Restaurant Reuschwald in Kirchheim unter Teck

Yesterday, the four of us dined at Reuschwald for the first time, enjoying the goose menu, and we were absolutely delighted. The menu was delicious, starting with the small aperitif, the farmhouse bread with goose fat (absolutely divine!) and herbed sour cream, the crisp salad, the perfectly seasoned pumpkin soup, the tender, perfectly cooked goose with crispy skin, tasty side dishes, and to top it all off, a fantastic dessert: nougat parfait and passion fruit sorbet with grapefruit salad. Everything was beautifully presented. The attentive and friendly service catered to our every need. Despite its size, the well-filled dining room was cozy, warm, and attractively furnished. A particularly positive feature was the acoustic panels, which allowed us to easily converse despite the noise level – often a problem in other restaurants. Overall, the interior design is very well done (a lovely color scheme), which even extends to the restrooms. In conclusion: a thoroughly enjoyable evening with excellent value for money - and we will definitely be back!

We always enjoy coming back – especially to the beer garden in summer! We still think the concept is really great. It can get busy on weekends, so you have to be prepared for that.

I only know the Reuschwald forest from its beer garden, a highlight in this area. In summer, it's a great place to simply unwind under shady trees right at the edge of the forest. The beer garden is self-service, and unless it's Sunday afternoon, choosing is quick. Small snacks, several beers, a cozy atmosphere—everything you need. I'm looking forward to the next beer garden season! There's a large playground directly across the street, so it's also ideal with children.

We celebrated our wedding at Reuschwald and had a wonderful day. The Reuschwald team did their very best to make it a success. The advance coordination was excellent, and emails were always responded to promptly. Reuschwald has a fantastic service team that makes everything seem almost unnoticeable. We celebrated our wedding with around 65 people at Reuschwald. From the uncomplicated contact and initial planning, to the fantastic menu selection, to the implementation of all our wishes – we were completely satisfied. The food that evening received many compliments (our DJs said they haven't had better food, even at weddings with six-figure budgets!) The service was top-notch, and the fantastic, spacious hall gave us more than enough space to dance. Truly a 10/10 recommendation. Thank you, dear Reuschwald team, for an unforgettable evening!

A beer garden. In the woods by the soccer club's sports ground. Nothing particularly special. The "Berg" beer is exceptionally good. The many stars mean you can't complain. It's not a smash hit, but it's not bad either. It might get uncomfortable outside in the rain. Trees provide some shade. Large parasols. The food is delicious. Please always cover open drinks with beer mats, because bees fly into anything with liquid.

The beer garden is wonderful, self-service. But these cheese spaetzle were the worst of all the bad ones I've ever eaten. A mess of spaetzle with some kind of cheese crumbs on top. I was asked if they were crumbs. It has nothing to do with cheese. A shame.

I ordered a cheeseburger, and when I bit into it, it wasn't cooked properly. So I went back and reported it and got a new one right away. When I bit into that one, it was even bloodier than the one before. At least I got my money back and an ice cream voucher.

Ideal for those traveling on the A8 between Stuttgart and Ulm. Non-stop, simple cuisine with a large terrace under the trees, everything very clean and well-organized. For 37 euros, the two of us ate a schnitzel and each had a half-liter soft drink. Ice cream is available. There's also a playground for children and a forest walk for those who want to stretch their legs. Restrooms are clean and free. In short, a much better alternative to the filthy and expensive highway restaurants!

We spontaneously came here today after a walk. Despite the great weather and it being a Sunday, it wasn't crowded and we even found a seat in the shade. The line at the self-service counter was relatively short and we got our food within 15 minutes, which I think is a great thing. The seats are sturdy wooden benches and tables, and there are plenty of them. The staff at the self-service counters are very friendly and quick. The food was very good; of course, the schnitzels are cooked in a deep fryer rather than a pan, but that's to be expected in a beer garden of this size. The prices are also absolutely in line with the quality. The selection of drinks is also very good. There is a children's playground right next to the beer garden, which was well attended, making the beer garden ideal for families.

I spontaneously celebrated my birthday here. Best idea ever. Each of my guests received a wristband and could then take whatever they wanted. The staff were super friendly. The weather was great, and the children had fun in the adjacent playground. Everything was very relaxed. At the end, all we had to do was pay the bill, and everyone was happy.

The Reuschwald Beer Garden is the most beautiful beer garden in Kirchheim/Teck. Delicious specials change weekly. Very friendly staff. You now get pagers for picking up your pre-ordered food. Well organized, very clean. Perfectly accessible by bike.

It was our first time there, but definitely not the last. The food was very good and the value for money was good. The drinks weren't overpriced either. Despite the large number of customers, we didn't have to wait long at the bar or for our food. We'd be happy to come back.

Great restaurant. Very friendly staff, and the food is varied and delicious. You feel very comfortable, whether inside in the comfortably furnished restaurant or outside in the beer garden. We celebrated our wedding there and have become regulars. They offer excellent service for celebrations.

We were there today in a small group (15 people) for our son's confirmation, and we are absolutely thrilled. I was contacted in advance via email, and everything important was discussed in advance. Special requests were promptly addressed and implemented. The food (3 courses) and the service were outstanding, and the ambiance was also top-notch. 👍🏻 I was surprised by the final price: This quality, at this price, absolutely deserves 5 stars. Service (at the counter, self-service in the beer garden) was nice. Drinks, cheese spaetzle, currywurst, and schnitzel were OK. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the potato salad. It tasted like potato salad in a bucket from a discount store. We threw away two large portions. Before anyone criticizes my review: We know what good potato salad tastes like. Probably only made/bought for the beer garden, and then in the restaurant they made proper egg salad. Otherwise, it's worth a visit. Nice beer garden.

Hello dear Reuschwald team, I've been to your restaurant and beer garden countless times now. The beer garden stands out from the crowd with its beautiful location, great music events, and excellent food, as well as friendly staff, even in extremely stressful situations. Keep up the good work, keep improving, and I'll be requesting a regular spot. And that's despite the fact that I could visit many beer gardens on my way to your place, since I'm from the Stuttgart area. I know that's not exactly environmentally friendly, but moving just for that...

Nice beer garden with good, but not exactly cheap food, with one big disadvantage: it takes forever for the food to be ready, so long that you think something has gone wrong or the beeper isn't working. The processes definitely need to be optimized here.

****Actually 0 stars!!!**** We made reservations for our son's baptism in Reuschwald and then booked the church and let the guests know - luckily the invitations haven't been printed yet! Two weeks later we received an email informing us that from now on it would be closed on Sunday evenings and that we couldn't celebrate there after all!!!! Unbelievable...you don't seem to need it (anymore). In any case, I won't come here anymore

Food very tasty. And not expensive. You don't have to wait long and the people are very nice. But the only thing is that the seats are very open.

We were here for the second time today. The service was very friendly, patient, helpful. Everything you can expect. While we were eating and talking, the employees began to clear away tables and chairs, brought in crates of glasses and cutlery and, with a considerable amount of noise, set the tables for the next day. Our request to do this later was not honored, but we were then clearly the subject of gossip among the employees. The boss was later spoken to directly, but apparently the problem was not seen as such and was not resolved because it was too expensive to cover before or after business hours. A reason for us not to go there again. You pay quite a bit for a pleasant evening with good food in pleasant company and the environment should be accordingly. Unfortunately for us the ambience was like a train station hall.

Goose, various dumplings, red cabbage, carrots: goose well cooked and only dry, dumplings delicious, red cabbage great, carrots unspectacular 4. Cinnamon parfait on plum mousse: very tasty Despite the wine accompaniment for €25, another glass was charged at €4.50. With 4 courses, 4 glasses, I find it very outrageous to then charge for 5. Long queue at the buffet for the main menu. Waiting in line for 30 minutes, watching a young chef carving whole ducks alone. Location, a large open space, and unfortunately very loud.

Quantity instead of class. Food was overpriced and the product quality wasn't really good. The wild boar dish was overpriced for the quantity and the savoy cabbage was burnt. The ambience is quite nice, the food was artisanal and not of good quality.

Beautifully located restaurant with a separate beer garden. The beer garden and the restaurant are right next to each other but are completely independent of each other. There are 2 different menus and the beer garden is self-service only. We were there with a small child and dog. The parking lot was large and very full, but you could find a spot. The service was extremely courteous and the food was very good. Everything is very clean and well maintained. And even though there was a lot going on when we visited and the weather was good, we didn't find it noisy or crowded. We sat outside on the terrace of the restaurant. However, there is one point that clouds the matter somewhat. The robber plate costs a fee of €2. To be honest, I find this to be outrageous and not very family-friendly. I am aware that this plate also needs to be cleaned. However, I don't receive any food and still have to pay something. In fact, I don't remember seeing this before. This should be reconsidered by the restaurant management. Therefore unfortunately only 4 instead of 5 stars.

That was my first visit. The prices are slightly above average. Next door is a playground, a beer garden, a barbecue area and it is possible to take long walks in the neighboring forest.

Very cool location and very tasty food. There has been nothing left of the former, dusty sports restaurant for a long time, but with the addition of a large beer garden including a wine bar, the Reuschwald has completely reinvented itself. The ambience in the restaurant is upscale, modern and cozy. The cuisine is Swabian and of a very, very good standard. Many components of the dishes are homemade and come from the region. For each dish, the origin of the products can be looked up on the menu. The Reuschwald service team is also very competent, quick and unobtrusive. Price-performance ratio really fits here. We always enjoy coming back.

Not that great. The spaetzle isn't good, and the baked potatoes you get in the beer garden aren't well prepared either. As somehow nothing half and nothing whole. But there is good beer.

I love the beer garden at Reuschwald with lots of trees and located right next to the forest. There is no residential area around it so that residents will not be disturbed if outdoor concerts take place there on certain evenings. Animals can seek shelter from the noise in the large forest. What's great is that the concerts are free. This gives bands the opportunity to gain further fame. The parking situation is a bit difficult. It's hard to get one on busy days. Equally difficult are the extremely long lines if you want to get something to eat or drink between 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. After that the situation is relaxed. The quality and selection of food and drink is very good and the price-performance ratio in the beer garden is very good!

Food in the restaurant is very tasty and typically Swabian. The ambience is great both inside and on the terrace, you can also go here as a group.

Reuschwald Beer Garden: The place is really nice and also great for families (playground, sports field, no road, good fries). The staff at the counter are friendly, but it is a self-service beer garden, so there is little to say about the service. About my food: expensive for low quality. Colorful salad with fried turkey means a handful of green lettuce leaves, 4 fried nugget-like pieces of metro meat and two cocktail tomatoes in one piece, that's it. Very disappointing. The pulled pork is probably the attraction, tastes so-so. The smoked fish looked good, fries are tasty, but not art either.

The food was good, but not outstanding. The service was tried hard, but completely overwhelmed. Drinks always had to be ordered several times before you got them. But the store was really very full... Ambiance is nice. The playground in front of the door is great for the kids. There was a public viewing in the beer garden. There is usually plenty of parking space - unfortunately not on the evening we were there.

We ordered catering from Reuschwald at very short notice and for 75 people and we were overwhelmed by how uncomplicated, competent and extremely pleasant our party was. From the advice to the delivery of the food to the really stress-free collection, we are happy to give it 5 out of 5 stars because we are simply very satisfied. Very, very happy again!

Very nice, lovingly modern restaurant with a particularly friendly team. Extreme attention is paid to the regional origin and quality of the raw materials. The roast beef was a dream and so was the beetroot burger. The whole thing was topped off by the super nice team. We'd love to come back

..first of all the positive things, because I'm done with it quickly. Service friendly, courteous, committed. Ambience nice and beautifully done, but incredibly bad air. We were in this restaurant for the third time today and the food was bad three times, twice. My wife had vegetarian Maultaschen that were completely overcooked and completely tasteless. I had the dumplings with chanterelles. There were exactly two small chanterelles and a lot of sauce. The dumplings were just cold and totally soft and mushy on the outside. Yes, I could now write about how disastrous the food was the second time, but I'll spare us that. It's a shame, great ambience and great service, but unfortunately you have to say, the chef definitely can't do it, A pity!

Very, very cool atmosphere, unfortunately I can only give 5 points on everything. Even though we were at the trainee menu, you would think it was a star chef! The staff is extremely friendly and will fulfill almost your every wish. They also understand any kind of fun (at least for us). So I will definitely eat here more often! I can only recommend!!!
