Unfortunately, it was a total, expensive disappointment. Please avoid it. Grilled feta cheese from the supermarket, not grilled, just heated. Salad drowned in dressing (yogurt)... The sauces were all convenience foods with some tweaking, and the rice was covered in ingredients (peas and carrots) and sauce. Not very tasty. The meat was really good, and so was the tzatziki. The service tried hard, but was inattentive.

Worst restaurant I've ever been to!!! Rude service, cold food, Metaxa sauce that might have seen a bottle of Metaxa in passing, gyros with thick bacon rinds that tasted like they were frozen, even the fries tasted stale. We had to get our own menus. We were handed used cutlery. The woman at the next table asked what the white powder in her drink was. Never ever!!!!

The restaurant has its own unique, rustic charm. At the entrance, after the stairs, there's a revolving wooden door. The 3D murals depict typical Greek scenes. The service was prompt, attentive, and very friendly. The value for money was good. We had trouble finishing our main course, so we'll share one starter instead of two on our next visit. The saganaki was presented in a classic style with a salad garnish. I only missed a squeeze of lemon. Both main courses were generously presented without any frills. We were won over by the flavor and the perfectly prepared meat! The gyros was crispy but not dry, and the skewer was tender pink and juicy. The bifteki, like the rest of the food, was authentically seasoned and well-filled. We paired it with two different local wines that had real character. Unfortunately, we were so full that we couldn't enjoy dessert. But that's okay, because we'll definitely be back to experience many more dishes and the friendly atmosphere.

Failures, bad luck, and mishaps 😂 After 40 minutes, we got drinks that we ordered ourselves at the counter, since no waiter had spoken to us for 20 minutes. To be on the safe side, we ordered the food at the same time. To ease the burden on the staff, we even wrote it down ourselves. 😆 The casserole was very salty, and the rice was cold. 🤨 The tzatziki and beer were at least OK. The farewell was very polite.

Excellent food and good service is this authentic Greek restaurant. I got a Gyro plate (55) and my wife got the skewers (50). It was a lot of food for us and really flavorful. The gentleman serving us took our order quickly and the food came out rather quickly—hot and fresh. The Greek yogurt with honey and walnuts topped everything off and was great (and not too heavy after the meaty meal.) Overall the food schmeckt sehr gut and we will visit again.

I was here today with my partner. The food was perfectly fine. I had gyro with rice, the portions were generous and OK. The meat was well-cooked but still tender. The rice with carrots and peas was also very good. You do have to allow a bit of time, but it's not a fast-food place. We were satisfied. Thanks for the free liquor.

We are currently on vacation and were very happy to have found a Greek restaurant that serves liver, as it has been taken off the menu everywhere we have been recently. Since we are on vacation, we didn't mind waiting longer even though it wasn't that busy. We had a starter platter: liver with fries and salad with extra Metaxa sauce, and gyros on a skewer with rice and also a salad. The server was always very friendly and accommodating even though we had to wait a little longer for everything. First came the side salad, then eventually the main course and then the starter platter. When I got my liver, I first thought I had gotten gyros, but on second glance I noticed that the liver was chopped up and very thin, which also made it completely dry, which the next table confirmed even though they got their food much faster. The Metaxa sauce was really thin and hardly tasted of anything. The starter platter wasn't much better. My husband's meal was really good. We're certainly not spoiled, and I don't know when my husband has ever actually left a meal, but he couldn't eat the liver either. We were simply told that the manager was on vacation and the chef wasn't the fastest or best. I don't think the manager was doing himself any favors. If the waiter hadn't been so friendly, we would have left much sooner.

It was our first time at Santorini, a group of four. We sat inside in a lovely Greek-style restaurant. The food, especially the appetizers, was good. The service could be a bit faster; we waited over 20 minutes to order dessert, with only five tables occupied. The wait to pay was just as long. I personally found the flies in the dining room unpleasant.

There were only two staff members and they were visibly stressed. • The garlic bread was served as regular wheat bread with a light coating of oil - zero garlic flavor. • The fries served with the gyro were rock hard. • The gyro meat was inedible, sometimes just streaked with fat. • The salad (pre-made salad from a bag) was also inedible - not to mention the dressing. • The tzatziki didn't taste like tzatziki at all. We can't recommend this restaurant.

I ordered gyros with Metaxa sauce and rice. Unfortunately, it took a lot of imagination to taste the Metaxa sauce; it wasn't creamy, nor did it taste or smell like it; more like a very mild tomato sauce. The rice that came with it looked like bagged rice. It was topped with peas and diced carrots, which is absolutely not fitting for a Greek dish. Unfortunately, I definitely don't recommend it.

The service was friendly. Since it was warm and the sun was still shining, we sat outside. So much for the positive. The food was cheap but not value for money! Salad - leaf lettuce with an indefinable white dressing. Main course Bifteki - folded pressed mince with cheese sauce - consistency was similar to the sole of a shoe. Tsatziki - bad, every one you buy is better. The souvlaki without any Greek taste. Never again!

Small portions, poor service, you don't get what is described on the menu. The restaurant was empty, we were asked if we had a reservation, the question whether we had to was answered with yes. We were then assigned a table in the corner. The restaurant didn't fill up during our stay either. When choosing food, what we wanted wasn't available. It can happen that something runs out when it's full, but that wasn't the case that day. Starter salad was sobering, only lettuce with dressing. Main courses quite small and not particularly tasty. The souflaki skewers seemed to be hardly or not at all seasoned. The tzatziki was tasteless. The antipasti plate did not consist of various antipasti as described in the menu, but rather of leaf salad with a few dried tomatoes and two cherry peppers. The accompanying garlic bread was slices of brown bread spread with garlic. Actually, this should be toasted white bread with garlic. The service was subpar They also didn't ask if everything was OK, as is usual elsewhere. We weren't asked if we would like anything else to drink. We also didn't have an ouzo, as is usually the case with Greeks. At other tables yes. Spa guests don't seem to be welcome here. Therefore, absolutely no recommendation for this restaurant.

When asked, they tried to present the food better than it really is, "There's no need for coleslaw, it would be so good," "If you roast the bread really well in the oven and then add garlic, it's great," unfortunately nothing really tasted good to us and every plate was returned. To eat fries, should you go to the snack bar around the corner and defrost and fry frozen chicken? I can do that at home too... I don't go to the restaurant for that. The glasses smelled like dishwashing liquid. The menus had a very unpleasant smell. If we had read the reviews beforehand, we could have avoided this disappointment. Ouzo was distributed according to whim. Some guests got one, others didn't. Unfortunately not recommended.
