The best wines and food were served to me in a pleasant and courteous manner... 🌟 I'd be happy to come back... 😉 P.S.: after the first glass... the ambience also got a 5 from me 🌟...

Super friendly, attentive service! The food (starter: tartar sauce / main course: shrimp with risotto) was incredibly delicious. Very well seasoned, with a perfect texture, and the portion size was more than adequate! The price is on the mid-to-upper side, but it's definitely worth it! A large selection of regional and international wines - 5 stars here too! My only criticism (my own, but that's complaining at a high level) - the food was perfect, as was the service and the drinks. But please, please, get a decent coffee machine - with this level of food, espresso shouldn't come from a fully automatic machine! A good portafilter machine doesn't cost the earth and is also easy to use - it simply rounds off a successful evening that little bit better!

Phenomenal value for money. A three-course daily menu for €50 and a fantastic wine list with fair prices. And all this despite the fact that we spontaneously arrived 15 minutes before the kitchen closed. Very friendly service, a lovely ambiance, an absolute recommendation.

The service was above average! Unfortunately, the food, when choosing a starter and a main course, wasn't adequately sized and was therefore too much! That shouldn't happen in a restaurant of this price range!

We've lived in the Vogelsberg region for three years, and our positive experience with Schubert's Restaurant has been around for about the same amount of time. Not only did we celebrate our wedding here, but we've also become regular guests at the restaurant. One thing we particularly love, apart from the excellent food, is the incredibly great service. The staff love what they do and regularly welcome us as regular customers should – that's exactly why we love being guests here so much. A highly recommended recommendation!

Food, sleep, ambience and friendliness top..gladly again

Privately run romantic hotel with Hessian charm. Friendly, attentive, and personable staff. Very small menu that unfortunately doesn't change often. No exceptional dishes on the menu.

First-class food – Schuberts is rightly recommended by the Michelin Guide. The service, however, left something to be desired. While very friendly, the appetizers arrived before we'd even finished half the aperitif. There was complete helplessness when we asked for a wine recommendation to accompany our meal: "Which grape varieties do you like? You're welcome to try the wines by the glass beforehand." It's a shame, because the wine list (with a strong focus on German wines) is excellently curated (especially the white wines). Those who know what they're looking for will find treasures here at truly reasonable prices. A sommelier would be a valuable addition to the team. In conclusion: despite the shortcomings in service, the high quality of the food and the excellent wine list make it definitely worth a visit (and a detour).

As part of our hotel stay, we had dinner at Schuberts. The four-course menu left nothing to be desired. The taste was excellent and the portion sizes were refreshingly normal for fine dining. The price (approx. €60 per person including wine pairing) was absolutely reasonable for the outstanding service from the kitchen and staff. I would eat here again anytime.

The quality here justifies the price. Absolute recommendation. Lunch is a price hit! Always tasty, always friendly, that's how it has to be!

What is particularly worth mentioning is the quality and presentation of the various dishes. They are above average and justify the increased price. It's worth it.

Fischteller war sehr gut. Die vegetarische Auswahl ist regelrecht miserabel. Ein gutes Restaurant überzeugt halt nicht nur durch Fleisch. Daher nur vier Punkte.

Sehr schönes Ambiente, leckeres Essen, tolle Weinbegleitung und zuvorkommender Service. Hier passt alles! Auf Allergien bzw. Unverträglichkeiten wurde Rücksicht genommen. Kommen gerne wieder

Ein bemerkenswerter Abend war das zur Feier unseres Hochzeitstags: Sensationell die Küche, ein grandioses Feuerwerk an Aromen! Eine gleichermaßen fachkundige wie freundliche Sommeliere (Frau Baus?) hatte zu jedem der 5 Gänge eine passende Weinidee, köstlich. Eine Übernachtung im großen, schönen Themenzimmer rundete das Erlebnis ab. Wir kommen hoffentlich wieder.
