War ein sehr schöner Abend mit leckerem Essen. Salat war mal was anderes, Fleisch saftig und zart, die Dips waren selbst gemacht Sehr nette Bedienung

Sehr leckeres Essen, super freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service sowie ein schönes Ambiente. Die Lage zwischen den vielen Bäumen sorgt für eine tolle Atmosphäre. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder!

Wir haben einen schönen Abend mit Freunden dort verbracht. Mann kann sehr schön draußen sitzen. Das Personal ist super nett und freundlich. Das Essen war hervorragend. Obwohl es sehr voll war,mussten wir nicht lange warten. Dieses Lokal kann man nur weiterempfehlen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Das Ambiente ist insgesamt sehr schön, besonders die Natur rundherum lädt zum Verweilen ein. Leider hat das Essen nicht überzeugt. Das Putenfleisch war nicht zart und die teure Lammhüfte war sehr zäh und gummiartig. Die Beilage aus Karotten und Erbsenschoten war kalt und geschmacklos. Die Portion Pommes war eher klein, geschmacklich aber in Ordnung. Positiv war de Champignonsoße sie war wirklich lecker.

Wir haben sehr sympathische Menschen kennen gelernt. Das Essen war ein tolles Erlebnis. Ich mag die echte Gastfreundschaft

Ich war zu einem Abendessen mit Freunden im Schützenhaus. Man sitzt ganz schön draussen unter Bäumen, Parkplätze sind vorhanden. Der Service war freundlich und recht flott. Ich hatte Rinderleber, die war durchwachsen und eher zäh. Der Reis geschmacklos und der Salat viel zu ölig. Am ärgerlichsten fand ich, dass man nur mit Bargeld oder Sofortüberweisung! bezahlen konnte. Wir leben im 21.Jahrhundert. Das Hinweisschild darauf im Eingangsbereich ist nur nach genauem Suchen zu sehen.

Wir waren mit 10 Personen, haben draußen gesessen, da es sehr warm war an dem Tag. Wir haben alle zur gleichen Zeit unser Essen bekommen. Das Essen war sehr gut. Der Service war auch sehr nett und freundlich. Ich kann es nur weiterempfehlen.

Innerhalb eines halben Jahres haben wir das dritte Mal das Schützenhaus besucht. Ob in kleinen kreisen oder für große feiern ist das ambiente bestens ausgelegt, die Speisen sind sehr gut und der Service sehr freundliche.

Man kann leider nicht mit Karte zahlen - verstehe ich nicht. Dennoch: Unbedingt die Vor- und Nachspeisen probieren!

Rumpsteak sehr zu empfehlen, war sehr gut und nette Bedienung. Auch andere Gerichte waren schön auf dem Teller angerichtet. Das Lokal werden wir wieder besuchen. Im Sommer muss es im Biergarten sehr schön sein.

Essen ist sehr lecker und gut zubereitet die Portionen sind sehr groß . Die Bedienung ist sehr schnell und freundlich. In diesem Restaurant kann man sich richtig wohl fühlen. Empfehlungs Wert auf jeden Fall wenn jemand gut Essen will dann nur da. Wir freuen uns und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Nachdem ich jetzt wieder da war muss ich sagen stark gebessert. Kurve bekommen und das Essen wieder sehr gut. Hier kocht der Chef/Chefin wieder selbst und das schmeckt man. Bin froh darüber. Gut gemacht

Ist nicht mehr das, was es mal war.

Letztes Jahr waren wir in diesem Restaurant essen. Meine zweijährige Tochter malte auf dem Kindermenü, als die Bedienung mit unfreundlichem Ton kam und sagte: „Das kostet Geld. Das Kindermenü-Blatt ist ein stinkender normaler Flyer zur Kenntnis.“ Mein Mann bot an, die 2 € für den Flyer zu bezahlen, und fragte nach dem Inhaber. Die Bedienung lachte frech und sagte: „Ich bin die Ladeninhaberin.“ Ihr Verhalten ruinierte unseren Abend. Natürlich war unsere Laune danach im Keller, und das Essen war lauwarm und schmeckte anders als vor Jahren. Wir werden nicht mehr hingehen.

Habe meinen Geburtstag dort gefeiert und es war super alle Gäste waren sehr zufrieden Essen war sehr lecker Service sehr freundlich

Wir waren zu einem 70 Geburtstag eingeladen und für dass das Lokal brechen voll war und nur 2 damen im Service hat alles super geklappt .Das Essen war gut 👍 Der Service war 👍 und das Ambiente passte auch. Wir können es nur empfehlen Und werden mit Sicherheit wieder kommen.

Yesterday, we were a group of 19 at the Schützenhaus and were very satisfied. The only downside was the gyros, which was unfortunately almost cold. The service was excellent, and the staff was very friendly and attentive. Even though we had to change the number of people twice during the reservation process, including one change an hour before the event adding four more, they still managed to find a table for everyone, even though the restaurant was fully booked. We would love to come back again.

I didn't like the food or the service.

We waited about an hour for our food. Well, it was quite busy. Then only one of our three dishes arrived. When we asked if the rest were coming, we were told they'd forgotten, but it was basically our fault since we could have asked earlier. We finally got the bill after asking only three times… So, it was tasty, but we probably won't be back anytime soon.

Always a great visit. The service was very friendly and attentive. All the dishes were excellent.

Clubhouse atmosphere. The service was okay, although the staff could have been a bit warmer and more attentive. The appetizer platter was a joke for the price – the portion was far too small, and it basically consisted of nothing more than vine leaves, a few beans, cucumber, tomato, feta cheese, and pepperoni (not grilled). We then ordered grilled pepperoni separately. The grilled pepperoni could have used a bit more time on the grill, but at least the baguette was good. The main courses were a mixed bag: The rump steak and the gyros were quite decent. I had the Metaxa gyros with rice – unfortunately, it was inedible. The pieces of meat were cut far too thickly, the sauce was tasteless, and the rice was completely overcooked.

We've been going to the Schützenhaus on and off for 15 years, but the quality has declined significantly, and everything has gotten more expensive. We won't be eating there anymore.

The food wasn't particularly tasty. We went there often and it got worse and worse. And the price was excessive. Only 2 stars.

Unfortunately, it has declined considerably in recent years. Regarding the current visit: The service was very good at first, but then deteriorated over the course of the evening. The grilled meat on the Knossos platter was piled up in a tower, which seemed a bit clumsy, especially since everything was covered in an oily, reddish sauce. (I think that's standard here.) The pork steak was probably from the neck and therefore very fatty. It could have been grilled longer (it was quite spongy and mushy). Alternatively, you could also use the pork loin. The gyro was no longer crispy, so it was practically smothered under the tower. The meatballs were okay. The fries on the plate were almost as good as they come. Despite tipping, they don't even give you ouzo on the house anymore, which I haven't experienced at any Greek restaurant in Germany yet. It's a shame, because that used to be different...

We've been coming to the Schützenhaus restaurant for many years and usually make reservations with at least 2-4 to 8 people. We've also celebrated birthdays with 14 or more people. But today we had a waitress who pulled a face and was totally unfriendly. We had two farmer's plates and two chicken skewers with rice. The food came quickly, as always! But on one skewer, the meat was still raw in the middle. So, we pointed this out to the waitress in a friendly and polite manner. But she replied in a snippy tone, "Yes, then we'll put it on again!" And when the plate was returned: It had been re-arranged, but the meat was rubbery, just different from the other plate. We took turns trying it. The farmer's plate, on the other hand, was OK, but there were too few fries (15), ridiculously few. We also had to wait longer than usual to pay. Our complaint was simply dismissed. At least we didn't have to pay for this inedible skewer. We also found that very friendly and accommodating. However, this was the last visit for a very long time. Because we had the impression that we weren't welcome. Our friends and acquaintances feel the same way. Surely they don't mind a few people. But it's a no-go for regulars.

A restaurant located quite remotely. Very good value for money, unfortunately no culinary refinements, but solid.

During the hot summer months, this is one of our favorite places, where you can enjoy typical Greek dishes and always be full. The shady location in the forest is probably the most common reason for coming here. The service is really friendly, and the prices are really fair. Therefore, the restaurant is often fully booked. We recommend the restaurant for families and dog owners (outside seating).

Very satisfied. Friendly service, delicious food and a relaxed atmosphere. We ate outside. Great for children. The dog was there. We paid quickly and smoothly via online banking (immediate transfer when scanning a QR code). We repeat.

The location is nice, the service is okay, but the food is a complete disaster. I had baked sheep's cheese, it was just a mush, the calamari were just not grilled, tried a fork of the rice... Tried the beef liver from the person sitting next to me on her plate, she didn't eat it either... No thanks, never again!

Went here to eat with a group today and everything was very good. I haven't had such delicious tzatziki in a long time, but my mixed plate and my sweetheart's Metaxa Gyros were also very good. The meat was juicy and not grilled to death. Were very satisfied. I only deducted a star from the ambience because some wear and tear is visible on the chairs in the winter garden. Otherwise, I would definitely recommend the restaurant.

Good food and ambience on site. Unfortunately, when the meal was ordered to be picked up, the sauce was on top of the schnitzel, contrary to what was ordered. The whole thing is very muddy.

Had dinner here today on Easter Sunday with the family of 14 people. It was completely booked and we were prepared for a longer wait. I have to say, we were proven wrong. The three young women were very committed and also very friendly. The food also tasted very tasty so we were completely satisfied. This was our first visit, but definitely not the last. 5 stars – A real insider tip in Sandhausen! I was completely impressed by the Schützenhaus in Sandhausen! As soon as you enter, you immediately feel at home - the atmosphere is cozy, warm and authentic. The staff is extremely friendly, attentive and accommodating without seeming intrusive. The food was simply excellent: freshly prepared, lovingly presented and an absolute highlight in terms of taste. Basically I can recommend every meal. Greek specialties served with great attention to detail. The price-performance ratio is also great - here you get quality that impresses. Whether for a relaxed dinner, a family celebration or simply a nice evening with friends – the Schützenhaus is definitely worth a visit. I'll definitely come back.

Metaxa gyros (€16.80) from the Schützenhaus restaurant in Sandhausen. Fast, friendly service in a very busy restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere. Grilled pepperoni (€8.80) served as an appetizer, followed by a somewhat bland side salad. The gyros was delicious, the meat was excellent, and the portion was large, though a bit more seasoning would have been nice. All good for a fair price. In summer, it's definitely great to sit outside on the terrace at the edge of the forest. There's plenty of free parking, too. We enjoyed the evening; thanks for the ouzo, too. 🙂

If you would like delicious Greek food, this is the place for you. The portions are well grilled and very spicy. The salad that comes with it also completes the whole thing. Unfortunately the meat wasn't quite as warm, so one point was deducted, but otherwise it was great and at the end there was a delicious ouzo. If you like it very spicy, the devil's skewer is the right choice

The pepperoni was ok and the bread was unfortunately very soggy. For the main course we had bifteki that was still raw inside and a sirloin skewer that was so tough. We also had a mushroom cream sauce with the fries that was totally gritty and mushy with no taste. It's a shame when we complained about the food to the unfriendly waitress, she was very rude and snotty and said that bifteki was seasoned with paprika and that's why it looked like that! An appropriate reaction would have been we're sorry, would you like something else instead she said loudly that our sauces are homemade. Never again very bad Greek and poor quality.
