Delicious food and a very attentive host. The beer is also very good and definitely worth a visit.

We had dinner with our family today, along with the grandparents. And it was once again very good. Garlic soup and toasted garlic bread were a great starter. The tartar, roast beef, and beef goulash with really good dumplings and gravy for the main course were all very tasty. The little one had dumplings with gravy from the kids' menu. The portion size was just right for everyone, and everyone was well-fed. The service was always attentive, and the wait for the food was reasonable. There's also a parking space nearby if there's no space in front of the restaurant. It's probably a good idea to make a reservation. We'll definitely be back!

Friendly staff and good food! Interestingly, eating out in Saxony is quite expensive compared to the Nuremberg region and Franconian Switzerland... at least that's been my experience! But it was delicious!

We had a fantastic meal, and the price was right. The restaurant could be decorated a bit more charmingly; it's quite noisy and the walls are thin because it's rather small. All in all, though, it's always worth a visit, and the service was really friendly.

The Prag restaurant in Wernigerode impresses with a warm, family-friendly atmosphere, where even young guests feel completely at home. The restaurant also sets standards in terms of cleanliness – the restrooms are well-maintained and equipped with feminine hygiene products. An all-round perfect place for enjoyable and relaxing hours with the family.

Very friendly and attentive staff. The ambiance is fitting for a Prague restaurant, as is the beer and especially the delicious food. The food arrived shortly after ordering. For dessert, we had a crispy, sweet dumpling with cinnamon and sugar, along with Nutella and vanilla quark. It tastes so delicious and is definitely a must-try!

We enjoy visiting the restaurant, usually drinking the Czech non-alcoholic beer and always eating the delicious, traditional beef goulash with Bohemian dumplings (very plentiful and tasty, and smaller portions are also available). The staff is friendly and accommodating, often in the mood for a joke. A lovely beer garden with plenty of shady spots invites you to linger and enjoy yourself. Many thanks to the staff.

Today, my colleagues and I went to this small restaurant for lunch. Until then, I'd only heard about it. The setting is cozy, with typical beer garden chairs and the passing tram. I didn't notice the tram itself after a few minutes. The staff member who served us was friendly and, for my taste, not too pushy. Very pleasant. The food was really delicious; we all had the beef goulash, which was super tender and very, very well seasoned! Two of our group tried German cuisine, and they were also satisfied. The breading on the schnitzel, as well as the meat itself, looked great. I highly recommend it.

Unfortunately, I can't recommend this restaurant. I booked there because I wanted to spend my birthday there. Despite having a reservation, we were seated on uncomfortable chairs. The other tables were still free when we left, even though they were free. I have to say, the Czech food was really good, but the German food, or rather the salad, was completely unimaginative, lacking any seasoning or dressing. The price was a bit steep, though. We also felt the friendliness of the service left something to be desired.

Highly recommended. It has everything we need: great selection (for meat eaters 😉), delicious food, friendly service, reasonable prices, and no long wait times. We'll be back again and again.

I had schnitzel with fries and my sister had baked cheese with fries, the portions were really big, I found my schnitzel a bit thin and dry and the schnitzel and fries were actually a bit too much for me but on the whole everything was tasty and friendly.

We were in the Prague restaurant in Dresden and tried out different dishes. The Šzeged goulash, the classic goulash and the roast pork with vegetables were okay - solid home cooking, a little better than average, but nothing particularly memorable. The garlic bread as a starter was also quite good. But as soon as it deviates from the Czech specialties, the quality drops significantly. The schnitzel with fried potatoes seemed like a simple frozen product, deep fried and without any particular taste. The fried potatoes were poorly seasoned and more soft than crispy. The drinks were also standard and quite expensive. The service was friendly, but had to struggle with communication problems at times. Overall, we didn't find the price-performance ratio convincing. Conclusion: If you eat Czech classics, it's okay - you can save yourself everything else. For us it was the first and last visit.

Fantastic food, very polite and quick service. One of the best places on the section of highway 4 between Chelnitz and Dresden. We recommend it to the entire group of seven people.

A truly lovely Czech restaurant. With delicious food. Friendly service. And even though it's always very busy, you get your food very quickly. We've been there maybe 50 times and we're always happy to come back. However, you have to reserve in advance, otherwise it can be difficult to get a table.

We went to the restaurant spontaneously yesterday and even though everything was fully booked, we got a table and were allowed to stay there. The food is super tasty and the portions are very large. The employees are very friendly and have fun. We'd love to come back. Keep it up.

The food was absolutely gorgeous. Traditional dishes, reasonable prices. The meat was tender like butter, the sauerkraut was also buttery, slightly caraway and sweet. There was plenty of sauce and the dumplings were very tasty. The staff were very friendly and the restaurant is nicely decorated. Absolute recommendation! A quiet, peaceful place. The tram passing by the windows is unusually perceived, which gives it a certain romanticism. Beautiful, spacious premises, polite staff. We had dinner late, tasty dishes, liked the soup with sausages, the children ate with pleasure and were not fussy.

We had dinner there today. The food was good, the service friendly. But we didn't feel completely comfortable. We had a view of the kitchen and could overhear conversations at the counter; We found that a bit difficult.

I loved eating at their place during my 3 month stay. The meals are hearty and the beer is delicious. Certainly my review is 3 months late but I would like to recommend this restaurant. Certainly some dishes are a little expensive but if you take the specials of the day you will get value for your money 🙂👍. The only negative would be that sometimes they put too much salt on the fries.

Today we spontaneously went out for dinner, luckily there was still a table available for two people. The waiters were very friendly, the food was very good. Despite there being so much going on, everything went very quickly, so definitely highly recommended. See you soon

Ins Restaurant Praha kommt man ein bisschen wie nach hause. Wir haben es zufällig gefunden, hatten nicht reserviert aber trotzdem einen sehr netten Tisch im Nebenraum bekommen. Leckeres tschechisches Bier und sehr schmackhafte Gerichte zusammen mit aufmerksamem und freundlichem Service! Wir hatten den Rinderbraten-super zart und tolle Sauce. Und das Szegediner Gulasch-ebenfalls tolles Fleisch und prima gewürzt. Eine echte Empfehlung, wenn man in Hellerau und Umgebung ist. Wir kommen gern mal wieder!

The garlic soup was top, the goulash was very good, the breast in mushroom sauce was very delicate, but some spices didn't appeal to me. Overall, first class service. Unfortunately, not everyone likes this type of atmosphere, but it's worth trying something new. Kind regards

We are guests here in Dresden, visiting the trade fair, and wanted to have something to eat in the evening. If you as a guest are told, “You have to be gone by 7 p.m.,” that doesn’t exactly show hospitality!! The food was probably goulash, more of a children's portion of around 150 g and then with a ready-made sauce and convenience dumplings, without a side dish, sorry but the price for this, €18.50, is not justified. When I asked, I was also told by the service that other guests found this portion to be too big. I come from the catering and service industry myself, so sorry that doesn't work that way.

When the weather is nice, it's no longer possible to sit outside after 5:45 p.m. because it's cold after 7 p.m. and the waiters don't have jackets. Food arrived quickly, but the taste was poor. Unfortunately we won't be eating here again.

I celebrated my 60th birthday 🎂. The organization and preparation of the table decorations were everything the way I wanted. There were 37 of us and the staff tried so hard to get us drinks and food together at the same time. Very friendly staff and high praise for the kitchen. Recommended at any time. Greetings M.Schmidt

Food was OK, unfortunately there was a little bit of meat in the goulash. I thought 4.50 euros for a carafe of tap water was a lot. Friendly service and the decor is nicely done.

Snotty waiters!!!! I've never experienced anything like that. After paying, the waiters talked loudly about how someone only had extra requests and there wasn't even a tip. You could hear it throughout the entire restaurant.

We discovered this gastronomic gem by chance. Czech/Bohemian cuisine also enriches the culinary offerings in Dresden. We like Mediterranean food and ate here twice during our vacation because of the Knedlik (dumplings).

The taste of the food was ok. However, value for money with four large slices of yeast dumpling and a small piece of meat, the price is too high for that. Drinks and food were served quickly. Staff was very reserved.

Great restaurant… I was there on my bike and made a stop. There are small snacks as well as real main courses. You could come here again. The plates from the people sitting next to us looked great 😅😋 A small negative point is the relatively busy road, but nobody can do anything about that 👌🏻

Of course we also mentioned this, but the service staff had little understanding and said that the salad was from yesterday... A pity. Also considering the price development. Ps: the baby changing mat has had the same stains for about 2 years.

The food was on the table after about 5 minutes! Unfortunately only lukewarm and not very seasoned! It's a shame, I'm actually a fan of Czech cuisine?

The food was ordered within 10 minutes of ordering. If frozen goods are already lukewarm... that's also an announcement. Beef goulash for 18.50 euros with 6 pieces of meat (difficult to cut)... Given the good reviews, the restaurant was surprisingly empty at 6:30 p.m.

Huuuuge portions, incredibly reasonable pricing! Everything was so delicious, def recommend if you’re in the area if you like hearty Czech food. We had the Beef Tartare, Schnitzel and Schweinshaxe. The Haxe could’ve been crunchier on the outside but that’s just my personal preference. The service was also really really friendly and super accommodating. We had a reservation for 8 people but ended up being 12 but did their best to give us the best experience :-)

As always, great, staff very accommodating (as a regular guest, the first drink is immediately on the table without being asked). Food is very tasty at a moderate price. Uwe and Jasmin were also there and totally satisfied. Customer requests are accommodated (mashed potatoes instead of fries).

As of 04/2024: The price screw is rotating (up to almost 25% depending on the dish), new menu (numerous dishes (unfortunately typically Czech ones) have been deleted: except for a boneless puree (supposed to be catfish, frozen on the inside) in a shell (baking dough? ) no more fish dishes at all, no duck, no homemade lemonades, etc.), portion size has shrunk considerably, the menu now says: If you want a half portion (for children), you pay 80% of the price (sic!). Having food packed costs an extra charge and if you just want to come to the terrace for a beer: “Please wait, you will be seated”. // Certainly interesting for visitors who are trying it out for the first time, but rather irritating for regular customers. Unfortunately, I had fond memories of this restaurant, so I recommended it to colleagues and we went there in a group. I was unspeakably embarrassed by what was on the plates for these prices. Quality is rather subjective, but we agreed: it's better not to repeat it.
