Aphrodite FFB in Fürstenfeldbruck

The food used to be better. Unfortunately, the coleslaw was oversalted. Where has the good salad from before gone? The price for the lunch menu was okay. Unfortunately, our server didn't seem to want to show her friendly face today. The price of €5.90 for a 0.2-liter white wine spritzer and a truly meager side of tzatziki, also for €5.90, is unacceptable. This restaurant has been our regular Greek restaurant for 25 years, and we were even there on the first day of the reopening, when quite a few things went wrong. But now the food is considerably more expensive, and the portions on the plate are smaller and of lower quality. Two of our friends (longtime customers like us) no longer go there. We've also become less frequent customers and are now giving up. What a shame.

We were there on Saturday evening, very nice atmosphere. The service was quick and reliable. And the food was also super delicious 😋 We'll definitely be back!!!

We had dinner there, and it was delicious! We were offered two complimentary ouzos as an aperitif, and a small complimentary dessert per person came with the bill. The weekly menu was very appealing, and the regular menu offered plenty of choices for both adults and children. My only complaint was that the fries were a bit too greasy/fried for my taste. Otherwise, it was truly excellent! We'll definitely be back :)

We've known Aphrodite for several years and are regular guests. The staff and the chef are, as always, very friendly and have known our daughter since day one. This time, I decided to celebrate my birthday there, and I wasn't disappointed. We had a bottle of wine and the appetizer platter for two people. Even though there were three and a half of us, it was almost enough to fill us up. Since I was still a bit hungry, I ordered an additional main course. The dessert was delicious and rounded off the whole meal perfectly. At the end, our daughter, as always, scooped up a lollipop.

The food is highly recommended, and the ambiance is very good and pleasant. The service is first-class. We received a very friendly welcome. The prices are perfectly reasonable. We would be happy to come back anytime.

I don't understand all the positive reviews here. For my wife and I, it was the worst meal we've had at a restaurant in a long time: the pita was completely soft, the salad had a strange taste, the fries were dry and like they'd been reheated. Some of the meat wasn't cooked through. I suspect it was so-called "convenience food" (frozen food), but it was also of inferior quality and had been reheated twice. We won't be coming back, and I highly recommend it!

Delicious food, and the selection of wines by the glass is comprehensive. The mixed starters are very good, but if you want a main course and dessert, be careful, the starters are generously portioned. We'd love to come back.

Warning, an absolute disaster! Completely messed up my order – instead of baked potatoes, I got cheap, soggy fries. The €20 meal was a disgrace: a tiny portion, lousy, unseasoned meat, soft, and partly raw. Almost certainly frozen junk. NOTHING is made fresh here! Everything seems cheap, careless, and reheated. The €7 "tzatziki" was a convenience store item – not even two spoonfuls full! This borders on systematic fraud. Urgent warning: Stay away from this "restaurant" – you'll be ripped off mercilessly! Anyone who orders here is throwing their money away. Never again!

The Aphrodite restaurant is highly recommended. The food is delicious, the portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable. The staff was friendly, and they also offer ouzo on the house. ☺️👍

The whole family had a cozy spot in the shady garden. Everyone enjoyed the food. The service was very friendly, and afterward, everyone was treated to ouzo and a small dessert made on the house. We were thrilled and will definitely be back soon.

This was our first time at this restaurant. The ambiance inside is really okay. The service is reasonably friendly. However, the food still has room for improvement: the side salad served with most dishes consists almost entirely of white cabbage (presumably from a can), no green leaf lettuce, no tomato, no cucumber, so nothing fresh. This is handled better at other Greek restaurants in the Munich area. The popular Aphrodite plate was plentiful and fine, but dish 116 "Chicken breast fillet strips with vegetables and cream sauce" was not, as the vegetables were almost completely missing (they had disappeared in a truly microscopic form into the cream sauce). When the dishes were cleared, we pointed this out, and the response was great: "Would you like another plate of vegetables?" We ultimately declined. They would have been better off offering us ice cream, dessert, or coffee as compensation, as is often the case at other restaurants in such cases, but nothing like this. A real shame.

I went there with two colleagues for lunch on Friday afternoon. Very friendly service, a bright, friendly, and clean atmosphere. The portion sizes were absolutely adequate for a lunch menu, and the price was also perfectly reasonable. The portions might be a bit small for men—but that way you can continue working after your lunch break without getting too stuffed. 😉😁 Parking next to the restaurant was quite good at lunch (about 6 spaces in the back courtyard). It should be even easier in the evening, as the surrounding businesses are closed and you might be able to use their parking spaces.

Yes, plentiful food. Almost too much for a normal-sized person. And above all, very good and tasty. Highly recommended. We'll definitely be back. We'll be hungry for two days beforehand... :-))

Tolle Auswahl, sehr gutes Essen und schönes Ambiente. Immer wieder ein Genuss, die Speisekarte ist sehr vielfältig, für jeden Geschmack ist etwas dabei. Alles ist schön und sehr appetitlich angerichtet, reichhaltige Portionen. Es schmeckt frisch, gut gewürzt. Man sitzt sehr schön, liebevolle Details (zB blauweiße Kissen, farbiges Geschirr, tolle Deko etc) verleihen dem Restaurant eine zauberhafte griechische Atmosphäre. Freundlicher Service

Always very good and plentiful food at more than reasonable prices

Wir hatten 5 verschiedene Gerichte ausser Haus - 2 x war der Reis unterirdisch (geschmacklos, wässrig), das Gyros war leider nicht sehr geschmackvoll, der Fitnesssalat war lapprig und warm, die Leber war ok, das Gyros in Metaxasauce war in Ordnung und das Bifteki war auch ok. Bisher war die Qualität des Essens eigentlich immer gut - aber heute... keine Ahnung... Wir werden uns sicher wieder mittags dort was zu Essen holen (es ist einfach die perfekte Lage zu unserer Firma) aber wenn die Qualität weiterhin so bleibt - gibt es leider kein griechisches Mittagessen mehr...

Wonderfully lovingly and modernly furnished cozy restaurant. Modern Greek menu at appropriate prices. Not utopian portions, but enough to definitely fill you up. The only note - in my opinion, it should be seasoned more strongly.

Was here for the first time and was very impressed with the decor, the ambience is really very nice. The food was also very tasty. I had the Aphrodite plate (I didn't want baby calamari and got an extra bifteki instead). I thought it was great that some of the gyros were really crispy and you didn't get the thin "normal" fries. The souvlaki and bifteki are prepared a little differently (you can also see it in the photo), but I still enjoyed them. So will come back :)

We went there again this weekend for the first time in a long time. The ambiance is very nice, the staff very friendly. Unfortunately, the souvlaki was a bit disappointing, and I wouldn't recommend it. I remembered it being much better. The gyro was good, but not outstanding (and unfortunately only lukewarm). The tzatziki didn't really impress me either. The portions were large. The farmer's salad was tasty, but the Greek coleslaw was below average.

When the food arrived, it was lukewarm at best. The service was excellent and the decor very inviting. The portions are large, and you get a salad and an ouzo to help you digest it. There was plenty of parking, but the restaurant wasn't completely full.

Super leckeres Essen zum fairen Preis. Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und sehr freundlich. Wir kommen wieder, ist auch sehr verkehrsgünstig und es waren immer genügend Parkplätze vorhanden.

The price/performance ratio for the lunch offer is very good. For €9.90, a small salad, a good portion of Gyros Metaxa and a small dessert and it all tasted very good and was rounded off by friendly service. You can't find that anywhere in this area for less than €10.

I can't share the negative reviews. The food was very good and sufficient. Hardly any waiting time. I only expect bread with the large starter platter and not only when asked. Staff was nice and quick. Fits overall.

Very tasteful and cozy atmosphere.

We were there for my husband's birthday dinner and had our dog with us. Not so suitable with a large dog as everything is very narrow. One could have been suspicious of the decoration and furnishings, but we didn't want to have any prejudices. The starter was ok, nothing special. The garlic bread was just way too soft, but ok. Then came the main course: I had gyros with calamari, my husband had lamb shank. Some of my gyros were still raw, the fries were ok, the calamari was dripping with fat, all the fat and leftovers from the pan were poured over it. But the worst thing was the lamb shank, either it was partly mutton meat or it was just old and rotten, it was inedible and bad. The pita we ordered was also far too soft and was swimming in fat. The service was nice but not great either. At the end there was a stale yogurt that contained hard pieces. It was so disgusting that we couldn't say anything and just wanted to leave quickly. Please avoid this store, it's a waste of money...

Nice restaurant with friendly service, who doesn't understand but always smiles and tries hard. Food wasn't burner... the cheese in the puff pastry was frozen. The Metaxa gyros was gristly, mushy and the sauce was tasteless. It's a shame. We probably won't come back

Very nice service. The food came to our table quickly and was very tasty. To our surprise, we got a delicious little dessert on the house.

We were a group of 10. We had a mixed selection of gyros, liver in Metaxa sauce, beftiki and other dishes. Everyone was very happy with what they had chosen. Service was great. It's really worth a visit.

Unfortunately no more recommendation! As a regular customer (of the predecessor) for decades and a very satisfied guest at this successor (birthday parties and company dinners) until about a year ago, we are unfortunately very disappointed today. The food was overpriced, the retsina was warm, the pita bread with garlic was dripping with fat. The specially ordered vegetables were carelessly cut roughly and served raw (only onions, peppers, carrots in rough slices raw, see photo) so that it was not possible to eat them, but they were still charged €4.50. The chef then loudly insulted the chef because the carrots were not edible. You don't want to notice that as a guest. Then we ordered dessert at the end. “Hot Love” vanilla ice cream with hot raspberries and cream. The dessert was served without cream. When I asked that the cream was missing, I was only rudely remarked: Do you want cream? At €6.50 for 2 scoops of the cheapest vanilla ice cream and a small dab of raspberries, no enjoyment? Afterwards the female service person was totally unfriendly because I politely asked for the cream. Conclusion: € 85.- including tip for two starters, one baby calamari (mini portion) with also these terrible vegetables, mini bowl of coleslaw, retsina, water, apple spritzer, ice cream. We also received an unfriendly farewell - unfortunately that was our last visit here!

Very disappointing! Service took its time even though there was nothing going on. Drinks and dessert menu only upon request, dirty plates and dirty mats at the table. Garlic pita soaked in fat and without garlic. Dolmadakia tasted like nothing. FrittoMisto was ok. Gyros with fries was ok. Baby calamari very expensive for the quantity, side vegetables just greasy and without taste. Ordered sweet wine spritzer, got sour. Coleslaw without words. Galaktoboureko delicious, unfortunately with spray cream. We won't be coming back

A wonderful evening. The food was more than plentiful and super tasty.

The meat had a nice char on the outside, but unfortunately, it was undercooked on the inside. Souvlaki should be prepared properly so that it’s tender and easy to enjoy, but in this case, it was tough, and eating it felt like a struggle. While the rest of the food was good, I wouldn’t recommend this place to others based on my experience.

We've been there several times but unfortunately the food is getting worse... the food was lukewarm. Gyros were hard and dry and rather tasteless, and unfortunately there wasn't much tzatziki that was particularly intense either. Service should perhaps practice the service basics again. Plates are only cleared away when everyone has eaten. It's a shame actually...

The restaurant makes a dingy impression, the staff is inattentive and disinterested. Food had little taste, very oily, partly lukewarm, meat with black grilled areas. It's a shame for every cent.

Were here for the first time last night, the welcome was friendly and we were shown to the table. The food, well my plate with liver and meat skewer was good but the gyros didn't taste like anything and all the spices were missing. My wife's meal (gyros gratinated in Metaxa sauce) tasted very good, but the gratinated cheese was very burnt in places and inedible. When paying, the lady was apparently dissatisfied with the drink money given. Definitely won't be eating there again.

We went there for dinner 3 days ago. The food came quickly, but unfortunately the meat of the dish (chicken gyros) was pretty burnt on the outside, so I left it alone. After asking the waiter whether everything was ok, we complained about the meat dish. Unfortunately, all that came out of our lips was a “sorry” without any further friendliness. We've eaten there several times and everything was tasty, but that won't happen any time soon.

We wouldn't have expected that there would be such a cozy and good Greek here in the Hasenheide. We will recommend you and we will be back!!!

Unfortunately the food was nothing special. The meat gave the impression of being inferior, the rice was cold and unfortunately the taste didn't appeal to me at all. No comparison to the earlier Aphrodite...:-( Service, ambience and cleanliness were absolutely okay.

We ordered food home. The food was cold, really COLD!! Not complete and on the phone not even a reparation, just an apology. We will definitely never order there again!!

It was a very successful evening at Aphrodite FFB! The food was good and the ambience was very pleasant. The quality and taste experience of the food was not completely convincing. The meat is not of high quality and the starter salad is not very attractive either. The fries are partly reminiscent of the fries from the swimming pool. The squid was from the freezer and didn't taste good at all! Some things could be worked on positively! The overall impression was good but definitely has potential to be better!

So the delivery service is a disgrace. Waiting time 2 hours, food was completely cold and was anything but good.

First of all: food tastes good...but: I just find it ridiculous that the food comes with fries and you have to pay extra if you want rice. I don't know this from any other Greek. Most dishes are served with rice with the option of fries. And then without a surcharge. So what's with this strange regulation for you??? It's not about this one euro, but about the principle. After all, your prices are not otherwise low. The salad offered with the food is also more than small and absolutely “a joke”!! In addition, although the waitresses were friendly, they didn't see any empty glasses and you had to try to reach the waitress yourself to order a drink. In any case, you should reconsider your price premium and other inconsistencies, as there are other Greek restaurants in FFB and the surrounding area. In addition, we would like to point out that we had been absolute regulars of the previous restaurant for decades and that it was never a problem to change anything about the dish we ordered. And that WITHOUT any surcharge!!!!! Reply to your answer: It is strange that you cite the general increase in prices as a reason for the price increase when the side dish is changed from fries to rice. Rice has apparently become incredibly expensive. The only strange thing is that other Greeks offer rice without any problems. It is also strange that other Greeks offer a salad in a normal size and not in a "toddler bowl". It should also be noted that the general price increase was absorbed more than violently by ALL landlords. Some of these innkeepers who also make mistakes of your kind and also lack service will probably bitterly regret this in the foreseeable future. Update from September 17, 2024: New inviting atmosphere, new card and card payment. Plus delicious food, fast and courteous service. Everything just fits here. Great restaurant, nice and fast service, delicious food and the price and performance are also right. Unfortunately, in 2020 you can only pay with cash here, so after a great evening with a great meal we had to drive off and find an ATM. Sorry, The restaurant actually deserves a full 5 stars, but not if payment by Girocard isn't offered at least once.

Were there for the first time today. Until now we were regular guests at the previous restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised; the restaurant now looks much friendlier and brighter. The food was also very good. There was also plenty of ouzo 😉. Will probably be our regular Greek again. Unfortunately, we were no longer so convinced on the second visit. The fish platter was very manageable and the gyros and meat skewers from the grill were pretty well done and dry. ☹️

Except for one waiter, everyone was polite and courteous. Food great, as always. 09/11/2024 Lunch menu changed. The cozy comfort has given way to white furniture. The “greenery” has also been removed. Everything bare and cold. Typical Greek sauce (tzaziki) is completely missing. Dab of garlic paste on 2 calamari isn't loving either. There was ready-made dill sauce on the pike-perch. Sorry, no, it doesn't work anymore. It used to be really good and for some reason it's gone badly. Unfortunately, the nice service doesn't make up for it.

A very plentiful and tasty lunch dish, served by a friendly and well-trained service staff. It is a pleasure to be a guest here.

It is important to me to give a very detailed review with details here in order to make guests aware of these grievances in advance: Unfortunately very disappointing, I ordered moussaka that was frozen inside! Apparently microwave dishes are served, how sad and an absolute no go for a supposed Greek specialty restaurant! There was a small apology on the sidelines, that was it and after about 10 minutes a "new" moussaka followed that didn't taste good. The side salads are grated carrots with coleslaw, not a single leaf of lettuce, not a tomato or cucumber. Really cheap and definitely lasts a long time, you can buy it prepared in bulk at wholesale :( and easy handling without much preparation and costs. We were always very satisfied regular guests in the "old" Aphrodite and something like that would never have happened there! The well-built and deserved reputation of the “usual "Aphrodite" is so ruined, very sad and the original, adopted restaurant name is being abused and devalued! Side salads were always served there according to the season, with fresh leaf lettuce and feta. In addition, the moussaka is a small portion but is priced as a main course and is similar to the category of an appetizer! It was now the second time that the dish served was not edible, the absolute increase: Bifteki with feta was raw inside! This has also happened to other guests there according to the reviews - not an isolated case! The irrelevant statement: it is being worked on.... It's all just words of comfort without any consequences, nothing has changed! There are far better Greek restaurants in the surrounding area. We have now given the "new" Aphrodite several chances, but now the final decision has been made, no recommendation and no further visit, it is not worth it and this restaurant is a complete failure. You can tell the cook and the tenant have no idea about Greek cuisine. Earn money here at any price, cheap, cheap, cheap! The recessions submitted confirm our experience there.

The first impression was that it had become brighter and friendlier. But when the starter plate came for €9.90 and you had to look for the octopus on the plate, I didn't suspect anything good. The side salads consisted entirely of coleslaw, which was also too salty. Overall, the meal was a complete disaster, it was the first and last time with the new tenant. Never thank you again. A drink over €63 each for two main courses and a starter is an absolute disgrace.

If you would like to go out for overpriced Greek food, with poor service and tasteless tzatziki, this is the right place for you. A year ago things were much better. If you go out for lunch, you can expect a little more, at least in terms of taste. 7:15 p.m. Waited about 20 minutes for the order and then another 35 minutes for the food. Super tiring with small children. Luckily there is a noisy bobby car and various other cars on site. Dry gyros, tzatziki without garlic, 12 fries per plate. Only Ouzo has consistent quality

Unfortunately there were several hairs in the food. The bifteki was forgotten in the main course and we got the wrong side dish. The meat was dry and black on the outside. The starter platter for almost €30 is also not recommended.

We went to this restaurant, as it was the one in the area we never tried, and the one having the best rate. We ended up being quite disappointed. The quality of the dishes were not at the same level as other Greek restaurants in the area. The environment was very nice, but we found the food better in other places.

We wanted to try this restaurant on the recommendation of a friend. Unfortunately we cannot share this recommendation. Wishes and changes are ignored. Example: Starter platter - intolerance to fish, we ordered it purely vegetarian. This was completely ignored - the plate was returned. Fish and fish rye cream carelessly removed. This leaves space on the plate free... So less product for the same money. Bifteki RAW!!! Absolute no-go! “Served with tomatoes and lettuce” - yes a 4mm thick slice of tomato and the lettuce wasn’t served at all. Service: Lackluster, slow - very slow. There were 21 minutes between starter and main course. Ambiance: In principle it's a nice spot - but anyone who wants to eat among hundreds of flies is welcome there. Oh, and be careful when driving in - the covers of the gas/water pipes are not surrounded by asphalt - so the tire could definitely have its price this evening - but the price-performance ratio for tires is better than in this restaurant.

Had dinner there today. You can only order non-alcoholic shandy if you drink at least two, otherwise not possible. Had ordered mixed starters WITHOUT meat and fish, with fish paste and fried anchovies. Immediately noted to the waitress that the plate was taken back, fish products were scraped off and the same plate was brought back to us. Afterwards there was bifteki, still very pink, and chicken breast fillet, where half of the side dishes and the side salads were forgotten. But the food itself was very good! Sat outside and of course, in summer there are wasps, but also a lot of flies.

Unfortunately my bifteki (pork) was raw inside. It can happen sometimes. I let it go back and got it back just as raw. That doesn't work at all. What's outrageous is that I was allowed to pay full price for it. They don't see us anymore. I won't recommend the restaurant to anyone else. This would not have happened with the previous owner

As regular guests of the Aphrodite BEFORE the renovation and change, the visit was a deep disappointment. No hospitality, long waiting times, a wine spritzer that barely had any wine content, the temperature that one dish was missing could be found in the drinks. One question, what's wrong with wine glasses????? Conclusion: Never again and we mourn the beautiful past and the ruining of the good reputation built over decades.

Food is delicious, unfortunately the portions have become much smaller, which means the price-performance ratio is a little out of balance.

We picked something up today. On the phone they said we should please hurry up, it was almost ready (while we were ordering!). We then had to wait on site. At home the surprise was that the gyros were swimming in fat! There was something fluffy mixed into the tzatziki and it tasted sweet. Not for us anymore!

Rarely eaten so badly: Gyros were not fried crispy but rather bland and hardly seasoned. Liver was tough, and we were completely forgotten about the side salad that actually came with it. Complaints were not possible due to the waiter being overworked. Instead of the dark beer that was ordered, a dark wheat beer was delivered. When we complained, they said that only the right glass was needed!? And finally, there were a lot of flies in the garden that swarmed around us while we ate.

Were there again yesterday July 17th, 2024. New tenant, new luck and honestly, we were thrilled. Lots of nice people and amazing food. I had a mixed appetizer platter. Also sufficient as a main meal. I've never had an appetizer like this before. Extremely tasty and plentiful. Before that there was a Uso on the house and a yoghurt with fruit for dessert. In the meantime it's worth visiting Aphrodite again. Because I haven't had such delicious cuisine like there in a long time.

Beer garden very messy. After such a long Corona break, you should have the time to clean everything. (Lots of weeds, very dirty parasols, etc.) Cheap plastic chairs that make you sweat a lot. And above all, we have eaten much better Greek food. Never again from us. New owner new opportunity. Beer garden New seating and new tables. Looks much more inviting now. Food quite ok. Only two waitresses who only come when you call them. There is certainly room for improvement.
