Great Sunday brunch menu for Russian specialties. Such good variety of items in one dish. I got the smoked salmon, with potato latke, scrambled eggs, avocado mash, cream cheese pinwheels with spinach ad caviar eggs, prawn and beet salad with horseradish. I've been coming here for over 10 years and quality of food and service remains consistent. Thanks again for another great experience and memory.

We were there a week ago to celebrate a friend’s birthday. What I liked: 1.delicious food, thanks to the cook 2. friendly staff What I didn't like: 1.you are given only two hours to stay in the restaurant. Considering that the order takes 30-35 minutes to prepare, then there is very little time left. It already looks like a canteen, not a restaurant 2. very small room, tables are close to each other, if you want to leave the table, you will definitely hit the guest at the next table 3. the light in the toilet suddenly turns off, it’s obvious they are saving on electricity. In general, I conclude that the restaurant is suitable for a snack, but not for a holiday.

Unfortunately a bad experience. Normally I communicate criticism on site, but here the service was neither interesting nor attentive. We had made a reservation for 2 people on a Friday evening with the note that one person had a wheelchair. When we arrived and I asked the gentleman with the beard to hold the door open so I could bring in the wheelchair, he first complained that it was far too narrow for one. Yes, I also saw that it was tight, you can tell that when making the reservation. After I had to look at 3 tables, he was finally able to hold the door open. The table was against the wall, the other guests were there almost immediately, I had to move the wheelchair and put it next to the piano. Then came the hint that the pianist would be coming “immediately”. When I asked when and where to take the wheelchair, the answer was: at 8. So in 75 minutes, that's fine, I thought. There was no help or suggestions. The service at the table was ok, but it dropped significantly within an hour, a drink was forgotten, no question what it was like, a plate was cleared away while the other person was still eating. That doesn't work for me at all. The food itself was also ok, not outstanding and not particularly good for the price. After a little more than an hour we basically fled because it was getting busier and louder and the service completely ignored us - I had to shout and wave vigorously for the bill. We skipped dessert and an espresso. 4 beers, 1 bottle of water, 2 starters and 2 main courses for over €100 - it wasn't worth it. The wheelchair was moved during that time and our jackets were thrown on the floor. That's not possible either, I don't like it when someone touches my things without asking and casually drops them. When we went out, no one was interested in us; I had to hold the curtain open with my foot, the door open with my hand and move the wheelchair. This isn't just bad service, it's out of the question and humiliating. Was it just a bad evening by chance? I don't believe it. The parsnip will never see me again.

Really nice place with absolutely delicious food. We took breakfast for two and napoleon. With incredible service and reasonable prices. Will keep coming back again and again.

Mixed feelings... Ambiance/location/food top! Service very slow and inattentive. We had to wait a long time for the menu and drinks. The pelmeni were very good, but 19 EUR???? There was far too little Smetana and spicy sauce. We had to reorder and that took forever and everything was cold by now. When clearing away the food was not asked whether it was tasty or whether you still wanted to order, etc. Some bread would have been nice beforehand. Unfortunately we were disappointed overall.

Very cozy, warm and traditional place. Food and drinks were delicious and unique, just like the pictures. Myki was very welcoming and nice, amazing host to us, providing recommendations and also gave us a couple of drinks to finish up for the day. Rude service: it felt like we were bothering them, speaking Russian didn't help Smoothie bowl is a joke: for 9€ you get a sprinkle of nuts or seeds, I could count the pieces on my 2 hands. So 9€ for a bit of yoghurt....

I recently had the pleasure of eating at this wonderful Russian restaurant and it was a culinary experience of a lifetime! The atmosphere is inviting and authentic, with loving details that immediately immerse you in Russian culture. The food was simply fantastic. The borscht soup was hearty and perfectly seasoned, and the pelmeni were tender and flavorful, filled with fresh meat and served with a delicious cream sauce. The traditional blini were also a highlight – warm and fluffy, simply heavenly! The service was attentive and friendly, which made the visit even more enjoyable. The drinks menu had an excellent selection of Russian vodkas that we had to try. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant. Not only is great food served here, but a piece of Russian hospitality is also experienced here. I'll definitely be back! A big compliment and great service from Dimitri.

It is an excellent restaurant that offers authentic cuisine in a welcoming atmosphere. The blinchiky with salmon caviar are particularly tasty, and the selection of traditional dishes is impressive. The food was super tasty. My recommendation is #2 for breakfast and the Shakshuka was also very good. The ambience is classic and the music selection is appropriate. Dima the waitress was also very nice.

The food was really delicious and I would definitely go again to try new dishes. The most common dishes you know from home are beautifully prepared, but don't taste like mom's at home. This is complaining at a high level and is in no way to be understood negatively. The ambience is quite nice and you can sit well both inside and outside. The service is actually a bit slow and feels inattentive at times. If this could be improved, it would be a 5/5 for me. Price-performance ? It's fair. I'm happy to pay a little more for good dishes and fresh products.

We had brunch one day and dinner another. On both occasions, the food was delicious and novel. It was not very busy at brunch so we sat inside the attractive small restaurant and enjoyed the quick service and quiet atmosphere. It was very busy at dinner so we sat outside. They provided blankets and heaters so it was comfortable and enjoyable to watch the street scene. However, the service was incredibly slow. We were partly to blame because we showed up without reservations, sut still.. it should not take an hour before someone gives you a menu!

I was recently in the restaurant "Pasternak" and I was very impressed by the ambience. The decor is decorated in a charming vintage style, with old furniture and fascinating photographs from the early 20th century on the walls. These pictures depict poets, writers and other representatives of the cultural bohemia of the time, which gives the place a special atmosphere. A pianist played in the evening, which underlined the relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. The portions here, like most restaurants, are not particularly large, but the presentation of the dishes is very interesting and done with great attention to detail. Everything I tried was fresh and very tasty. The only negative point was the somewhat slow service from the waiter, which meant we had to wait longer than we would have liked. Nevertheless, this didn't have a negative impact on the overall experience - the atmosphere, the music and the food just fit together well.

We booked a table for Saturday evening in advance; we were seated in a separate room with three more tables. We were later very glad that they seated us here, since it was very cozy here, they were playing the piano around the corner from 20 o’clock, no one smoked here and, plus, it was not cold from the front door. The waiters are very professional, responsive, listen carefully and make any request, they can advise you on something. The atmosphere is very cozy, there are paintings hanging around, a huge chandelier, everything is so decorated as if you were in the late 19th - early 20th century. Very interesting and beautiful. The food is a delight for my CIS background. I fell in love with neck kebab... Kiev cutlet, of course, is also top (tender breaded chicken fillet with a delicious filling of herbs and melted butter plus the unforgettable taste of real creamy-tender mashed potatoes), but whoever loves grilled or shashlik - take it right away shashlik. You won't find anything like this in Berlin, believe me. Salad Herring under a fur coat is a classic. I am very glad that it is in such an original recipe, as it should be! The Olivier salad is also delicious and classic. I liked the presentation of the carpaccio. Potato dumplings with mushrooms - amazing mushroom taste! Not champignons, and that made me very happy, but there were boletus mushrooms. This is top! Dessert Cake Napoleon - at first we were surprised that they brought Napoleon a spoon and not a fork, but when I scooped up the first piece with a spoon... I’ve never seen a cake so soaked either. It was an incredibly tasty and tender Napoleon cake. And my first Pavlova dessert in my life. I was impressed and delighted. What I imagined from this dessert: lightness, tenderness, not cloying. We were all very pleased that we spent our birthday here. It's unforgettable! Thank you!

Lugar maravilloso en Berlín, La comida es excelente, el interior te hace viajar en el tiempo. La música de piano en vivo lo hace completo.

Es sind 15° Außentemperatur, die Eingangstür steht durchgehend offen. Die kalte Luft weht durch den Gastraum. Wir werden an einen Tisch im Nebenraum platziert, wo es immer noch leicht zieht. Die Zweiertische sind klein und so eng gestellt, so dass das Hinsetzen eher ein "Hinfalten" ist. Selber Schuld: Das hätte ich schon auf dem Foto des Gastraums auf der Webseite erkennen können. Die Bestellung wird zeitnah aufgenommen und serviert. Meine Borschtsch mit Kalbfleisch ist lauwarm und macht den Eindruck, vom Vortag zu sein: Das enthaltene Fleisch ist teilweise in einzelne Fasern zerfallen, die Kräuter (Dill?) sind ohne Aroma und Farbe. Reste essen bei Mama ist leckerer. Das Hauptgericht, gegrilltes Hähnchenfleisch am Spieß mit Hummus und Kartoffelgratin kommt zeitlich auf den Punkt aber leider ist das Gratin ebenfalls nur handwarm und das Hähnchenfleisch wird auf der nicht gewärmten Platte ebenfalls schnell kühler. Geschmacklich ist der Spieß an sich nicht zu beanstanden, jedoch die dazu gereichte Soße: Sie kommt in einem winzigen Töpfchen (ca. 50 ml) und spielt geschmacklich in der gleichen Liga wie die Suppe. Zu Hause angekommen, finde ich eine E-Mail: "… wir sind sehr enttäuscht, dass wir Sie nicht wie erwartet … bei uns begrüßen konnten. Könnten Sie sich einen Moment Zeit nehmen, um uns die Gründe zu nennen?" Ich antworte: "… anbei die Kopie des Zahlungsbelegs… Ihre Mitarbeiter hat die Reservierung nicht interessiert. Niemand hat auf die Ansage, dass wir reserviert haben, im System nachgesehen und uns "abgehakt". Dafür habe ich das Pasternak jetzt abgehakt.
