Food is good. Services also a But what use are the soundproof sails on the ceiling? And thick curtains on the windows. When the music is as loud as in the disco. So that a cultivated conversation is impossible.

We ate today for the first time after the reopening, no comparison to the previous one. I'm just thrilled where do you still have homemade fries today? Courteous and friendly staff. The price is okay and the ambience is also appealing. But after the change of tenant I have to say that the food has deteriorated. The meat mmn. a bit tough/dry and the dishes have fewer ingredients. Of course everyone has different recipes, but gyros somehow include onions, which makes the whole thing a little juicier. Hello, the restaurant has recently had a new owner and was previously closed for a while. We also knew the restaurant under the old owner. Went there yesterday with 10 people. I ordered gyros with suvlaki, fries and salad, which I always order from various Greeks. So I always have a comparison. In short: Service was impersonal, salad was only served upon request (I came later). Portion really small, taste was good, Suvlaki skewer not dry. Small salad. Tzatziki small, without onions. But I was really disappointed with the size. I went home hungry, although I usually can't finish the portion and take the rest with me. I was disappointed, especially at a newly opened restaurant. I can also draw a direct comparison to the Greek in Maisach, at the sports field, and the Emmeringer Greekm formerly Emmeringer. I can only recommend it, the size is very good, the service and friendliness are good and personal. Price good for what is offered. Were there on Saturday January 4th, 2024 for the first time after the reopening. Short call on Friday, reserved for Saturday. Very friendly reception. We were asked relatively quickly for drinks and were given an ouzo when we asked. We were able to study the map in peace. Taking the order was very friendly, changing the order (tomato rice instead of fries) went without any problems. After a short wait the order was served. We had veal liver, gyros in metaxa sauce and a mixed plate. The portions were large enough and the quality and taste were very good. Even the fries seemed homemade. Happy to come back! We felt very comfortable.

There are new tenants there and I tried it out. The service is very good, they have it under control. There is a change in the food compared to its predecessor in that the dishes are simpler in terms of ingredients. I had gyros calamari with a salad. The food was good, the portion was enough for me. Not quite as big as its predecessor. There are fries as standard, but they are probably not the usual frozen goods. I was pleasantly surprised by the fries. The salad consisted of lettuce with carrots. I would have really liked a pepperoni here, then it would have been more complete. I was surprised that there were no onions anywhere, neither on the large plate nor in the salad. A little more seasoning would be nice, for example with dill. Despite the points, I liked it and will try a few other things in the future.

We were big fans of the previous owner. Now with the new Athens we are happy to report: Service is still very friendly and accommodating. Food was good as before. We'll be back/continue

Once and never again. Service is ok, the food is at the lower limit, tasteless, no garnish, meat is tough, presentation of the food is colorless, completely unappealing. Were there for the first time and at the same time for the last time. And overpriced too...

Re-opening on November 29th, 2024 under a new manager and new name: Athens. Restaurant has been modernized inside. Had lunch there on a Sunday with a total of 9 people. Everyone was very happy with their food. Service was very good. Price-performance fits perfectly! Happy to come back!

Since the Parthenon no longer exists and it has now been called Athens since November 29, 2024, we wanted to pay our blessed Greeks a visit again and we are disappointed. The prices went through the roof, and my plate of baby callamarie only had 4 small pieces on it. We're not coming anymore, it's a real shame. If you park there, be careful not to drive into the deep holes in the parking lot.

The restaurant was recently renovated and is now under new management. The menu and decor have changed slightly, but much feels familiar and familiar. The food is good, prices are okay, portions are still generous, but now mostly with good fries instead of tomato rice as a side dish.

Unfortunately it wasn't a nice experience. The food was lukewarm, the meat - gyros - seemed more boiled than grilled. Loveless. None of us liked it. The service took a long time to arrive and was quite rude. We won't be coming back. Very unfortunate. We actually would have liked to spend our evening with a good meal.

So far I have been very happy with the restaurant. Now the staff seems overwhelmed and unfriendly. The food was so over-seasoned, the fries were totally over salted. There is also no more ouzo, as usual. No more recommendations.

Unfortunately, we were extremely disappointed during our visit to your restaurant. As regular guests of upscale restaurants, our expectations of your service were already moderate, but unfortunately these were not even remotely met. As soon as we entered the restaurant we were turned away in a very rude manner - with the explanation that there were only two people working in service. We found this explanation not only inadequate, but also simply disrespectful, especially since another couple who arrived directly after us were greeted without further ado and shown to the table. Given that we had chosen to visit a venue that does not meet our usual standards, it is all the more disappointing that even the most basic service requirements were not met. We have never experienced such behavior in any of our favorite restaurants and will certainly not recommend your establishment. It's a shame that your staff is unable to deal professionally with guests who have a certain expectation of service.

Was treated very unsympathetically. We came spontaneously and, according to the waitress, the restaurant was already full because there were only two of them. But he only said it after we were allowed to wait. I had a bad foot and would have been happy to sit down. My partner and I live nearby, but we probably won't come, it's a shame.

Unfortunately I have to revise my 5 star reviews from 4 years ago. We were there again about 3 weeks ago and sat outside. I had already gone ahead with the junior. The food was okay. The ladies came a little later and weren't even greeted when they walked past the waitress. The service was also rather mediocre in general. There was also no ouzo with the Greek meal. One also missed the well-known Greek hospitality. And the others' food was just okay.

Food was good, there were many moskitos there, but what disappointed me was that the opening hours absolutely not the same as advertised on Google maps. I chose the place based on opening hours but when they switched off the lights and left it was super disappointing because location of the place is not that safe and I counted to stay there until certain time. It was absolutely not pleasant experience. Would at least update their data on the maps!

Nice restaurant with a detailed menu. Beautiful garden with wooden floors. Lots of free parking spaces right in front of the door in the yard. If it wasn't for the extremely loud sound from the boom box, some Greek radio station with a lot of nonsense in Greek. Extremely annoying because it makes conversation at the table very difficult. As a result, the order was corrected twice, as it was probably misunderstood because of the “noise”. But the food was very tasty and, above all, a huge portion. Unfortunately I didn't manage to get the plate. The meat was very nicely seasoned and cooked to perfection. Suflaki, calamari and gyros were very tasty as was the rice side dish. The vegetarian plate was very varied and good. The salad was fresh and with a tasty dressing. All in all, a successful evening, if it weren't for the annoying and loud sound system. We then quickly ran away. A little more subtle Greek music would add a lot to the ambience, but maybe we're not the target group.

We had a spontaneous meal here last week. The outdoor area was completely free and we had free choice of seating. Unfortunately, I missed Greek hospitality. There were 4 of us in total. My girlfriend and I arrived a little later. When we arrived, an employee came into the outside area. Instead of greeting us, we weren't looked at with annoyance. The service at the table itself took place through changing waitresses, where no one seemed particularly motivated. The food was ok, but everything was very fatty. There are definitely better Greek restaurants in the county. From these other restaurants we are used to being asked whether everything is okay even during the meal. Unfortunately that wasn't the case here. You also wait in vain for the obligatory ouzo at the end of the meal. Unfortunately, I experienced mediocre food here with unmotivated staff and will no longer come for a spontaneous visit.

The rooms and the outdoor area are very inviting. Friendly and attentive service. An extensive menu and the food served was excellent.

We were here with two other couples for dinner and a chat. At the beginning in the beer garden and then inside the restaurant. The service was very attentive and friendly the whole time. It didn't cause any stress either. First we just ordered the starter - it was so extensive that we were actually full by then, but then we ordered different dishes. They were all delicious and the gyros were juicy. I like it when it's a little finer cut, but that's more a matter of taste. Even after eating we were allowed to sit in peace and continue chatting - even if we only had water because we all had to drive. It should also be mentioned that we were with two dogs and they were welcome at any time.

Cozy, lively restaurant with very nice service. Full Thursday evening! Lots of choice, meat tender as butter. Lots of combination plates if you can't decide. Parking spaces in front of the door.

We were there with a group of eight people and were served very attentively and quickly. Dishes with special requests were fulfilled without any problem. Everyone liked the food and the prices were ok. A good end to an event at Fürstenfeld Monastery. We will be back.

Food and service were generally okay. I was very disappointed with the Musaka. It tasted like it had been warmed up from the day before. The prices are high. A drink was mispriced.

Enttäuschend. Die griechischen Spezialitäten waren alle aus der Dose. Taramas war so gestreckt, dass es keinen Eigengeschmack mehr hatte. Zaziki ist eigentlich so einfach; hier war es ein undefinierbar Quarkaufstrich ohne Gurken und Knoblauch. Die Metaxasauce beinhaltete kein Metaxa, sondern Maggie Bratensauce. Es wäre so einfach, die typisch griechischen Gerichte auch mit griechischer Seele zu füllen.

The big test with the Greek: Is the farmer's salad original? Clearly yes here. No green salad leaves, no vinegar or dressing, no hipster frills. Yes, real Greeks cook here. And the food was really good, the wine was just as delicious as in a small tavern. We recommend. I'll probably come by there more often.

You don't have to say anything else, just awesome the food and it's still warm after 15 minutes even when you pick it up

Es ist ok. Bedienungen verstehen einen kaum bzw wenn man fragt was bei dem warmen Vorspeisen Teller dabei ist. Heißt es keine Ahnung sie fragt und kommt keiner mehr sehr schade. Allgemein nicht sehr freundlich. Aber man kann dort schon Mal essen. Es ist OK war aber schon bei deutlich besseren griechen

Schmeckte sehr gut, leider recht laut im Restaurant

Die gute Nachricht vorweg; die Portionen waren groß. Das war es aber auch…. Tsatsiki das ohne Gurken und ohne Knoblauch gemacht ist, ist eigentlich nur griechischer Joghurt, oder? Das Brot war auch trocken, was aber hilfreich war um das Tsatsiki aufzunehmen. Essen war reichhaltig und ok gewürzt, jedoch war im überbackenen Gyros in Metaxa Soße kein wirklicher Metaxa Geschmack zu finden. Letztlich bleibt zu erwähnen, dass eine Bedienung einfach nicht nach kaltem Zigarettenrauch riechen sollte. Die Zeiten in denen man im Restaurant rauchen konnte sind lang vorbei, und Bedienungen sollten daher auch nicht nach Rauch riechen.

Sehr sympathischer und freundlicher Service mit einem leckeren Gyros/Calamari-Teller. Zusätzlich gab es ein kleiner Dessert aufs Haus. Wirklich empfehlenswert.
