It was very good there. The service was great. I had a few special requests regarding the table.

My daughter really upset her stomach with the chicken with mushrooms. We were a large group and she was the only one who had this dish and then had severe diarrhea for two days. The restaurant didn't take any notice of this. I don't want to eat there anymore.

There were five of us and we experienced extremely friendly and attentive service. The food was also very good. From vegetable schnitzel to grilled plates or Plejskavica, everything was very tasty. Sauce was offered for the schnitzel without asking. Homemade pepper sauce, exceptionally good 👍 Certainly not our last visit.

Above all, the service was first class. To bridge the waiting time for the food to arrive, you can help yourself at the salad bar. The dishes are incredibly filling and the plates are generously filled. Unfortunately, there are fewer vegan alternatives or independent dishes in the program. But that was to be expected from a, I think, Croatian restaurant. There is a huge side room that can be rented for private events.

From Hagen Eilpe towards Selbecke, just past the open-air museum, lies the rose garden. There used to be a rose garden, but unfortunately, it had to make way for an extension and parking lot. The restaurant is located in an old half-timbered house with a rustic ambiance. It's nicely decorated and looks well-kept. A friendly welcome. The meal was half-and-half (neck steak skewers and cevapcici) with a side dish and salad. Good value for money.

The service was first class - the team is incredibly friendly, attentive and accommodating. You immediately feel welcome and in good hands. The food also exceeded our expectations. The food was of excellent quality, lovingly prepared and simply delicious. Here you can tell that they cook with fresh ingredients and a lot of passion. Another plus point is the in-house parking lot, which makes getting there uncomplicated. And the fact that the restaurant is always busy speaks for itself - the overall package is just right here. I can fully recommend the Rosengarten restaurant and am already looking forward to my next visit!

It's dropped a lot... of course the prices have risen everywhere somehow, but I honestly think it's outrageous to charge so much for fries and chicken nuggets. frozen fries and frozen nuggets...hmm well. Service is actually always top.

You can also eat the food in any snack bar.

We were here for the first time. We really liked it, the food and the staff were really good, but unfortunately we won't be coming back. There were guests opposite us with a dog. Which isn't actually a problem, but the dog was allowed to sit on the bench next to his owner, which I consider a no-go in a restaurant. The dog had his snout on the table the whole time and the waiter said it wasn't that bad. Very unfortunate. For me, dogs don't belong on a bench where guests are sitting.

We celebrated my daughter's 18th birthday with 32 guests in the Rosengarten restaurant and were completely satisfied! The buffet was a real highlight - there was a great selection of food that was fresh, varied and extremely tasty. There was something for every taste and the quality of the food was excellent. The staff was very friendly and attentive and made sure we didn't lack for anything. The organization was top notch, so we could fully concentrate on celebrating. Many thanks to the Rosengarten team for an unforgettable evening! Absolutely recommended for celebrations of all kinds!

My daughter's wedding was celebrated at the location on August 24, 2024. Very beautiful and extremely attractive decoration. The food was very varied and extremely tasty. The service was always courteous and present, so that nothing was missing at the tables at any time. Also a big compliment to the kitchen and the great service. Food very tasty. Ambience very nice. You can sit inside, in the winter garden or outside. Unfortunately the staff was understaffed that day. That's why it took a little longer.

There was a menu online with good vegan dishes. Unfortunately, we were informed on site that the menu and dishes were not available. The choice for vegans is therefore very limited. The atmosphere is very nice and the employees are friendly. Ample parking on site.

The menu offers enough choice that everyone will find what they are looking for. Extra requests will be gladly fulfilled. The prices, like everywhere else these days, are in the upper range.

For once we had to wait a long time for our food, it wasn't a problem... the taste smoothed it out... they apologized countless times for small things. We'd love to come back.

Wir waren sonntags Mittags hier und haben uns auf einen angenehmen sommerlichen Mittag im Biergarten gefreut. Leider haben wir über eine Stunde gewartet. Für mich ist es in einem so großen Restaurant mit so vielen Tischen keine Ausrede zu sagen, dass es eine größere Gesellschaft gab. Meiner persönlichen Meinung nach ist das eigentliche Problem, dass sei schlecht organisiert sind, sowohl in der Küche als auch die Kellner. Innerhalb unseres Aufenthaltes haben uns 4 verschiedene Kellner bedient. Das Essen war ganz gut, aber äußerst lieblos präsentiert, was wiederum für den Preis und der Eigendarstellung entgegensteht. Die Kellner waren trotz allem sehr freundlich und bemüht unsere Wünsche zu erfüllen. Hört sich alles nicht schlecht an, aber eben auch nicht wirklich sehr gut und in Hagen gibt es bessere Alternativen.

The food was plentiful and excellent. We agree: one of the very best restaurants in Hagen. Thank you again for the lovely evening.

A cozy and rustic restaurant. I had the vegetable schnitzel with a kind of potato wedges, both really tasty and a wonderful vegetarian variant to all the meat, which of course also tasted good.

I would describe the restaurant as quaint. The service is attentive and very friendly. Extra requests will be accommodated at any time. There was a time when the food wasn't all that good. But this has changed again. What I think is particularly great is that it is now possible to order the dishes in “small” sizes. So half a portion. Excellent. The prices are absolutely reasonable for the quality of all the food. The salad buffet could be a little bigger. But that's whining. You can choose from individual containers. The bean salad is deliciously prepared and the coleslaw doesn't taste artificial either. There is also tuna, pepperoni, tomatoes and cucumbers. Red beans and corn. There's something for everyone. Yoghurt and French dressing round everything off. We like to go and go more often. In summer, the beer garden also invites you to just have a beer and a snack.

Delicious food, reasonable prices and super friendly service. That was our first visit there...we'll be back.

I was visiting my parents for dinner in the rose garden I have to say, an excellent address for good food. Very attentive and friendly staff. A very nice evening for all of us.

Very disappointing. Buffet was very poor (it felt like one dish was just for the size of a group). The food was cold and you burned your fingers on the plates. The hollandaise “walked past” the broccoli and the entire “buffet” was completely empty for a good hour. My partner's plate was simply taken away without asking. So I've never experienced anything like that.

You've always been very good for 27 years. There is a beautiful beer garden outside and the winter garden is GREAT for celebrations of all kinds. With a break from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. We know what we're getting. The Krombacher Pils is great on tap and doesn't taste as good anywhere in Hagen.

Have been to the Rosengarten restaurant several times. Service is attentive. The selection of dishes is extensive. The dishes taste very good. Something for everyone. Unfortunately, the prices on the homepage do not match those in the restaurant. The Zagreb plate costs €19.90 In the menu on site 24€. The price increase for the 300g fillet is even greater. The price was adjusted by €6 to €43.90. Everyone has price increases. I'm aware. But raising prices like that is unfortunately incomprehensible to me. Hence a star deduction. Unfortunately, I'll have to think about how often I eat there in the future.

Great food if you like meat. Vegetarian options exist and are okay.

24 Jahre und immer wieder gerne

Unsere kleine Familienweihnachtsfeier war im Rosengarten absolut gelungen. Wegen des sehr hohen Andrangs mussten wir lange auf das Essen warten. Mit wohlwollendem Verständnis und der sehr gut ausgestatteten Salatbar fanden wir einen zeitüberbrückenden Kompromiss. Das Personal ist superfreundlich und sehr aufmerksam. Das Ambiente traumhaft weihnachtlich hergerichtet. Wir waren begeistert. Gerne kommen wir wieder und können dieses urige Restaurant bestens weiterempfehlen.

1. Das Essen: Geschmacklich war das Essen im Restaurant Rosengarten durchaus zufriedenstellend. 2. Die Atmosphäre: Die Atmosphäre wurde leider durch die Unhöflichkeit des schmalen, langen Kellners mit Brille beeinträchtigt. Dadurch konnte das angenehme Ambiente des Restaurants nicht voll genossen werden. 3. Der Service: Hier gab es erhebliche Probleme. Unregelmäßigkeiten wie vergessene Speisen, falsche Bestellungen, die lange Wartezeit von 45 Minuten auf die Rechnung, das nicht funktionierende Kartenlesegerät beim Bezahlen und eine um 7 Euro zu hohe Endrechnung trübten den positiven Gesamteindruck. Gesamturteil Das gastronomische Erlebnis im Restaurant Rosengarten war nicht optimal. Trotz der geschmacklichen Qualität des Essens wurden die positiven Aspekte durch Unregelmäßigkeiten im Service, einen unfreundlichen Kellner und eine um 7 Euro zu hohe Rechnung getrübt. In Anbetracht dieser Mängel ist hervorzuheben, dass die Freundlichkeit und das Eingeständnis der Fehler erkennbar waren und man sich mehrfach entschuldigte. Dennoch sollten Verbesserungen im Service und in der Abrechnungspraxis vorgenommen werden, um das Gesamterlebnis für die Gäste zu optimieren.

Wir waren Samstag Abends ohne Vorbestellung mit 2 Personen dort. Alles kein Problem. Ein sehr freundlicher Empfang. Das Essen ist echt lecker und es findet bestimmt auch jeder das richtige für sich in der Speisekarte. Die Kellner sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das war bestimmt nicht unser letzter Besuch.

Sehr leckeres Essen, alles kroatische Küche. Das einzige, was ich verbessernwürde ist, dass es nur eine Speise ohne Fleisch gibt. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Der Wintergarten ist sehr schön und gemütlich. Angenehm beheizt. Ich kann das Restaurant auf jeden Fall empfehlen.

Gemütliches Lokal-immer wieder gut.

Das Restaurant, unweit vom Freilichtmuseum gelegen, ist stimmungsvoll eingerichtet und vermittelt eine Wohlfühl-Atmosphäre. Die Kellner sind freundlich, Kompetent und Aufmerksam. Das Essen ist lecker und die Portionsgröße ist dem Preis angemessen groß. Die Steaks waren auf den Punkt gegart und sehr zart. Die Schnitzel mit Pfifferlingen waren auch sehr schmackhaft. Das Restaurant ist definitiv zu empfehlen und bei guten Wetter gibt es auch eine schöne Außenanlage.
