Cordon Bleu zum Großteil den Käse vermisst. Hier sollte nachgebessert werden. Alles in Allem ist ein Besuch dennoch empfehlenswert und kann in Betracht gezogen werden. Die Preise sind im übrigen gerechtfertigt und human geblieben.

Am Wasserspielplatz gelegen wo die Kinder herum planschen, hatte ich die Idee gleich mich in der Tollen Terrasse des "Spitalskellers" Platz zu nehmen und mit der Familie Mittag zu essen. Leider war es ein halber reinfall. Aber nur zur Hälfte. Die gute Hälfte war die wunderschöne Lage und die niedrigen Preise einerseits. Aber das war es schon für mich. Die schlechte hälfte ist das jedes Gericht "Geschmacksverstärker" beinhaltet, (das erklärt auch die niedrigen Preise) für die Frau mit empfindlichen Magen eine Qual. Leider erkannte ich dies erst spät. Nun gut. Ich nahm das Angebot auf der Tafel an "Piccata Milanese mit Tagliatelle* meine Frau Tomaten-Mozzarella. Für die Kinder Schnitzel mit spätzle aber nur Eine Portion, weil mit der Hitze essen diese verständlicher Weise nicht viel. Das Essen kam mit der normalen Wartezeit auch an. Nur hatten wir fehlendes Besteck, ich wies die Kellnerin darauf hin aber Sie kam nicht mehr zurück und mein verzweifelter Versuch Aufmerksamkeit zu bekommen scheiterte" Also musste ich letztendlich selbst aufstehen und mein Besteck holen. Geschmeckt hat alles es waren auch relativ große Portionen die Caprese könnte man ein bisschen liebervoller servieren. Die Toiletten gleichen einer Latrine. Unfassbar das man sowas nicht sieht. Nun ging es ans zahlen. Was auf der Tafel mit der Piccata nicht stand war das es noch eine Nachspeise dazu gäbe aber warum dies man nicht hinzugefügt hat, keine Ahnung. Diese hatte uns der Kellner auf zwei Teller servieren lassen wie es hieß "für die kinder". Schön, aber ich hatte das nicht erbeten. Es kam Yoghurt mit ein bisschen Walnüsse und Honig obendrauf . Und was ist wenn jemand gegen Walnüsse allergisch gewesen wäre? Sowas muss man auf der Tafel schreiben damit der Gast bei der Bestellung dies ansprechen kann und man dann nach einer Alternative sucht. Für mich nicht mehr wieder, Schade weil die Lage ist Bombe. Aber so Leichtwindfehler können Gäste kosten.

Gräten im Filet sind ja ok, doch ganze Flossen dran...?! So schlecht geputzten Felchen hab ich noch nie gegessen. Teils auch zu fettig von der Panade, Kartoffeln haben auch etwas zu viel Fett abbekommen und das Gemüse war kein frisches. Man schmeckte das Fertigprodukt. Das Essen von meinem Mann war ok - deswegen den Stern! Service und Co waren zwar ok, kommen jedoch nicht noch mal hier her.

Die Qualität des Essens ist ausbaufähig. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis, insbesondere auf die Portionsgröße ist verbesserungswürdig.

wir sind heute beim bummeln zufällig in den spitalkeller "gestolpert. die servicedame (nicole) war super freundlich (der kollege auch). in den paar tagen, die wir jetzt am bodensee sind, war dies das beste lokal und essen bisher. preislich war auch alles absolut ok. wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen sicher noch einmal vorbei, bevor wir abreisen. 😉

Ganz okay kann weiter nichts sagen haben nur kurz etwas getrunken und dann weiter.
