Wir lieben die freundliche Zuvorkommenheit des Teams. Das Essen schmeckt fast immer. Wem es nicht schmeckt, der hat falsch gewählt. Man sollte dies jedoch gleich nach dem Probieren mitteilen. Dann wird gerne geholfen.

Akzeptables „griechisches“ deutsches Essen.

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und schnell, das Essen schmeckt gut, man fühlt sich willkommen und möchte gerne wieder kommen, sehr empfehlenswert

Unser Stammgrieche. Haben keinen besseren in der Umgebung gefunden. Macht weiter so.

Bei meinem letzten Besuch war es schön. Heute war ich mit meiner Familie dort und wir mussten etwa 30 Minuten warten, nur um zu bestellen, und dann noch einmal 45 Minuten, bis wir das Essen bekamen. Kinder warten nicht gern. Unprofessionell!

Sehr grosse Auswahl in der Speisekarte. Preise sind okay. Essen war sehr lecker.

War wie immer sehr lecker, super Service, Schönes Ambiente, wir fühlen uns wohl und kommen immer wieder gerne. Mit dem Fahrrad ist immer ein Parkplatz frei, mit dem Auto muss man manchmal ein wenig suchen, weil es ist gut besucht!! Würde gerne ein Bild vom Essen posten und dem leckeren Cappuccino. Waren Christi Himmelfahrt dort essen. Das war das letzte Mal. Man hat wirklich gemerkt das Stammgäste bevorzugt werden. Haben noch eine Cola bestellt und nach 10 Minuten war die immer noch nicht da, ausserdem war das bifteki total verbrannt und der Spieß kam wohl aus der Mikrowelle, Gyros total versalzen und dafür 20 Euro zu verlangen ist eine frechheit.

Sehr leckeres Essen, große Portionen und super freundlicher Service 😊 Das Gyros war perfekt gewürzt und die Metaxasauce richtig lecker. Man fühlt sich direkt willkommen. Gemütliche Atmosphäre . Kommen auf jeden Fall wieder 👍👍

Super Service und leckeres Essen.

Ich das erste Mal nach vielen Jahren wieder bei Platon und dieses Mal sehr positiv überrascht. Das Personal war sehr freundlich & gut gelaunt (obwohl es sehr voll und stressig war), das Essen war sehr lecker und wir haben nur kurz (ca 30 Mins) gewartet (Vorspeise gab es aber nach 5 Mins). Wir haben haben abends noch spontan einen Tisch für 2 Personen reservieren können und die Location ist schön. Insgesamt war es ein schöner Abend :)

Die Teller wurden lange nicht weg geräumt. Der nächste Gang kam und wurde zu die leeren Teller einfach dazu gestellt. Dad essen war sehr trocken. Und sehr kleine Portionen

Sehr freundliches Personal und für den Preis kriegt man auch sehr gutes und sehr vieles Essen. Das Fleisch sehr genau und sehr zart. Aber die Messer sind schon stumpf.

Zahlung mit Karte aber nicht mot Visa... am Ende musste ich raus um Geld abzuheben und bar zu bezahlen. Das Essen war gut.

Ausgestattet mit billigsten Möbeln. Ohne Tiefgang, ohne Geschmack. Ein oberflächliches Restaurant mit oberflächlichem Essen. Einfach nur ein weiteres unterdurchschnittliches griechisches Restaurant.

Schönes Restaurant. Hell und gemütlich eingerichtet. Leider war die Dorade frittiert und auch versalzen. Das Lamm (Nr. 97) war ein dicker Klumpen auf dem Teller das 2 grosse Knochen beinhaltete. Das hätte man appetitlicher und ohne Knochen anrichten können. Die Kartoffelscheiben waren trocken. Schade.

Sehr schönes Restaurant mit angenehmem Ambiente. Das Essen hat bisher immer sehr gut geschmeckt und die Bedienung ist toll. Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen.

Waren heute am 14.2.26 hier essen. War wie immer sehr lecker und auch so alles gut. Hatte noch Eesen übrig zum mitnehmen, Lammkottlet und Zazicki, was mir leider zusammen eingepackt wurde. Fand ich nicht so lecker da das Fleisch in dem Dipp lag. Schade daran müsste noch gearbeitet werden Ansonsten alles super.

Waren heute zum ersten Mal dort. Wir können uns den vielen positiven Bewertungen nur anschließen. Hier stimmt alles, besonders das Fleisch war super lecker.

Ich hatte zum ersten Mal in meinem Leben die Gelegenheit, Steak zu essen. Das Fleisch selbst, medium rare gebraten, hat mich nicht vom Hocker gerissen, aber zusammen mit der Soße und den Gewürzen war es sehr lecker. Der Service war sehr freundlich. Natürlich gab es, wie in einem griechischen Restaurant üblich, einen kostenlosen Ouzo. Insgesamt eine sehr angenehme Atmosphäre.

Das Essen ist ok. Der Preis für die gebotene Qualität ist an der Grenze zu teuer. Die Bedienung und die Location gefällt mir.

Freundlich und kompetentes Personal. Eßen ist sehr lecker. Waren nun zum Weihnachtsessen dort, wie immer Personal, Speisen und Lokal sind Top.

Ich kann es nur empfehlen, man wird herzlich wie von alten Freunden empfangen, und das Essen ist köstlich und preiswert.

Der Service war leider, an dem Tag wo wir mit einer Gruppe von 8 Personen dort waren, sehr träge. Preis Leistung ist sehr gut, aber Durst darf man nicht mitbringen 😉

Delicious food Friendly and welcoming staff

The food was delicious. The service was very friendly. There was a bit of a wait, as it's always busy, but it was worth it.

We visited "Planton" for the first time today. The food is excellent – ​​from appetizers to main courses. The price-performance ratio is great. Similar restaurants in the Neuss/Düsseldorf area are significantly more expensive. The only downside: the service. Don't get me wrong – everyone is doing their best. But it's so busy that it's simply impossible to serve all the guests more quickly. This is a shame from both the guests' and the restaurant's perspective. We were there for almost two and a half hours, but were only able to order two drinks in that time – which is how restaurants make their money. Despite this, I'm still giving it five stars. Everyone was very friendly and extremely helpful. I don't know if this is the case here, but restaurants are desperately looking for staff, and that's probably why we had to wait longer than we would have liked. We'll definitely be back.

This was our second time there and I was very disappointed with the food. It was overly peppery, the mushrooms came from a jar, and we waited a very long time for the food, which, apart from the meat, consisted entirely of pre-made ingredients…

This place gets packed in the evenings – and rightly so! Fast, young service, a wide selection of food and drinks (four different variations of saganaki alone!), delicious food (my recommendation: souvlaki with feta), absolutely fair prices, and a beautiful, modern restaurant. During the week, the first tables were occupied within minutes, but we still managed to find a spot in the lovely conservatory. The only downside: no on-site parking, and in the adjacent industrial area, you should be aware of parking restrictions and driveway entrances.

It was our first time there and we'll be back. We received a very warm welcome, and the service was super friendly. The food was very good, and the value for money was excellent.

Unfortunately, we waited over 75 minutes for the food. But it was delicious.

We've eaten at Platon in Giesenkirchen several times. It gets very busy, especially on weekends, but thanks to good organization and a sufficient number of waiters, we had no problems getting attention. The food is really good, so we'll be happy to come back. Unfortunately, the prices are also quite steep; for two people and two or three starters, €60 to €65 is not uncommon. That's the downside, unfortunately. Hence one star less :)

It was very tasty and not dry. I didn't have a skewer, though, which are always a bit tricky 😉. Not exactly cheap all in all, but it was good. You don't make it every day.

Unfortunately, it's now only mediocre. The food is good, but the staff is completely overwhelmed. It seems as if at times more tables are reserved than capacity. We waited almost an hour for our food, or rather the appetizer salad. That shouldn't have happened... Update from 3 to 2 stars: After giving this place another chance and hoping that the last experience was a one-off, we were disappointed again. Again, we waited for OVER AN HOUR because the staff preferred to handle larger groups rather than serve two dishes. There was a hair on my bread. So, this was definitely the last time!

The beer garden wasn't actually open due to the persistent thunderstorms. But since I wanted to sit outside and was alone, an exception was made! I quickly received a delicious latte macchiato and a salad. Then, as a violent thunderstorm broke out, but I was sitting dry under the large parasol, my ordered kiss was brought to me through the rain! Later, it cleared up, and we were able to chat a bit. I didn't know that the mill also sells fresh and smoked trout. This wish was granted, too! On summer weekends, they also grill fish! Such service has unfortunately become very rare. I will recommend the restaurant and will definitely be happy to come back with friends!

We had dinner at Platon today. It was our third visit and unfortunately we were extremely disappointed. The food was perhaps a good three, but the service was unfortunately very slow and absolutely not attentive. We weren't even given the ouzo that always comes as a welcome and there was nothing after the meal either! Unfortunately very disappointing for such a well advertised Greek! Unfortunately that was our last visit to the Platon!

It was a pleasure...😋😋😋 the food tasted great, the waitresses are friendly, came regularly and asked if everything was okay, if something was missing, or if you wanted any drinks. The atmosphere is very cozy and inviting. We ate at Platon for the first time because of the good reviews. We pre-booked a table and the restaurant was already full at around 5:30 p.m. We sat in the winter garden where several patio heaters were set up. Generally it was pleasantly warm, but the cold was getting quite high from below. The atmosphere was quite pleasant, but a bit cramped and loud. The reception and the staff were very friendly, tried hard, attentive and quick. The menu was very extensive. We had 2x gyros with tzatziki, fries, rice and salad. The portions were plentiful and tasted very good. The gyro meat in particular was tender and to the point. The price-performance ratio is perfect. My highlight was, among other things, the espresso. It is served with a biscuit, although these are not standard biscuits, but with a chocolaty, creamy filling. Conclusion: We will definitely come back because we felt very comfortable.

There's really nothing wrong here. We drive an extra 20 minutes to eat here. The portions are good and plentiful, the service is good - the people are warm and humorous. Everything fine.

We went to the Platon restaurant and had a wonderful evening. The service was super nice and attentive, you immediately felt welcome. The ambience is very cozy and authentic, just like you would want for a Greek restaurant. The food was delicious, with fresh ingredients and tasted great.
