Restaurant Schwanenhof in Erkelenz

We were there during asparagus season. I love asparagus! Bottom line: the asparagus with hollandaise sauce was divine and cooked to perfection: firm to the bite, flavorful, and buttery tender. The chicken schnitzel was juicy and crispy. They responded to requests with flexibility and friendliness. And the Josta Spritz was also delicious! Thank you! 😊

Hello everyone, When we thought of a good meal, we (4 people) thought of the Schwanenhof, where we hadn't been for a few years. Unfortunately, we found that the house seems to be resting on the fact that it now has enough hotel guests. This no longer has anything to do with the kitchen we remember. You won't see us here anymore. An ordered mixed salad with turkey strips (unfortunately there is no other choice in the categories) consisted of 97% green salad. After asking twice to change this salad to a mixed salad, half a radish and half a slice of cucumber were chopped into it. The other dishes were ok to the eye - but that was all.

The Schwanenhof, located directly on the Bellinghovener Weiher, is a cozy restaurant with a beer garden that has been constantly renovated in recent years and has a modern feel with hotel operations. Ideal for larger groups and as a stopover on a bike tour. Clear map and friendly staff. The winter garden is particularly recommended. Modern and cozy.

We had a good and tasty meal here. We will definitely come back again.

Nice ambience, delicious food, nice service

Great atmosphere, attentive and lovely staff! Both the zander fillet with the fried potatoes and the pepper sauce with the delicious schnitzel were fabulous! Small village, but the food is awesome!

Das Essen ist Prima. Preisleistung auch okay. Der Essen Bereich schalt leider etwas wenn der Raum mit vielen Gästen gefüllt ist. Da würde ich mir vielleicht was überlegen. Unterhalten fällt etwas schwerer dadurch und wir waren mit mehreren Personen dort. Aber trotz allem Service top und wir empfehlen es weiter.👍

Sehr leckeres Essen. Alles super frisch. Angenehmes Ambiente und sehr nettes Personal. Besonders der Koch (Alexander Holin) kann das essen excelent zubereiten. Vorzüglich🤌🏻

Modernes Ambiente in einer schönen ruhigen Lage. Service war sehr zuvorkommend. Haben dort einen Geburtstag in etwas größerer Gruppe gefeiert, dies wurde wunderbar vom ganzen Team umgesetzt. Das Buffet wurde zuvor mit dem Koch abgestimmt, es wurden gute Vorschläge eingebracht wodurch das Essen, allen trotz verschiedener Geschmäcker sehr gut geschmeckt hat. Jeder nahm noch einen Nachschlagteller. Hiermit geht ein Gruß raus, an den Koch des Tages: Alex, hast du super gemacht, vielen Dank für den Tag.

Hatten im Schwanenhof eine Firmen-Weihnachtsfeier. Angenehme Atmosphäre, allerdings war es im Wintergarten etwas frisch. Das Buffet war sehr schmackhaft, besonders die Soßen zum Fleisch.

Das Essen war gut, der Service freundlich und effizient und der Gastraum schön eingerichtet. So weit, so gut! Aber auf der Negativseite wurde Kranenwasser, mit Kohlensäure versetzt, unter dem Namen "Purezza" für stolze 5,80€ berechnet und zu den Hauptgerichten gab es kein Gemüse oder Salat, das musste separat geordert und bezahlt werden (4€ bis 5€). Dies treibt natürlich den anfänglich vertretbaren Preis in die Höhe. Die Wassermasche erinnert gefährlich an CocaCola, die so etwas vor Jahren mit einem sogen. "Mineralwasser" versucht haben. Also: Kranenwasser mit Kohlensäure ist ok, aber dann bitteschön zu einem fairen Preis von max. 3€ die 0,7 l Flasche. Die Speisenkarte war sehr überschaubar. Wir haben besonders Fisch vermisst. Parken ist wegen der sehr schmalen Einfahrt auf den Hotelparkplatz problematisch.
