Super nice staff, great food and a nice boss

Went to this restaurant for the first time because of the good Google rating. The atmosphere was very appealing, clean and well-kept. The boss, I think it was him, was also very accommodating and simply made sure that the guests (i.e. us in this case) were doing well. But it wasn't intrusive! The service staff were also very nice. When it comes to the food, there is only one answer for us...it was really great. The meat is still juicy and not “dry grilled”. The liver that my wife ate was very tender and without tendons...perfect!!! So thumbs up and nothing stands in the way of another visit 👍👍😊

An unforgettable evening – absolutely top class! We celebrated my father's birthday today in this wonderful restaurant, and all I can say is: it was an evening we will never forget! From the first moment we were warmly welcomed - the boss personally greets his guests with a handshake, which is a rarity these days and immediately creates a family atmosphere. The entire team is simply amazing! The hospitality was not only excellent, but truly heartfelt - and you can feel that in every detail. As a surprise, my father was served a piece of cake with a fountain, and then something happened that we have never experienced before: all the waiters came to our table and sang for him! It was a magical moment that put a smile on all of our faces. And then the food – simply a dream! Every dish was perfectly prepared, fresh, flavorful and exactly how you want it. My brother had ordered a large platter of gyros and the boss said to him: “If you’re still hungry, we’ll be happy to fill you up with more gyros.” This is simply a gesture that is rarely seen these days - this generosity and warmth make the difference! There is nothing that I could criticize - on the contrary: this restaurant sets standards for what gastronomy should be like today. Perfect service, incredible warmth and food that leaves nothing to be desired. Dear team, dear boss – you are great! We will be back and can highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. 5 stars are actually not enough for this top performance!

Delicious. And very good service

We were there for the first time today and without a reservation. The restaurant was full but they made every effort to free us a table. The restaurant is really beautifully designed inside. The service is very attentive and the boss personally comes to the table and greets you with a handshake. Despite the restaurant being fully booked, our food came to the table fresh, warm and, above all, quickly. The food was so delicious that I just had to keep eating even though my stomach was full. The suflaki was phenomenal. The meat is tender, great grilled aroma and the taste is a 10/10. Finally, there is a delicious ouzo on the house. And you will also receive a personal farewell. Great evening, great food, great people. Thanks! We'd love to come back.

A spontaneous appetite for Greek food lured us to the restaurant. We were just lucky to get a table without a reservation, early on Saturday evening. Be sure to reserve next time. We were shown to the table and then greeted warmly and friendly by the boss with shaking hands. The menu is extremely full, it's impossible that someone won't find what they're looking for. Drink selection is also great. I ordered souvlaki, gyros and pork steak. This quality was breathtaking. I have never eaten such good gyros, apart from the perfect souvlaki. Incredibly good. The staff was very friendly, even though the store was full. A thoroughly successful visit, we will definitely be back.

For me the best Greek within a 25km radius of Bargteheide. Absolutely recommended The service is great. The food is great and your wishes are very responsive.

So far the Orfeo Greco has been our favorite Greek restaurant. However, our visit today was very disappointing in terms of service. My husband received a meal that he didn't order. In the end he ate it anyway and was happy with it. I wanted the Biftekti instead of the pork steak on my plate. This wish was also not implemented. There was a drink on the bill, which we didn't order and didn't get. In the end, when we paid we wanted to redeem a voucher that we had received as a Christmas present. However, we pointed out that we had a voucher when we asked for the bill. This still turned out to be extremely difficult because when a voucher is redeemed, the remaining amount has to be paid in cash. I didn't know that and it isn't written anywhere. As an exception, the boss wanted to make it possible for us to pay by card, but then we sat for an eternity and waited and waited while the boss took care of all the other guests, except that we could pay our bill with the voucher and by email Can pay with EC card. Only after asking again and waiting again were we able to pay the bill. However, it was then explained to us again that payment was only possible in cash because of the voucher. In addition, differences are made between the guests. There are guests/tables who are offered an ouzo, others are not. We haven't had any ouzo for at least the last three visits. Overall, it was a very disappointing evening in terms of service. We will probably look for another Greek restaurant to eat at in the future. I still don't understand the discussion about redeeming the voucher and I also can't understand why the guests are kept waiting sooooo long in the end.

Really everything was great! The food was very, very tasty. If desired, the bifteki could even be prepared with just beef instead of mixed meat. The service is very friendly and attentive and the boss takes excellent care of his guests - but not intrusively. We'll be back!

The meat seems to be very contaminated here. Probably a lot of arachidonic acid. Days later, after eating, joint pain occurs again and again due to inflammation.

We have been here again for years. Very tasty food. And hot too, since I hate lukewarm food. Staff very friendly and attentive. Excellent! We recommend making a reservation in advance as it got very busy. And finally, we will definitely be back. November 23: Everything is the same Had it, great! April 24: Unfortunately we have to deduct a point because the fries weren't cooked through. It can happen, but the staff didn't even respond to the complaint.

We felt very comfortable at Orfeo and had a lovely evening. The friendly boss is very attentive and takes personal care of his guests. The staff is also consistently friendly. The fresh salad first and my gyros with souflaki were very tasty. The special Cafe-Ouzo from Rhodes is also recommended. I immediately bought a bottle for home. I would love to come here again. We had a great afternoon in this truly wonderful restaurant. The food was great, the atmosphere was great and the staff was super friendly.

We became aware of this restaurant because of the good reviews and were not disappointed! From the warm welcome, to the flexible table layout, to the friendly service staff, we felt very welcome. We really enjoyed the food and the gyros were crispy, very well seasoned and still juicy - a great combination! But lamb skewers, pork medallions and vegetable casserole were also very tasty. The portions are generous. The service staff were very attentive, even towards our small children. The restaurant was full, which is always a good sign. We'd love to come back.

Great Greek restaurant with a very large menu and a very nice winter garden. Service was very nice and drinks were well chilled. A short vacation in culinary Greece. My stomach and my heart are happy and fulfilled after this visit. I really liked the appetizer platter and the grilled octupus in combination with the attentive service.

Good gyros/suflaki. The bread without dip is dismal. This includes aioli or your own creation. The free salad beforehand can also be a little more sophisticated. But otherwise good.

The 100 of the “Tim plates” were not only incredibly tasty but also very well portioned, even for a good eater. The gyro was juicy, soft and extremely tasty. Even the fries were above average. When I was offered a second helping on the house, I was almost speechless. If you are nearby and like gyros it is definitely worth a visit.

This Greek restaurant is simply magical! The atmosphere is warm and cozy, the service is excellent and the food is simply incredibly delicious. They offer a wide selection of dishes, including classic Greek specialties and unique home recipes. I definitely recommend this restaurant to all Greek cuisine lovers!

Eat good. Had No. 96 (Gyros & Suvlaki). Fries were served light as requested (top). Salad a bit too much dressing. Service was great (asked if everything was right/tasted good) and quick/friendly/professional. Ouzo and dessert (which I unfortunately couldn't manage due to the good portion of the main course) were on the house! I would happily recommend it!

Unfortunately the portions are a bit small. I had gyros with suflaki and fries. It's just enough to fill you up. There is also very little tzatziki on the plate. What can you do there?

Unfortunately, it's acoustically challenging inside, but the quality of the kitchen makes up for that three times over. I ate the best piece of liver I've eaten in a very long time (as only my mom can) and passed it on when asked if everything was okay. I must have been so excited that I promptly got a second piece on the house. That's something special. Apart from that, the rest of my dish was on par and my guests also enjoyed their dishes very well. I will definitely be a guest there again when I'm there, I actually come from the middle of the Ruhr area... 👍

Here at Giorgio it's not just the price/performance ratio that's right. Came from Hamburg with the RB81 and "survived" getting off at Bargteheide train station... and arrived at Orfeo Greco shortly after 1 p.m. As always, a warm welcome from Giorgio himself and, as always, great ambience in the winter garden. The service is attentive, as shown regularly at the table.The "kitchen" is really very good...the prices are appropriate for the quality...and the small dishes "on the house" are well prepared...warm baguette with herbs for the salad...top .If you didn't have to rely on the train😰(Getting on and off in Bargteheide Grottenwohl‼️❌)This restaurant and the beautiful Bargteheide would have deserved another train station.

Sehr leckeres Essen, ein unglaublich freundliches Personal und Klasse Ambiente. Der Inhaber Giorgio begrüßt regelmäßig persönlich am Tisch. Ich komme regelmäßig her und war bis jetzt immer sehr zufrieden. Ich kann einen Besuch sehr empfehlen und muss sagen das sich der Laden die 5 Sterne mehr als verdient hat.

Meiner Meinung nach das beste griechische Restaurant in der Umgebung. Giorgio ist ein gastfreundlicher Wirt, das Essen schmeckt hervorragend und der Service ist immer freundlich und kompetent. Die renovierte Terasse ist auch sehr gemütlich, genau wie das Innere des Restaurants. Immer wieder gerne!

Waren jetzt zum dritten Mal dort und sind von dem sehr freundlichen, aber nicht aufdringlichen Service begeistert. Qualität vom Essen sehr gut. Für den Freund unserer Tochter, gab es sogar noch ne gratis Extraportion Gyros,weil er noch nicht satt war.... Sehr aufmerksam, wenn Getränke leer sind, wurde höflich gefragt, ob es noch etwas sein darf... Am besten finde ich immer den kleinen Nachtisch Gruß aus der Küche.... Mega lecker!!!!
