Restaurant „Rheinterrassen“ mit Sommerterrasse in Königswinter

We had a buffet on the weekend. We had to take the later appointment. The food was kept warm the entire time. This made it very bad. We've never eaten anything like it. In hospitals or cafeterias, by contrast, the food is gourmet. For €41, that's outrageous. We'll never eat there again.

Nice restaurant right on the water. Food was delicious. But everything took an incredibly long time, even though there was nothing going on (including drinks). Rarely have we experienced anything like this in terms of service. Some of the staff didn't know where the toilets were (even if they are temporary staff, you should know that). Asked for drinks but only got a menu. Funny in places, but also a bit sad at such prices.

A restaurant I highly recommend. Friendly staff, very good food, reasonable prices, and very clean.

The restaurant of the Maritim Hotel. Prices typical for a hotel, but decent portions. My Caesar salad was designated as a starter, but was a true main course portion. Chicken breasts buttery soft. Perfect martini as an aperitif. Very good wine. Unfortunately no more room for dessert, next time! Great service, best view

I ordered asperagus with veal schnitzel for 42 Euros. Waiter did not bring us cutlery, told me that he'll be back in a minute. My husband took a fork from cutlery that was left on the table from former guest. I waited but waiter did not come back. Went in and got cutlery myself but food was cold then. Waiter did not come back all evening. No apology, not removing plates, not asking if everything was alright or if we'd like to order anything else. Lack of basic service. Food was good but for that price I expect at least some basic service. Still waiting for the waiter to order the bill. Guess we have to go in.

Very elegant restaurant. With a great view over the Rhine. Something for special occasions. Excellent food with a changing menu. Always good for a new taste surprise. We will be back!

Wir waren auf zweiwöchiger Geschäftsreise im Maritim Hotel. Die Kellner waren sehr aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Ein besonderer Dank geht an Meran, der einem wirklich zu jedem Zeitpunkt jeden Wunsch erfüllte. Er hat jeden Abend die Stimmung nach einem langen Schulungsabend gehoben. Tausend Dank an Dich! :)

Essen mit einem schönen Blick auf den Rhein. Waren sehr zufrieden mit dem Service. Sehr gute Weine! Praktisch, wenn das Zimmer nicht weit entfernt ist!

Great view over the Rhine and relatively good looking restaurant. We only had breakfast there, so I can only mention that. I think there was a significant mismatch between the price tag (19 € per person) and the quality. Dry croissants which had had too much exposure to a heating lamp, dry American pancakes, no black coffee available, and in general disappointing quality. The service, however, was quite good. If the quality and choice lived up to the service and the view, I’d gladly pay 19€.

Ich war vor ein paar Tagen im Restaurant Rheinterrassen zum Lunch. Das was dort allerdings als Lunch-Buffet offeriert wird, ist nicht das Gelbe vom Ei. Es hat den Anschein, dass die Speisen (Hähnchen und Fisch), zusammen mit diversen Sättigungsbeilagen sowie Salate als Vorspeise und einem Desertangebot, nicht in der hauseigenen Küche zubereitet, sondern von einem Caterer angeliefert wird. Man sitzt zwar schön direkt am Rhein (an diesem Tag Hochwasser), aber der Essensgenuss bleibt doch auf der Strecke!

Classic and comfortable surrounding with a view. The food was very good.

Irgendwie wirkt es wie sehr viel gewollt aber nur wenig gekonnt. Während die Fleischgerichte handwerklich und preislich in Ordnung, waren die vegetarischen Angebote mehr als dürftig. Bei meiner Vorspeise war burrata zum Tatar angegeben, erhalten habe ich schlichte Mozzarella-Kugeln. Die größte Frechheit war der Aperitif: 16€ für einen Sprizz sind eine Unverschämtheit. Auch wenn die Lage traumhaft ist, so was geht nicht und ist einfach frech. Der Service war freundlich und bemüht, ein, zwei Getränke haben sie trotzdem vergessen. Sooo viel los, war jedoch nicht. Würde es niemandem empfehlen, gut essen kann man in Bonn auch woanders. Wenn auch mit zugegeben nicht so schöner Aussicht.
