Restaurant Platte Da Nunzio in Bad Schwalbach

Gave it another chance after a few months... and lost another star! It's absolutely incomprehensible how employees earn their living from food and have no idea what "vegan" means, or how when ordering an insalata mista (from experience, I explicitly mentioned "without cheese" twice)... they serve a run-of-the-mill salad with grated cheese on top. Really, every restaurant should lose all its stars if they don't know what "vegan" means.

It was a coincidence today, but we saw it on our route, and it was great. We'll be happy to drive the route from Wiesbanden here again and again.

We were there for the first time, invited to our daughter's 50th birthday. It was sensational, despite its huge size; everything was truly "authentic Italian." Excellent service, extremely friendly and fun, and the ambiance and food were all first-class. Highly recommended!

Portions a bit small, but that depends on the person😉

Actually everything was absolutely great. But: there was a large portion of Parmesan on the lasagne without being asked. I don't like parmesan. There was no bread with the burrata, it was weak.

Great pizzeria "above the roofs of Bad Schwalbach". In winter you sit in front of a cozy fireplace. Outside in the summer and enjoy the view. There is delicious pizza and much more here.

Drinks list added. Forgot cappuccino. Food order taken. Forgot pizza. Fish dish not done properly. Koch has to follow suit. The waiter made a lot of effort to put everything back in order. I think service is very great. But the food wasn't special. Pizza Margherita too much sauce too little. Cheese for €13.90 small pizza 26 cm. Unfortunately with such a price for such quality. Can't find one. From my experience in gastronomy, I unfortunately have to recommend the restaurant. Yes, don't eat. The last thing is very high in price compared to the quality. Hope for improvement.

Pleasant atmosphere and great food

Not recommended around Easter. The food was excellent as always, but at Easter you only get a third of the normal menu to choose from. You have to put the pizza together yourself (plus it's even more expensive than on the normal menu). Unfortunately, absolutely not satisfactory.

The food was great, but I would particularly like to highlight the staff. We received a very friendly welcome and were served attentively and professionally throughout our visit. The waiters were cheerful, helpful and always available without being intrusive. A service that made the evening perfect!

The antipasto was better, lots of cheese and tomatoes, I know it differently. Pizza was okay and the service was very good

The Platte Da Nunzio restaurant has been our favorite when it comes to eating Italian with the family for years! The tiramisu is particularly recommended.

A very nice restaurant with very attentive service. No plates were left empty in front of you; every table was occupied. You were asked discreetly if you had any wishes, but a no was politely accepted. It was very pleasant to have service around without being intrusive. I felt completely at home and have rarely had such a pleasant feeling in a restaurant. The food was also very nicely prepared, the quality of the food was really outstanding, fresh, regional, very well seasoned, what can I say.... simply delicious. Leftovers are packed up to take away without having to ask. All in all a very nice evening!

Were there for the first time today. Food was really great. The waiters were friendly at all times The only downer. The hall was very full and therefore very loud. We were basically back to back to our neighbors. Nevertheless, we will definitely come back. :)

Pizza tasted good but unfortunately only lukewarm and I hate lukewarm food

Today we ate with 4 people at Da Nunzio and were more than satisfied. After we were assigned our reserved table, the extremely friendly and helpful service immediately came and took our order. We had beef carpaccio, vitello tonnato, spaghetti parmigiano, two pizzas, lasagna - for dessert creme brulee and a soft chocolate cake. All dishes were lovingly prepared and tasted excellent!!! Even if you have to add one or two euros to the price... it's definitely worth a visit there. We'll definitely be back, that's what it has to taste like at the Italian restaurant!!!!!

Well there are many Italian restaurants in Germany and I've already gotten to know a lot and I'm completely surprised by such a beautifully landscaped property. The restaurant is located on a hill and has a nice stable terrace with a beautiful view. But now to the food. There is an extensive menu that leaves little to be desired. There were five of us there and we each ordered something different. The waiters were friendly and quick with the order and the service. The various dishes were very well seasoned and wholesome. Yes, the whole thing was a nice experience that we will definitely repeat. In my review I give 5 stars + 1 star for the overall appearance of this restaurant Da Nunzio, ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️+⭐️ !

Called spontaneously on Sunday evening and got a table for eight people. The location is beautiful, the food is incredibly tasty, the staff is excellent! Exceptionally large staff, I only know that from vacation! I'm really looking forward to dining here in the summer. We'll be happy to come back!

A super delicious pizza that you rarely get anywhere! I was in rehab and ate there often. Prices are high, but you get something on offer. If I had more time, desire and money, I would have tried the card in 4 weeks. I'm back home and will miss your pizza. Keep it up!

Great atmosphere and super nice service.

The service and food was great. We had the 3 three kinds as a starter and pasta from the cheese wheel as our main course. Simply a dream. It is served at the table. That's quite an eye-catcher. Even though I had reserved, we were supposed to sit at a very narrow table for two. We are both very tall and the waiter noticed that we weren't comfortable and moved us. I notice more and more often (also in other restaurants) that when there are two of you, you usually have to get the cat table, which we don't think is good at all. The waiter did everything right! We'll be back.

My calamari was a bit rubbery, but it's rare to get it fresh in Germany. The other guests probably enjoyed the food. Ambience is nice, there is a large terrace outside with a nice view. The inside is also very nice and clean, the waiters are nice and attentive. Value for money, prices are a little higher for the food than they should be. The calamari cost €19 without a side dish, and a tiny fries cost €4.90. And even the sauces are an extra €3 so it becomes outrageous in my eyes. The bottles of wine also start at around €28. So overall, you can do it. But it definitely won't be my regular place.

Ein schönes Ambiente . große Terrasse und schön zu sitzen. Das Lokal wird ja immer sehr gelobt . Hatte mich für Spaghetti Carbonara entschieden welche mich geschmacklich enttäuscht haben. Auch die Lasagne meiner Bekanntzen war nach ihren Aussagen eher lala. Der Salat mit Ziegenkäse und Hühnerbruststreifen entsprach den Vorstellungen meiner anderen Begleitung. Was mich auch hier gestört hat ist, dass diue Lokale fast alle dazu übergenen, für die Beilagen extra zu kassieren. Es gibt kaum noch Komplettangebote, als wäre ein Steak , ein Schnitzel oder ähnliches ein Essen. Die Bedienung waarsehr freundlich, kam aber für meine Begriffe zu oft gelaufen um zu fragen ob alles in Ordnung sei. Wenn jemand nicht so viel trinken kann, mag bezahlt man lieber und geht

One of the worst lasagne The lasagna was warmed up and still cold inside. It was then warmed up. But just keep warm! The freshness, the juicy and the bechamel were missing. The peas in it...well...you can do it, but you don't have to. For me, peas don't belong in lasagna. But not so bad if it had at least been tasty.

An upscale Italian restaurant with a good selection of food and drinks and an attractive dessert menu. I missed a bit more warmth as a guest, but the bottom line is that I recommend it.

Three 5 stars, but only 4 overall - why? For the following reason: We were there at 12 noon with a friend who is unfortunately hard of hearing. The weather was good, we sat outside and actually wanted to eat in peace and chat. But unfortunately loud carts with crates of drinks were constantly rattling around the outside area. And as if that wasn't enough, a truck with loud cooling fans was parked nearby for at least half an hour. This really disrupted our conversation and the delivery should be timed so that the guests are not disturbed, i.e. BEFORE the restaurant opens. If it hadn't been for that, everything would have been perfect!

It's always better! But the price performance and taste as well as the size of the dishes are completely okay. Staff very attentive and friendly. Had a perfect rum steak with great baked potatoes and a nice fresh side salad. Homemade lemonade lives up to its name. Definitely coming back!
