Die Qualität des Essens ist im Vergleich zu anderen indischen Restaurants, die ich in Hamburg besucht habe, wirklich gut. Schneller Service und ein preiswertes Mittagsmenü. Die Inhaber, Mutter und Sohn, sind sehr herzlich. Ich habe sogar Getränke aufs Haus bekommen.

Für mich der beste Inder Hamburgs. Unglaublich frisch, hohe Qualität der Zutaten, eine Geschmacksexplosion , sehr gut gewürzt, dazu herzlicher Service.

Ein sehr gemütliches Lokal mit einem köstlichen Lamm-Biryani, verfeinert mit vielen orientalischen Gewürzen und Kräutern. Das Personal war zuvorkommend, freundlich und bediente schnell.

Ich war kürzlich im Restaurant Panjaab zum Mittagessen. Mir hat es insgesamt sehr gut gefallen. Das Essen war köstlich und geschmackvoll. Das Ambiente ist sehr gemütlich. Die Bedienung ist überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Wirklich tolles Essen, lecker, reichlich und mit Schärfe nach individuellem Wunsch. Sehr freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service. Ambiente nur 4 Sterne wg der Lautstärke: Der Raum hat keine Schalldämmung, so dass es selbst mit nur halb vollem Gastraum teils ziemlich laut war

Wir hatten einen angenehmen, leckeren und netten Aufenthalt. Wir waren vom Service, Essen und der gemütlichen Atmosphäre sehr begeistert und kommen gerne wieder.

Ich und mein Mann sind Jahren begeistert von diesem Restaurant. Das Essen und der Service sind immer ausgezeichnet und sehr familliär. Man fühlt sich immer wohl. Außerdem haben wir schon öfters eine Kostprobe von dem hauseigenen sehr lecker scharfen Chilliöl bekommen. Rund um sehr zu empfehlen!

We recently hosted a party for 32 people at this restaurant, and it turned out to be a wonderful experience. The food was absolutely delicious and full of flavor, while the decoration—both inside and outside—created a warm and festive atmosphere. The staff welcomed us warmly and made sure everything was well taken care of throughout the event. All of us had a great time and truly enjoyed ourselves. I would highly recommend this restaurant for parties and gatherings.

Very nice place and clean people. The food was a little too much for me, but I survived. It's hard to miss the entrance, it's at the front. Please don't eat with your fingers, it's not good. Watch out for police operations across the street... (Just kidding, at someone else's expense) 🤭

For me, this is the best Indian restaurant in Hamburg. All the dishes are freshly prepared, and you can taste it. The flavors and diverse ingredients taste so wonderful; there's no one-size-fits-all sauce; everything is perfectly balanced, making every visit a culinary experience. And the friendly service always makes me even more pleased.

The service was really good - very sweet, very lovely. The food was great. They also had little wheat signs in the menu to indicate which dishes contained gluten and which ones were gluten-free which is awesome. Portion size was exactly right for a grown person. The vegan Mango Lassi was heaven istg would definitely recommend.

We were very satisfied with the food. The portions were large, so we were already quite full. Admittedly, it was also very warm that day, so the lassi was very refreshing. The selection of dishes was also large, so you can easily try everything. Whether chicken, lamb, fish, or vegetarian (and much more), the dishes on the menu looked very tempting. As for the ambiance, I'll just say that we sat outside. Therefore, I can't comment on the interior of the restaurant.

June 2025 5* Visited the restaurant for quick lunch. There is indoor and outdoor sitting area. During summer, most people prefer to sit outside. There are plenty of food options. You can order thali combo. I order Paneer thali which included paneer, daal, rice and raita with 1 roti. Food was very home made and less oily. Also I order Salt Lassi which was very good. Here is my food list: - Papadam ***** - Paneer thali combo ***** - Salt lassi ***** Staff is very nice and friendly. Washrooms are clean and well maintained. Place is accessible as there is no steps.

Had an amazing time! Everything was super - the food, drinks and service! We ate the butter chicken which was outstanding. But the real star was the mango drinks. The staff was also super nice and made the dinner experience perfect!

Tried this gem recently and was genuinely impressed! We ordered their thali and samosa — both were absolutely delicious. Very tasty food with explosions of flavor. Had lunch for the first time today. It's worth it.

It was out of curiosity that we walked in and gave it a try, the curry was amazing and palatable, rice can be refilled for free (but the portion was absolutely enough for two), the naan was a little thin but with good taste. I tried the chai tea afterwards, satisfying! The host was friendly and down to earth. Despite the relatively undazzling interior overall, I found the objects like the grandmother sewing machine by the window as well as framed Hindu Deity pictures extremely evocative of the normal Indian household atmosphere. I love it. We will come back for more!

We've been coming here regularly for lunch once a week for many years. The food was always so delicious. Unfortunately, we're moving now and won't be able to come as often. The restaurant owners are very friendly and offer good service. The food has always been delicious. We especially recommend the mango chicken or mango vegetable dishes, as well as the various thalis. The portions are generous, so you're always full after each meal. We wish you all the best and hope to come back for dinner soon.

A very nice smell as we entered the restaurant. They took our order and served us the food within about 10 minutes (we had told them we were in quite a hurry). The food was very nice and the meat was very tender (we had the chicken tikka masala and chicken tikka tandoori). Definitely recommend!

A classic Indian restaurant in the Grindelhof. I had a dal soup beforehand, an Indian lentil soup, very tasty. And then lamb Madras, and made it a little spicier for me. The different spices in the dish were very tasty. Price-performance ratio is right here. Friendly service and a pleasant atmosphere.

Unfortunately my lunch visit was very disappointing. The portions were extremely small (little rice and 4-5 small pieces of chicken), and the Garlic Naan was a big disappointment: €4.20 for a small, flat wrap with just a little garlic spread on it. Overall it was really poor value for money. The only positive thing was that card payment was possible. Unfortunately it was my first and last visit.

Had an amazing lunch ! My Butter Chicken tasted like the real authentic thing ! Masala Chai tasted like a typical homemade recipe, and I love it ! The spice level is perfect ! Service was real great too, extremely friendly and attentive ! Loved It ! P.S. If you can’t handle spicy food, remember ask for mild.
