The food is great, and the staff is very friendly. It's always pretty crowded, so sometimes it's not exactly cozy. But the fact that so many people enjoy eating there is partly due to the quality of the food, so it's fine.

My meal was quite good, but the salmon had so many bones that it was unfortunately inedible.

This is one of the best Greek restaurants I know. The staff is super friendly and the food tastes so delicious.

We come to the restaurant again and again and are thrilled every time. Service, cleanliness, friendly staff and so far every dish has been a pleasure. The steaks in particular are an absolute recommendation, better than in many other steakhouses. One side of the restaurant has been modernized, the other side is rustic, but both are very nice and comfortable. A clear 5 star rating for us.

We sat in the new area with five people and unfortunately we had to shout at each other so that we could understand something - it was far too crowded...

Wir haben für unseren Griechenland-Urlaub-Ersatz im eigenen Garten im Poseidon zur Selbstabholung bestellt. Das Essen war auf die Minute pünktlich fertig. Ausgesprochen lecker und wirklich sehr gute Portionen. Sehr gut verpackt, so dass es auch noch gut heiss war, als ich zu Hause ankam. Das Personal bei der Abholung war super freundlich (Uso inkl. :-)). Wir werden hier auf jedenfall wieder bestellen oder besser noch, wenn Corona es erlaubt, im Restaurant essen gehen. Daumen hoch!!

We arrive there after traveling almost fifty kilometers only to have a stuffy person with a security jacket turn us away at the entrance with the words "Today's party with buffet, closed party, entry only with a ticket". We ordered food online yesterday, March 29, 2025, because we had visitors coming. We called 30 minutes after the delivery time and got a rude reply that the online function was switched off and no delivery would be made. To be honest... this isn't the first time. I've had enough. I'm not one for negative reviews, but this is completely unacceptable!!! If you have no staff but boast about being top-notch for 30 years, that's a joke!! People... you work in the service industry and that's an absolute no-go!!! So we were left sitting at home with 5 hungry people because your restaurant was too incompetent to deliver. And this has happened again. Think about the company philosophy. All I can say is... Restaurant Poseidon in Bergheim... never again!!!

We reserved a table for two people on March 18th for March 29th and received a reminder of our reservation this afternoon. When we arrived at the restaurant, we unfortunately discovered that there was an event with a party there today, and that entry was only possible with a ticket and food and beverages. Unfortunately, we had to forgo the quiet evening with good food that we had hoped for. We found it very annoying and unprofessional that they still accepted a reservation and then, despite having contact details, didn't even inform us that there was a special event. So, thank you for nothing from us... Unfortunately, 0 stars isn't possible...

Our lamp was taken away because we changed the color. The gyros were tough and the salmon had bones in it. Shame! I didn't want onions on my gyros and I did get onions on my gyros 🤮 And the mayonnaise didn't come until I had already eaten half of it

I recently went to this upscale Greek restaurant with five friends and we loved it! The four of us shared a mixed platter and the food was simply delicious. Every dish was excellently prepared. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, which made our evening even more enjoyable. The location itself was elegantly and stylishly decorated. An absolute must for anyone who wants to enjoy authentic Greek cuisine in an upscale atmosphere. We'll definitely be back!

We visited Poseidon with 8 people and had a very nice evening with the family 👍. We were there with 2 children and the children were treated very well, compliments on that! The food was very tasty and optimal, from the starter to the generous main courses to the dessert 👌. Even though the restaurant was fully booked, we received the food relatively quickly. We were there on Boxing Day. The restaurant was packed. But it was like always... great! The service was super nice and had an overview, the food was great as always. None of the staff seemed stressed, they even took the time to joke around.

Where should I start? It is or was December 25th. It's normal that everything took a little longer. Starter was tzatziki and melitzanosalata. As I said, time doesn't matter. So the tzatziki had no taste, the garlic was definitely missing, melitzanosalata also had no taste. I didn't eat the main course because everyone else at the table was eating and even though we said 3 times that food was missing. When everyone was ready, my food arrived, which I had left packed. It's never happened to me that 3 out of 4 dishes come and the last one comes much, much later. But the killer is the behavior of the waiter. He asked if everything was ok and when he got the answer no he said it couldn't be. Unbelievable to portray me and my companion or family as liars. That was the first and last time with you. I can't recommend it at all.

The restaurant is located in Rheinhausen, Moers/Asberg border. There are limited parking spaces directly behind the building. Otherwise you can find a parking location in the surrounding streets. The restaurant has been partially renovated and has a classic layout. The renovated part looks attractive and modern. Looks comfortable and invites you to linger. The unrenovated area where we had our table is getting old and no longer looks attractive. Everything was clean and tidy, which also applied to the washing facilities. The food offered is Greek-oriented, but also offers some international dishes. The price level is high (€23.50 grill plate) and the portions are below average. So I got, on the grill plate in question, a small portion of gyros, a medium skewer and two small lamb chops. That's what it looked like on the other plates, clear quantities but a high price (except for my daughter's salad plate). Drinks menu offers everything you need/expect for a visit to a restaurant, and here too the prices are rather above average. So far the restaurant would get 2/5 but now the good... I give the meat quality 4/5 and the taste 5/5. Everything was cooked to perfection and the service was really fun. Very attentive, friendly, well informed and always had a great saying, which really enhanced the evening. To this end, sensible recommendations were made and discussed. The waiter recommended that my daughter avoid an additional dish (the S.Teller), otherwise the quantity would be too much, and this also corresponded to the facts. We had a lovely evening and that's all that matters. Can recommend the restaurant, with the restrictions mentioned above.

Great local. The staff is very friendly, helpful and humorous. The food is always extremely tasty and is served to all guests at the table at the same time. The restaurant has two very nice areas: one is more rustic and cozy, the other is more modern and bright. Both areas suit my taste. I can definitely recommend the Poseidon restaurant.
