Ich war mit insgesamt sechs Personen Samstags mittags dort und alle waren sehr zufrieden.Dies war vor einem Jahr. Auch heute Abend, ich war mit meiner Frau dort, wurden wir sehr gut bedient. Ich kann weder beim Service noch beim Essen etwas finden das nicht die volle Punktzahl wert ist. Daher ein sehr gutes Restaurant um in geselliger Runde zu Speisen.

Ich hatte die Gelegenheit in den letzten 3 Wochen bei Oerather Mühle (5🌟), Zum alten Kuhstall (5🌟) sowie Restaurant Hellena (1🌟) in Erkelenz zu essen, mit guten Gewissen kann ich auf jeden Fall Oerather Mühle und Zum alten Kuhstahl empfehlen. Wir waren zu 6/7 Personen dabei. Hier habe ich Mühlenteller bestellt. Die Portion war groß, das Essen war sehr frisch und lecker, Kellner sehr freundlich. Einziges minus.. sehr lange gewartet, aber es war auch sehr voll an dem Tag. Wer hier schlechte Bewertung hinterlässt kann wahrscheinlich selbst nicht kochen. Grosser Lob an den Koch👍

Ich kann hier leider keine gute Bewertung abgeben. Während meines Besuchs ist mir vom Servicepersonal eine heiße Suppe übergeschüttet worden. Solche Missgeschicke können passieren, entscheidend ist jedoch der Umgang damit. In meinem Fall hatte ich nicht den Eindruck, dass angemessen darauf reagiert wurde. Es gab aus meiner Sicht keine ausreichende Entschuldigung oder ein erkennbares Entgegenkommen. Auf meine Nachfrage hin fühlte ich mich eher abgewiesen als ernst genommen. Der Vorfall hat meinen gesamten Besuch stark beeinträchtigt. Insgesamt blieb bei mir der Eindruck eines wenig kundenorientierten Umgangs mit einer unangenehmen Situation.

Das Essen ist immer sehr lecker und qualitativ hochwertig. Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich. Da das Restaurant gut besicht ist, muss man schon länger auf Getränke bzw auf Aufnahme weiterer Bestellungen warten.

Ich hatte noch nie etwas am Essen zu bemängeln. Die Einrichtung ist sehr geschmackvoll und das Personal immer sehr freundlich. Wenn es voll ist kann es schon mal etwas länger dauern stellt aber kein Problem dar wenn man genug Zeit mitbringt. Besonders zu empfehlen ist die Außen-Terrasse in den Sommermonaten. Durch den Wein über den Sitzplätzen hat man einen sehr angenehmen Schatten. Rundum eines meine favorisierten Top 3 Lokale in Erkelenz.

Reservierungen sind vor allem am Wochenende zu empfehlen. Der Service ist aufmerksam und sehr freundlich das Ambiente sehr hübsch, modern aber zeitlos und dezent unaufgeregt. Bei hoher Auslastung etwas zu laut, das kommt aber auf das individuelle Empfinden an. Kleine Karte aber dafür sehr leckere Auswahl, der Salat mit Ziegenkäse war Mega, das cordon Bleu ebenfalls aber leider etwas klein von der portionsgrösse. Parkmöglichkeiten waren die Ecke rum genug vorhanden und im Sommer ist der Außenbereich sicherlich noch den ein oder anderen Besuch wert. Uns hat es gefallen und wir hatten einen schönen Abend.

Service top Ambiente sehr modern, man fühlt sich wohl. Essen war sensationell. Wir hatten 3 Gänge, Qualität und Menge waren absolut super. Ich war das erste Mal dort, mit meinen Eltern, die schon oft dort waren, es war einfach nur toll. Preisleistungsverhälnis stimmt. Ich komme gerne wieder.

Seit Jahren unser Stammlokal. 8 ältere Klassenkameradinnen. Im April feiern wir dort unsere 70Jährge Schul- Entlassung mit 20 "Ehemaligen" Vielen Dank dem ganzen Team!

Wir haben hier den 50. Geburtstag meines Mannes gefeiert und sind immer noch ganz verzaubert! Von der ersten Planung bis zum Ende der Feier hat einfach alles perfekt gestimmt. ​Das Team der Oerather Mühle ist unglaublich herzlich und aufmerksam – man merkt richtig, dass hier Gastfreundschaft großgeschrieben wird. Das Ambiente ist wunderschön und bot genau den richtigen Rahmen für diesen besonderen Meilenstein. Auch unsere Gäste waren durchweg begeistert vom tollen Service und dem leckeren Essen. ​Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team, dass ihr diesen Tag für uns unvergesslich gemacht habt. Wir kommen definitiv sehr gerne wieder!

War echt lecker, ich hatte das Cordon Bleu und es war echt geil. Schön saftig knusprig und auch mehr als genug Käse mit drin. Die Pommes waren auch gut 👍

We had reserved a table for two on Tuesday, July 29th, as it was my birthday. We were assigned a small table. The servers were hectic and stressed. We had to wait quite a long time for the food (schnitzel and cordon bleu). It was quite loud due to toddlers running around. The food was carelessly placed on the plates, and both dishes had a black-brown coating. The salad also arrived late... When we complained, the answer was that, as a chef, he could judge what a schnitzel looked like. We've known the restaurant for over 20 years and had always chosen it and its cuisine for special occasions. Now, the food there is like eating at a snack bar. This was our last visit 😥

✍️ Restaurant Review – Two Visits with Mixed Impressions Ambience: The restaurant impresses with its modern, tasteful interior design. The beer garden, in particular, is very inviting – although we sat inside both times. Unfortunately, loud noises from the service area (glasses breaking several times) and a music system that filled the room spoiled the otherwise pleasant atmosphere. Fine-tuning the acoustics and better-placed speakers would make a big difference here. The table setting consisted of only salt and pepper, no coasters, and no oil or vinegar – a shame, especially for salads, a minus point in the details. Service: On our first visit (about four weeks ago), we received a friendly welcome, which, along with the good food, was the deciding factor for us to return – even considering recommending the restaurant for future club meetings. On our second visit yesterday, the welcome was factually correct but not very cordial: We were simply shown to our table with a hand gesture. Especially in a restaurant of this price range, I would expect to be escorted to my seat – a small effort with a big impact. Ordering was slow: drinks took about 15 minutes to arrive, even though the dining room was only half full. It took over 20 minutes for my order for starters, main courses, and desserts to arrive. During our stay, the staff were present but unattentive – an empty glass was overlooked until we actively asked about it. The welcome offering – three small baguette slices with a dip and four olives – tasted good, but looked unloving. Especially at the beginning, a positive impression should be created – here, the opposite was the case. We ate at the Oerather Mühle. My schnitzel with asparagus was really delicious – nothing to complain about. The portion was also absolutely fine. But: My wife had ravioli (vegetarian) – and only got 5 pieces. It was simply too little for a main course. As a vegetarian, you felt really disadvantaged. The dessert was the low point: The scoop of vanilla ice cream tasted stale, almost as if it had been sitting open in the freezer for months. Absolutely unacceptable. Service was friendly, the atmosphere was okay – but the unbalanced portions and the poor ice cream mean we only give it 3 out of 5 stars.

Wir hatten eine sehr leckere Vorspeisenplatte für 2 Personen. In der Erwartung das man früher immer reichlich grosse Hauptspeisen bekam habe ich hier vorsichtig gegessen und es später bereut. Das Gemüsecurry mit Wokgemüse war ein bisschen Reis mit ein wenig Currysauce, 10 Tiefkühlerbsen und 3 sehr kleinen Blumenkohlröschen und 2 sehr kleinen Brokkoliröschen, 2 Minischeibchen Möhre noch, alles in allem ein Seniorenteller, und das Gemüse zumindest in Teilen noch nicht mal frisch. Das Essen von meinem Mann war gut und reichlich, daher noch befriedigend.

On the menu you will find a manageable, great selection of classic dishes, but also dishes that are not available everywhere. War zum Geburtstag eingeladen. Habe mir Hähnchenmedaillons an Curry-Frucht-Soße, dazu Butterreis und Brokkoli 20,80 € bestellt. Es waren keine Medaillons sonder hauchdünne gegrillte irgendwas Geflügel 3 Scheiben (trocken). Reis war kalt und versalzen ( geschmeckt als in Fertigbrühe aus dem Glas gegart. KeinButtergeschmack- Brokkolis zwei kleine Blüten wobei eine Blüte gelb war in selbe Brühe wie der Reis gegart. Soße war eher eine Paste- nach Hinweis war es dem Kellner egal keine Entschuldigung- jemand anders hatte Pommes auch versalzen- jemand mit Bratkartoffeln in fett geschwommen in keinster Weise braun- Salat die Soße wurde vom Geschmack die Fertigsosse vom fertiges Glassalat genommen und natürlich etwas Salz noch dazu- usw. Usw. - leider kann man nicht weniger als ein Stern geben—- und dann so ein Essen nach über einer Stunde Wartezeit - nein Danke
