Unfortunately, the food at lunchtime didn't really impress us. Unfortunately, the service was also a bit unfriendly when we mentioned that something didn't fit or tasted good. Won't be going back in the future.

The first impression was that it had become brighter and friendlier. But when the starter plate came for €9.90 and you had to look for the octopus on the plate, I didn't suspect anything good. The lamb shank, which is only available with beans or small onions, could just as well have been from any other animal. Because it was tasteless. The baked potatoes that I then ordered for an additional €4.90 were soaked in oil and covered with an indefinable yellow sauce. My companion's beef liver was so salty that it couldn't be eaten. The side salads consisted entirely of coleslaw, which was also too salty. Overall, the meal was a complete disaster, it was the first and last time with the new tenant. Never thank you again. A drink over €63 each for two main courses and a starter is an absolute disgrace.

Unfortunately very disappointing, I ordered moussaka that was frozen inside! Apparently microwave dishes are served, how sad and an absolute no go for a supposed Greek specialty restaurant! There was a small apology on the sidelines, that was it and after about 10 minutes a "new" moussaka followed that didn't taste good. The side salads are grated carrots with coleslaw, not a single leaf of lettuce, not a tomato or cucumber. Really cheap and certainly lasts for a very long time, you can buy them prepared in buckets wholesale :( and easy to handle without much preparation. We were regulars at the "old" Aphrodite and something like that would never have happened there! The well-built and deserved reputation of the “usual "Aphrodite" is so ruined, very sad! Side salads were always served there according to the season, with fresh leaf lettuce and feta. In addition, the moussaka is a small portion but is priced as a main course and is similar to the category of an appetizer! It was now the second time that the dish served was not edible, the absolute increase: Bifteki with feta was raw inside! This has also happened to other guests there according to the reviews - not an isolated case! The irrelevant statement: it is being worked on.... It's all just words of comfort without any consequences, nothing has changed! There are far better Greek restaurants in the surrounding area. We have now given the "new" Aphrodite several chances, but now the final decision has been made, no recommendation and no further visit, it's not worth it! It's also a shame that the name "Aphrodite" is continued, in absolutely no way does it come close to the usual "original", adorning itself with "foreign feathers", very sad and a complete failure of this place! You can tell the cook and the tenant have no idea about Greek cuisine. Earn money here at any price, cheap, cheap, cheap!

If you would like to go out for overpriced Greek food, with poor service and tasteless tzatziki, this is the right place for you. A year ago things were much better. If you go out for lunch, you can expect a little more, at least in terms of taste. 7:15 p.m. Waited about 20 minutes for the order and then another 35 minutes for the food. Super tiring with small children. Luckily there is a noisy bobby car and various other cars on site. Dry gyros, tzatziki without garlic, 12 fries per plate. Only Ouzo has consistent quality

Unfortunately there were several hairs in the food. The bifteki was forgotten in the main course and we got the wrong side dish. The meat was dry and black on the outside. The starter platter for almost €30 is also not recommended.

We went to this restaurant, as it was the one in the area we never tried, and the one having the best rate. We ended up being quite disappointed. The quality of the dishes were not at the same level as other Greek restaurants in the area. The environment was very nice, but we found the food better in other places.

I can't really understand the positive reviews... The main course was below average. Service so-so. We ordered the card but it never came. We ordered a drink. Never came. We were there for the first and last time :(

We wanted to try this restaurant on the recommendation of a friend. Unfortunately we cannot share this recommendation. Wishes and changes are ignored. Example: Starter platter - intolerance to fish, we ordered it purely vegetarian. This was completely ignored - the plate was returned. Fish and fish rye cream carelessly removed. This leaves space on the plate free... So less product for the same money. Bifteki RAW!!! Absolute no-go! “Served with tomatoes and lettuce” - yes a 4mm thick slice of tomato and the lettuce wasn’t served at all. Service: Lackluster, slow - very slow. There were 21 minutes between starter and main course. Ambiance: In principle it's a nice spot - but anyone who wants to eat among hundreds of flies is welcome there. Oh, and be careful when driving in - the covers of the gas/water pipes are not surrounded by asphalt - so the tire could definitely have its price this evening - but the price-performance ratio for tires is better than in this restaurant.

Unfortunately my bifteki (pork) was raw inside. It can happen sometimes. I let it go back and got it back just as raw. That doesn't work at all. What's outrageous is that I was allowed to pay full price for it. They don't see us anymore. I won't recommend the restaurant to anyone else. This would not have happened with the previous owner

Had dinner there today. You can only order non-alcoholic shandy if you drink at least two, otherwise not possible. Had ordered mixed starters WITHOUT meat and fish, with fish paste and fried anchovies. Immediately noted to the waitress that the plate was taken back, fish products were scraped off and the same plate was brought back to us. Afterwards there was bifteki, still very pink, and chicken breast fillet, where half of the side dishes and the side salads were forgotten. But the food itself was very good! Sat outside and of course, in summer there are wasps, but also a lot of flies.

As regular guests of the Aphrodite BEFORE the renovation and change, the visit was a deep disappointment. No hospitality, long waiting times, a wine spritzer that barely had any wine content, the temperature that one dish was missing could be found in the drinks. One question, what's wrong with wine glasses????? Conclusion: Never again and we mourn the beautiful past and the ruining of the good reputation built over decades.

Food is delicious, unfortunately the portions have become much smaller, which means the price-performance ratio is a little out of balance.

Extremely friendly service, very good and plentiful food at reasonable prices. Yesterday we had a wonderful evening in the garden of the restaurant in good weather!

We picked something up today. On the phone they said we should please hurry up, it was almost ready (while we were ordering!). We then had to wait on site. At home the surprise was that the gyros were swimming in fat! There was something fluffy mixed into the tzatziki and it tasted sweet. Not for us anymore!

Rarely eaten so badly: Gyros were not fried crispy but rather bland and hardly seasoned. Liver was tough, and we were completely forgotten about the side salad that actually came with it. Complaints were not possible due to the waiter being overworked. Instead of the dark beer that was ordered, a dark wheat beer was delivered. When we complained, they said that only the right glass was needed!? And finally, there were a lot of flies in the garden that swarmed around us while we ate.

Were there again yesterday July 17th, 2024. New tenant, new luck and honestly, we were thrilled. Lots of nice people and amazing food. I had a mixed appetizer platter. Also sufficient as a main meal. I've never had an appetizer like this before. Extremely tasty and plentiful. Before that there was a Uso on the house and a yoghurt with fruit for dessert. In the meantime it's worth visiting Aphrodite again. Because I haven't had such delicious cuisine like there in a long time.

Beer garden very messy. After such a long Corona break, you should have the time to clean everything. (Lots of weeds, very dirty parasols, etc.) Cheap plastic chairs that make you sweat a lot. And above all, we have eaten much better Greek food. Never again from us. New owner new opportunity. Beer garden New seating and new tables. Looks much more inviting now. Food quite ok. Only two waitresses who only come when you call them. There is certainly room for improvement.

First class Greek restaurant. Friendly reception, great service. The food is really fresh and delicious. There is also a beautiful beer garden. Perfect through and through. Highly Recommended.

I've been eating there regularly on certain occasions for almost 10 years, and even after the change in ownership I've always been very satisfied - unfortunately until today! I am really disappointed! I was really looking forward to the meal - I hardly ate anything all day and wanted to leave room for the many great things there. When the starter salad was served, I was shocked - where did the mixed salad go with the delicious dressing??? Well, you don't go to a Greek restaurant for a salad - that's my thought! When the main course came, I felt really sorry for the lifeless, single slice of tomato, so I would have preferred not to eat it...plus a "blob" of tzatziki - I couldn't eat the meat on the skewer at all - it wasn't cooked through and very gristly, so I had to spit it out again... the entire meal was massively low in salt and bland... my daughter was also rather disgusted with her gyros, so after the visit we went to the restaurant with the seagull, otherwise she would have gone to bed hungry... ! I really don't know what happened there and I would like to emphasize that I am rather reserved with reviews but I will avoid the place for now... It's a shame, but you don't spend any money on that!

Ordered food to pick up. Got very little for the money and was very carelessly done. For just under €10, such a small portion of octopus salad is a disgrace.

We often ate here. The starters are very very tasty. The main courses vary from very tasty to okay. The reason for my review is the tzatziki. The portions of the tzatziki for the starter and the main course are terribly small. We then ordered tzatziki again and noted that this was very little for the portion. Unfortunately, the tzatziki came a little late, so the rest of the starter turned out cold. Ultimately the tzatziki appeared on the bill as 4.90 euros. When asked that a repeat order was due due to the portion size, it was not received and we paid the full price. In my opinion, it's not possible to save money on tzatziki as a Greek restaurant. The "Tzatziki" problem has already been mentioned in the reviews, but apparently they don't want to change anything here.

The food was very good! Unfortunately we were disappointed with the service, after asking the service several times after taking the order, we received the wrong starter, but it was good! Our child was happy, the main course came with our starters and the dessert even came before our main course, which unfortunately was forgotten! She came after asking several times! And after the next table had already received a starter and main course. The guests arrived about 30 minutes after us! I can only recommend the kitchen, we were regular guests at the previous restaurant and were pleasantly surprised by the new owners' food. The service apologized and we got a small discount on the bill, as well as another salad and finally an ouzo to compensate! Still a shame, poor kitchen if the service fails! Another positive aspect is the outdoor area, which is very cozy!

Very tasty food 😋😋 at removable prices

Unfortunately that was nothing! I was really looking forward to a meal at a Greek restaurant and arrived with a great appetite with a friend. The beer garden is pretty. That’s about it on the positive side. I guess I got the “Monday table” somehow. Nothing was really tasty. For the starter there was pita with garlic, where the oil was soggy and stood in puddles on the bread. Eggplant and the second starter were nothing to say. The main course (gyros, souvlaki, bifteki, & calamari with coleslaw, fries) arrived, and now the disaster really began: Before I could even eat the first forkful: the meat on the skewer was still raw inside. The plate was taken away by the service with the statement. I get a new skewer back, the plate came with hastily cooked pieces of meat that I had previously left on the plate. Now the taste test: the bifteki only tastes like pork, there was no spice on it! The meat on the skewer was now too dry and without any taste The calamari was chewy and there was no lemon. The coleslaw was missing, and this is where I was a bit stunned: the salt! The gyros were mostly very, very crispy... which was the most positive thing because at least I had roasted flavors to be happy about. At the end there was a greeting from the kitchen, a small dessert with an indefinable red fruit sauce. In terms of taste, the food was a complete failure from start to finish. Unfortunately, the service didn't help either. When he asked because the plate was still full…. How it would have tasted… I was pretty satisfied and told him honestly and objectively what my taste “experience” actually was like…. And he answered me about it. I could have seasoned with salt and pepper. Here's a comment to the service: if I wanted to season with salt and pepper: I would eat at home and not look forward to the familiar Greek spices and flavors. I paid too much, almost €40 per person, and the water and the shandy were probably the part of the meal that cost the least, but was also the least disappointing... Even though the food was terrible and it was obvious that hardly anything had been touched on the plate, the full price was charged. I paid my “tuition fee” for this visit. It was a little more than just bad luck, which is why I wrote this review and I hope that it will be an incentive for the kitchen and service to be more than run-of-the-mill in the future...

So we were there for Mother's Day and we were quite disappointed. The cellar was okay and nice but the female waitresses had no idea and made a face. Everyone's food came quite cold and in two of them the meat was still raw inside and we went back to the kitchen. It was probably put in the micro. So we wouldn't go there again.

We really like to order the warm appetizer platter for two people because there are so many different, delicious dishes available. We love the different tastes of the dishes and pastes, from spicy to salty to sweet! That's enough for us as dinner, we'd rather drink something good with it and have dessert. We enjoy this way of eating as a family and therefore find it very cozy. Since we don't go out to eat that often, we feel like this is something special for us. We have also eaten main courses from the leg of lamb to the grilled plate, all of which are highly recommended. Recently I wasn't feeling so well in the evening and I needed something hearty so I ordered the chicken soup with some rice in it, its own style but well cooked and with fine pieces of chicken, a very tasty soup that lifted me up. What made me particularly happy was that such a soup was still possible shortly before 10 p.m. Everything went very quickly and I was happy that I got something nice at this time when others were already closing! We are very satisfied and would therefore like to come back. I also find it very pleasant to see the same faces again after a year who give you very courteous and friendly advice and bring you food. Paying with cash or card also works perfectly. I also find the house's style of offering a small appetizer at the end in the form of a yoghurt with fruit or nuts to be very generous and successful! After renovation, very appealing atmosphere, ouzo and small dessert on the house, very attentive service, food lavish, really Greek and very tasty, extras are fulfilled without any problems... highly recommended!!!

Here you can have a good and cheap lunch. The restaurant is a bit out of the way in the Hasenheide fabric area. The decor is typical of a German Greek restaurant, a little bit uncomfortable for me. But that's my personal taste. The food was good and plentiful, the service was top. If I'm in FFB again, I'll be happy to come back.

We went there for dinner with family today, the first time after taking over the restaurant... Unfortunately not recommended! Only about very nice service can something positive be written... About the food: if you expect delicious gyros with the appropriate tzatziki in a Greek restaurant, then in my opinion you are completely wrong here! Side dish of fries, salad is just a ridiculously small bowl with a few leaves and dressing that has nothing to do with Greek dressing, after changing it for €3.90! on farmer's salad I had exactly the same size salad bowl with 3 tomatoes, onions, peppers, a small piece of feta, the taste was not Greek feta but a cheap cow's milk shepherd's cheese and 2 olives. But the absolute blast was the portion of tzatziki with the gyros. A mini bowl with a tablespoon of tzatziki! I've never experienced that anywhere. After the second piece of gyros there was no more tzatziki...Total disappointment! So I understand that everything has become more expensive, but saving so much on the tzatziki sends the wrong message. Unfortunately, the rest of the family wasn't impressed with the taste either. We won't be coming back.

We were recommended by an employee of the Freistaat company. We enjoyed the food. Since we weren't regular guests, we only had yoghurt instead of schnapps. And the evening rate of €5 per person was added to the bill without any prior agreement, even though the day ticket and the entrance ticket stated different prices. The bad smell of chlorine in the toilet area was really bad. Sorry, that's not how you deal with visitors in transit. We won't be coming back any time soon.

Compared to July 2023, when it opened, we can now say that the management in this restaurant has achieved a 100% increase from then to now. I can recommend this Greek again. We particularly liked that the usual ouzo was served at the beginning and at the end without being asked, the dishes had Greek maritime patterns and the room decor rounded off the classic ambience. The food came quickly. The service was very attentive. The staff interviewed were knowledgeable about the wine list. We also really enjoyed the free Greek dessert at the end. We'll definitely come back.

Had a very good experience. The food was delivered quickly and although the wrong side dish was delivered for one meal, it was quickly replaced with the correct one. All the employees are very nice and helpful. The prices are OK. An appetizer and dessert were also delivered. Gladly again!

Terrific! Grilled meat and chicken Au Point! The portions are a bit small compared to what you are used to in other Greeks, but the taste here completely compensates! We will definitely come back! :)

What a shame. The food was a complete failure. Gyros so dry that it crumbles in your mouth. We wanted to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The boss reprimanded or discussed loudly with his employees. Is that even possible in front of his guests. I asked his waitress that he shouldn't have this discussion in the restaurant, which was very disturbing and unpleasant. This unpleasant discussion agrees with his food. Never again not with us.

We like to come here. Cozy, friendly and honest... By the way, also with the new team. Very lovingly remodeled.

As a personal restriction, I brought a ketogenic diet with me to this restaurant. Adjusting the dishes was no problem at all and was taken into account. Clear recommendation.

Food was much better. Since the new tenants came on board, the quality has declined significantly. Tzaziki tasteless, pita bread okay, gyros dry. Prices increased significantly. Live music so loud that you can't have a conversation, we wanted to eat and chat, instead full blast Greek music. No response to the request to turn it down a bit. It's a shame, it was the last time we were there.

Schönes Ambiente und freundlicher Service. Das Essen war aber grottenschlecht, definitiv nicht frisch zubereitet, warm gehalten oder aufgewärmt, dürr, fettig und salzig. Dafür war der Minisalat sehr fade.

Die Sternebewertungen sagen alles. Essen ist immer superlecker, die Bedienungen sind alle sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und haben Spaß bei der Arbeit. Ambiente ist sehr locker und entspannt, nicht zu viele Tische sodass man eine gewisse Privatsphäre hat. Sehr empfehlenswert! Danke für die Arbeit, weiter so.

Hatte mit Gästen meinen Geburtstag gefeiert, das Personal war sehr aufmerksam, das Essen war sehr gut, auch unsere Vegetarier hatten keine Wünsche offen. Schade und nicht fair, dass es so schlechte Bewertungen gibt.

Hervorragendes Essen.. Ganz besonders die Vorspeisen sind zu empfehlen. Wobei ich ehrlich sagen muss, dass bis jetzt jedes Gericht sehr, sehr gut geschmeckt hat. Der Service ist auch top 👍 und sehr aufmerksam.. Wir kommen sicher bald wieder! 100%ige Weiterempfehlung!

Einfach unser Lieblingsgrieche. Das Essen, die Bedienung, das Lokal alles hervorragend.

Wir gehen hier sehr oft Essen. Der Service ist fantastisch und das Essen wirklich immer sehr gut. Große Portionen und für jeden was dabei. Auch für Vegetarier sehr gut geeignet. Die Kellner immer nett, freundlich und zuvorkommend. PS: Die gemischte Vorspeisen für 2 Personen reicht locker für 4.

Anstatt einem gemischtem Salat wird neuerdings zu jedem Gericht ein Krautsalt serviert. Finden wir nicht so passend. Außerdem war die Salatschüssel winzig und das besondere Dressing wurde durch Essig u Öl ersetzt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich u hilfsbereit. Ermöglichten uns ohne Reservierung einen Tisch, wenn auch nur für 1,5 Stunden. Das war für uns ok. Jeder bekam einen Ouzo geschenkt. Zu meinem Gericht gab's drei Beilagen zur Auswahl. Ich wollte die Ofenkartoffeln. Leider waren diese nach nur einer Stunde Öffnungszeit bereits ausverkauft. So etwas sollte nicht passieren. Also wählte ich Pommes. Das Hauptgericht schmeckte sehr gut, mit reichlich Fleisch. Für meinen Geschmack zuviele Zwiebeln. Als Gruß aus der Jüche erhielt noch jeder einen Klecks griech. Joghurt.

Unsere Fazit, zu teuer und die Portionen überschaubar, Leider!Service und die Gemütlichkeit wäre gegeben.

Reservierung für Samstag Abend hat einen Tag davor gut funktioniert (für 2 Personen). Sind dann um 18 Uhr dort hin, wir wurden nett am Eingang begrüßt und gefragt ob wir reserviert haben. Der nette Mann hat uns dann zu unserem Tisch gebracht. Wenig später kam der Kellner der uns nach Getränke fragte, die kurz darauf mit einem Ouso aufs Haus zu uns an den Tisch gekommen sind. Vorspeisen Warm und Kalt für 2 Bestellt, kurz darauf kam diese dann auch, der Kellner hat uns erst mal den Tisch frei gemacht „damit die Teller alle Platz haben“. Es waren ca. 10 kleine Teller mit den verschiedensten Gerichten (siehe Foto), alle wirklich richtig gut. Zur Hauptspeise gabs davor Salat und dann, Gyros Metaxa mit Pommes und Mousaka. Beides hat uns sehr sehr gut geschmeckt. Auch wurden wir von unserem Kellner gefragt ob wir zwischen Vor- und Hauptspeise eine Pause machen wollen, haben wir. Das war sehr aufmerksam. Zur Nachspeise wurde uns noch ein kleiner Griechischer Joghurt mit Honig und Mandeln gebracht auch auf kosten des Hauses. Alles in allem, die Leute dort waren alle sehr nett, das Essen gut und viel und es war ein richtig schöner Abend dort. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne.
