We are simply overjoyed and grateful that we were able to celebrate our wedding at the mill. From the very beginning, we felt incredibly comfortable with Aylin and her team – they are kind-hearted people who bring so much love and commitment to their work. The two years we were in contact were so beautiful and personal, and we are truly sad that this wonderful time is now over. The pre-wedding event was an absolute must for us! It was not only a fantastic opportunity to sample the food and choose wines, but also a wonderful moment to connect with other couples before the big celebration. The best part was that we met a couple who are now our friends – a beautiful memory we will never forget. The wedding day itself was simply perfect. Aylin and her team provided incredible service; everything ran smoothly and with so much attention to detail. It was an unforgettable experience that far exceeded our expectations. We celebrated our wedding in April of this year with around 60 people in the "Mühlrad" ballroom at the Pfrondorfer Mühle. The location, right on the river, is simply gorgeous. The spacious outdoor area is perfect for the champagne reception after the ceremony and is ideal for a fireworks display. From the initial consultation to the reception itself, everything went smoothly. We immediately liked Aylin and was there to help us with advice and support throughout the planning process. She was particularly attentive at our wedding, saving our wedding dance with a safety pin for our dress. She saved food for our pyrotechnician and served it later. During the group photos, Aylin brought me the forgotten bridal bouquet. We are very happy to have chosen the Pfrondorfer Mühle as our wedding venue and will remember this wonderful day for a long time to come. Once again, a heartfelt thank you to Aylin and the entire Pfrondorfer Mühle team.

There were 14 of us celebrating my wedding, and all our wishes were fulfilled very professionally and with the utmost friendliness. The food arrived at the same time for everyone and quite quickly. We received excellent service and are looking forward to our next visit ♡

The bathroom needs to be repainted; there's mold on the ceiling. The breakfast buffet is very poor, rather substandard. The butter was out, there was no coffee, and after a complaint, the lady first refilled our juice. It took a long time for the coffee to arrive. The tables are either not cleared by the previous user or completely set, which is nonsense. Anyone can sneeze on them, and you have to get your own plates and cutlery anyway. After the coffee is brought, the next table with used dishes isn't cleared immediately, and people had to beg for space to eat breakfast. Oh, my goodness, for 140 euros per night, you can expect more. The sign outside says 4 stars, but the accommodation provider says 3 stars. Ridiculous; it deserves a maximum of 2 stars if the aforementioned deficiencies are improved. Expensive, remote, and the service leaves a lot to be desired. I wouldn't recommend it.

We wanted/had to replan a few things before the preparations, but the team at the Pfrondorfer Mühle was incredibly flexible and extremely well-prepared. The food was also perfect, and our guests had a wonderful time. We would do it again!

WHAT A SHAME, THIS BAD IMPRESSION: Booked something "good" here for a long time with an appointment, then casually handed over the room, not OK: dirty fluff, broken safe, etc., window facing the restaurant... protest only by phone ("Superior"?) & pressure to find new accommodation..... Do you want something like that???

We were there a week ago for lunch, Saturday. The menu reads nicely and the food came very quickly. The service was friendly. But unfortunately the quality of the food was poor. Unfortunately I can only agree with the current bad reviews. We have rarely eaten so badly for so much money. A layer of skin formed on top of the mushroom cream sauce. The tomato soup tasted like ready-made soup, and the spaetzle had a strange brown crumb mixture on it. The mushrooms were shriveled, some of the vegetables were woody, the meat was okay. I didn't eat almost two thirds of everything to protect my stomach. Overall, it's a shame, because the ensemble with the mill and stream are actually really inviting.

Nice rooms at a very good price. Great restaurant with friendly service. Nice location. Not too noisy despite the proximity to the street. Rooms aren't super modern, but very well maintained (exception: the bathroom was recently renovated and very modern). I'll be back.

Fantastic wedding venue! We celebrated our big day here in October 2024 and received warm and competent support from the entire team. Aylin, in particular, was by our side from the very beginning, showing us the two possible locations and explaining all the options for a wedding celebration down to the smallest detail. The entire process is very transparent, and over the years, the Pfrondorfer Mühle has established many contacts with service providers, for whom they have an extensive list of recommendations. At the pre-wedding event, each year the bride and groom have the opportunity to meet some of the service providers well in advance of the wedding and also sample some of the food and beverage selection. To our knowledge, this offer isn't available at other venues, and it's incredibly helpful when choosing. Our outdoor wedding ceremony took place in the fall right by the river, after we got ready in the suites with our witnesses. Everything was perfectly organized from the start, and despite the unstable weather, we were given every opportunity to move the ceremony indoors until the very last minute. After booking, coordination with service providers is largely handled directly with the mill, which makes communication much easier for the bride and groom. The food at the buffet was perfectly prepared, and our friends and relatives praised it highly. The service also scored highly for its speed and unobtrusiveness. After a long celebration in the hall, we collapsed exhausted but happy into bed in our suite, which, like the other rooms, is on the same property. Of our approximately 90 guests, all who wanted to stay overnight had the opportunity to do so. The next morning, we were able to reflect on the magnificent celebration over breakfast together. We are incredibly happy that we were able to spend this wonderful day at the Pfrondorf Mill and would like to thank the entire team once again.

We had the pleasure of getting married here. It was a dreamlike experience. The team, the location, the food—everything was perfect and stress-free.

We were looking for a location for our wedding and came across the Pfrondorfer Mühle. After a "test meal" we unfortunately complained about the heat of the food. Unfortunately, some of the meat was lukewarm at most. However, in terms of taste, everything was fine. When we wanted to come again for dinner with several people, the manager of the house canceled it "in a friendly manner between the lines". In our opinion, there is no room for criticism... there is probably no need to organize such events... what a shame!

Why this review? - The three of us arrived at 12:40 - We wanted to order two appetizers - One starter was out, so it just stayed with one - Suddenly the main course arrived - We complained about the missing starter - The waitress started arguing (and then stopped coming to our table) - We waited 20 minutes for the starter - The main course was served at 1:55 p.m - All three dishes were lukewarm - The sauce had already formed a skin and the champions had shrunk to the size of a little fingernail - The spaetzle in the bowl was fridge-cold on one side - Some parsnip cubes were raw - We complained, was our main course of briefly fried meat kept warm for 45 minutes? - It was claimed that everything is freshly cooked - The senior chef said that stir-fried food is 58° and cannot be hot - The spaetzle came back to the table warmed up after 1 minute - 10min. Later, the neighboring table also complained about the cold spaetzle - In the evening two people had diarrhea Conclusion, personal impression: Getting old, the menu has significantly deteriorated, the standard does not correspond to the prices, unable to deal with errors - an unforgettable Sunday

As a family we have often been here in this beautiful hotel-restaurant complex. Both as guests at a wedding and on a Sunday for a christening celebration, we were warmly welcomed by the family-run owners, the Weirowski family. The food buffet was excellent and the service was perfect. Here you not only get all the well-kept rooms, but also a beautiful view of the river outside. There are also a lot of leisure activities in the surrounding area. We could write more positive lines, but then it would certainly not end.😇💝

I rate the hotel and the restaurant separately. The hotel is located on a federal highway, but there was no traffic noise to be heard in our room. We had booked a deluxe room, which was okay in size, but very outdated. Wallpaper dirty and loose towards the ceiling, small sofa with holes, joints on the bathtub black and fittings covered with verdigris. However, the visit to the restaurant was great. Very friendly welcome and support throughout the evening, great food and very tasty. Conclusion: Hotel a flop 1 star, restaurant top 5 stars.

We were in the Pfrondorfer Mühle restaurant with a larger group and it was just great. Very good food, freshly prepared and extremely tasty, really nice service and, above all, excellent organization. Every order arrived correctly, almost at the same time despite the many guests, even with special requests. We will definitely come back.

We celebrated our wedding at the Pfrondorfer Mühle (mill wheel) and had our dream wedding there. The Mühlrad ballroom is stunning, and our 85 guests had plenty of room. The attached hotel is also very convenient, allowing our guests who had a long journey to stay overnight on-site. The bridal suite was fantastic and served as a great place for styling and getting ready before the reception. The Pfrondorfer Mühle is picturesquely located directly on the Nagold River, and we were able to hold our outdoor wedding ceremony here in the countryside. The mill and surrounding area also offered many beautiful motifs for the photo shoot (insider tip: the wooden bridge nearby). The Pfrondorfer Mühle is exceptionally culinary, and we were thrilled with the champagne reception, BBQ buffet, and dessert. The staff are all very friendly and accommodating. The highlight is the junior manager, Aylin Weirowski, who provided us with incredible support during the planning and, at the pre-wedding event, was able to give us a rough idea of ​​our wedding and put us in touch with service providers. She also managed everything superbly in the background during the wedding.

We celebrated our civil wedding in the Kornstüble in the Pfrondorfer Mühle and what can I say? It was a dream! The team did the decorating for us and we just gave them our table decorations and were super surprised at how harmoniously everything was done. Ms. Rosalie Weirowski was also a super competent and friendly contact person from the start, with whom we immediately felt at home. We received a lot of praise from our guests for the menu. For us it was a harmonious, beautiful and cozy day. The rooms in which we and our family stayed were also incredibly beautiful. Great restaurant with great quality at fair prices

We went to the Pfrondorfer Mühle for goose today and what can I say, we can only recommend it. Mega tasty, the red cabbage is a dream and the rest tastes really delicious too. The service is very friendly.

A really good meal. Meals could be a little more sophisticated. E.g. place a whole “unpeeled” shrimp on top of the “unpeeled” ones or play a little more with colors. But it doesn't affect the quality. Portions more than sufficient. Ambience pleasant. Service top. You feel comfortable all around. The slightly higher prices are absolutely justified. Always my pleasure. Was there again today. Food and service were again impeccable. Highly recommended.

The Pfrondorfer Mühle as a wedding location is so beautiful and can only be recommended. We celebrated our wedding in the event tent in mid-September 2024 and it was simply fantastic. The wedding ceremony took place right next to the river in the countryside, which was really idyllic. The food was really tasty and we received a lot of positive feedback from our guests. There is also the possibility of accommodating guests in the Pfrondorfer Mühle. That was very clever for us. The bridal suite in the Mühlturm was absolute madness. Since it looked like it would rain on our wedding day, we rented gazebos, so there are rain alternatives too! In the end it didn't rain, but better safe than sorry. We were well supported by Aylin right from the start since booking. Thank you very much again for this! We were able to contact her with any question and always received a prompt response to our emails. All in all, we can only praise the cooperation and support from Pfrondorfer Mühle.

Craziness. Just crazy! The Pfrondorfer Mühle does everything it can to create a breathtaking, unforgettable experience. We were there as a wedding party and felt more than comfortable. The service is always courteous and helpful, the employees are absolutely friendly and the contact person for all wedding matters has simply found her calling. With so much laughter on my face and a solution to every problem - I am very impressed. The food was super awesome. It started with the great selection of tarte flambée at the champagne reception, then continued with a super delicious starter salad. I was skeptical as to whether onion roast could work at the buffet - and whether the Pfrondorfer Mühle could do that. Nothing is impossible here. However, I lost my heart to the mushroom cream sauce, which I would have liked to get an annual subscription for (or alternatively, a bathtub full of it 🤤). I've never eaten a better one! Only the tiramisu in the glass was not to my taste. But I was already floating on clouds. Dear Pfrondorfer Mühle, you get everything out of your hotel and restaurant, you have a great team and fair prices. I'll definitely come back to eat mushroom cream sauce! The Pfrondorfer Mühle is exactly the right location for the most beautiful day of your life. We were lucky enough to be able to celebrate our wedding there with 60 guests at the beginning of September 2024, and it was a dream from the beginning of the planning to the end of the celebration. Located directly on the Nagold, the restaurant/hotel with garden is an idyllic place surrounded by greenery and easy to reach from Stuttgart. Aylin Weirowski is the most competent, friendly and flexible organizing talent I have ever met, and you can just tell how much practice and routine her team has in organizing weddings and celebrations - this means that everything you want can happen smoothly and without any hassle a lot of effort! The service and food on the wedding day were outstanding; all the employees were very polite, courteous and always available to help and advise. We had one of the most beautiful and relaxing days of our lives and can only recommend it to every couple!

We wanted to go somewhere special for our birthday. And back when it was still owned by Walter, it was really great. The quality is still very good and very high, but the portion is far too small for the price. They even saved money on the Spätzler, the pot you see in the picture was just for three people, it's just not enough. The service wasn't overly friendly, it was just normal. The atmosphere of the guests was very creepy - there were just a lot of old people who didn't laugh or talk to each other - a very unpleasant atmosphere. The air was also very stuffy and gave you a headache. Price-performance ratio is not given, especially because of the small portion size

In August 2024 we celebrated our wedding at the Pfrondorfer Mühle, which we would like to recommend. The location is beautifully located with a large green meadow and on the beautiful Nagold River. Plus, the venue has a hotel where wedding guests can stay, which is very convenient! All rooms are reserved by the hotel for the wedding guests, really perfect! The food and wines were truly a highlight and we received many compliments from our guests! But beyond that, the organization by Pfrondorfer Mühle was simply perfect. Aylin Weirowski is knowledgeable, competent, extremely helpful and likes to think ahead! Thanks to her many years of experience, she also brings in many good ideas that you wouldn't think of yourself. We couldn't have wished for a better contact person and organizer!

Our wishes were always taken into account and Aylin was always there to help and advise us during the setup and on the day of the wedding to ensure that we had a perfect wedding. We really felt very comfortable. The location is beautifully situated with a large garden on the Nagold. The service was extremely courteous and not at all intrusive. Our wedding meal was super delicious. All of our guests were completely thrilled by the location and the food. We can only recommend this location for weddings, celebrations and as an excursion destination. The outside area is nicely designed and has good shading. Unfortunately, the food doesn't do justice to the high prices. On the positive side, the gluten-free diet is well catered for.

We had dinner outside with 6 people last Saturday. Everyone enjoyed it very much, despite the wedding next door it went quickly, friendly service and the junior manager and head chef Alex do their best to ensure that all the guests are happy. We will be back.

Wir hatten Kräutersuppe mit Pfifferlingen, Hochzeitssuppe, Rostbraten, 1/2 Hähnchen, Fischfilet, die Enkel 1x Chicken Nuggets und Spätzle mit Sauce. Ich kann die negativen Kommentare hier in keinster Weise nachvollziehen, da alles sehr sehr gut war. Der Service ist auch ganz toll. Wir werden hier definitiv wieder einkehren

TOP restaurant with great cuisine, it's a shame that I didn't know the location beforehand. Service is also great. Here you get the best quality at reasonable prices. My steak was excellent, tender and well cooked. The sauce and herb butter were a dream, we definitely weren't here for the last time. Addendum: Unfortunately I now have to deduct a star. We've been there twice more in the meantime. Unfortunately, the second time the service and the food were no longer convincing; I attributed this to a wedding party that probably required full attention. This time we were there during the week, it was well attended but far from full. The food was good, but unfortunately it didn't live up to our expectations. We had a Wiener Schnitzel and a cordon bleu, both made from veal. The price of just under 30 euros per dish, without a side salad, also raised corresponding expectations. Unfortunately, the breading on both dishes wasn't really crispy, the taste was OK but not great, so we were a little disappointed. There was nothing to complain about when it came to service, everything was great.

My husband and I had dinner at Pfrondorfer Mühle a few days ago. When we arrived there wasn't much going on and the service was always friendly and attentive. For starters we ordered black tiger prawns with stone oven bread. The price was almost €18. Unfortunately we discovered that the “prawns” were 5-7 small shrimp from the supermarket. These were lying in a puddle of oil. The stone oven bread was nothing more than a baked ciabatta. Probably also from the supermarket around the corner. For the main course I chose the trout (around €25). My husband chose the Swabian roast (€30.50). The trout was nicely prepared, but it was completely over salted. Unfortunately the roast was not medium rare (as ordered) and unfortunately very gristly or stringy. The spaetzle served with it was also not homemade and tasted like the shrink-wrapped ones from the supermarket. For dessert we chose a raspberry/cream cake. Unfortunately, it was already a little stiff, which was evident from the quark cream and the dark raspberries. However, the taste was okay. The invoice came after repeated requests, unfortunately very late. As the restaurant became more crowded toward the end of our visit, service also declined significantly. Unfortunately I cannot give this restaurant a good rating. The prices are completely exorbitant because the food is not of the high quality standard that you expect when you look at the menu and are ultimately prepared to pay. A pity!

I've been there twice this year as a DJ at a wedding. The weddings couldn't have been more different. One in the bright sunshine outside in the tent, with a great lounge area. The other inside with flexible space and plenty of space for celebrations. Both times the Pfrondorfer Mühle team impressed with their friendliness and great service. And guests are known to be the toughest critics ;) We can only recommend this location for weddings, celebrations and as an excursion destination. Unfortunately, the food was no longer good, carelessly prepared and the quality unfortunately did not correspond to the price level. The entire group was disappointed. Service was friendly and it was nice to sit outside, but unfortunately this was our last visit.

I usually start with the good things, but today it's the other way around. The prices are completely exorbitant despite inflation. I'll only put up with charging well over 40 euros for a fillet with fried potatoes if the standard is appropriate. That's why I grabbed the fillet tips. They were very good and so was the sauce, but I wouldn't have expected ready-made spaetzle from Lidl and frozen vegetables without any salt. The rest of the guests weren't any better either. A salad with "Black Tiger Shrimp" should not contain poorly cooked and scanty cocktail shrimp. In general, the food is not well seasoned and quite cold and sometimes very cold. 3 out of 4 plates were very carelessly prepared. As mentioned, you have to expect more for the price level. Of course we complained about it, but all we received from service was silence. When I mentioned supposed shrimp, I was only told that there are different sizes. That's probably true, but 2cm diameter are probably very small Baby Black Tigers. So now to the good things, the ambience is already there and the restaurant was very good a few years ago (it has always been a guest once a year for the last few years), but has steadily declined. I strongly suspect that was the last time.

Were there today with a larger group. Service was attentive and courteous. Food was good, with the exception of the vegetarian dishes, which were small and quite special (risotto). The prices for main courses and dessert were not reasonable and ~20% too high.

If you are looking for a top wedding location, the Pfrondorfer Mühle is definitely the right place! We celebrated our wedding at Pfrondorfer Mühle in June 2024 and it was the best decision we could have ever made! Dear Aylin was at our side from the start with advice and support and always made the impossible possible with a lot of passion and tireless commitment. From the free wedding ceremony in the countryside directly on the Nagold to the celebration in the event tent with outstanding service, everything was simply perfect! Our guests also felt very comfortable and highly praised the delicious food and excellent service. A big THANK YOU at this point to Alex and the entire kitchen team for the delicious wedding menu! We will remember this day forever and it will certainly not be the last time we are guests at the Pfrondorfer Mühle.

Idyllically located, really nice hotel with TOP cuisine. The game cuisine from local hunts is particularly popular. Always worth a trip.

Great location for a birthday party We celebrated my birthday with a larger group at the Pfrondorfer Mühle. The preparation with Ms. Weirowski was top notch in all aspects and everything went wonderfully at the party. I have to say that the Mühlrad ballroom with the adjacent banquet room was absolutely ideal, especially with the children. There is also a nice place for performances or for musicians. The staff was always present, even during the preparation the day before, and served and supported us in a very friendly manner. The food we were served was very good. We were very satisfied and our guests, some of whom stayed overnight in the house, were thrilled. So we had a great party with a great atmosphere. I can warmly recommend the Pfrondorfer Mühle for events like this.

Wir haben meinen Geburtstag mit einer größeren Gesellschaft in der Pfrondorfer Mühle gefeiert. Die Vorbereitung mit Frau Weirowski war in allen Aspekten top und bei dem Fest hat alles wunderbar geklappt. Ich muss sagen, dass der Festsaal Mühlrad mit dem angrenzenden Bankettraum total ideal war, vor allem auch mit den Kindern. Dabei gibt es auch einen schönen Platz für Auftritte bzw. für Musiker. Das Personal war, auch am Vortag bei der Vorbereitung, immer präsent und hat uns sehr freundlich bedient und unterstützt. Das Essen, das wir uns servieren ließen, war sehr gut. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und unsere Gäste, die teilweise im Haus übernachteten, waren begeistert. So hatten wir ein tolles Fest bei großartiger Stimmung. Ich kann die Pfrondorfer Mühle für solche Veranstaltungen wärmstens weiterempfehlen.

The Pfrondorfer Mühle is a wedding dream come true! From the very beginning, Aylin impressed us with her professional expertise and her warm commitment. She was our contact person for everything and was available to us around the clock to make our dreams and ideas come true. We were truly overwhelmed by her passion for her job and her tireless efforts. The location of the mill directly on the Nagold is simply breathtaking. The romantic atmosphere in the countryside, directly on the Nagold, is simply incomparable. The entire team at Pfrondorfer Mühle put their heart and soul into looking after us. The planning went smoothly and professionally. They were always present during the celebration and made sure that we and our guests didn't lack anything. Repeatedly excellent food, perfectly seasoned dishes, very friendly staff.

Anyone here who does not respect the unwritten rule of 10% min for Trinkgeld is only for dinner at home A very pleasant restaurant where you will be greeted at the table by Platzteller (which I rarely see), Stoffserviete and private staff. Although we arrived at the restaurant 30 minutes before the kitchen opened, we already had the soup on the table at 5:00 p.m. The girl who served us is very pleasant and tidy. The manager of the restaurant is a very nice woman. The food is delicious, the restaurant is in relaxing colors... Pleasant to sit.

For a group of adults whose wallets are on the loose side, this is exactly the right place - even if the dishes could be prepared a little more lovingly. Not recommended with children, the restaurant is not aimed at that at all. We had 5 kids aged 7 to 11 with us, who were all initially given a normal card - only after explicit request was a single children's card found somewhere. Choosing drinks for kids is also difficult if you don't know what quantities are served or what selection is available due to the lack of a drinks menu. Of course you can do all of this through dialogue, but that makes it unnecessarily complicated and confusing.

We were at the hotel on May 11, 2024 for a family celebration without an overnight stay. The service was courteous and very friendly. Spontaneous requests would be gladly implemented. The food was excellent and more than plentiful (17 people a la carte). All of our guests were thrilled. The prices are ok. We would like to come again. Thank you for lovely hours!!

After we had eaten there again and again and had nothing to complain about, we realized after visiting the restaurant today that the cuisine had deteriorated a lot because the food was not at all tasty. All of the dishes we ordered were not worthy of 4 stars, the price-performance ratio is no longer right, it's a shame. The service was good.

I celebrated my 40th birthday with my family. And I have to say, from the service to the food, everything was just great.

The best food within a 40km radius of Nagold. Absolute recommendation, great wines and the best onion roast of my life. Come here regularly.

Delicious Swabian cuisine with a rustic atmosphere

On Sunday we were in the garden at the Pfrondorfer Mühle. When no service came after more than 10 minutes, I went into the restaurant and asked if I had to order inside. That was denied. But nobody came out (of course, the waitress was eating). Another 10 minutes later we left again without drinking anything. Some guests wanted to pay. They had to go too. We are extremely disappointed and angry. We will definitely never go there again.

We/I have now been here a total of 3 times as business travelers. The hotel is very quiet and right on the Nagold River. The rooms are generally adequate and the wet room and bathroom look as if they have not been remodeled for a long time. So everything is fine. What I really have to complain about and the main reason I no longer consider this hotel to be in my choice is the selection at breakfast... You can't say there is something for everyone. Of the 4 types of sausage and one type of cheese, which are the same every day, as well as the possibly muesli with a natural yogurt and three types of muesli... No fruit muesli, no nuts to mix in, I just think it's weak for a hotel. The breakfast sandwiches, well. For a country hotel I actually expect more than just something baked. The restaurant was not visited due to the high prices

The Pfrondorfer Mühle is in a quiet location and everything is really nice and cozy. We were here to eat and I have to say in advance that overall the food was good, but none of the main courses included any vegetables. What I expect in this price segment. The prices are already very high. It was therefore disappointing that the holiday soup was very cold and the garnish was even ice cold. Unfortunately, when we commented to service, we only received one: oh. In my opinion, there would have been more if you had paid this money.

Eating in the beer garden was great, as always, super cozy with 4 people in the beer garden. Good food but also good prices but ok for the delicacies. 5 stars 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

We enjoy every moment here at Pfrondorfer Mühle. The fantastic food, my absolute favorite the Cordon Bleu, is always worth a trip to the Nagoldtal for us. The mill is in an idyllic and quiet location, you can unwind, the hosts are warm, loving and anticipate your every wish. Thank you for the wonderful evenings with you.
