Simply delicious! Real Czech cuisine and a professionally tapped Pilsner Urquell. Super friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Ins Restaurant Praha kommt man ein bisschen wie nach hause. Wir haben es zufällig gefunden, hatten nicht reserviert aber trotzdem einen sehr netten Tisch im Nebenraum bekommen. Leckeres tschechisches Bier und sehr schmackhafte Gerichte zusammen mit aufmerksamem und freundlichem Service! Wir hatten den Rinderbraten-super zart und tolle Sauce. Und das Szegediner Gulasch-ebenfalls tolles Fleisch und prima gewürzt. Eine echte Empfehlung, wenn man in Hellerau und Umgebung ist. Wir kommen gern mal wieder!

Down-to-earth Bohemian cuisine.... The garlic soup and the beef tartare are recommended... Gladly again...

Food tastes good, but has become significantly more expensive. Service is OK.

The garlic soup was top, the goulash was very good, the breast in mushroom sauce was very delicate, but some spices didn't appeal to me. Overall, first class service. Unfortunately, not everyone likes this type of atmosphere, but it's worth trying something new. Kind regards

Great pub for a little detour from the city. There is Czech beer and even Kofola at reasonable prices.

We are guests here in Dresden, visiting the trade fair, and wanted to have something to eat in the evening. If you as a guest are told, “You have to be gone by 7 p.m.,” that doesn’t exactly show hospitality!! The food was probably goulash, more of a children's portion of around 150 g and then with a ready-made sauce and convenience dumplings, without a side dish, sorry but the price for this, €18.50, is not justified. When I asked, I was also told by the service that other guests found this portion to be too big. I come from the catering and service industry myself, so sorry that doesn't work that way.

When the weather is nice, it's no longer possible to sit outside after 5:45 p.m. because it's cold after 7 p.m. and the waiters don't have jackets. Food arrived quickly, but the taste was poor. Unfortunately we won't be eating here again.

I celebrated my 60th birthday 🎂. The organization and preparation of the table decorations were everything the way I wanted. There were 37 of us and the staff tried so hard to get us drinks and food together at the same time. Very friendly staff and high praise for the kitchen. Recommended at any time. Greetings M.Schmidt

Small rustic restaurant with Czech dishes. It tasted good, hearty dish. Rated as good.

Food was OK, unfortunately there was a little bit of meat in the goulash. I thought 4.50 euros for a carafe of tap water was a lot. Friendly service and the decor is nicely done.

Snotty waiters!!!! I've never experienced anything like that. After paying, the waiters talked loudly about how someone only had extra requests and there wasn't even a tip. You could hear it throughout the entire restaurant.

We discovered this gastronomic gem by chance. Czech/Bohemian cuisine also enriches the culinary offerings in Dresden. We like Mediterranean food and ate here twice during our vacation because of the Knedlik (dumplings).

The taste of the food was ok. However, value for money with four large slices of yeast dumpling and a small piece of meat, the price is too high for that. Drinks and food were served quickly. Staff was very reserved.

Great restaurant… I was there on my bike and made a stop. There are small snacks as well as real main courses. You could come here again. The plates from the people sitting next to us looked great 😅😋 A small negative point is the relatively busy road, but nobody can do anything about that 👌🏻

Tasty Czech food and drinks with friendly service

Here you can only feel comfortable. The food is super delicious and the staff is really warm and friendly. It's a shame we weren't here sooner. We'll be back very soon. Thank you very much for the great time Update: July 2024 As always, I ordered the tartare and at least I wasn't disappointed with the main course. Unfortunately the salad tasted and smelled old. Of course we also mentioned this, but the service staff had little understanding and said that the salad was from yesterday... A pity. Also considering the price development. Ps: the baby changing mat has had the same stains for about 2 years.

The food was on the table after about 5 minutes! Unfortunately only lukewarm and not very seasoned! It's a shame, I'm actually a fan of Czech cuisine?

The food was ordered within 10 minutes of ordering. If frozen goods are already lukewarm... that's also an announcement. Beef goulash for 18.50 euros with 6 pieces of meat (difficult to cut)... Given the good reviews, the restaurant was surprisingly empty at 6:30 p.m.

Huuuuge portions, incredibly reasonable pricing! Everything was so delicious, def recommend if you’re in the area if you like hearty Czech food. We had the Beef Tartare, Schnitzel and Schweinshaxe. The Haxe could’ve been crunchier on the outside but that’s just my personal preference. The service was also really really friendly and super accommodating. We had a reservation for 8 people but ended up being 12 but did their best to give us the best experience :-)

As always, great, staff very accommodating (as a regular guest, the first drink is immediately on the table without being asked). Food is very tasty at a moderate price. Uwe and Jasmin were also there and totally satisfied. Customer requests are accommodated (mashed potatoes instead of fries).

-The schnitzel didn't taste like anything -Service was very unfriendly -Croquettes were crispy and fried black -Canned coleslaw And all for an overpriced price. Please think twice if you really want to eat there.

As of 04/2024: The price screw is rotating (up to almost 25% depending on the dish), new menu (numerous dishes (unfortunately typically Czech ones) have been deleted: except for a boneless puree (supposed to be catfish, frozen on the inside) in a shell (baking dough? ) no more fish dishes at all, no duck, no homemade lemonades, etc.), portion size has shrunk considerably, the menu now says: If you want a half portion (for children), you pay 80% of the price (sic!). Having food packed costs an extra charge and if you just want to come to the terrace for a beer: “Please wait, you will be seated”. // Certainly interesting for visitors who are trying it out for the first time, but rather irritating for regular customers. Unfortunately, I had fond memories of this restaurant, so I recommended it to colleagues and we went there in a group. I was unspeakably embarrassed by what was on the plates for these prices. Quality is rather subjective, but we agreed: it's better not to repeat it.

After many years of good experiences, I left there unsatisfied for the first time yesterday. I ate schnitzel on fried potatoes. The schnitzel was good. (It would be appropriate to note that it is a giant schnitzel) But the fried potatoes had not seen a pan or anything like that. They were simply boiled and sliced ​​potatoes. Not more. I also missed the nice and friendly service. The waiter took the plate, still half full because I hadn't eaten the potatoes, without saying a word and ignored the empty glass. A pity

First of all: The food tastes really good. However, the recent enormous price increases of an average of 25% cannot be justified by either VAT or general inflation. We have been regular guests here, but will no longer come back because the price-performance ratio is simply no longer right.

Nöö, danke, bei den Preisen sind wir gern weiter gefahren, muss denn jeder über Nacht reich werden wollen? Zum Glück gibt es noch Gaststätten wo man nicht mit trockenen Knödel erschlagen wird.

Dieses Restaurant ist ein echter Geheimtipp und zeigt das es sich lohnt, wenn man sich mal etwas außerhalb umschaut. Das Essen ist großartige original tschechische Küche und mit jedem bissen bekommt man Lust auf mehr. Man bekommt für sein Geld ordentliche Portionsgrößen und kommt insgesamt für Vorspeise, Hauptgericht und Getränk mit rund 30€ hin, was möchte man mehr. Wenn wir mal wieder in der Nähe sind werden wir mit Sicherheit wieder hier einkehren.

Wir waren das 2mal zum Essen vor Ort. Sehr aufmerksame und umsichtige Bedienung hat uns heute Mittag bedient. Das Essen war reichhaltig und sehr lecker, sodass wir rundherum zufrieden waren. Auch unser Hund wurde dort sehr herzlich willkommen geheißen.

Sehr leckeres Essen und wir mussten nicht lange warten. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und nett. Alles super, wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Sehr freundliches Personal. Selbst wenn Gäste mit Hunden kamen bekamen die Hunde gleich Wasser hingestellt. Das Essen war lecker, große portionen, schnelle Zubereitung aber mit vielen fertig Produkten da sollte man vielleicht nochmal die frische bedenken und lieber 1-2€ mehr verlangen. Das Ambiente sah sehr nett aus allerdings könnte es einen neuen anstrich vertragen und die Toiletten eine besser Ausschilderung sowie Reinigung vertragen. Aber im großen und ganzen ein sehr nettes Restaurant

Leider hier nicht zum Essen gewesen. Wir waren spät abends etwas trinken. Bedienung ist sehr nett und die Getränke sehr gut. Zum Essen kann ich leider nichts sagen. Aber vielleicht beim nächsten Mal. Daher 2 Sterne nicht vergeben. Update: Wir waren im Oktober dieses Jahr an einem Samstag zum Essen dort. Essen sehr gut, leider wurden wir vor der offiziellen Schließung gedrängt doch zu zahlen. Mein Bruder fand dies nicht so gut.

Sehr leckeres, authentisches Essen und super kinderfreundliches Lokal. Wir bekamen gleich einen Kinderstuhl, es gibt eine kleine Malecke im Gastraum und einen sauberen Wickeltisch auf der Damentoilette. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und schnell. Wir haben und wohlgefühlt und empfehlen das Restaurant gerne weiter.

Das beste tschechische Restaurant außerhalb Tschechiens. Authentische Küche, freundliches Personal und im Sommer ein wunderbarer Biergarten. Achtung Reservierung wird auch in der Woche dringend empfohlen! 👍

Heute, an einem wunderschönen Sonntag mit Sonnenschein wurde uns verwehrt, ein Bier, welches wir auch am Tresen bezahlt hätten, im Biergarten zu trinken, unglaublich für ein tschechisches Restaurant Wir sind sehr sehr enttäuscht, zumal wir schon sehr oft hier waren

Das Essen ist wirklich sehr gut, aber wir mussten fast eine Stunde darauf warten,das trübte den guten Eindruck dann doch sehr.

Was für ein Reinfall. Trotz Reservierung waren keine Plätze frei. Auf allen Tischen der Vermerk "Reserviert". Das Personal hatte kein Interesse Gäste zu bewirten. Ganz nach dem Motto: Der Gast, das störende Objekt. Nicht zu empfehlen!!

Das Essen war gute hausmanskost . Jedoch waren die Bratkartoffeln blas ohne farbe und geschmack. Der Rest war ok. Der Service war freundlich.
