We were in Augsburg for a day and stumbled upon it spontaneously. It was so good! We had shawarma and a vegetarian shushu mixed plate. Everything was perfectly seasoned and absolutely delicious! We were completely blown away. I would come back to Augsburg just for that. It's also perfect for the summer weather! We were absolutely thrilled! The people were also very nice. The atmosphere is also very cozy and pleasant.

The halloumi wrap I had was pretty average. I was missing a signature sauce and more veggies brause the halloumi itself is so salty and dominant in this wrap.

I ate here for the first time today, and the food was incredibly good. Everything tasted authentic, and the staff were incredibly respectful and friendly. The atmosphere is very pleasant. I'll definitely come back next time I visit Augsburg :) Thank you so much! 😊

I was last there a few years ago and again today. The food is still very good, with a special flavor for me as a German. The Shushu Mix for €13.50 was a bit sour overall. I particularly enjoyed the smoky sauce. Beautifully decorated, spread over two floors with a relaxed layout (see picture) and "urban" music.

We've eaten there several times, but also picked up food. The guys are super friendly. They also accommodate special customer requests. The food is always top quality. Highly recommended.

Shushu Falafel is an excellent restaurant for anyone who wants to discover Syrian cuisine or just enjoy delicious falafel. The combination of friendly service, cozy atmosphere and delicious food means that I am happy to recommend this restaurant. Definitely worth a visit!

Delicious and fresh. Falafel are super crispy, hummus is nice and creamy and the lemon dip is the highlight. The mix plate is really full and is worth it every time. Also for 2 people.

For the first time at Shushu, the falafel are freshly made, could be crispier but are nicely seasoned and you can tell there are fresh herbs in the mix. Lots of houmous goes into the Dürüm, and other good, fresh ingredients too. There wasn't any sauce worth mentioning, but maybe I could have had some with it. A rather above average falafel for Germany. Very cheerful young man at the counter. The other one looked quite grim. At €6 for a large Dürüm, the price is okay. I found it convenient that I could pay with Paypal.

I really enjoy going here with friends and eating a vegetarian Shushu plate with them. It's really tasty, varied and perfect for snacking while you chat 😍 But the falafel wraps to take away are also really good. Oh yes and the staff is very friendly 😊

This place is seriously the best. It is because of Shu Shu Falafel that I came to adventure out into a "new world of cuisine". I could eat here every day if I had the money! Seriously worth every euro!!

First of all: I give it 4 out of 5 stars because it is more of a snack bar than a restaurant. The food tastes very good, both the vegetarian dishes and the meat dishes. The selection of drinks is rather limited. The service is just like a snack bar, but good in comparison. The ambience could be a little nicer, but you can see that an effort has been made. The benches upstairs are definitely very comfortable. The amount of food is sufficient. Compared to a restaurant the price is rather low, but compared to a snack bar the prices are still okay - they shouldn't go any higher. I really enjoyed it. Based on the taste alone, I will come back.

It was my first time here and it certainly wasn't my last visit. Very fine, authentic food. Really nice staff. I ordered the mixed platter and it convinced me that I was in good hands here. Can definitely be recommended. Keep it up.

Beginners, the plates are tastelessly made. I didn't want to answer, but your answer provoked me. Well, I expected a better answer from the owner. With all this experience since 1996 in Berlin, you serve our traditional food without considering the traditional way these dishes should be prepared, the way your mother and grandmother prepared these dishes (falafel, hummus, moutabbal , Taboule, etc) You can surprise the Germans and foreigners, but you can't tell me about our traditional culinary cuisine, about food and taste. You didn't achieve the average. Their falafel are raw on the inside and burnt on the outside, oil is definitely very old, hummus has no taste, the Germans certainly wouldn't know the taste if they hadn't already tried something better, fries with shawarma are a joke, not a traditional plate presentation. Well, if you don't know the basics of Lebanese and Syrian cuisine, you should apologize for the poor quality you serve and come up with something better next time. I don't eat at your restaurant for free, I pay money and expect quality in return for the money I pay. Good luck

Six of us went here for dinner without any great expectations. The dishes were authentic and really tasty! The service could be a little more attentive, but all in all a really great restaurant that we can only recommend. The mixed plate was particularly fantastic!

Unfortunately, the falafel sandwich here didn't convince me today. To my taste, the falafel balls lack that certain extra spice, but the sauce is just spicy and I say that even though I like spicy sauces, but this one is definitely too spicy, so unfortunately it drowns out everything.

We have been eating here again and again for years. I can recommend the falafel plate, it is the absolute favorite. And I would almost say that they are the best falafel in town. Unfortunately, drinks are only available in bottles.

This place used to be so good that I would drive a long time just to eat there. Meanwhile, prices have risen and quality has deteriorated. The falafel is lightly seasoned and tastes bland. The sauce is mostly yoghurt and tastes like a kebab sauce. Completely inappropriate for a falafel dish. When I asked why there was no tahini sauce, the answer was that it was mixed with the yogurt. Well, we won't eat there anymore. Edit: After this wonderful response from the owner, I would like to point out that I didn't say that it was too expensive, but rather that the quality has deteriorated and the food tastes bland. What's so hard to understand?

We've been there twice now. Facility is ok, but medium clean. Unfortunately, the food didn't taste good at all, so the bread wasn't fresh or homemade - the sauces - even if we love these dishes elsewhere - were simply not good - and the falafel was simply not tasty. Simply not recommended for the prices

Food would be ordered, waited for 1.5 hours, then we would be informed that our food would not be delivered. The reason was not communicated, there was no apology or anything else. Simply no delivery

I ordered 2 mix plates last night, the food was great as always, but instead of being delivered as stated, the food wasn't delivered after half an hour, but only after a call and a total waiting time of 1:45 hours. Gladly again on site, delivery not recommended

The food (falafel as the main course) was very attractively prepared and well seasoned. The service was pleasant, but unfortunately we had to wait a while for the mint tea. We really liked the seating on the first floor with benches and wooden tables, and the Banksy pictures on the walls are a testament to taste.

The highlight at Shushu is of course the food. You order at the counter and are then served at your seat. The places on the 1st floor are the more comfortable.

I was thrilled 10 years ago and was in Augsburg again. The Shushu Mix plate was again excellent. I am always amazed by the look, the variety and the taste. A visit is a must on every visit to Augsburg!
