Delicious, worth a visit...we liked it and will come again

Today was my first visit there, and it certainly won't be the last. It has a super cozy atmosphere, with very friendly service. You feel at home from the moment you arrive. And the dishes taste great. And the size is definitely appropriate. The prices are also absolutely reasonable. So, for my taste, there really wasn't anything to complain about. I highly recommend it.

Enjoy good Greek cuisine in the atmosphere of a Greek taverna. Service was friendly and attentive. The meat wasn't overcooked and was well seasoned, but not overly spicy. Special requests were accommodated. Delicious appetizers. Unfortunately, there was no room left for dessert. The price/performance ratio was good. I'd be happy to come back.

Four of us, along with two couples, ate there. The food was delicious, and the service was very friendly and attentive. We felt very comfortable and would gladly come back.

Very nice service, super delicious food

Unfortunately, I had bad luck with the meat. The lamb chop was tough and the fillet skewer was dry. My complaint was met with nothing more than "I'm sorry." I was disappointed.

I've eaten everywhere, but I've never experienced anything like this. The food arrived mostly cold, the gyro was baked, it was just cold meat with a slice of cheese on it. The food was mixed up and also ordered incorrectly. The food was immediately returned and should have been taken off the bill, but instead the boss was called. He immediately became angry, disrespectful and rude. He insinuated that we had sat there for 3 hours and said nothing (we canceled after half an hour and hadn't even been there for 60 minutes). There was no apology whatsoever, no compromise. The food had to be paid for and we should (the boss's statement) "not go there again". The service was polite and nice, but put under pressure by the boss. I definitely do not recommend this restaurant!!!!!! We are absolutely disappointed, especially as it was my birthday. This garbage cost us over €44. If anything, the only thing that was good was the coffee. Even the cappuccino was cold. We are considering checking this place out. A real Greek with a love of food and hospitality (who cares about every guest) would have made this evening a memorable experience. However, it wasn't even remotely like that here. Absolute disaster!!!

Not worth a star...my food was served cold and dry (gyros topped with cheese and fries), which in reality was gyros with a slice of cheese on top. Nothing more! I complained straight away and the waitress took the food back. I was told that the food would be taken off the bill and a cappuccino was on the house. So far so good...when the bill came, the food was of course included. When I didn't want to pay for the food, the waitress said that the boss didn't want it, whereupon he came to our table a short time later. I didn't get a word in edgeways and he said the food is paid for, the food is paid for. Then: what happened to the food? Me: the food is cold and dry! He: why didn't you say that straight away? I said that I complained straight away. He said of course 3 hours ago or something??? Even though we hadn't even been there for an hour. Pathetic, I've never experienced anything like it. Not recommended, go somewhere else people. Any kebab shop offers better quality. Unfortunately, I have to give it one star, as Google requires it! Never again on Samos Kieler Straße :-(

The food is very tasty, but the portions are small. There's a lot of smoking in the tent. There are few seats inside. The service was friendly.

We visited for the first time and were pleasantly surprised. The outdoor area was larger and very loud, but we had a reservation inside, and it was quieter and more comfortable. The food was great, and the service was friendly. We'll definitely be back!

We stumbled upon this place by chance while looking for a restaurant because it was already late, and Greek food is always good. It was a lucky find: very friendly and good service, delicious ouzo, and excellent food. Next time, we'll go here on purpose.

It's annoying that people are always smoking there. The "outdoor area" is almost completely closed, and smokers can go out onto the street—there are tables with ashtrays there, too.

Super delicious food, unfortunately a bit expensive for extra sauce, but the rest was tip top.

Everything was fine so far...the first ouzo was super cold...the last one was mega, but unfortunately, it wasn't any colder. The worst part was that all four of us had our food, and I still didn't after 10 minutes. That wasn't nice; it was forgotten. And then they didn't even give us a discount on the bill...or even a drink as an apology...sad.

Samos – our annual must-do with taste! At least once a year we go to Samos with our amateur football veterans' group - and it's a real highlight every time! The hospitality is warm and honest, you immediately feel welcome. The food? Great! Authentic, delicious and always made with love. Sometimes I would like a second helping - but one starter definitely fills you up. And then there are one or two “short rounds” that are difficult to turn down – typical Samos. Conclusion: Great atmosphere, delicious food and hosts you like to stay with. We look forward to it every year!

Mein Besuch im Samos hinterlies bei mir eine tiefe Enttäuschung. Während die ästhetisch ansprechende Einrichtung und die Terrasse einen positiven ersten Eindruck hinterließen, konnte der Rest leider nicht mithalten. Bei dem servierten Gyros handelte es sich um ein durchschnittliches Gericht, das weder besonders gut noch besonders schlecht war. Jedoch war es das Verhalten des Personals, das meinen Besuch wirklich ungenießbar machte. Ein Mitarbeiter machte es sich gemütlich und rauchte, während er im Restaurant herumlümmelte, was ich als sehr unprofessionell empfand. Ein weiterer Mitarbeiter reagierte auf meine Bitte, die Musik ein wenig leiser zu stellen, mit einem spöttischen Lächeln und einem anhaltenden, herablassenden Grinsen, was mich das Gefühl gab, nicht ernst genommen zu werden. Hinzu kommt, dass ich mehr als 30 Minuten auf mein Essen warten musste, obwohl nur vier Gäste im Restaurant waren. Diese Situation trug zusätzlich zu der allgemeinen Unzufriedenheit bei, die ich während meines Besuchs empfand. [weniger anzeigen]

Hi, we've been taking something out of the house for a while now. Quite simply Giros with Suzuki and with liver. PEOPLE! Not all Giros are the same, if you want to enjoy something like that to perfection, ONLY go to this restaurant. A pleasure, even for those "out of the house", the descent for us is over 5 kilometers and it's only 12 degrees... The packaging is more than professional like, the investment really keeps you warm. Just keep it up. Oh yes, THANK YOU!

The best restaurant in Schleswig-Holstein is in Neumünster. I've never left there hungry. I feel like family there. Thank you for the service and the delicious food.

We had reserved a table for 12 people, unfortunately there were only 7 of us there without the registered people canceling. The waiter spoke to us about this situation, which we couldn't do anything about. BUT that the “boss” was of the opinion that he had to reprimand us so loudly for the free places was the purest impudence. Even the cold feet and the good food couldn't stop us. Samos?? Never again

If you get a place in the winter garden in winter, it's a bit cool despite the patio heaters. Space at the entrance is a bit uncomfortable, as there is a passage to the winter garden. But food is saucier

Very cozy with very good service and delicious food. Unfortunately, the vegetable pan was a bit too little, as it came with a salad but no side dish. I would like to get something like rice or fries with it. But the rest of our food was very tasty and more than enough.

We haven't been to Samos in a long time. The service and the selection of food and drinks were very good. Everyone is friendly, accommodating, and hospitable. The food is delicious, and the menu has everything we'd expect from a Greek restaurant. Thank you for a lovely evening.

The food was very tasty! Fries could have been a little more. We were surprised by the prices - they are usually 20% more expensive than there. We'll be back.

Food was okay, tables are placed far too close together (less than a meter), so no privacy. The waiter seemed annoyed because you wanted to pay by card, bar is of course better (I can understand😉)! Maybe that's why there was no more ouzo after paying!🤷🏼‍♂️

An absolute insider tip! My best friend and I had an unforgettable evening here. The atmosphere is simply fantastic – you feel like you are in Greece. The food? A taste explosion! The mezedes were so fresh and delicious, and the moussaka was the best we've ever tasted. I would particularly like to highlight the service: warm, attentive and with true Greek hospitality. A big thank you to the team for this great evening! We will definitely be back – our new favorite restaurant!

We were there late at night and got something to eat 👍. Unfortunately the gyro was dry, but the liver was great and the plate was well filled.

It's now bookmarked. (The only thing that was unusual for us from North Rhine-Westphalia was the fact that smoking was allowed in the pretty winter garden and, unfortunately, nothing. But we were able to move to a table on the sidewalk)

We were there for dinner yesterday with 9 people. Table was booked for 8 p.m. The food came quickly and tasted good too. At 10 p.m. we were only allowed to order one drink (last round). We were no longer allowed to order ice cream because the kitchen had already been cleaned. It was supposed to be a nice, cozy evening, but instead we were basically kicked out at 10:15 p.m. Apparently they don't need sales. According to the opening times, the restaurant is open until midnight. Hospitality looks different.

First of all: taste licker absolutely great! Very tasty and generous portion of the main courses! 1 star deducted for the extra portion of tzatziki, as they have 6!! cost euros. Unfortunately, a lot of people smoked and yes - it is "outside" but this "outside" is more of a kind of winter garden/terrace, so the smoke can hardly go away. I just find it disgusting. Otherwise clean and neatly laid out. Unfortunately, our waiter had a really bad day, so we didn't have any fun. I mean, as a service worker you actually have exactly one job and unfortunately it was a disaster just yesterday. It's a shame, otherwise we would have liked to give it 4 stars.

Delicious food and nice atmosphere

We've been coming back for years. Today was very special: my husband accidentally spilled his Aperol all over my food and I got a new dish for free!! That is NOT a given, thank you so much for that 🤩 And of course it always tastes delicious 😉

Our favorite Greek place for years 👍 a visit there is always like a little vacation. The food is delicious and fresh, the service is friendly and the terrace is simply cozy. We are already looking forward to tomorrow to be pampered again 😍

When my husband & I got there at 9:20 p.m., we were told that the kitchen closes at 9:30 p.m., unfortunately this was not on the internet or on their homepage. But we were still allowed to order something to eat, we were just told that we weren't allowed to take any more gyros because it would take too long. We were still able to decide on a meal, which came to the table relatively quickly. The food was delicious. You can sit outside and inside, although it is relatively narrow inside, at least compared to the bar. Otherwise it's okay, the atmosphere is nice, but nothing special. The parking situation is also a bit unfavorable because there is currently construction going on there and the street is completely closed.

Delicious food, this restaurant also has lunch during the week. I always enjoy going there with my family and it always tastes very, very tasty. The manager of the house is always very nice and attentive. I can only recommend this restaurant to everyone.

The Samos is a long-established Greek restaurant in Neumünster. Just the fact that it has been around for around 30 years. Speaks for itself. Originally built as a snack bar, you can now sit comfortably both inside and outside. The menu offers something for everyone. The food is delicious, the service is friendly and competent. The prices are absolutely fair. You should probably make a reservation for the weekend. We got there quite early on a Monday and were seated straight away. Thank you for the great hospitality.

We had a really nice evening here with super tasty and fresh dishes. You have to plan for a bit of a wait because the store is always busy, which simply speaks for its good reputation. The staff and owner are super friendly and welcoming. There is something for everyone on the menu. Really good.

Super nice service. Food was super delicious. The quantity was great every time, but unfortunately the service rarely comes to the table to reorder drinks, for example. A bit small to sit in but comfortable. There's nothing to complain about. Let's see what the prices are now because unfortunately there's nothing left on the internet.

Sehr liebevoll und nett. Essen war sehr gut. Preis-/ Leistung sehr gut. Wir waren ein paar mal die Straße runter Richtung See bei dem Griechen essen, werden aber ab jetzt immer hierhin kommen!

We had a very tasty meal here again. It's always a taste experience. An ouzo first, together with grilled pepperoni and the main course was also amazing. We had bifteki with cheddar and egg and a farmer's salad with gyros. Very good portions.

The food didn't taste like anything and the service was very lackluster. The rice that was served tasted like it had come straight from the ready-made bag and, unbelievably, 10 fries were served with the dish. The boss simply ignored us when we said goodbye.

Kleines gemütliches Restaurant mit sehr aufmerksamen Personal. Das Essen war wirklich lecker und reichlich.

Vorab nettes Personal und stets bemüht allerdings war mein Essen nicht schlecht aber auch nicht gut…es war okay gibt aber viel bessere griechische Restaurants. Ich hatte die Nummer 45 (2 Lamkottlets) bestellt. Man muss Zeit einplanen denn trotz der Vorspeise kam es doch zu einer recht langen Wartezeit bis das Essen serviert wurde. Die Portion war für den teuren Preis viel zu klein. Beide Hähnchen waren NICHT richtig durch, habe es dann zurückgeschickt dann war das Hähnchen besser aber nicht ganz so von der Konsistenz wie ich Hähnchen kenne. Würde sagen die Qualität des Hähnchen war nicht besonders gut und es war etwas schwabbelig. Der Tomatenreis der dazu serviert wurde war sehr klein portioniert und hat sehr fade geschmeckt zudem hatte ich den Eindruck das der Reis nicht ganz durch war. Die Pommes waren gut und der Zazikki war geschmacklich richtig lecker. Trotz allem darf man nicht vergessen das es ein Familienbetrieb ist und vom Service her bemüht ist. Nur das Essen war halt nicht so wie ich es mir gewünscht hätte. Ich werde dort nicht mehr Essen gehen
