Restaurant Secretis in Nettetal

Today I stopped in for coffee and cake with a hiking group: super delicious homemade crumble cake, everyone was thrilled :-) big praise to the baker!

The steak was a bit tough, a choice of side dishes would be better, the price was in the middle range.

We are regular customers and always very satisfied! Friendly and very good service, always delicious food that is beautifully presented. The chef also fulfills an extra request, thank you for that! You are also welcome with a dog.

We have been eating here regularly with the family for years and have now celebrated a big birthday here. And like all the years before, we weren't disappointed again this time. On the contrary - all guests were completely thrilled by the beautiful afternoon and, above all, by the excellent food! This was emphasized again and again! Everything is always just right here! All employees have always been very friendly, helpful and courteous. Even the owner takes time for her guests and was always available to answer any questions or suggestions throughout the entire planning and organization of the celebration and really gave us the best advice and support! We are and will remain loyal guests and are already looking forward to our next visit!

We went there for dinner with a group of 9 people. The very friendly and joking service was attentive, quick and had everything under control. The food was excellent - especially the beetroot salad and the dish of the day (liver Berlin style), but all the other dishes were also highly praised. The price-performance ratio is right here - as is the quality of the food and the service. Gladly again!

Today, on a Monday, we spontaneously ate very, very well at Secretis. Tafelspitz with green Frankfurter sauce was simply great. The meat is tender as butter, the beetroot puree is a great, aromatic and visually beautiful accompaniment to the meat. You can't find it everywhere. It comes with triplets, nicely fried. I would particularly like to highlight the side salad at this point. I think that's how you recognize a good restaurant (and a good sauce). How often is there just iceberg lettuce, a tomato wedge, something “green”, ready-made dressing. In this case it was completely different. 3-4 different fresh and crunchy types of lettuce, fresh grated carrots, peppers, coleslaw, etc. Plus a really good dressing. Simply great! Top! My husband was also very happy with the fresh chanterelles, hash browns and the fantastic side salad. Sauce came separately in a gravy boat. The service was very friendly and accommodating. What I would also like to note is just how clean and tidy everything was: from the toilet, white tablecloth, not a single fly on the window sill, etc. The prices may be 2-3 euros more expensive, but more than that given the 1A quality justified. It was Monday evening at 7:30 p.m. the only ala carte guests besides a group in the next room. So everything went pretty quickly. We will definitely be back and are happy to have (re)discovered this quality in our area. We already knew it from before, but it has moved a little out of focus because it is not hip and modern but simply impresses with its quality.

We had a very nice lunch in the Secretis restaurant. On the occasion of my mother's birthday we met for a leisurely lunch. The food was excellent. The rump steak was tender and perfectly fried. The chanterelles were very good and the portions were just right. The vegetarian burger was very innovative and delicious. The service was also very attentive and very friendly. We will definitely come back.

Were there on Friday during a bike ride. Ate very tasty chanterelles. Nice outdoor space, nice service staff.

This month we were at Secretis for the second time in a long time, and we were thrilled again. Both the salads as a side dish and as a main course were super crunchy, fresh and lovingly prepared. The combination of ingredients is well thought out and perfectly balanced in terms of taste. We were already impressed by the aubergine and the herring on our last visit, and this positive impression has been confirmed once again. The service staff also deserve praise: always friendly, attentive and courteous. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

Unfortunately, the information on Google and the actual website do not match. We stood in front of the restaurant and everything was closed. And that was a good 2 hours before the supposed closing time.

Whether it's a beer on the terrace or a delicious steak inside, if the weather doesn't cooperate. It tastes excellent here.

There were four of us and all the food was excellent. We'd love to come back.

Hi, we ended up in the Secretis restaurant in a registered group of about 30 people, booked through the city of Nettetal, after an asparagus tour on bicycles. This tour includes approx. 30km with information stops at the farmers. The food was a real culinary delight, 3 courses to perfection - that was first class! All participants went home more than satisfied. Event of the city of Nettetal 5 🌟 Secretis 5 🌟 + Thanks !

Had a delicious meal with the whole family, the asparagus, sirloin steak, veal schitzel and the starter were very tasty. Celebrated the birthday with a delicious glass of prosecco with fresh hóllundersaft.

We were very happy in this beautiful house. Cod with Rabarb chutney was a successful combination. Woodruff mouse with caramelized rabarb is rarely found on a dessert menu, simply heavenly. Thank you for the lovely evening

We have been happy to be guests at Secretis for many years with the courteous and perfect service as well as the excellent and balanced cuisine.

We have celebrated there several times. Be it baptisms, birthdays, confirmations. My father invited us (12 people) over Easter. Despite the smaller menu (due to public holidays), all special requests were fulfilled. We had a 4-course menu, where we had already chosen the main course. All courses were beautifully prepared and brought to the table at the same time. It all tasted great. The chef knows his craft and the waitresses take great care of your well-being. I'm already looking forward to the next visit.

6 person group for Easter. Food 5 times ok, 1 time absolutely unsatisfactory. First of all, no apologies; Only at the end of the meal was there an offer to prepare the dish again. The service is sometimes untrained and even rude (menus were collected again before ordering, helpless handling of the above-mentioned complaint, a few other faux pas). Conclusion: there is no second chance to make a good first impression!

Had a family celebration today with 51 people. Everyone was full of praise for the food, drinks and service. It was just great again. A big compliment to the chef and the service. It is only recommended.

We were there today with about 30 people and were very satisfied. Personally, I found the kale with Mettenden & Kassler to be excellent and can therefore praise the kitchen. The communication in advance of booking our conference was also very uncomplicated and also super friendly and accommodating on site. Thank you very much.

We've eaten there so many times. Prices are a little higher, but the atmosphere is great and the food is great, and we recently had the Rheinische Kaffeetafel only to recommend K.Hoffmanns

Schönes Ambiente mit einem perfekten Service. Super freundliches, aufmerksames und zuvorkommendes Personal, dass durch die frische, unkomplizierte Art absolut überzeugt. Die Qualität und Zubereitung der Speisen (immerhin fünf verschiedene Hauptspeisen) waren alle perfekt und so gut wie nicht verbesserungsfähig. Insbesondere die Zubereitung der Wildgerichte und Steaks war ein "High End"-Erlebnis. Kompliment an die Küche. Besser geht fast nicht. Gerne wieder in Kürze.

Celebrated my father's 80th birthday there yesterday. There were 20 of us and I have to say it was perfect. Everything just in time and totally delicious. Highly recommended. We would love to come back. A special compliment to the kitchen and the waitresses...👍

Even though we were the only guests, we were well served. The food was very good, and the tables were beautifully set (with real fabric tablecloths!) 😊 Where else can you find that?! Gladly again.

The Secretis Restaurant, was recommended to me by several relatives and acquaintances at different times over the years. Also because I have lived in Nettetal my entire life, my path has taken me past the restaurant many times. 1. Parking and transport connections: Even if you first think (if you're not from Nettetal) that this restaurant is "far out of the way" on Google Maps, for example, the location could hardly be more optimal. The fine line between a quiet/rural location and good transport connections is ensured by the bus stop in front of the entrance gate, and there is also plenty of parking space. 1.1. Accessibility: The point is a bit complicated and can still be developed a bit...Little things like doors that are difficult for wheelchair users to open without the help of others, I don't think are a problem if you register as such and ask for help asks. I couldn't tell if there was a wheelchair accessible toilet on the ground floor, but the women's toilet is there, while the men's toilet can only be reached via stairs. 2. Reception and ambience: When my brother and I entered the Secretis restaurant, we were immediately greeted by a nice lady and shown to our table. When we were seated, we were immediately politely asked if we would like something to drink and the menu was brought to us. The table was set in a minimalist but elegant way, with a rose and a candle, which was immediately lit. The entire ambience was harmonious and wonderfully complemented the dishes that were served. 2.1. Menu: The menu was not overloaded with dishes, but there was (in my opinion) at least one dish for every taste, regardless of whether it was a starter, soup, main course or dessert. The drinks menu reflects the menu, the only point is that cocktails are also offered and when we asked about them there was surprise in the room, but we were assured that the menu would be improved accordingly. 3. Dishes: The dishes we ordered were very well prepared and very tasty, the vegetables were served in a separate bowl. There was nothing under or over seasoned (at least for our taste). 3.1. Attention: As a free “greeting from the kitchen”, there were four slices of baguette and lard. The employees were very attentive and polite, but also funny and cheerful and without being intrusive, they regularly asked if everything was OK. 4. Conclusion: Visiting the Secretis restaurant was a very nice experience and you felt like you were eating with family. We look forward to a return visit.

Was here on Saturday at 12:15 p.m. First guest 🤔..... Nothing else going on. Extensive menu, there should be something for everyone. I ordered pork medallions and was clearly impressed. I enjoyed it excellently. In the meantime the dining room was filling up and despite the bad weather, more and more guests came. That speaks for the restaurant. I'd love to come back to feast - thumbs up for the kitchen and the service.

Rare to find these days. It's been a long time since service like this continues to be offered after the first drink. Top restaurant for someone who would like to have all-round service again. If you want to know how you learned it, go there. Even those who want to learn something ;-)

Herrlich gegessen mit der ganze Familië. Jedes Gericht war hervorragend. Geschmackvoll und sehr schön angerichtet.

Wir waren jetzt zum dritten Mal im Secretis und waren wieder voll zufrieden. Egal ob Burgunderbraten, gegrillter Lachs oder Rumpsteak, alles war auf den Punkt und sehr schmackhaft. Personal wie immer sehr freundlich und umsichtig. Wir freuen uns schon aufs nächste Mal.

Wir haben hier unsere Goldhochzeit gefeiert. Das Essen war sehr gut und schmackhaft. Alles war wie vorher besprochen. Die Tische waren schön geschmückt und sogar eine Menükarte war für alle Gäste da. Wir haben im Separaten Raum in aller Ruhe feiern können und sehr gut gegessen!
