Great ambience, super attentive cellars. Even if something goes wrong, a solution is available immediately. Especially on Valentine's Day, the hut isn't on fire with the great team, which reacts spontaneously and with absolute confidence. Fantastic food at a fair price. Gladly again.

Yesterday we went to the Pfeffermühle restaurant with a few friends. We really enjoyed it there and the food was simply fantastic. The waitress was very nice and friendly. I will definitely eat there more often.

I celebrated my 50th birthday here. What can I say, the party is still completely present in my head even after three days. All the guests who were there had a grin on their faces. I'm so glad I chose this place. The buffet couldn't be made any better. Everyone was excited. The team that was responsible for looking after the guests did a great job. Unfortunately I can't say anything about the hotel because hunger and Google reviews led me to the restaurant on the way back from vacation. The rating of the “Pfeffermühle”: -Cosy, rustic atmosphere -Very clean and tidy -Nice hospitality and good service -Upscale gastronomy at reasonable prices We (two of us) had the pepper sack and the game fish soup. Both are excellent, both in presentation and in consistency and taste. Clear recommendation 👍🏻

Service was friendly at first, but became increasingly inattentive as the number of guests increased. You had to wait a long time for the invoice, which was also incorrect. No apology for this, other guests were offered an espresso on the house for mistakes. Food was okay, nothing more for this price.

The food was good but not exceptional. The service left a lot to be desired - the employees were friendly, but often inattentive. The staff seemed clearly overwhelmed, especially in a fully occupied restaurant.

Unfortunately, our New Year's Eve 2024 in the restaurant was a failure. Even though we weren't served drinks, they still showed up on the bill. When we pointed this out, there was no apology whatsoever from the waitress. Particularly frustrating: The table next door received an espresso on the house due to a mistake - we weren't offered anything like that. The overall service was inattentive and we felt completely ignored. The waiting time for the bill was unreasonably long, and after payment we were neither wished a “good evening” nor a “happy new year”. We expected much more for such a special evening. Unfortunately no recommendation.

Very disappointing for us, the Wiener Schnitzel was as thinly sliced ​​as a carpaccio, the three very small pieces of the sea wolf tot were fried and unseasoned, as was the whole meal, the beetroot carpaccio, also as thin as newspaper, and the sole should be 69 € euros cost. The staff was very friendly. The last time I was here was 17 years ago, and today was definitely the last time in this restaurant

Been there again after many years. Everything is just very good. Our waiter was outstanding. He gets an extra star.

The salt bar is a highlight. The bar manager mixes very good cocktails. The service is excellent. The timing and demand for new drinks is right. The bar is always worth a visit.

Overall, I am very satisfied with my stay at Hotel Gude. The food and service is excellent. I would particularly like to highlight the bar manager Basti. Very fast service, friendly manner and, above all, the best “contact person” for extravagant drinks. He responded to requests and prepared cocktails that were not known before. The Pfeffermühle restaurant in Kassel is part of a hotel. The food was quite ok with fresh ingredients. But nothing unusual regionally. The service was friendly and accommodating. The ambience is no longer contemporary, but it's okay. The prices are in the upper middle range. Unfortunately, the good service could not bring the ambience and the food to an overall higher rating.

Unexpectedly fantastic food. Had dinner with friends and a had a very pleasant experience. The Wiener schnitzel is off the hook!!!

We were welcomed by Mr. Alwine served. He was very friendly, humorous and quick. The veal Wienerschnitzel was very tender. Gladly again!

Overall we are disappointed! The food was nothing special and the waitress didn't know the wine stock! The service was also very unfriendly! We cannot recommend the pepper mill.

The kitchen's performance fell far short of my expectations. The schnitzel was extremely thin and resembled a cleaning rag. The breading wasn't crispy and the taste was bland.

Unfortunately I can't sing the praises, there were three of us there and apart from the starter (which was very good) we were very disappointed. In the aperitif the ice cream had already melted and we had been waiting for 20 minutes. The pork medallions were fried to death three times, After complaining they came again and at least you could eat them. My monkfish medallion plate was the joke of the day. 3 small pieces (also fried to death) with hard broccoli wasn't even half a portion and the service was slow and lazy My conclusion was nothing except expenses Senta master

We called at very short notice to reserve a table. Basically we were almost at the door. Luckily we got a table in the next room, which was very convenient for us. It was quiet there and we had a good chat. The service staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food was excellent and we would happily eat something there again.

It's been a long time since I've been here but I drove past and thought I had to rate it. Had an excellent steak and a great evening. Perfect starter and dessert too. The price is high but it's definitely worth it. I was invited and just enjoyed the evening 😊

Yesterday we had a meal with the family at the Pfeffermühle... First of all: the service and food were, as always, very good and we felt very comfortable in the family room for three hours. However, we have decided not to celebrate a festival in this way again. The prices were a bit exaggerated... A menu for an average of 55 euros has reached a limit for us that we can no longer and do not want to exceed. For most people, the starter soup and dessert were too much and they would have liked to decide for themselves whether to pay for it or not. Maybe eating out will really become a luxury now...a shame

The food in the Pfeffermühle restaurant was really excellent. The quality of the food was excellent and the attentiveness of the service staff was very positive. The table reservation worked without any problems and the cleanliness on site was also commendable. Eating at the Pfeffermühle costs a little more, but you also get high-quality menus and extremely good service.

We went to the pepper mill yesterday. What can you say? It was wonderful! We were warmly welcomed and accompanied wonderfully throughout the evening. The food was very, very tasty and the service was friendly, very competent, fast and attentive! We had the sole: perfect, the pork fillet: 95 out of 100 points (it was a tiny bit too dry) and the Muscovy duck: 97 out of 100 points (because the beans weren't completely perfect). You can tell we're whining at an extremely high level! ;-) There wasn't really anything wrong with it. And the dessert was just amazing! What amazed us personally was how few staff were used to maintain this wonderful service. It must have been incredibly tiring that we as guests noticed practically nothing of the stress that this workload entails. So I just hope that the Pfeffermühle will be able to keep the current staff as well as recruit a little more staff so that this great service can be maintained in the long term! Thank you for a great evening and I hope for more delicious meals with this great service!

We spent our wedding anniversary there. It's a little more expensive but it's worth every penny. We were very satisfied and will definitely come back.

Were there today, the food was very good, it could have been a little hotter, so half a point is deducted, otherwise the complaining is at a very high level. All wishes catered for. Service was great!!!, we felt very looked after, drinks were very good, although I didn't like the first wine, the service immediately offered me another wine.

Everything wonderful. Cosy atmosphere, great service and delicious food. My suggestion is the traditional dish called Pfeffersack. It’s huge and yummy.

Als Gruppe gab es für uns "nur" ein Buffet mit mehreren Gruppen zusammen. Es gab Lachs, Weißweinsoße, (sehr reichhaltige) Gemüselasagne, Butternudeln und Salat. Zum Nachtisch gab es Tiramisu. Da ich Fisch mag, war es für mich in Ordnung, allerdings durfte man nicht unbedingt wählerisch sein bei dieser Auswahl. Zusammengepasst hat das alles auch nicht wirklich auch wenn die einzelnen Gericht lecker zubereitet war. Alles in allem war es in Ordnung aber auch nicht mehr.

Bestes bürgerlich- modernes Restaurant Kassels. Top Service, allerbestes Essen, schönes Ambiente. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis top, hier stimmt alles. Hingehen und genießen. Für das gleiche Geld gibt's bei manchem Kasseler Italiener nur mittelmäßiges Standardessen.

Das Ambiente ist schön. War hier schon sehr oft mit meinen Eltern essen und es war immer wieder Hervorragend. Die Portionen sind natürlich nicht überaus groß aber ich finde das gehört sich auch so in der gehobenen Küche. Die Teller sind immer kreativ und wirklich ansehnlich angerichtet.

Urgestein in Kassels Restaurant-Szene. Küche nach leichter Schwächephase wieder auf gewohnt sehr gutem Niveau. Rinderfilet mit Sauce Beárnaise exzellent. Espresso mit Mousse au Chocolat köstlich. Gemütliche Atmosphäre. Durchweg sehr freundliche und professionelle Servicekräfte.

Wir waren am Freitag den 16. und amFreitag den 23.06. mit 12 bzw. 10 Personen indem etwas abgetrennten Raum zu Gast. Unseren Gästen und uns hat es sehr gut gefallen. Ausgezeichnete Speisen und Getränke, dazu die sehr aufmerksamen und freundlichen Bedienungen!

70er Jahre Ambiente, so auch das Essen. Die Bedienung steif. Platz Angebot ohne Reservierung kommt mir abfertigend vor. Der Tisch der uns zugeteilt wurde war beengt durch die Bänke und so war es kaum möglich Platz zu nehmen, oder den Tisch zum Gang auf die Toilette zu verlassen. Die Luft im Gastraum wirkte sehr abgestanden, muffig. Bei 4 einhalb Sternen stellt man sich etwas anderes vor.

Ich hatte das Rumpsteak und Creme Brulee Törtchen und beides war extrem lecker. Der Service war auch super und im Restaurant herrscht eine schöne Atmosphäre.

Das Essen war lecker und die Bedienungen sehr freundlich. Insgesamt war es ein gelungener Abend und wir werden sicherlich wiederkommen.

Bekanntes und gutes Restaurant mit erstklassigem Service, vor allem durch den Restaurantleiter selbst. Die Gerichte sind lecker und auf einem guten bis sehr guten Niveau. Die Preise dafür empfinde ich als allerdings zu hoch.

Ich war mit meiner Frau Sylwester zum Essen. Die Professionalität, die Coulness sowie die Freundlichkeit des Personals war herausragend. Die Küche war ebenfalls spitze! Danke für den schönen Abend und einen guten Rutsch in ein gesundes und erfolgreiches 2023.

Essen sehr gut aber nicht günstig. Dann bestellten wir uns noch einen Obstler ohne vorher in die Karte zu schauen. 8,50€ pro Schnaps ist dann doch ein bisschen unverschämt. Da wir uns zum Abschied einen 2. genehmigten waren das 17€ für 2 Schnäpse.

Eins der besten Restaurants in Kassel. Service und das Essen wie immer vom feinsten.Hatten Weihnachtsfeier mit 20 Leuten und wir haben gleichzeitig gegessen. Ein dickes Lob an die Küche und Service.

Seit 20 Jahren essen wir jedes Jahr die traditionelle Gans bei Gude, immer köstlich, professionelle Bedienung. Letztes Jahr waren wir nicht so zufrieden, dieses Jahr haben wir es noch einmal versucht, obwohl Freunde abgeraten haben. Wir wissen jetzt, warum. Die Gans war weder zart noch schmackhaft, die Bedienung war an diesem ruhigen Montagabend weder beschäftigt noch bemüht. Fazit: Mittelmaß, eine langjährige kulinarische Partnerschaft ist an ihr Ende gekommen.

Traditionelles Speiselokal mit sehr guter Küche

Essen ist gut, Service sehr freundlich. Leider dauerte jeder einzelne Schritt fast eine Stunde - erst warten auf die Vorspeise, dann wieder warten aufs Hauptgericht, dann nochmal warten aufs Dessert. Frisch kochen ist natürlich wichtig - aber das ist trotzdem eine Wartezeit, die die Freude am Essen schmälert.
