Restaurant Delphi in Henstedt-Ulzburg

Wir waren im Restaurant Daphne essen. Das griechische Essen war super lecker und die Auswahl auf der Kinderkarte war auch klasse. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der Service: Die Bedienungen waren ausserordentlich aufmerksam und freundlich. Für mich ist das mit Abstand das beste Restaurant im ganzen Umkreis. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Von Empfang an beste Betreuung. Fleisch war mega gegart. Lange nicht so gut griechisch gegessen.

Zum jetzigen Zeitpunkt muss ich sagen, toller Service. Ein wenig hellhörig aber kann durch Wanddeko bestimmt gemindert werden.

Nettes Restaurant mit guten Service, Essen war mittelmäßig aber okay. Da ist noch Luft nach oben. Der Laden ist groß, deswegen hallt es so . Aber sonst modern eingerichtet.

Stammgrieche von einem Freund. Ich habe Steak bestellt. Nicht eine direkte Spezialität. Das Fleisch wurde nach meinem Angaben zubereitet, da ich es eher "Englisch " mag. Und es war genau richtig. Und sooo lecker. Wir kommen aus Hamburg, doch wir es jetzt auch unser Lieblingsgrieche.

Wir kommen immer gerne hierher. Die Bedienung ist immer zuvorkommend und freundlich. Das Essen ist immer sehr gut. Das Restaurant ist sehr schön renoviert. Gut, dass der Fernseher nicht mehr da ist. Vielleicht könnte die Lautstärke mit Pflanzen komprimiert werden. Die Temperatur im Restaurant ist moderat.

Very tasty food, friendly and attentive service.

We were back here after a long time, and this was definitely our last time. Since we knew that the seniors' plate was smaller than the regular portion (which is why you order the smaller portion), but then you weren't served 50 grams of lamb fillet, it was a completely new experience. Furthermore, the side dish, consisting of chips, was completely burnt and therefore inedible. When we complained, the young waitress replied that it was just a seniors' plate, which always gets smaller.

Typical Greek, not my cup of tea. But the food was okay. Service needs to improve. Sorry, it just wasn't the best.

We had pre-ordered by phone for eight people, and when we arrived, everyone was amazed. They forgot to write down the food. We then waited almost two hours for the food, and it wasn't particularly good. Mainstream, nothing more. The prices were too high for that. The three free ouzos didn't help either. The service was friendly, young, but overwhelmed. Some of the drinks were forgotten. We won't be going back anytime soon.

Went there for the first time today with friends and were absolutely thrilled. The food was amazing and super tasty. Huge portions. We had souvlaki with potato chips and salad. 👍

Here you can eat delicious Greek food. The people are very nice, the portions are very large (I always have to take the rest with me) and the atmosphere is very cozy. We like coming here

Hey. The food was okay, but not great either. Absolutely outrageous: tart service, the wrong beer (they served alcoholic instead of non-alcoholic), loud TV playing, adding to the "train station atmosphere," and then the rip-off: two ouzos were simply brought to us without us having ordered them (we thought it was on the house, as usual at Greek restaurants). Then, upon finally looking at the bill, we saw that one ouzo was charged at €3.50. No go. We went there exactly twice: the first and the last time...

We ate there today for a family celebration, unfortunately some points cannot be assessed quite so finely. The meal started with a good salad and then wore off relatively quickly; the bifteki with sheep's cheese was unfortunately half raw and very salty. There was minimal sheep's cheese in the food, and the rice that came with it was also a bit bland and not fully cooked. There was also baguette bread added and unfortunately it looked like it had been warmed up from the day before. We heard good things and relied on the positive reviews. Unfortunately I don't recommend coming there again.

Unfortunately, the food wasn't that tasty, the Metaxa sauce was a simple cream sauce with no taste. The service is unfriendly. Unfortunately for a Greek it's a shame to eat there. Personally, I won't go there again!!!

We are regulars, but unfortunately the service has been declining for some time. The wrong food was served, which also tasted bad, you can have a bad day, but still not even get a discount on the food the next time you visit. According to the homepage and signs, open until 11 p.m. Arrived at 2:15 p.m. and was told we would be closed at 3 p.m. and open again at 5 p.m. Too bad.

I can't understand the bad reviews. Very good Greek with a very friendly and funny owner. The food is very tasty and the service is very attentive and friendly. For me one of the best Greeks in the wider area.

We have been visiting here for years. For us, this is a really good Greek and it has its strengths exactly where a Greek restaurant in Germany should have its strengths... deliciously prepared meat, professional hospitality and honest cooperation. It all fits. Yes, there are better and worse days - that's human and a sign of little convenience food. Even on the worse days we still ate and drank deliciously. No, it doesn't offer modern chic or ambience - honest food is the order of the day. If you're looking for vegan specialties, you're in the wrong place anyway. Although... the starter salad is really great for a Greek. For us, all in all, the best Greek far and wide!

Our first visit was disappointing. You sit outside with a romantic view of a house wall, you can see some sky at the top, cars are parked in front of us, almost at the table. A small advertising display promised "homemade" lemonade, but it was sold out (why don't they take the sign away then?) and unfortunately they forgot to buy new ones (homemade?). Ok... We ordered 2x liver as a side dish please grilled vegetables instead of fries or rice. First we had to ask the kitchen whether this was "possible"... (a really complicated order...), the chef said -no-! No concession, no suggestion, just "no" and that's it... Service looks different! We left again and will not come back again! No recommendation from us!

Habe am 7.8.24 mit 6 Freunden meinen Geburtstag gefeiert, also 8 Personen. Vorspeise und Hauptgericht kamen bei nem Freund zeitgleich, Getränkewünsche wurden nach mehrmaliger Aufforderung kredenzt. Großzügiges Trinkgeld, kein Dankeschön und keine Glückwünsche, obwohl wir Stammgäste WAREN.

We have enjoyed coming here for years. Even in front of the restaurant there is a Mediterranean smell. On the plates with different meats, everything tastes individually seasoned and is always very tender and tasty. I can particularly recommend lamb. The bifteki is made from pure ground beef and is one of my favorite dishes. The calamari is also really good with the homemade breading, I don't normally eat something like that. The tzatziki is addictive. Most dishes are accompanied by a small mixed salad with the house dressing, which is also very aromatic. Everything is always very fresh and appetizing. The service is very attentive and always has a kind word for its guests. You can also sit outside and spend cozy evenings here.

The lamb smelled bad. When asked, they said it was super fresh. The minced meat was pink, that's how it should be.

The waitress seemed annoyed that guests were still showing up at 8 p.m. on Sunday. There was no ouzo before or after the meal. The lamb fillet (senior portion) was very tasty. But in the past you could get a second piece of lamb for €3 less. We will go somewhere else in the future...

The food was very, very good and ensured the overall good rating. The service, on the other hand, caused points to be deducted. Apparently the boss wasn't exactly happy about the six of us coming in without a reservation, even though the restaurant wasn't even close to full and subsequently didn't get any more. The first drink order was taken and served quickly (the free ouzo on ice was exorbitant). The food (decent portions, but very good eaters might expect a little more) also came relatively quickly and for six people at the same time. After that we were no longer interesting. The emptied plates were left on the table for around half an hour and reordering drinks was not proactively requested. Ambience: If it hadn't been outside, you wouldn't have recognized the restaurant as Greek. Overall 4 stars because the food was more than very good (extra point also for the ouzo).

The first Greek where we didn't get ouzo. Pretty disappointing. But you could ignore that if the rest of it fit. But he doesn't. -The service was super nice and approachable to regular guests, but was almost never visible to new guests and was very unmotivated when they were. You felt very unwanted. -We waited a long time for our food even though it wasn't busy. Our starter (tzatziki) was forgotten and brought with the main course. Thank God we still had the piece of dry bread from the salad, because tzatziki (from the "starters" category) is apparently served here without additional bread. -Small portions (we ordered normal portions, no seniors or children's plates) but the quantity was not justified for the price. We've never experienced before that you don't leave the Greek restaurant feeling full. Taste ok, but not a highlight. With the salad there was a - rather dry - slice of industrial bread per person. The gyros were more than crispy and the Metaxa sauce was unfortunately more of a soup. Conclusion: Our first and last visit. We'd rather go back to Kaltenkirchen to the Acropolis P.s: Stomach cramps were included for free in the evening

Der erste Grieche, bei dem wir keinen Ouzo bekommen haben. Ziemlich enttäuschend. Aber darüber könnte man drüber hinwegsehen, wenn der Rest passen würde. Tut er aber nicht. -Bedienung war zu Stammgästen super lieb und ansprechbar, für neue Gäste aber fast nie zu sehen und wenn dann auch eher sehr unmotiviert. -Kleine Portionen (Wir haben normale Portionen bestellt, keine Senioren oder Kinderteller) trotzdem war die Menge für den Preis nicht gerechtfertigt. Geschmacklich ok, aber kein Highlight. Zum Salat gab es pro Person eine -ziemlich trockene- Scheibe Industrie-Brot. Die Metaxa Soße war leider auch eher eine Suppe. Fazit: Unser erster und letzter Besuch. Wir fahren dann doch lieber wieder nach Kaltenkirchen zu Akropolis

I didn't think the food was that good

The food was absolutely perfect, the meat tender, the salad fresh. The service was quick and friendly. There was a double ouzo beforehand. Souvlaki with rice is my favorite. Absolutely recommended and we will be back soon 👍

It's very cold there in winter! So it's not comfortable, which I think is a shame! The owner should take into account the well-being of the guests! Otherwise we feel very comfortable there!

Haben eine Vorspeise und ein Hauptgericht bestellt. Die Vorspeise stand in der Karte unter der Rubrik Vorspeise. Die Vorspeise wurde 5 Minuten nach der Hauptspeise serviert. Wir haben diese mit der Begründung zu spät abgelehnt. Der Kellner nahm die Vorspeise wider mit. Dann kam die Chefin damit zurück und meinte wir müssen das jetzt nehmen. Wir haben nicht gesagt, dass das eine Vorspeise sein soll. So viel Unfreundlichkeit kann ich nicht ab. Leider verloren. Nie wieder.

The recessions are very mixed, but due to certain circumstances I was still there. First impression was good, but this changes the longer you sit there. Old food under the table (was that from the day before? We sat there at the beginning, even if not, it doesn't belong there). Drinks came relatively quickly. The wish was expressed to have starters and main courses at the same time, this was answered in the affirmative. Of course it came at a different time, which in retrospect is understandable when there are only two people in the kitchen. However, this is then an unspoken annoyance for customers. You have to allow for 1 hour between the starter and the main course. The complaint about the expensive, unordered bottle of ouzo is true. What doesn't work: A customer orders beef to a certain degree of doneness and is answered in the affirmative. Almost cooked beef arrived (certainly still cooked) which had nothing in common with the order. Of course the person had it returned, the person didn't order it for that price. The highlight of the matter is to speak to the customer like a child ("we won't do that again!") that they would have ordered exactly that way and to refuse any more beef. The lady from the service needs further training. However: Salad was fresh, food nothing special but ok for the price. The rice was delicious. Given such mixed and recurring reviews, a few changes might be appropriate.

Unfriendly service, food is getting worse!!

The order took an unusually long time. We waited at least half an hour to be able to order drinks. The staff seemed disinterested and made little effort to respond to the guests' needs. We were a relatively large group and apparently the staff couldn't handle so many people at the same time. The atmosphere suffered from the poor mood in the service. Overall, a disappointing experience that overshadowed the quality of the otherwise delicious Greek food.

I ordered something there for the first time today and picked it up. Food was well packaged and still warm when we got home. Unfortunately the tzatziki was missing, but overall the food was delicious. In my opinion, the portion of gyros was a bit too small, but the salad was plenty. We will test the whole thing again on site. Only 4 stars due to the lack of tzatziki.

Once and never again!!!!! It used to be better when it was called Delphi! Now as Daphne - we've never had such a bad meal!!!! We had to eat: 1.) Gyros - it was so dry and overcooked, it was more like just crust, no meat 2.) Garlic bread - was a baked roll and only grilled on one side...i.e. the other side was so pale and not through, like you see in the supermarket! 3.) Fries - were also pretty pale, not properly fried. And not even seasoned with salt. 4.) Pasta baked with broccoli - the pasta was more than al dente, more like only half cooked All in all, the chef probably didn't feel like cooking! One star is actually too much of a good thing… never come here again!

Das Essen war sehr lecker. Frisch zubereitet und auf den Punkt gebraten. Sehr frische und leckere Salate. Nette zuvorkommende Bedienung. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Leider für einen netten restaurantbesuch nicht zu empfehlen. Gut wir waren frühen Samstag abend da. Viele junge Leute die vor allem laut nach ouzo schrien. Es war sehr sehr laut. Die Bedienung hatte von den angebotenen weinen überhaupt keine Ahnung und zum Teil waren die weine auch nicht verfügbar. Das Essen mittelmäßige griechisches Restaurant convenience dem preiniveau angemessen. Immerhin frische Salate. Was gar nicht geht: nur Barzahlung keine ec Karten. Der eine Stern dafür das wir schon mal in der Woche da waren, da warst etwas ruhiger und nicht ganz schlecht. inzwischen sei einem jahr neue betreiber, da hat sich nicht nur die küche zum besseren gewandelt. darum korrigiere ich meine bewertung nach oben

Guter Grieche, mit nettem Service und gutem Preis / Leistungsverhältnis. Etwas mehr vegetarische Gerichte sollten aber schon aufgenommen werden (aktuell nur 1). Und Kaffee und Nachtisch dürfen auch ergänzt werden. Trotzdem zu empfehlen.

Wochen schon lange hier und immer wieder toll

Ich habe gestern meinen 67 Geburtstag mit meiner Familie dort verbracht. Wir waren 10 Personen und haben einen entsprechenden Tisch bekommen. Das Personal und der Chef sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Auf unserer Essen haben wir, das Restaurant war voll besetzt dementsprechend warten müssen. Was ja auch normal ist. Wir waren das erste Mal dort und es ist mit Sicherheit nicht das letzte Mal. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Ich kann einige Kritiken nicht teilen. Die nächste Familienfeier findet auf jeden Fall wieder im Daphne statt. Vielen Dank nochmal für die gute Bewirtung.

Nicht zu empfehlen! Schlechte Bedienung! Mussten über 2h auf Essen warten, und für die Flasche Ouzo 30€ Zahlen die eigentlich eine Entschuldigung sein sollte vom Restaurant aus und nicht bestellt wurde… Nie wieder!

Nettes Personal, gutes Essen und ein schönes Ambiente. Vorallem am Abend ist das Restaurant entspannt und nicht sehr voll.

Wir hatten großen Hunger auf griechisches Essen und wollten ins Delphi. Allerdings mussten wir uns gedulden, da es erst ab 17 Uhr öffnete. Wir saßen dann draußen auf der Terrasse, was sehr schön war. Ernüchtert waren wir dann allerdings von dem Essen. Ich hatte eine gemische Grillplatte (Gyros und Leber), meine Frau Hänchenfilet in Metaxa-Sauce überbacken mit Käse. Die Fleischportion auf meinem Grillteller war sehr überschaubar. Drei sehr dünn geschnittene Leberstücken (hatte den Anschein, dass ein Leberstück einfach zwei Mal längs durchgeschnitten wurde), die auch durch die Dünne entsprechend trocken waren. Dem standen wenige Gyros-Stücke gegenüber, die allerdings nicht richtig kross waren. Die Portion selbst war sehr dürftig und der Teller sah nur so reichlich aus, weil an der Salatbeilage nicht gespart wurde. Das Hänchenfilet war portionsmäßig OK. Allerdings schmeckte die Metaxa-Sauce mehr nach Paprika - und es waren auch viele Paprikastücke in der Sauce enthalten. Alles in allem hat sich der Besuch NICHT gelohnt, da wir für das Geld, das wir bezahlt haben, bei anderen Griechen größere Portionen und leckereres Essen bekommen. Allerdings war der Service schnell und freundlich.
