Schönes Restaurant mit gutem Essen und netten Mitarbeitern. Leider schon bei ca. 75% Belegung sehr laut. Es müssten mehr lärmmindernde Elemente eingebracht werden.

Der neue Standort ist wunderschön und moderner als der vorherige, noch eleganter. Die Qualität des Essens ist unverändert hoch. Wenn ich einen Vorschlag machen darf: Ich würde auch italienische Speisekarten anbieten, da viele Italiener, insbesondere während Messen, dort essen gehen. PS: Eine Wein- und Proseccokarte wäre auch eine gute Idee! Die Tintenfische waren fantastisch!

Ein verstecktes Juwel in einem kleinen Dorf nahe München, bequem mit der S-Bahn (Linie S1) erreichbar. Die Speisen sind hervorragend zubereitet, perfekt gegart – Tarama, Pitabrot und Retsina sind ein absoluter Genuss. Das Ambiente ist ruhig und entspannend, der Service freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ein Ort, den man immer wieder besuchen möchte!

Das Onassis hat durch den Unzug nur noch gewonnen. Die Qualität des Essens ist weiterhin auf sehr hohem Niveau und die neue Lokalität hat das Ambiente nochmal gesteigert. Immer wieder (und weiter) gerne.

Seit über 15 Jahren mein persönliches Highlight wenn es darum geht auswärts Essen zu gehen. Service ist schnell und immer freundlich, wirklich alles von der Karte schmeckt mindestens gut. Die Portionen sind perfekt und der Preis ist für die Gesamtleistung mehr als fair.

Ich bin sehr froh, dass das Onassis im Freetz eine neue Heimat gefunden hat. Es ist schön eingerichtet, das Essen nach wie vor lecker und das ganze Team mit viel Herz dabei. Vielen Dank für Eure Gastfreundschaft! An der Bar kann man sich einfach mal auf ein Getränk treffen und auf den Sommer im Garten freuen ich mich auch schon.

Einer der besten griechischen Restaurants die ich kenne, toller Sevice, sehr familiäre Atmophäre und preislich im, für diese gute Qualität, absoluten Normbereich. Nach dem Umzug in die neue Lokalität, ist der Wohlfühlfaktor sogar noch höher als davor. Auch bei vollem Lokal, sind ausreichend Parkplätze vorhanden.

Wir sind seit Jahren Stammkunden bei Onassis und waren immer sehr zufrieden. Tolles Essen, freundlicher Service und eine schöne Atmosphäre. Das neue Onassis im Freetz ist die nächste Steigerung für das Onassis-Team! Das Lokal ist wirklich cool und gemütlich und fühlt sich schon jetzt wie unser neues Wohnzimmer an. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne!

Wir waren nach dem Umzug ins Freetz gespannt am 08.03.2026 wieder da. Ehrlich, es ist nicht mehr der Onassis den wir vom Rathausplatz kannten. Das Essen schmackhaft, aber die Portionen sind kleiner geworden. Schade. Der Service war freundlich, aber wir denken aufgrund des Umzug hat man zu wenig Personal, kann natürlich auch sein das einige krank waren. Wir haben sehr lange gewartet, was wir sonst nicht kannten. Wir hoffen, es war nur ein Ausrutscher. Preis/Leistung hat eher abgenommen. Nett, klein aber gemütlich. Wir waren schon öfters hier und immer sehr zufrieden. Heute haben wir leider, sehr ungewöhnlich lange auf den Hauptgang gewartet. Dennoch Qualität und Preis/Leistung stimmen.

Wirklich toll, wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Der mit Abstand teuerste Grieche den ich kenne! Wir waren 4 Leute und die Wartezeit war viel zu lang, von Mehrwertsteuersenkung keine Spur... Gegrillte Babykalamaris mit 2 Kartoffeln und Salatbouquet 23,50€ in Größe einer Vorspeise fanden wir schon sehr übertrieben, mein Mann hat auch ein Restaurant und meinte, das ist Ware aus der Metro leicht zu erkennen! Für uns definitiv keinen zweiten Besuch wert...

Ein moderner Grieche mit einer frischen Interpretation der klassischen Küche. Die Gerichte sind sehr lecker und großzügig portioniert. Freundlicher, am Gast orientierter Service in einem entspannten und gemütlichen Ambiente.

5 Sterne! Top Essen, große Portionen, sehr lecker und frisch zubereitet! Vor allem möchten wir aber den Service und die Freundlichkeit hervorheben. Alle Mitarbeiter inkl. Eigentümer sind immer äußerst freundlich und positiv. Versuchen es möglich zu machen, dass man auch ohne Reservierung noch einen Tisch bekommt. Sowas erlebt man heute einfach selten, weshalb wir sehr gerne in dieses Restaurant gehen. Nur zu empfehlen! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

One of the best Greek restaurants I've ever been to. I had the appetizer trio of tzatziki, tarama, and feta cream, followed by the mixed grill. Everything was perfect. I was particularly surprised by the rice. I thought it would be more of a filling side dish, but it tasted great. Not dry at all and really flavorful. I definitely recommend these two dishes!

I absolutely recommend it. Onassis is the best Greek restaurant you'll find in Munich and the surrounding area. The cuisine is very authentic, and every dish is always seasoned and cooked to perfection. The menu includes classics as well as traditional Greek dishes, making it difficult to choose. Fish dishes like the grilled calamari are among my absolute favorites. The service is very attentive and courteous—and the entire team is incredibly hospitable and super friendly, making every visit feel very familiar and special.

A bit loud but the food is great

The food was beautiful and the lamb shanks were out of this world. vangelis, the owner was great as was his staff. Would absolutely recommend this restaurant if you're in the area.

In my opinion the best Greek restaurant in the area. The service is friendly and the atmosphere is great, even on a Monday. This was my 4th visit and each time the food was consistently good. The service has always been very friendly and they have a lot of local customers.

Quite nice, but nothing special

Excellent food and service. We arrived on a summer rainy evening but could still enjoy the tables outside accompanied with a cosy ambiance. The owner and his wife didn’t mind serving us with pouring rain. The food (lamp chops & fish plate) were deliciously prepared, with the excellent traditional side plates. Absolutely great restaurant which we now keep in our bookmarks for future trips!

Easily accessible by both public transport and car, this Greek restaurant has been a first-choice choice for over a decade. The food is excellent, and the service is attentive. Only the surrounding area has suffered significantly over the years; the town hall square is now awash with empty shops.

I don't know of a better Greek restaurant in Munich and the surrounding area. I highly recommend it to everyone. We've been going there regularly for several years. Reservations are recommended, as it's always full.

Too expensive and portions too small.

You can really enjoy your meal here. It's extremely loud, making it difficult to have a conversation. You don't get a bill or receipt. The waiter miscalculated and didn't recalculate even when we asked. He just cheekily said, "The bill is so high because of the beers." Unfortunately, we didn't do the math ourselves until we got home. So be careful.

We've been loyal guests at this restaurant for years and look forward to every visit. The service is always warm and cheerful, which makes every visit a special experience. The food is simply outstanding – incredibly delicious and always plentiful, so you're guaranteed to be full. And the best part: There's often a nice surprise on the house at the end. While rather unassuming from the outside, the restaurant impresses with its charming and inviting ambiance. We're always happy to come back!

We had dinner with friends at Onassis on Saturday evening. It was a successful evening. Delight for the palate...hospitality...an oasis of well-being...that's how you can describe it. Wonderfully authentic Greek...what a lovely evening. Definitely again soon... THANK YOU

Onassis is our tastiest Greek in town. I appreciate the always consistent quality and portions (we mostly eat bifteki and grilled salmon) and that you can still get takeaway food (without plastic packaging). Thank you to the dedicated hosts!

Based on a recommendation from a friend, we decided to eat here. The price level was quite high. Bottle of wine between 40€ and 50€, tables without tablecloths, no thanks,,,,,, To be honest, I was a little shocked when I looked at the map. When we got our food I was a bit surprised because the plate wasn't garnished and therefore seemed very bland. To be honest, I expected more given the prices there.

Gyros was dry and partly burnt. Probably from the day before. Side dishes a handful of rice and no real tzatziki. Salad was OK.

Update July 2024: Now absolutely recommended. Something has really changed here in terms of the quality of the dishes. Unfortunately also with the prices. The price level is now so high that you rarely want to afford a meal here. In terms of taste, it was the worst Greek. But since we give everyone a second chance, we went back a short time later. Then it was even worse. If you then consider the far too expensive prices, all you can ultimately say is - go somewhere else. ..it's better and cheaper there

We were there spontaneously today because our local Greek restaurant had unexpectedly closed. We got a table for four people without a reservation and were very surprised by the great ambience, the friendly service and the first-class, delicious food. We'll definitely be back 🙂!

The food is outstanding! Very good quality, decent portions and decent prices! The service is very attentive and yet anything but stiff! You feel very comfortable and in good hands here!

Our favorite Greek restaurant for years, although no longer right around the corner. But the journey is worth it. As a welcome there is always an ouzu on the house. The food is always fresh and delicious! If you come for dinner you should definitely make a reservation and that doesn't just mean the weekend, it's also recommended during the week. If you like it a little quieter, you should take a table near the entrance. Dear Maria, Dear Vangelis, we look forward to our next visit with you.

We went here for a quiet mid week meal. We are real foodies and unfortunately were disappointed by the standard of the food. My meal the chicken was very bland and not presented very well, my partners meal was too greasy. The restaurant is nice and service was good. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food just wasnt to our liking!

Everything is perfect in this restaurant. Very inconspicuous from the outside, but even more beautiful and modernly furnished from the inside. We were greeted very nicely at the entrance and were able to get a table even without a reservation, even though it was quite full. We were able to place the order quickly and the food was brought out very quickly. The portions are large and everything was served hot. The quality of the food is very high and the price-performance ratio is right. We will definitely come back and can warmly recommend this restaurant.

Very well run Greek restaurant. Really lovely people and the food is unique. The grilled calamaries in particular have never tasted so good anywhere and that's saying something. I have already been a guest of several Greeks in and around Munich. Delicate and a taste🤤. It's a mystery to me how they do it. 👍🏼🤌🤤 Come back soon

After an appointment at the town hall square, we went to eat at Onassis. The lunch menu was good and cheap. You can go there again.

Me and friends/family have been guests for a long time and will remain so. The food, service and ambience have not diminished but have remained constant for years. We had dinner with several people. The food was very tasty and the service was very good. The restaurant is very nicely decorated and does not have the typical Greek style. Everyone enjoyed it and we would eat there again.

We always enjoy being with Maria and Vangelis at Onassis. So far we have not found a better Greek in Bavaria and Schleswig-Holstein! Super fresh salads and vegetables, calamari super grilled, gyros mmhhh... Friendly service. If you come for dinner you have to make a reservation. We were now at lunch.

This is definitely our favorite restaurant. The food is delicious, the service is fantastic. We are happy to organize all family celebrations there, from birthdays to baptisms and communions.

An unreserved recommendation, just try it out for yourself and enjoy. I like to come back again and again, whether for lunch in the home office, for dinner for two, or even to celebrate my birthday with friends.

The food was …. Very good …. Recommend the calamari - to die for and the gyros platter …. Presentation was great - good quality…… BUT the service was show - it was not busy….I asked three time if I could order …. and the person took my order but never got the food when I asked him again it came - same issue with the invoice…. Had to ask this time the the boss to pay… he really was very helpful and apologized
