Absolut furchtbar! Der Geschmack war grauenhaft, die Hähnchenbrust roch bestialisch, war rosa und nicht durchgegart – reine Geldverschwendung! Der Service war unterirdisch. Ich hatte ihnen ja gesagt, dass es so stinkt, dass ich nicht mal den zweiten Bissen genommen habe. Der ganze Teller blieb unberührt… Ich würde niemandem empfehlen, dort zu essen.

Die Preise sind hoch und das Essen ungenießbar. Ich bekam ein kaltes und ranziges arabisches Schawarma-Gericht. Ich kann es nicht empfehlen.

Das Hänchen Broast war roh und nicht durchgebraten. Eine sehr schlechte Erfahrung.

Ich war jetzt schon mehrmals bei Damaskus essen (ungefähr 3-4 mal). Jedes Mal habe ich eine andere Menge bekommen. Einmal war es ein normaler Teller, ein anderes Mal nur ein halber Teller und das zum gleichen Preis. Als ich die Mitarbeiter darauf angesprochen habe, kam nur ein „Ja, sorry“ und danach nichts mehr. Hier auf Bild 1 ist ein halbes Hähnchenmenü zu sehen, und auf Bild 2 ein „halbes Hähnchenmenü“, das eher einem Viertel Hähnchen entspricht, wenn überhaupt. Außerdem fehlen die zwei kleinen Käsesandwiches. Nie wieder.

Eine wirklich schlechte Erfahrung. Das Brathähnchen war innen nicht durchgegart (es war rosa und eindeutig roh), was gesundheitsschädlich ist. Ich bin ins Restaurant gegangen, um nachzufragen, aber zu meinem Entsetzen hieß es dort, das sei normal! Leider werde ich dort nicht mehr bestellen und rate der Geschäftsleitung dringend, ihre Koch- und Lebensmittelsicherheitsstandards zu überprüfen.

Ganz ehrlich, das wird nicht wieder vorkommen. Das Shawarma war kalt und ungenießbar, als wäre es schon vorher eingewickelt und uns dann serviert worden. Und das knusprige Hähnchen schmeckte nach Vanille, wie Kuchen.

Damaskus Döner, Augsburg – so bitte nicht Leider war mein Besuch bei Damaskus Döner eine herbe Enttäuschung. Das Fleisch war extrem trocken und völlig geschmacklos. Das Gemüse im Döner wirkte willkürlich zusammengestellt – Zutaten, die in einem klassischen Döner nichts zu suchen haben. Besonders irritierend war die „Zwiebel“-Mischung: Statt frischer Zwiebeln gab es fast ausschließlich Rucola mit ein paar vereinzelten Zwiebelstreifen – ohne Übertreibung zu 99 % Rucola. Der Döner fiel beim Essen auseinander, und der Service war leider genauso lieblos wie das Essen selbst. Schade – mit diesem Namen hätte ich deutlich mehr erwartet.

Sehr leckerer Wrap in der Nähe des Hauptbahnhofs. Auch viele vegetarische und vegane Optionen.

Service nett, aber sehr langsam. Essen okay. Leider stand die Tür die ganze Zeit offen und wir haben sehr gefroren. Hatten einmal drum gebeten, sie zu schließen, keine Chance xD

Uns hat das Essen in diesem Restaurant sehr gut gefallen. Es war lecker und sauber. Die ganze Familie hat es genossen. Das Shawarma war einfach köstlich. Ich hoffe, wir kommen beim nächsten Mal wieder zum Mittag- oder Abendessen, probieren weitere Gerichte und teilen unsere Erfahrungen mit euch. 😊

Der Döner ist mittlerweile ganz gut, der war früher eher mittelmäßig. Mein Problem ist aber eher das unzuverlässige Personal. Wenn ich per Telefon im Voraus etwas zur Abholung bestelle, dann ja, weil ich es (z.B. in der Mittagspause) schnell abholen möchte. Wenn mir dann eine Zeit genannt wird, ab wann ich es abholen kann, ich dann zur genannten Zeit in den Laden gehe und offensichtlich noch nicht mal begonnen wurde, die Bestellung fertig zu machen, frag ich mich schon, was da in den Köpfen so vorgeht. Ich bestelle doch vor, damit ich dann NICHT noch 10 oder 15 minuten im Laden warten muss...

After 12 hrs of driving it was the best french fries we ever had. Garlic sauce was also good. Meat was passable.

By God, there is nothing better than this shawarma. It is very tasty. The potatoes are fresh and crunchy. It is very luxurious in the end. By God, I am a regular customer.

Excellent a real amazing quick food destination authentic

I was really surprised that I didn’t know about this place before. The food looked and tasted great, and the atmosphere was very nice. The person serving the food was also really friendly, which made the experience even better. I had the chicken with fatoosh salad, and my friend tried the fattah shawarma – both were amazing. Definitely a place worth visiting again!

Honestly, the truth must be told, thank you, the young men are great and the taste is truly Syrian... May God grant you a good livelihood.

I don't usually talk negatively, but unfortunately I had a bad experience. The prices were very expensive. I ate two shawarma meat meals, one hamburger, yogurt, children's juice, and a cola. I paid 40.50. The salad was stale.

Yesterday, we ordered a shawarma sandwich and a regular shawarma from there. Both were loaded with meat and an extremely heavy garlic sauce. There were no vegetables in them at all. The bread wasn't even slightly toasted, which should be standard for a shawarma. Very poor quality and taste. Will definitely avoid them in the future.

Unfortunately, this was a very negative experience. There were four of us and we just wanted to try out Damascus. From the very beginning, we didn't feel very welcome. We had to wait a very long time to be served and for the food to arrive. After ordering, we were rudely informed that certain dishes were unavailable and we would have to reorder some. Some of the dishes were swapped. The vegetarian dishes looked very appealing. The meat dishes were also well presented, but the salads were worryingly warm. And the taste was rather mediocre. Our table was also a bit dirty, and there were leftovers from other customers on the floor. We won't be coming back.

This was our first time at Damascus. It's more of a snack bar with a large seating area and a place to eat. Since I have no experience with Arabic food, I was very excited to see what we got here. Overall, we thought the food was good. We were served. However, there were no glasses. I also didn't like the fact that it was quite dark, the fabric chairs were stained, there was food on the floor that had been dropped by previous guests, and I only use the restroom in an emergency.

Well, I have to say the crispy chicken isn't bad but the staff is too unfriendly, which is why I only gave the food 3 stars.

The long wait was particularly disappointing. We had to wait forever for our food even though the restaurant wasn't even full. It's a shame, because Damascus once had real potential. Currently the price-performance ratio is simply no longer right. Hopefully the team will get back to its old strength soon.
