Restaurant Santorini in Baunatal

There were four of us... except for the saganaki, it was the worst Greek food we've ever had in Kassel and the surrounding area, liver was tough, gyros waddy, chicken was dry... we two men even had meat on it Plate left which never happens otherwise. The service was super friendly and noticed that we didn't like it, but she couldn't help either.

Nicely small, just right. Very nice staff, courteous and really quick. Food absolutely delicious. Gladly again.

Were there again yesterday with 7 people...we felt comfortable and enjoyed good company. However, I find 17.50 euros for a little meat, some of which was still very dry, a small coleslaw and a few fries to be unreasonably high, even at this time. A large drink costs just under 5 euros... so the price level has changed.

A nice restaurant in itself. But when you wait over an hour for your food and are put off with a cheap excuse, I wonder what's going wrong. Even if the restaurant is busy, that doesn't justify the long wait. Therefore only 2 stars.

Delicious food in a nice atmosphere

We always like to go here for lunch during the week, Since a discounted lunch menu is also offered during the week and is of good quality, it's always a pleasure. Particularly friendly staff and almost always a table for two people. The free parking garage at the central bus station is always easy to reach in a short walk.

If you want classic Greek food, this is the place for you. The only thing that was unusual on the menu was the fish platter, which was also very good for the northern Hesse region. It is advisable to reserve a place as it is always quite full. This has the disadvantage that there is also a lot of background noise.

Very hospitable, attentive service, selection of food and drinks was good and offered something for all tastes. A lot of the usual Greek, but deliciously prepared and served with a smile. The ambience is Greek simple. The “partitions” divide this up very nicely and create pleasant spaces. I've been there twice and will come back.

You can go there, the gyros taste good, nothing special, the price is a bit more expensive than our local Greeks. The service was very attentive even though every table was occupied.

Always very good food in a pleasant environment

Unfortunately I was disappointed. “Pike perch fillet fried on the skin” is simply a misrepresentation of false facts. Was breaded in flour and deep fried. Fried potatoes were also fried and dry. Everything without salt. After the main course we immediately asked if we could finish off with an ouzo. No question as to whether it should be dessert or coffee. Felt like being kicked out.

Very tasty food (the lamb is super tender and delicious) and the service was extremely friendly. This won't be our last visit

It is advisable to make a reservation first. The Rhodes platter was delicious, but I think that every Greek meal generally includes a small dollop of tzatziki... an additional €2.50 is charged here. Otherwise the staff is nice and accommodating. Gladly again.

Restaurant mit nettem Ambiente. Bedienung war freundlich . Die Karte ist vielfältig. Das Essen ist lecker allerdings finde ich persönlich die Portionen zu klein.

Gutes Essen in familiärer Atmosphäre. Die Meze Platte war sehr ansprechend angerichtet, mit Salaten, Dips, Tzaziki, Oliven usw. Das Brot war super lecker. Muss man wirklich probieren. Der Gyros. It Pommes und Krautsalat auch sehr schmackhaft. Das Restaurant war voll besetzt und trotz kleinen Halloween Gästen, hatten die drei Damen den Service voll im Griff. Man merkt das es ein eingespieltes und freundliches Team ist.

Sehr gemütliches, kleines Lokal wo man in der Wärmeren Jahreszeit auch gut draußen sitzen kann. Mega lecker, immer freundlich, ich gehe sehr gerne hin. Reservierung empfiehlt sich, da es hier immer sehr gut besucht ist.

Wir waren abends draußen essen. Das Essen war bescheiden. Ein gähnend langweiliger Krautsalat wurde als Beilage serviert und die Fleischspieße ohne jegliche Soße ziemlich lieblos auf den Teller geklatscht. Ich bat um weingstens etwas Zaziki oder irgendeine Soße halt, wie es in jedem anderen griechischem Lokal üblich ist aber die Bedienung (es war wohl die Chefin) war über diesen Wunsch anscheinend total überfordert und auch nicht besonders erfreut. Man müsse das erst extra zubereiten, das würde dann dauern und extra kosten. Nun denn, dann haben wir es halt so trocken gegessen, das Fleisch war aber gut. Das Ambiente ansonsten einfach, gewöhnlich, nix besonderes aber o.k. und sauber. Wir essen total gerne griechisch, auch gerne in verschieden Lokalitäten und es gibt natürlich immer Variationen, was auch gut ist aber dieser Grieche ist uns in negativer Erinnerung geblieben. Es liegt wohl auch daran, dass vor Ort keine Konkurrenz ist und man sich nicht groß ins Zeug legen muss. Das Preis-/ Leistungsverhältnis fanden wir nicht o.k.
