Restaurant Sonnengruß in Marsberg

Totally rude on the phone. 2 days trying to achieve. And then something like this...

90 minutes waiting time! This is not possible without prior notice. Bar atmosphere, doesn't have the slightest bit of a restaurant. Okay, everything was freshly prepared (you could see and hear the schnitzel knocking) but what was then served was not acceptable food. Schnitzel was hard, sauce was lukewarm and the fried potatoes were glassy and not crispy. There was a lack of salt and pepper on the table for the salad and vinegar and oil to season it wouldn't be bad either. So far I have always assessed fairly and appropriately to the situation and I am also aware of the staff shortage, but the evening would definitely have been happier in a fast food restaurant. Sorry not recommended. It's a shame that you were so disappointed at the end of your vacation.

I think you can eat here without any problems, the portions are sufficient and good. The service was very friendly. The gypsy-style schnitzel was also very tasty, the fries were crispy and the mayonnaise was not in a plastic portion bag. It is clear to us that the next time we are back in Masberg we will eat here before our return journey.

The food was super delicious! The Jägerschnitzel was a dream, especially the sauce! And the waitresses do a very good job, are friendly and attentive. Definitely go there!
