Absolutely phenomenal! The restaurant treats its meat with genuine care – perfectly seasoned, incredibly tender, and bursting with flavor. Great service, a cozy atmosphere, and dishes that truly stand out. Highly recommended!

Last week, we curiously visited the restaurant. We were curious because we had previously ordered delicious Bolinhos and Coxinhas online from the same restaurant and were very satisfied (that was from "Brazukas" in Kitzingen). We received a friendly welcome and were shown to a lovely table. The ambiance is beautiful, a successful blend of the historic building and modern elements and presentation. The menu offers a good selection of dishes, including schnitzel (also vegan), fish and beef, salads, and desserts. The drinks range from beer (including three Brazilian varieties), sangria, and very tasty cocktails to homemade fresh juices and lemonades. Of course, they also offer soft drinks, wines, whiskeys, and hot beverages such as coffees and teas. I opted for the picanha, grilled beef with beans, rice, salad, and a homemade sauce. A large plate arrived beautifully presented. The meat was cooked to perfection and incredibly delicious. The beans were perfectly seasoned, and the salad was a vibrant mix of colors. I can absolutely recommend this dish. The portion was too large for me and would definitely satisfy a hearty eater. Since I couldn't quite finish the main course, dessert was unfortunately out of the question. A real shame, because what I saw my friends and other guests enjoying their meals promised a truly delicious experience. That will just have to wait until my next visit. I had a Caipirinha – large, strong, and delicious. My latte macchiato was also excellent. Everyone at the table thoroughly enjoyed their food and drinks. Our server was very attentive, and we felt very comfortable. The temperature in the restaurant was also perfect for me – not too warm, but not too cold either. It was a wonderful end to a busy day. Now that my daughter lives in Würzburg, we're already looking forward to visiting again. And I'm sure we'll be back at the castle many more times. There's still so much we'd love to try. Today we (finally 😅) visited the Schloss Café & Restaurant in the beautiful historic old town of Marktbreit. It's been on our to-do list for a while. We weren't disappointed and will definitely be back. I couldn't have made the mojito better, and the burgers, fries, schnitzel, and salad were also absolutely delicious 🤩

We received a very friendly welcome and hospitality, even though our hiking group of nine people and two dogs were soaking wet. Thank you.

On the way back from vacation, I stumbled into the castle cafe more by chance, but I was by no means disappointed. I had the Brazilian picanha, and it was simply fantastic: beautifully presented, delicious, and absolutely plentiful. One star is due to the long wait (about 40 minutes), but everything was fresh. TOP!

We were actually looking for three other restaurants. But they're all closed on Friday lunchtimes. But it's a big surprise how good the "Schloss Marktbreit Café und Restaurant" is. The restaurant has only been open since May. Perhaps that's why. The current rating of 4.1 doesn't reflect the current status. The food took a relatively long time to arrive. But it's definitely worth it. The salads are delicious. The fries are excellent. The spaghetti sauce was freshly made. The waitress is helpful and professional. Everything is perfect :)

I can't really rate the food, as we didn't get any. After waiting almost an hour and a half for two salads, we finally called it quits and left. The service was abysmal, and despite asking, we weren't given a reason for the delay.

Very generous, delicious portions. A nice mix of Franconian and Brazilian cuisine. The best French fries I've had in a long time, or even ever. Super friendly and uncomplicated staff.

In the town's main square, there's a large terrace, and it was lovely. The food we ordered was delicious. The girl who served us was super nice, and when she saw we were struggling to speak German, she spoke to us in English.

Wonderful fresh salad with a delicate dressing! The main courses were delicious and well-prepared. Freshly tapped beer and a selection of wines—we were very satisfied overall and can recommend it.

We were there this afternoon. Absolutely delicious cakes, waffles, and cappuccino. We sat outside. The two waitresses outside were very attentive and friendly, even though it was very busy and they were both very busy. I find it a shame that some of the customers behind us were just complaining and grumbling, like everywhere these days, unfortunately. People really can't wait five minutes. I find that impossible; the staff really tried very hard. At some point, no one should be surprised when there are even fewer staff in jobs like this. Keep up the good work and don't let it annoy you :)

We happened upon it by chance while passing through. Three years ago, we were in Brazil, so after we sat down, we were happy to accidentally land back in Rio :) The food was great, the service was incredibly friendly, the prices were relatively reasonable, and the guarana soda from the little shop inside made it perfect. If it weren't so far from home, we'd come back. Thanks

I was very disappointed. We went there to eat on Mother's Day. We had to wait 30 minutes for the drinks and then another almost an hour for the food. Not good in taste. Steak was swimming in oil and I think the schnitzel was frozen mass produced. Won't be eating there anymore. The whole family didn't like it. Even the children left their food behind because spaghetti with an indefinable sauce. 1x and not again.

Sowas haben wir schon lange nicht mehr erlebt… Wir waren zu dritt an einem Freitagmittag um 14 Uhr da. Allein im Gastraum, zwei Kellnerinnen und ein Mann (Chef?). Schon bei der Aufnahme der Getränke ging die plötzlich Kellnerin wortlos und fuchtelte mit ihrem Gerät in der Luft herum (schlechter Empfang?). Jedenfalls bestätigte sie nichts. Danach erschien der Mann und eröffnete uns, dass der eigentliche Koch nicht da sei und man nur Schnitzel, Salate und Dessert servieren könne. Dann stritten sich die Kellnerinnen lautstark, wie die Getränke zuzubereiten seien. Zwei der drei Getränke kamen dann nach zehn Minuten, das dritte fünf Minuten später. Bestellt haben wir dann Kinderschnitzel, Cessar Salad und eine Waffel mit Erdbeeren. Das Schnitzel kam nach etwa einer halben Stunde, der Salat fünf Minuten danach, die Waffel weitere zehn Minuten später. Wohlgemerkt, wir waren die einzigen Göste, eine Überlastung der Küche ausgeschlossen. Die Pommes waren gut, das Schnitzel aber trocken und sehr wahrscheinlich Convenience Food. Der Salat war vielleicht inspiriert von einem Ceasar Salad, allerdings suchte man den Romana Salat vergebens, ebenso Sardellen und Parmesan. Das Hühnchen war paniert, und die Sauce eine Allerweltssauce aus der Tüte, die mit Ceasar Salad nix am Hut hatte. Die Waffel war zwar gut, konnte das Fiasko aber auch nicht mehr retten.

Very good newly opened restaurant with Brazilian cuisine! The meat was very tasty and you should be hungry to eat it all. In the afternoon there are great home-baked cakes, some of which are Portuguese style. All in all, highly recommended!

Very good Brazilian food. Special children's meals for children. Family friendly. We'd love to come back.

The café has just opened. We were there today with a wheelchair and stroller and wanted to thank the owners again for their helpfulness and friendliness! The coffee was very good, and there was a great and delicious selection of cakes, tarts, and Brazilian delicacies! We had a lovely afternoon there and will be back!

A newly opened café that we discovered by chance while passing through. Tables were placed outside especially for us so that we could enjoy the sunshine on the forecourt. Not only was the service great, the cake and sandwiches are also highly recommended.

Excellent sauerbraten! So delicious with a real and honest sauce, never had it outside. Thank you! My husband's Kasspatzen were also very good. We were absolutely satisfied, it was very nice and the price-performance ratio was also very good. You don't find that often these days.

There were two of us there on a bike tour from Gemünden and they turned us away at lunchtime, even though over half of the tables were unoccupied. Hospitality is different

We had a very good lunch here. Service was very attentive without being intrusive. Price-performance is balanced and ok, payment is also possible with a card, but it's still complicated - you have to come to the counter "right now".

Spontan entschlossen wir uns etwas essen zu gehen. Die Karte überzeugte uns mit einer feinen Auswahl von Gerichten. Leckere Speisen, auch aus der Region. Das Essen war sehr gut. Das Bier schmeckte auch. Einzig die Musikauswahl wäre schöner gewesen, wenn es dezente Hintergrundmusik wäre. Vielleicht passend zum Ambiente. Jedoch hatte das nette Lächeln der Bedienung es wieder gut gemacht. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Leider wird das Restaurant Ende Dezember geschlossen.

Erstkontakt nicht so toll. Ob wir nur etwas trinken wollen, weil zu essen gibt es nichts mehr, und das am Sonntag Abend um 18:00 Uhr. Wir sind direkt wieder gegangen.

Schlossrestaurant...puh, mir fehlen die Worte!!! Bevor ihr euch hinsetzt, solltet ihr schauen ob noch leere Gläser auf dem Tisch stehen... Andernfalls könnte es unschön werden, auch Tische etwas in den Schatten ziehen wird dort nicht gern gesehen!!! Ich kann nur von der einen jungen Dame vom Service sprechen, aber Deeskalation ist nicht ihre Stärke... Auf die Bemerkung hin, dass sie auch freundlicher aus nicht gern gesehenes Verhalten reagieren könnte, wurden wir tatsächlich gefragt wo denn jetzt unser Problem wäre! Wenn man die Rezessionen durchsieht, erkennt man schnell, dass auch mit anderen Gästen so umgegangen wird! Die personalführung sollte dringend überdacht werden! Übrigens waren wir nicht die einzigen die innerhalb von 5 Minuten vergrault wurden.... Aber nicht schlimm... Zitat Kellnerin (lautstark, sodass die übrigen Gäste es nicht überhören konnten!) : mir egal wenn sie gehen, in 5 Minuten ist der Tisch wieder besetzt!!! Da fühlt man sich als Gast so richtig wohl!!!!

Leider etwas überfordert im Sevice. Scheinbar Personalmangel. Eine Reservierung für den Abend war leider nicht möglich. Sehr gerne hätte ich mich an der großen Auswahl an Torten und Kuchen versucht. Schade, dass es nicht mehr geklappt hat.

Wir waren am 23.05.2023 zum Mittagessen gewesen und fanden es ganz ok , nur der männliche Part vom Service sollte mal eine Schulung besuchen wie man mit Gästen umgeht.

Man sitzt wirklich schön. Leider könnte der Service besser sein. Wir würden nicht einmal gefragt, ob wir was Essen möchten. Haben bezahlt und sind wo anders hin.

Ресторант с богато готвено меню, от немска кухня, който се на мира на брега на река Майн във Вюрцбург. Има страхотна панорамна гледка към двата замъка. Природата е невероятна. Храната е отлична и се сервира топла. Разполагат с натурални лимонади. Имат разнообразие от прясно изпечени, немски сладкиши, които се сервират с купичка сладко. Имат и много напитки. Вообще, богато и вкусно меню с бързо обслужване.

Waren heute mit 6 Personen zum Testessen dort . Erste Klasse!!! Zuerst Kaffee und Torte frisch und sehr gut. Dann Abendessen fränkisch toll. Wir hatten unter anderem Schnitzel in der Pfanne gebraten 👍Salat Top kein Fertigdressing! Service freundlich und nett. Sauberkeit im Lokal👍Preise ok. Bitte weiter so werden dieses Lokal weiter empfehlen !!!! 👏👏👏und kommen wieder!!!

Wurden positiv überrascht. Es war sehr schmackhaft und alles frisch zubereitet. Änderungswünsche wurden gerne übernommen. Service freundlich. Ambiente kann sich sehen lassen.

Liebe Gäste - durch Zufall hier gelandet - tolles Steak - tolles Hubertus - wir kommen wieder wenn wir hier sind. Wer nörgelt hat noch nicht selber gekocht 😂

Wir waren hier auf der Durchreise und haben Kaffee getrunken und einen Kuchen gegessen. Leider muss man sagen, dass trotz Empfehlung von Einheimischen das Café nicht zu empfehlen ist... der Apfelkuchen hatte leider mehr Gelatine als Äpfel und war nicht besonders lecker. Der Preis war ok. Trotzdem schade. Keine Weiterempfehlung!
