Rating refers only to the restaurant. After a few years I finally found my way to Entringen again and was looking forward to a delicious dinner. For starters we had the Maultaschen and Flädle soup and for the main course we had the Hawaiian schnitzel with fries and the roast beef with pepper sauce and croquettes. The side salad came before the soups, but the taste was okay. The soups were really very good, especially the broth. The main course was rich, but not outstanding in terms of taste. The schnitzel lacked flavor and the sauce for the roast was more like a white roux than a cream sauce. The roast was cooked to perfection and medium rare as ordered. The service was friendly but not really present. It is therefore not possible to order additional drinks or salt and pepper for the schnitzel. In total we paid €66.60 including 2 drinks, which is completely fine considering the portion size.

Restaurant is nicely decorated. The waitresses are very nice and the schnitzel oasis really blows you away. Nobody can complain about portions that are too small. This restaurant is also unbeatable in terms of price/performance ratio.

It's a shame there are only 5 stars, as always very tasty and super friendly team. Eating out is also possible, quick and easy.

Very good schnitzel and a cozy beer garden that invites you to linger

We were too far into schnitzel paradise to convince ourselves☺️. The beer garden/terrace is awesome😃 made cozy. The staff is attentive and friendly. The schnitzels are mega and NOT ☝️ for the small appetite. The XXL schnitzel is delicious and yet intense for one person 😉. Otherwise, I can only recommend making a reservation there on the weekend if the weather is nice. In terms of price, everything is absolutely right and worth the money.

Unfortunately, the service wasn't that good - it was poorly organized and often ran "empty" to the beer garden or back. It all took a very long time. The cutlery didn't come until about 5 minutes after the meal. There were young men/young people hanging around in front of the restaurant. They were probably friends/acquaintances of the service staff. That's probably why they weren't there for the guests. The location outside in the beer garden is very nice. The food was delicious. The vegetarian selection is very manageable. Nothing is vegan.

Large restaurant with home-style food, some in XXL portions. The meat and the side dishes were of good quality, unfortunately the sauces were a bit watery, so the bang was missing. The service was nice and friendly, the drinks were cold and served quickly. The food was also prepared relatively quickly.

As expected! Typical dishes cooked very well. Really excellent meat. Fast and friendly waiters! Definitely try the famous XXL cutlet!! It's not a starred restaurant so don't expect well-prepared tables. But in these places you go for the conviviality and you don't look at these things. Good food and good beer. That's for sure. Good prices for the quality of the food served. And then in summer it is pleasant to eat in the garden.

A truly exceptional restaurant, with a family welcome and unique quality. A few km from Tubingen, a perfect place to try German cuisine. Great parking facilities, really affordable prices compared to other restaurants and generous portions. A super positive surprise. Really recommended.

Very nice and traditional Swabian restaurant. Schnitzel is first class. Very large portion of schnitzel. Hunter sauce was also delicious. Large portions of cheese spaetzle were served. Very close to Entringen train station. Parking space available. Outdoor and indoor seating area available. Very friendly staff.

I recently visited Schnitzelparadies and absolutely loved it! The restaurant offers a cozy atmosphere that is perfect for a relaxing evening with family and friends. The highlight of the evening was of course the schnitzel. The selection of different types of schnitzel and side dishes is impressive. I tried the classic Wiener Schnitzel, which was perfectly breaded and fried to perfection. The portion was generous and the meat was tender and juicy. The side dishes were also excellent, especially the fried potatoes and homemade potato salad. The service was friendly and attentive. Our waiter gave us good advice and was always there without being intrusive. Wait times were short and the food was served hot and fresh. The price-performance ratio is absolutely right here. The prices are more than fair for the quality and size of the portions. Overall, a thoroughly successful evening. I can only recommend the Schnitzelparadies and will definitely come back

It's nice that something like this still exists. Delicious, Swabian, home-style cuisine at top prices. First address for schnitzel and Maultaschen, absolutely outstanding. The portions are absolutely sufficient even for those who are very hungry. Very friendly service, great family business, highly recommended.

Waited in line for 5 minutes when reserving a table. Football results were exchanged in the background. I had simply been forgotten. After calling again there was an apology - but something like that simply shouldn't happen. The food was mediocre. The flatbread soup was very good, the roast roast was rather “okay”. It will stay with this one visit

Depending on the session there is delicious regional asparagus!!! Delicious and recommended 😋!! What I can also recommend are the schnitzels!!

Schmutzig, kein Toilettenpapier! Kaputtes Geschirr mit Macken. Wir aßen Eisbecher auf der Terrasse und als diese gebracht wurden, war alles verkleckert. Auf unsere Bitte hin nach Servietten hieß es: oh Mann, wir haben hier genug zu laufen, dann gehen Sie doch rein. Beim bezahlen, ewig darauf gewartet, bis mal ein Kellner kam, gab es keinen Kassenbon, nur eine komplettsumme, die ich zu glauben hatte. Vor 30 Jahren zuletzt da gewesen. Damals wars noch ein toller Familienbetrieb, heute hat „das Schmoll“ leider total nachgelassen….

The food was good but the service wasn't very good as his standard comment was "Sorry, I forgot that". We had an eggshell in the breading of the schnitzel and the schnitzel came without any side dish. When the side dishes came, the schnitzel was already cold. And in front of the restaurant there were young men who cheaply hit on my 14 year old daughter. So we're definitely not going there anymore.

The review refers only to the restaurant. The food at Schmoll is particularly impressive because of the size of the portions (plate-sized schnitzels). It also tastes good and the prices are fair, even if they are no longer up to date on the website. It's nicer to sit outside than inside. In general, it is advisable to make a reservation because it is almost always busy.

I haven't eaten German so well in a long time😍 The price-performance ratio is very good because not only are the dishes very high quality and tasty, the portions are also really huge, so almost all of us have the leftovers with us Took it home😅 I can highly recommend the schnitzels and the Maultaschen are also really great. I used the Maultaschen in Tübingen sauce, which is similar to Hollandaise sauce but cheesier. The dish was really powerful and my cholesterol level was definitely at an all-time high afterward, but it was just fantastically delicious😅😍 The beer was also very good and the service was very friendly🥰 Anytime again😁

Food was good as always. Very long wait for desert and addl.drinks have not been offered after the first round. One server worked in sports attire, this does not seem suitable for a restaurant to me.

There is enough parking space at the train station and along the street. Payment possible by card or cash. Staff friendly. Plenty of seating in the restaurant in different rooms. Such a real village pub. High chair for children available. Brilliant! Reservation makes sense. Food and drinks are brought quickly. Good home cooking with a focus on Maultaschen, schnitzel and onion roast. Warning: Huge portions. Very good price/performance ratio.

- the food was good and everyone enjoyed it - the XXL portions are also good and nice to look at in terms of price/performance ratio - the cordon bleu was unusual (ham/cheese is placed on the schnitzel) but understandable and possibly limited by the size of the deep fryer and it was on the menu in the Schmollinger style. So it worked out. - The staff was friendly, although not attentive - the table in the middle of the room, next to the cloakroom, was extremely bad and you felt unpleasantly watched even though half of the tables at the edge were still free and even when you went home they were still free or not set at all! - we sat at the table right next to the cloakroom in the middle of the dining room. There was a bit of a drag and we had to listen to all the conversations of the waiters/workers in the serving area. Unfortunately, one of them has an unusual voice and therefore it was doubly impossible to ignore. It doesn't matter if he had a discussion with his colleague and he said it was always his fault anyway. That the electricians on construction would have it much better because they don't get dirty and get €5 more per hour and it would be relaxed to work on construction and a few other topics. Please spare the guests from such loud, disruptive and incorrect discussions. Rarely have we tried harder to eat quickly and left the restaurant annoyed and rushed... so pleasant conversation was not possible at our table For these reasons we would not recommend the restaurant.

What a pity, I've been going to the Schmoll restaurant for years because I was very satisfied! For 1 year the service, food and friendliness have decreased enormously! The service staff becomes unfriendly with every visit and sometimes they point out that you should pay now because the next guests are waiting. For me that was close to being kicked out. The restaurant is no longer comfortable at all, but there is a mass processing here. The staff or employees there still have a lot of advances from previous years. But this will certainly take its toll in the coming times. I predict bad times for the restaurant in the future!

Super Essen und super Service und Preise!!!!

Die Kalbsschnitzel sind der Hammer, großen Hunger mitbringen, die Portionen sind enorm👍🏽

waren heute zum 1. mal dort. bedienung war freundlich und bemüht. wir saßen im nebenraum und dort war der fußboden so dermaßen schmutzig.. überall alte essensreste, schmieriger boden - echt eklig. essen war auch mehr schlecht als recht.. lauwarme flädlesuppe, fertigsalat und das schnitzel war auch kein gaumenschmauß.. toiletten waren auch nicht allzu sauber. wir kommen leider nicht wieder.

Ein tolles Café Lokal... Essen sehr lecker... Nur der Service lässt zu wünschen übrig. Ein Bier bestellt wurde berechnet es wurde aber nicht gebracht.. Habe es dann doch gesagt das es ich nicht bekommen habe. Tisch abräumen auch nicht so perfekt. Aber man muss sagen das wie gesagt das Essen doch sehr lecker war. Auch wen unsere Begleitung das falsche Gericht bekommen haben.

Solide, ehrliche, schwäbische Küche zu sehr attraktiven Preisen und riesigen Portionen, auch bei den Normalen. Wir waren mit mehreren Personen zum Mittagessen im Restaurant Schmoll. Es wurden von den Hauptgerichten, Zwiebelrostbraten, verschiedene Schnitzelvariationen (inkl. der XL Variante) und Maultaschen gewählt. IdR ist es ja so, dass es meist qualitativ schlecht bestellt ist in Lokalitäten welche große und XL Portionen zu Ihrem Credo machen. Dies ist im Schmoll keineswegs so, die Soßen die wir hatten waren hausgemacht, das Fleisch war zart, weder fettig noch knorpelig und der Garpunkt hat jeweils gepasst. Geschmacklich, in Sachen Würzung, hätte noch etwas mehr Wums rein können, aber das ist Geschmackssache. Nettes, freundliches Personal in einer einfachen, gutbürgerliche Gaststube haben den Positiven Eindruck unterstrichen. Für mich wäre es absolut i.O. wenn die Preise um 10% höher wären, gute Leistung soll gerne fair vergütet werden.

Super leckeres Essen! Frisch zubereitet. Die Kroketten waren knusprig und schmackhaft. Die Schnitzel sind wirklich groß und es gibt eine sehr große Auswahl an gut bürgerlicher Küche! Preislich mehr als fair! Absolut empfehlenswert :)

Einfache Gaststätte mit gutem und preiswertem Essen.

Trotz viel Betrieb und ohne Tischreservierung haben wir letzten Sonntag schnell einen Tisch für 3 Personen bekommen. Das Personal wirkt trotz vielen Gästen nicht gestresst und tut seinen (guten!) Job souverän und freundlich. Getränke wie Speisen wurden schnell aufgenommen und auch serviert. Die Portionen sind riesig - kaum zu schaffen. Man darf seine "nicht geschaffte" Portion mitnehmen, wofür kleine Plastikbehälter bereitstehen. Alles in Allem - 5 Sterne und Danke!

Guten Tag Schmoll-Team. Wir sind aus Lörrach (schweizer/französischer Grenze) und waren mit der Familie vergangene Woche zum Essen bei Ihnen. Hervorragende Küche ,sowohl qualitativ als auch die Portionen. Solche Restaurants findet man leider nur noch selten. Die ältere Dame hat mir noch berichtet, dass sie Kontakte hat/hatte nach Badenweiler. Von mir und meiner ganzen Familie ein dickes Lob oder besser gesagt Chapeau

Leider muss man an den Wochenenden deinen Tisch nach 1,5 Std räumen ,das fand ich recht ungemütlich !

Hatten reserviert für 2 Personen nach telefonischer Absprache auf 19.00 Uhr. Man setzt uns zu zwei fremden ohne nach der Einverständnis zu fragen. Nach Freiwerden eines anderen Tisches wurde uns dieser verwehrt da wir nur 2 Personen sind und man dafür keinen großen Tisch „Opfern“ kann und es ja schließlich Sonntag sei, meinte der Chef in unfreundlichem Ton. War früher wirklich mal ein gutes Lokal aber ist mittlerweile mit der eigenen Lage überfordert.

Hervorragendes Essen. Die zwei Punkte Abzug gibt es für die leider für die nicht optimale Sauberkeit. So waren zum Beispiel schon mehrfach die Tischdecken verschmutzt oder noch Krümel auf dem Tisch. An der Hygiene/Sauberkeit kann definitiv noch einiges gemacht werden!

Ein Resaurant und Café beim Bahnhof.Sehr gut besucht.Pakplätze sind dort rar.In dem schmalen Seitenweg könnten die Fahrzeuge abgeschleppt werden.Gartenresaurant ist auch dabei.Das Essen aber ist einfach super .Sehr große Portionen für Leute mit gutem Appetit und die Preise dafür sind auch noch moderat. Der Service war an dem Tag freundlich und aufmerksam obwohl sie Personalmangel hatten.Das Lokal/ Resaurant kann man nur weiterempfehlen .

Das beste Geschnetzelte meines Lebens! Ich werde definitiv wieder kommen! Super freundlich, toller Service, tolle Lage, gute Parkmöglichkeiten ansonsten ein Katzensprung vom Bahnhof, Preis Leistung unschlagbar für die Riesen Portionen.

Haben Essen geholt, daß war sehr lecker und große Portionen, da wird jeder satt! Die Lage ist sehr schön und der Biergarten auch. Sehr gerne wieder, wenn wir in der Nähe sind 👍

Das Essen war sehr lecker und war wirklich eine XXL Portion. Das XXL Rahmschnitzel und das XXL Cordon Bleu war super lecker und der Rest wurde davon mitgenommen. Leider war der Service nicht so gut wir haben sehr lange warten müssen zum bezahlen. Am Ende habe ich auch sehr laut gerufen "zahlen bitte", weil auf Blickkontakt wird nicht beim Gast geschaut (Wir wurden wirklich von allen angeschaut). Viele sind nach uns gekommen und vor uns auch wieder gegangen (das sollte bei einem leeren Tisch nicht passieren). Der Tisch wurde nicht abgeräumt und auch nicht gefragt ob wir noch was haben wollen. Ohne selbst laut zu werden wird man nur am Anfang bedient. Was super ist und viel wert, dass auf Kritik eingegangen wird. Der Service kann noch etwas an sich arbeiten.

Schlechteste Eiskarte, die ich lange gesehen habe. 45 Minuten auf einen Sprudel gewartet - das bei wenigen Gästen.

Schöner Biergarten. Leider waren die Maultaschen längst nicht so gut wie früher. Vielleicht hatten wir nur Pech und es war an dem Tag ein anderer Koch da ? Die Sauce war gar nichts. Wir waren enttäuscht.

Super leckere schwäbische Küche. Wegen der großen Nachfrage leider bei gutem Wetter und am Wochenende stark nachgefragt. Reservierung sehr empfehlenswert.

Schöne große Portionen zu fairen Preisen

Restaurant liegt sehr Ruhig in einer Seitenstraße mit schattigen Biergarten der sich gegenüber vom Restaurant befindet. Das Essen ist sehr lecker 😋 mit großen Portionen. Hier stimmt auch noch das Preis Leistungs Verhältnis. Zwischenmenschlich stimmt es auch im Team und das macht auch eine ganz lockere Atmosphäre. Großes Gesamtlob und ich kann das Restaurant nur weiterempfehlen. Ich stell kein Foto rein, da Ihr das selbst erleben solltet .

Die Terrasse ist angenehm um im Sommer draußen zu essen. Das Personal war wirklich sehr freundlich und kompetent. Die Portionen sind groß, Preis Leistung passt hier gut. Dazu war das Schnitzel und die Beilagen sehr lecker.
