"Rustic Meets Sophistication" The Franconian Hof in Marktbreit impresses not only with its Mediterranean flair. The stunningly beautiful beer garden, as well as the lovingly decorated restaurant, invites you to linger. The partly rustic style makes the ambiance incredibly cozy. Thus, the foundation for a wonderful evening was laid. The evening was supported and accompanied by truly outstanding service. Here, they truly focus on service and strive to provide guests with a small experience. Attentive, but not intrusive. Skilled and competent. The wine selection and drinks menu itself is extremely well thought out and, over the course of the evening, provides a true culinary delight. The kitchen is very knowledgeable in its craft, which is also suggested by the size of the menu. A real eye-catcher in both taste and appearance. The dishes reflect the simplicity of cooking, with the emphasis on fine dining. Modern and stylish, without forgetting the classics. If it weren't for the short distance of around 450 km, the Franconian Hof would be my new local. The price-performance ratio is also simply spot on. All in all, the evening can truly be summed up in three words: "Rustic meets sophistication"! Many thanks to the entire team for a truly successful evening.

After the "dream tour" (an 11km hike near Marktbreit), we stopped off at the beer garden at the Fränkischer Hof. The food was excellent, as were the local beers, and the service and ambiance were outstanding. Highly recommended.

Very friendly service staff, good food and great ambience

There were five of us dining. It was an experience! The dishes tasted excellent and were beautifully presented. The steak tartare was served at our table by a wonderful trainee. We had a wonderful time and a wonderful evening. Excellent value for money. Many thanks to the entire team, especially the young trainees.

Franconian, relaxed, sympathetic

The food was really good. The prices are on the higher side. The service was always friendly and attentive. We'd love to come back.

If I weren't already married, I'd propose to the chef right away. We've been to the Franconian Court several times over the past year, and the food has always been outstanding—Franconian with a twist. Whether it was duck with rosemary sauce or gratinated schnitzel with leek and bacon in the fall, or Thai-style asparagus salad or pike-perch with potato foam in early summer, it was so delicious every time that we couldn't limit ourselves to just one main course each evening, but each had three courses. Not because we were still hungry, but because it was so delicious. The drinks and wine list is very select without being elitist, and there are changing wines, beers, and specials, such as blackberry rosemary spritz with homemade syrup. The ambiance inside is Franconian and cozy without being old-fashioned. The highlight is the outdoor area with a fountain and a giant chestnut tree. The service is completely untypically Franconian: very friendly, extremely attentive, and personable.

Ask for prices in advance if they're not on the menu. I had a salad plate (green lettuce, 2 small tomatoes, 3 mozzarella balls) with chicken strips: it was billed as a "kitchen special" for €20.50... completely overpriced!

You can eat and drink very tasty here. The distance rules are well implemented, but at these times when an innkeeper is dependent on every seat, you should cancel by phone if the number of guests on the reservation changes. Thumbs up again for the good food.

Absolute highlight. I had pork cheeks and beef tartare. Both excellent.

Came here on the recommendation of Vinotel Bernhard – and it was a hit! A really great tip. The team is great: attentive, friendly and with real passion for what they do. The dishes are tasteful, creative and sometimes cleverly reinterpreted. I felt completely welcome and would love to come back!

Two or three weeks ago we spontaneously had a meal at the Fränkischer Hof during the week. The food was excellent, it definitely went beyond home cooking! The service was obviously professional and always, but unobtrusively, concerned about its guests. We also had a homemade drink, the name of which I can't remember. Raspberry rosemary spritz? Kind of like that. This was so unexpectedly delicious. Unfortunately, we didn't treat ourselves to any more of the schnapps and liqueur bar in the barrel, but that was also very nice to look at and made us want to try it out. There was a small bookshelf for the children, so the three girls were already taken care of. I would like to deduct half a star for the ambience as we sat by the door and it was a bit drafty. Maybe there is a happier solution to this? On the other hand, a point deduction would simply be undeserved. So it remains: direct hit - we'll be back! PS: The beer garden was in hibernation, but in the photos it looked very inviting and you could easily imagine the charm, especially with the many herbs in the forecourt.

Totally run down and not comfortable. Food wasn't that special either and side dishes were forgotten. Also extremely expensive for what you get. The friendliness of the staff also leaves a lot to be desired.

It was our first time here, but not the last. The interior is spacious and comfortable. The service was great, as was all of the food. Reordering was no problem. Simply pure enjoyment from the first to the last course. Many thanks to the entire team!

The two of us were there with our one-year-old son and were warmly welcomed by the host himself and the team. A nice selection of regional and seasonal dishes and drinks is offered (the wine list is also highly recommended). At no time did we feel out of place with our little one. The service in general was really great! The food was beautifully prepared, with autumnal ingredients (pumpkin and mushrooms) and we both enjoyed it very much. We particularly liked the dessert. Absolute recommendation and hopefully see you again soon!

We have been here several times, absolutely fantastic food, first-class service and an atmosphere that invites you to linger. The beer garden outside is particularly nice in the summer months. There is always a great selection of food with great fresh, high quality and regional ingredients. The service team is also extremely courteous and always absolutely polite. We would definitely like to come back.

Wir hatten uns auf ein Abendessen einem der idylischten Gaststätten von Marktbreit gefreut. Der Gastgarten war voll, wir waren pünktlich um 19 Uhr an unserem reservierten Tisch und bekamen bis 19.25 Uhr keine Getränke- Speisekarte, obwohl wir eine der beiden Servicekräfte viermal darum gebeten hatten. Stattdessen wurden später gekommene Gäste am Nachbartisch bedient. Wir erhielten allerdings gegen 19.30 die Information, dass der am Vortag ( Fr. 30.08.) reservierte Spannferkelbraten bereits an einen anderen Gast verkauft war. Gegen 19.40 haben wir enttäuscht das Lokal verlassen. Wir haben am späteren Abend erfahren, dass offenbar der Chef nicht im Hause war, sodass dieAuszubildenden alleine zurecht kommen mussten. The hotel (Löwen) where we stayed one night had a ruhetag restaurant. They recommended this restaurant to us, which we absolutely did not regret. Reservations were really necessary. Due to the beautiful weather, we ate on the very attractive, spacious, cozy outdoor terrace (beer garden). These are the places you look for during your holidays, highly recommended and the food is also good.

Ganz zufällig fanden wir dieses Restaurant auf unserer Fahrradtour und der Besuch war das kulinarische Highlight einer ganzen Woche. Forellenmatjes und natürlich Tafelspitz waren ganz hervorragend. Besonders aber auch das Ambiente in dem sehr individuell gestalteten Garten laden zum Verweilen ein.

The entrance to the enchanting beer garden is beautifully designed. Great atmosphere - imaginative menu and, above all, very attentive young service. The dishes were all beautifully prepared and tasty with that certain something. Lots of nice ideas for furnishings - even the toilet paper ;). We'll definitely come back. The beer garden has cozy spots under a huge chestnut tree.

The homepage says "One of the most beautiful beer gardens", and that's 100% true. We found a real gem here with wonderful food and super nice service. This alone even makes the train ride from Ansbach here worth it. Thank you very much and see you soon again in the beautiful Marktbreit :-)

Food was very good, no question, the taste was excellent. However, even though the restaurant wasn't even half full, we had to wait over an hour for our food and unfortunately the service didn't really pay any attention to us, which was probably because we were sitting in the booth. Otherwise I would still eat there again.

Incredibly cozy feel-good garden

We sat in the beautifully landscaped beer garden and had buffet-style dinner. When we asked, we were later given blankets when the temperatures dropped. Everyone was very friendly.

Very nice restaurant. However, the prices are quite high. The dessert (brownies with vanilla ice cream) was a delight.

Und keine Chance auf irgendeine Alternative. So verliert man in Sekundenschnelle begeisterte Kunden. Schade.

Wir waren am 15.01.2024 im Restaurant zu Gast und wurden sofort sehr herzlich und gastfreundlich empfangen. Nicht lange nach dem Bestellen kam der Beilagensalat. Er hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Die mit Schinken überbackenen Schnitzel mit Pommes kamen ebenfalls nach sehr kurzer Zeit. Das Essen war ein wahres Gedicht, es hat sehr gut geschmeckt und der Preis hat mehr als nur gestimmt. Das Restaurant ist auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert!

Waren heute zum Weihnachtsessen dort. Wirklich sehr lecker und auch der Service 1A mit Stern!!! Jederzeit zu empfehlen!!! Wir kommen wieder.😃

Wir haben unsere Weihnachtsfeier bei Noah im Fränkischen Hof gefeiert. Zu Beginn wurde uns im Garten eine Feuertonne aufgestellt und Glühwein dazu ausgeschenkt. Anschließend waren wir in dem gemütlichen Nebenraum und haben sehr sehr leckeres Essen zu fairen Preisen bekommen. Besonders gut gefällt mir, dass die Produkte regional bezogen werden und es immer wechselnde Gerichte gibt. Ein Kellner war nur für uns zuständig, sodass auch der Service keine Wünsche offen ließ. Absolute Weiterempfehlung, wir kommen gerne wieder!

Anfangs war der Service sehr gut. Hat allerdings schwer nachgelassen, als der Chef nicht mehr hinter der Theke stand. Hätten gerne als Abschluss noch einen Espresso genommen, aber es kam keine Nachfrage mehr.

Sehr schönes Ambiente, wirklich toller Service und das Essen wie immer sehr sehr lecker. Ich hatte ein Elsässer Schnitzel mit dicken Fritten und einem kleinen Salat dazu. Einen Tisch sollte man vorher reservieren. Parken kann man am Bahnhof von Marktbreit. Im Sommer haben sie einen wunderschönen Biergarten, manchmal sogar mit Livemusik. Leider trinke ich keinen Wein, aber es wird sehr viel Wert auf die Weinauswahl aus der Region gelegt. Zu beachten gilt: nur Barzahlung.

Alles top, auch das nette Fräulein was zum probearbeiten den ersten Tag da war...weiter so.👍

Uriger Gasthof, innen sehr gemütlich. Man kann auch draussen sitzen unter Bäumen, hier dauert es ein wenig länger. Reservierung wird empfohlen. Es gibt fränkische Küche, sehr lecker. Und natürlich Wein und Bier aus der Region. Empehlung.

Es ist sehr gemütlich im fränkischen Hof und das Tafelspitz mit Meetettich Soße,Peiselbeeren und Bandnudeln hat sehr lecker geschmeckt.

Netter Service, toller Biergarten und lecker Essen!

Op weg naar Nederland twee nachten in de omgeving van Ochsenburg/ Marktbreit dit restaurant bezocht. Eerlijk gezegd kwam dit doordat we hier welkom waren met onze hond, voor binnen in het restaurant. Zeer gemakkelijke sfeer, wordt gerund door jonge ondernemer en heeft een kleine maar lekkere kaart. Gerechten worden met frisse en verse ingrediënten bereid. Opvallend was de Jackfruit Hamburger, een Vega gerecht zoals je deze niet vaak ziet in het binnenland. En uiteraard was deze heerlijk van smaak! Betalen is nog wel in contanten ... entree is niet eenvoudig zichtbaar (op een hoek). Zeer aardige mensen, kortom, heerlijk avondje gehad!

Wir sind begeistert vom Fränkischen Hof ! Wir haben sehr gut gegessen: Tafelspitzsuppe, Maischolle und der hausgemachte Rhabarberkuchen. Ich war rundum zufrieden. Es kocht ja auch der Seniorchef! Der Biergarten ist Idylle pur. Der Chef bedient selbst. Und er ist schon ein echter Typ. Alles in allem: einfach urig. Ihr müsst unbedingt reservieren. Heute waren wir zum Azubitag dort. Wir haben sehr engagierte junge Leute im Service erlebt. Und es hat alles wunderbar funktioniert. Glückwunsch zu dieser Truppe! Parken kann man am nahegelegenen Parkplatz des Bahnhofs von Marktbreit. Für den Fränkischen Hof ist uns die Fahrt von Würzburg nach Marktbreit nicht zu weit.
