The restaurant is in an old building. It's a well-preserved former train station. The restaurant has a good menu and the prices are reasonable.

The restaurant is a very nice location with a lovely atmosphere and an interesting history in the old train station building. Parking is available both next to and in front of the building. The staff is very attentive. The food is delicious and, in my opinion, quite generous. The prices are reasonable.

We came here today for the second time during our short visit to Westerstede. Once again, we received a very friendly welcome and service. The food (Greek pizza with chicken and butter chicken) was delicious. We didn't have to wait long, and the portions and topping quantity were very good. Thank you very much. We'll be happy to come back when we're in the area.

We ate here twice during our stay. The service was very prompt and friendly on both days. The Indian and Greek offerings are unusual but interesting. We tried both and were not disappointed. The portions are generous (even for hungry men) and delicious. The restaurant maintains its train station theme and has a quaint feel.

We happened to be passing by and noticed the beautiful building. It's an old station building, no trains in sight, but everything is still recognizable. Lunch is served buffet-style or from the menu. Delicious.

That was the worst restaurant visit I've ever experienced. We arrived at Signal around 8 p.m. Despite having a reservation, we weren't on the list. We were assigned a table. Then, while we were already seated, they cleaned up. We were then brought the menu and asked if we wanted a drink. We wanted to look at the menu first. Around 8:10 p.m., the waiter came back and took our order: drinks, appetizer, and main course. The table next to us had already finished and left around 8:15 p.m. We got our drinks a few minutes later. Up until then, everything was fine. Little by little, more guests left the restaurant. There were a few more guests in the back, and in our room, about 10 people at a table, and 6 more women arrived shortly before 9 p.m. After that, nothing happened. Everyone had already placed their orders. Drinks were forgotten at the 10th table, which can happen sometimes. At around 9:30 (after 80 minutes) we got our starter. The tzatziki was forgotten. A little later, the salad for the main course arrived. My wife's had been carelessly slapped onto her plate, and some of my coleslaw was dried out. At around 10:10 p.m., the ladies asked what was wrong with the food. They had already been there for an hour. The group of 10 and we had been there for over two hours. The waitress's response was: You would have to expect it to take longer if there was an event going on at the back of the building. Several people responded that this wasn't mentioned when we made the reservation, and that if you couldn't make it to both, you'd have to close the front. As compensation, the ladies were given ouzo, and the group of 10 were given a bottle of ouzo. We were asked if we wanted ouzo. I said I had to go; nothing else was offered. A short time later, the ladies got their pizzas, and we got our food. My wife wanted bifteki instead of lamb. There was no lamb on it, but there was no bifteki either. The group of 10 got their food sometime earlier. I wasn't paying attention. We then started eating after more than 2 hours. Unfortunately, I didn't get any further. The fries were okay, can't go wrong, a skewer of meat was okay too, and then came the liver. Fried and raw inside. I'm attaching a picture. I then stopped eating because I felt a bit sick. The waitress then came and asked if I had enjoyed my meal. I said no, the waitress smiled at me and then wanted to clear away. I told her again that it didn't taste good because the liver was raw. She then just said "Ohh" and wanted to leave. I also told her that I wasn't paying for the meal. She then just said "Yes, of course." She came a few minutes later so we could pay. My meal had been canceled in its entirety. We had already agreed beforehand that there would be no tip for such outstanding service. Of course, we hadn't paid the exact amount, so we paid in bills. It was about 4 euros more. The waitress said thank you and wanted to leave, probably convinced that we thought everything was great. My wife then asked what about the change. She just said, "Oh yeah," but apparently didn't have enough change. She then came back with €5 in change. That was the last time I saw the inside of that store. The employees were pretty arrogant, and the whole process was absolutely terrible.

The premises are very well maintained, with a quiet and relaxed atmosphere. The staff are all very friendly and handled everything reliably. All dishes were appetizingly presented and impressed us. The drinks were also at the perfect temperature.

After a long day of work and travel, we were hungry and spontaneously went to Signal with our dog. We got a bowl of water for our darling. In short, staff very friendly, not intrusive, atmosphere really great that such a beautiful old building is being used. And to eat the baked mushrooms were amazing. Everything tasted great. We had a wonderful evening. Keep it up.

Beautiful location in the listed former train station. Unfortunately, eating in the Greek/Indian restaurant is not recommended. The baked calamari was not crispy at all but soft and chewy. The gyro is similar.

We were on vacation in Westerstede with our motorhome. On New Year's Eve we found a free spot in this restaurant. We had reserved a few days in advance. As soon as we arrived we were very impressed. The old station building was very nicely decorated. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The selection was extensive. We were very impressed with the food; nothing was left on the plates at the tables next to us either. The portions were generous and the prices were reasonable. All in all, we were very happy to be able to eat there. Highly recommended 👍👍.

A very good Greek restaurant in the former Westerstede train station with a very extensive menu.

Food picked up was wrong, that can happen. Then everything was exchanged again and lo and behold. Wrong again! Sad!!!

We were disappointed with the restaurant. I had a piece of plastic in my salad. The calamari was like rubber. Fries tasted like fish/calamari and were not crispy. Staff would rather play with their cell phones than take care of the guests. Staff not attentive. I sat for 30 minutes without a drink, which means they don't want to make money from the guests. Tzaziki only a small bowl on the plate, we then ordered a small extra plate for €5.90. We ordered normal gyros and ladies gyros plate with calamari. With two drinks and two ouzo 60€ no value for money

Nachdem wir jahrelang hier Kunde waren, werden wir nach diesem Besuch nicht wiederkommen (Betreiberwechsel). Essen lauwarm, Gyros minderer Qualität, Pommes wirkten als wenn sie nochmal die Friteuse durchlaufen hätten (total trocken).

This evening we visited the Signal restaurant again after some time. The food can no longer be compared to previous times. Meat not really warm, gyros limp, fries totally dry, as if dried out. We won't come back. It's a shame about 50 euros for two dishes + two drinks. Price/performance is not right.

We sat outside and were served by a young man who was a bit "stroppy", the food tasted good, but was a fairly small portion (Giros with fries) When we paid inside, super friendly people served us (probably the boss)

Of course, the ambience in the old train station cannot be topped. The staff is always very friendly and there is hardly anything wrong with the food.

Erst kam das Essen kalt und dann wurde es nochmal aufgewärmt - somit war das Fleisch total zäh. Bedienung war auch nicht einsichtig, das schlechte Essen musste bezahlt werden.

Wir haben etwa 2 Stunden auf unser bestelltes Essen gewartet und mussten es dann noch einmal bestellen. Das war dem Personal nicht aufgefallen. Als Kompensation erhielten wir nichts außer jeder einen Ouzo. Es gab nicht einmal eine Entschuldigung seitens der Geschäftsführung.

They seem to be a bit planned. Ordered food with a starter and main course. The obligatory salad came, followed by the main course. Not good since we wanted the appetizer, he took it away and brought the appetizer. But then the obligatory salad came again, which we also refused. Food was good. Staff was nice. But €7.00 for a cappuccino is really extortionate. And I had two of them. €14.00 for 2 drinks. Sorry, but it's not worth it to me... it ruined the rest of the evening for me.

Man kann es nur noch in Stichpunkten zusammen fassen, weil einfach zuviel daneben ging: - nach 30 Minuten Bestellung aufgenommen - Kinder bekamen alles vorweg - falsches Gericht gebracht - bei Korrektur Spieß von einem Teller genommen und auf anderen Teller gelegt, obwohl in Karte 2 Spieße standen, 2 Teller mit einem - leere Gläser nur zur Hälfte abgeräumt - falsches Bier gebracht - Bedienung wußte nicht, ob es Reis gab - brachte Salat zu Spagetti, wußte nicht ob er dazu gehört - Ouzo warm und wässerig 🤔 - Wirt brachte statt Julischka Marsala, Streitgespräch, es sei Julischka - Wartezeit auf Essen 90 Minuten - Reis kalt, Gyros lauwarm, zwei weitere Gerichte auch kalt Den Stern gibt es für den Geschmack beim Gyros. Sorry, schlechtester Abend ever

Food served cold. Unfortunately the quality is not good at all. Unfortunately, no heart and soul is put into this. Quantity was okay. The small salad didn't work for that. This tasted very old and stale. The olives were rotten. Sorry, but unfortunately that doesn't work at all. It's a shame that nothing is being done with the store.

Sehr schönes altes Bahnhofsgebäude mit toller griechischer Küche! Auch indische Gerichte sind verfügbar!

Leider wurden wir um 21:45 Uhr am Wochenende sehr unhöflich ,,rausgeschmissen‘‘ - Lt. Öffnungszeiten bis 23 Uhr geöffnet.. Abgesehen davon, wenn man frühzeitig schließen möchte, kann man das auch freundlich verpacken. Schade, wir kommen nicht wieder.

Früher war dieses Lokal unser Stammlokal. Fast jede Woche waren wir einmal dort. Nach unserem Umzug nach Bayern, waren wir dann nur noch selten in dem Restaurant. Jetzt sind wir wieder da, haben den Besitzerwechsel natürlich mitbekommen und haben es mittlerweile 5 x getestet. Leider war es 5 x nicht gut. Gyros nicht knusprig, teilweise leider noch roh. Pommes mehr als schlecht. Ich wusste gar nicht, dass man Pommes so schlecht machen kann. Diese waren nicht durch, sie waren null knusprig und nur noch lauwarm. Fetakäse aus dem Backofen auch leider irgendwie nicht fertig gebacken. Das macht uns sehr traurig. Bester Service ist immer noch die Tochter des Hauses. Sehr schade für so ein tolles Haus mit tollem Ambiente.

Das Essen schmeckt irgendwie alles gleich. Die Hygiene lässt zu ŵünschen übrig.Wir wahren gestern da haben uns übers Essen beschwert,das interessierte keinen.alles in einen es ist nicht mehr so wie es mal wahr.

Das Essen fand ich sehr lecker. Etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig ist, das es dort griechisch und indische Gerichte gibt.

Wir waren montags mit vier Frauen im Signal verabredet. Online Reservierung klappte einwandfrei, wir konnten uns trotzdem noch einen Tisch aussuchen, wir wählten einen Tisch draußen. Zwei von uns kannten das Lokal noch nicht und waren sehr angetan. Unser Getränke, welche wir so Viertel nach acht bestellt haben, wurden serviert, das Essen war reichlich und lecker. Die Teller wurden abgeräumt....... und das war's. Leider wurde nicht nach weiteren Wünschen gefragt. Kurz nach halb zehn ergriffen wir die Initiative und fragten nach einer weiteren Bestellung ( Getränke). Leider konnten wir nichts mehr bekommen. Es würde um 22 Uhr geschlossen. Wir hatten alle wirklich Durst, der Tzatziki ist nämlich echt lecker!!!! Dann wollten wir bitte die Rechnung. Diese kam erst nach nochmaligem bitten um fünf vor zehn. Leider war auch dieser Vorgang für uns etwas irritierend und lässt uns den Abend nicht in bester Erinnerung bleiben. Schade, sehr schade.
