Restaurant Omiros in Henstedt-Ulzburg

Hier sitzt man im Sommer auf der schönen Terrasse, bei leckerem Bier und schmackhaften gruechischem Essen

Das Omiros ist ein Restaurant, welches eine bemerkenswert umfangreiche Speiseauswahl hat. Diese, ich habe dort schon des öfteren gespeist, werden recht schmackhaft zubereitet und werden als recht große Portion serviert. Die Qualität ist stets gleichbleibend gut und das sehr aufmerksame und stets freundliche Personal sorgt für eine angenehme Atmosphäre. Da dieser Gasthof schon des öfteren den Betreiber gewechselt hat, ist das vom Erstausrüster installierte Mobiliar noch immer in Verwendung und weist daher entsprechende Gebrauchsspuren auf. Aber das schmälert den insgesamt guten Eindruck keineswegs, wir sind im Omiros nach wie vor gerne Gäste!

Essen war gut, aber nicht überwältigend. Man konnte schön draußen sitzen, schön überdacht. Leider liegt der Außenbereich zur Straße hin was nicht so ganz ruhig ist. Insgesamt hat es uns aber gefallen und man kann das Restaurant empfehlen.

Essen und Mitarbeiter sind großartig. Beständig, gleichbleibende, gute Qualität.

Sehr leckere Küche, besonders zu empfehlen die Gambas mit Knoblauch und Spinat sowie Gyros, alles top. Der Service sehr freundlich, allerdings fehlt der Terrasse der Charme, da geht noch was ;)

Das Lokal liegt in einem angenehmen Wohnviertel, fernab vom großen Trubel. Sehr schöne und schlichte Atmosphäre. Das Essen wir immer bombastisch. Die Bedienung sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Ein sehr gut geführter Familienbetrieb.

Schönes, eher kleines Restaurant mit sehr netter Bedienung und schöner Speisekarte. Echt legger - die Tapas, daran kann man sich mit Genuss satt essen! Gute Getränkeauswahl dazu - perfekt. Weiter so! Und - immer noch erstklassig, gibt nix zu bemängeln !! Tja, ich bin ja eigentlich gar kein Fan von griechischen Restaurants - mit Ausnahme "unseres" Omiros, einfach Klasse ! 2024 - keine Änderung, im positiven Sinne !

Ich war schon länger auf der Suche nach einem leckeren griechischen Restaurant, da man die in Kaltenkirchen wirklich in die Tonne hauen kann... Da bin ich auf das Lokal gestoßen und war mit einer Freundin da und was sollen wir sagen, wir haben einen neuen Lieblingsgriechen. Es war super voll und die Bedienung sagte, dass es heute länger dauert aber wir haben normal lang gewartet. Da hat es woanders wesentlich länger gedauert. Die Vorspeisen: Schafskäse paniert und Schafskäse gebacken waren der Hammer. Der Beilagensalat war frisch und völlig ausreichend und das Dressing, das war so eine Art American Dressing und so ein leckeres habe ich noch nicht gegessen. Besser wie dieser 0815 Standardkrautsalat. Wir hatten beide Gyros mit Pommes als Hauptspeise und das Gyros war saftig, die Pommes waren dick aber auch luftig, aufjeden Fall, sehr gut. Der Tzatziki war mit etwas Dill angemacht und zunächst etwas ungewöhnlich aber sehr, sehr lecker. Nur etwas zu wenig, was aber bei mir nicht mal für das Gyros gereicht hätte, davon sonst lieber gerne etwas mehr. Ansonsten war die Gesamte Portion völlig ausreichend. Die Preise sind auch vollkommen in Ordnung für das Essen. Beide im Schnitt 32 Euro. Für Vorspeise, Hauptspeise und große Cola Zero/Spezie. Der Chef war auch sehr nett. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und kommen gerne wieder. P.S den Rest hatte ich mir einpacken lassen leider war der Tzatziki mit auf das Essen gemacht worden, vielleicht lieber in ein extra Schälchen, weil so könnte man sich das Essen nochmal warm machen.

Wir gehen da eigentlich so alle 6 Wochen mit meinen Eltern hin und haben von Fisch über Fleisch und Gemüse (die gefüllten Champions sind ein Muss) von der sehr abwechslungsreichen Speisekarte schon vieles probiert. Bisher war alles prima. Das Gyros (extrem lecker auch mit Schafkäse überbacken) ist von gleich bleibend prima Qualität und allein die Pommes sind schon die Anreise wert. Auch die Lammgerichte sind lecker (gut gewürzt und weder zu stark noch zu lasch gebraten). Die Portionen sind wirklich großzügig, auch die für Senioren. Die Inhaber sind sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Preise sind wirklich fair. Gerne mal selbst testen.

This was our first time at Restaurant Omiros and we can give everything a positive review (food, service, atmosphere, etc.). We felt very comfortable and would gladly come again.

We ordered by phone today and picked it up: gyros with fries and gyros with bifteki. It came with salad and bread, but the bread was unfortunately very bland. The gyros was swimming in grease and the meat was incredibly gristly; it was inedible and lacked seasoning. What a waste of €43.

After a long time, we finally went back to OMIROS yesterday. They gave us a table in the private dining room; we would have preferred to sit at the front, but everything was reserved. We had pork tenderloin in white wine sauce, gyros, lamb souvlaki, and chipiti as appetizers, and we were quite impressed. The gyros was truly juicy, just as described on the menu, and the lamb was tender, deliciously seasoned, simply superb. The sauce for the pork tenderloin was unfortunately a bit bland and there was a lot of it, but the meat itself was excellent. Both dishes were served in generous portions. All in all, we had a very good meal and went home full and satisfied. We definitely won't have to wait so long for our next visit.

As a Neu-Henstedt-Ulzburg resident, we ate here for the first time. This restaurant is already one of my favorites. The food was indescribably delicious, the staff were very friendly, we felt wonderfully welcomed, and the atmosphere was super cozy. We will definitely be back. This restaurant deserves more than 5 stars.

Sometimes you stumble upon places quite spontaneously. That can have a positive outcome, but unfortunately, sometimes it can also be negative. In the case of Omiros Restaurant, it was a truly fortunate coincidence. My girlfriend and I spontaneously visited the place with some colleagues after my reading. It's a somewhat hidden gem in Henstedt-Ulzburg. Located on a quiet side street, we were able to sit outside undisturbed on the balmy summer evening. Since I hadn't known the restaurant at all, it was a real surprise how quickly we received our food and drinks after ordering. Another positive aspect, then. The meal itself was very delicious. I had the souvlaki mix of chicken, pork, and lamb with fries and salad. My girlfriend had the salad with chicken strips. Both were delicious. The meat was very juicy and grilled, the fries were crispy, and the salad was nice and fresh. The price was quite reasonable - although we both only had a Coke with it. I can't comment on the ambiance inside, as we only sat outside. But it was comfortable enough. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. So, all in all, a nice Greek restaurant.

My girlfriend and I's visit to the restaurant was purely coincidental. It was already 9:30 p.m. and according to Google, business closed at 10 p.m. We entered the restaurant and were immediately greeted warmly and very nicely. And to top it off, we were also allowed to order dinner. The food served was really delicious. - especially the Curvers fries with their own seasoning. This restaurant was really top class and therefore gets high praise from me, The two of us will definitely eat there again.

We have passed this restaurant so many times and finally managed to eat here. We received a friendly welcome and were given nice seats even though it was already quite full. The food itself was well prepared, the meat was super tender and juicy and the side dishes were also very tasty and well prepared. The portions are enough to fill you up without the plates being completely overloaded. Plus a delicious dessert, what more could you want. We've been there a second time now and it confirmed our impression from the first time. If you are looking for a tasty, solid Greek without a lot of frills and all at moderate prices, this is the place for you. We'd love to come back

Actually, 5 stars are often hard to believe, but here it's really justified for me! Went here for the first time with friends and all you can say was friendly and quick service despite the restaurant being full! Everything about the food was also great, all the dishes we ordered tasted very good, from the tzatziki to the grill plate to the gratinated bifteki! The ambience also fits in well with the overall impression, the restaurant is not too big, nice and cozy and yet clear! So we will definitely eat there again!

Went to Omiros for the first time on Wednesday. Well attended, inside and outside. Bifteki with feta was okay, but unfortunately fries were not. Lamb skewer was grilled well, but still okay. Side salad was great. Pretty impersonal handling from reception to payment. By the way, there was no ouzo from the house. Overall okay, but nothing special.

I had dinner there with my wife today. Service was nice and friendly. The food selection was ok. The price of the food was ok too. And there was the USO at the end. 😁 I would eat there again.

Unfortunately we met there on a sadder occasion. We were 30 people. Food was pre-selected and came on platters for each table. Gyros, bifteki and suvlaki with sides of fries and rice. There was a meze platter beforehand. It was all very tasty and tasty. Staff very careful and friendly. A clear recommendation for me. Prices ok but not cheap either. So gladly again, but not for a sad reason.

Das erste was uns auffiel war der gute Geruch. In manchen griechischen Restaurants wird man von altem Fett und anderen Gerüchen empfangen. Hier riecht es sauber und lecker. Die Fleischqualität ist sehr gut. Gyros auf den Punkt saftig und lecker. Salate normale Qualität. Aber immer alles frisch. Die Bedienung ist aufmerksam und geht auch im vollen Restaurant geduldig auf Sonderwünsche ein. Wir waren jetzt schon 4 oder 5 mal da und haben uns immer wohl gefühlt. Vielen Dank! Macht weiter so!

We spontaneously requested a table for 7 people and got a table without a reservation. Very nice people and the food was amazing. Such tender, great meat and generally great food, we are absolutely thrilled and can absolutely recommend it. First there was a delicious salad and homemade bread.

Wir sind hier schon ein paar Mal eingekehrt. Auch wenn das Restaurant proppe voll ist, stimmt der Service und die Speisen zu 100 Prozent.

Ich war als Ortsfremde hier mit vielen Einheimischen. Es hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Der Service war gut, das Essen sah gut aus und hat wohl auch allen geschmeckt. Mein Gemüsegericht war auch lecker, für meinen Geschmack gerne noch etwas schärfer.

Das Essen im Omiros war absolute Spitze! Ich habe selten so ein zartes Gyros gegessen. Der Service war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam und in keinster Weise aufdringlich. Für meinen persönlichen Geschmack, war das Ambiente ein wenig zu "kühl" , aber das ist ein persönlicher Eindruck, der nicht mit in die Wertung geflossen ist. Wir kommen bestimmt mal wieder.

Ein schönes Restaurant und vor allem sehr gutes Essen. Es gab am Valentinstag sogar ein sehr leckeren kuchlein mit Eis und es stand auf jeden Tisch eine frische Rose 🌹. Perfekt
