Unfortunately, rude service. I was ignored by the waitress for 20 minutes, despite clearly making myself known, and when I said something, all I got was a snippy shrug of the shoulders. There were about 6 guests present at the time.

Unfortunately, the waitress was rude, especially when it came to payment (she didn't ask us if we wanted to pay with her card separately, etc...) she simply brought us the payment without asking us anything. The belly soup was reheated and little, very strong papanasi and smelled of spoiled cheese. It has nothing to do with Romanian food.

Tripe soup (ciorba de burta) ordered large and received small but large priced!!! And often.

The Sandplacken restaurant serves good Romanian cuisine. The service was very friendly.

Actually a great restaurant. Grill buffet looked interesting. We only had coffee and cake. Typical Romanian cake, it was ok but not the tastiest for me. I would happily recommend it

Unfortunately I can't comment on the food as I never got around to eating there. We were disrespected and after we asked if there were still seats available we were turned away because everything was full and reserved. We asked when the tables would be reserved and were told from 5 p.m. (we had 2:30 p.m.). We just wanted to eat coffee and cake. The waiter still told us that there was no space available, which we didn't fully understand. We then told him we were leaving and would never come back. The waiter's answer was get out (I can't reproduce the O sound). The. As a guest, being insulted by staff is an absolute no go! The only recommendation I can make for this place is that you shouldn't go there!

Payment by card is no longer accepted, before they were more polite and welcoming, but now they look at you like the last person and talk as if you owe them something. I'm never going back there.

Very good food. We accidentally found the restaurant or guesthouse and had the big surprise that there was also a Romanian kitchen. We ate very good and traditional food. In addition, the manager was very, very friendly and let us try the schnapps. Was delicious too!! I will definitely drive by again! AAA and as a little information, the service employee was extremely nice and always served us with a smile in her voice and also informed us about the food! We will definitely go there again! The restaurant at Sandplacken is now firmly in Romanian hands. And still worth a visit. The typical cuisine is rather hearty, similar to Polish. Enjoyment of meat is very important. There is a barbecue on Sundays. I was lucky enough to experience the Easter lamb special menu. Even the lamb soup became a revelation. The journey to the Taunus was worth it just for the great lamb pie made from liver, kidney, heart etc. The serving staff is very attentive. And the plum schnapps at the end rounds everything off nicely

I was a bit surprised that people smoked at the bar in the entrance area. All jackets/coats hung in the cloakroom now smell of cigarette smoke. Since when has smoking been allowed in restaurants again?

I always walk up from Oberursel and the restaurant is a regular stop for lunch. Very nice service and delicious, rustic Romanian cuisine. The menu also offers other dishes from schnitzel to lamb.

Bad food, meat tastes really strange and really expensive

Hier gibt es deftige Fleischgerichte die im Sommer sogar draußen auf der Terrasse an einem Grill zubereitet werden die Terrasse ist sehr schön im Sommer da man schön in den Wald reinschauen kann. Das Essen ist Standard aber lohnt sich trotzdem.

Ich war schon öfters hier zum Mittagessen. Im Sommer kann man schön draußen sitzen. Sehr leckeres Essen,das meiste alles selbst gemacht 😋 Kann ich nur empfehlen.

Wir hatten ein Geschäftsessen im Restaurant Sandplacken und waren sehr zufrieden. Das Essen war üppig und lecker, die Bedienung aufmerksam und freundlich. Die Küche ist gut und ehrlich. Gute Rumänische Küche. Das Restaurant hat einen sehr großen Parkplatz, was sehr praktisch ist. Im Sommer ist das Restaurant sicherlich sehr gut besucht, da es am Fuße des Feldbergs liegt. Empfehlenswert und auf jedenfall ein Besuch wert. Gerne wieder.

Ich kann absolut nichts schlechtes berichten , haben gespeist und getrunken und es war absolut lecker. Die selbstgemachte Limo ist ein Traum, Essen war super und zu Preis/Leistung kann ich auch nur Top sagen , ich bin mega satt und Lecker war es auch. Das Personal ist total nett und bemüht. Nichts negatives zu erzählen.

Ein wunderschönen Platz für besondere Stunden, das Essen ein besonderes Genuss. Traditionelle Gerichte wie "zuhause " Die Bedienung ist unkompliziert und freundlich, und stehts in deiner Nähe. Der Inhaber ist mit Leib und Seele dabei und macht das rumänische Lokal gastfreundlich und sehr beliebt. Einfach probieren und ihr werdet mir recht geben...

Wir haben für den 27.05. für das Essen nach der Hochzeit reserviert, und wir wurden sehr gastfreundlich erwartet, der Service am Tisch war sehr nett und sehr prompt, das gesamte Essen war sehr gut und frisch, ansonsten sind die Desserts sehr lecker. Ich habe nur Worte des Dankes für dieses Restaurant. Die Preise sind für alle gut. Ich werde mit großer Liebe an diesen Ort zurückkehren
