Restaurant Olympia in Ahrensbök

One of my favorite restaurants when I'm in the north. Absolute recommendation, great service and good food. We'd love to come back :-)

You should definitely reserve a table in advance. It was very crowded but not overly loud. The food was excellent and plentiful for the prices.

I was finally at the Greek restaurant again and, as always, I was served delicious food. Very tasty food (I've tried a lot and everything tastes good, including the rump steak :-)), friendly service, nice staff and accommodating. The restaurant is always full and the staff doesn't seem rushed, very calm and familiar. Thank you for the nice evening and we'll be back.

We picked up two two-person plates, unfortunately it was cold, the Suzukis were all burnt and the rest were completely dry. Unfortunately, the Greek has completely slacked off. 🥴 and doesn't care about satisfaction at all instead he claims things that aren't true. It used to be really nice as my parents had it, but now nothing is satisfactory

We ordered two 2 man plates. Both were cold. The food was terrible. Totally rude on the phone.

We ordered a 2-person platter twice and again the food was cold and not edible. It's a shame that the owner doesn't care about it. I wish that a second Greek would come to the place and stand up to the top dog. That's not how people treat customers who come over 20 years.

I spontaneously went here for dinner with a friend yesterday. The first visit will definitely not be my last. Excellent cuisine and top service!

One of my favorite places that I know, really good food, nice people, I'm always happy when I'm on the corner and can eat there. I've been coming since 2010 and always enjoy it.

Disappointing, this was our first time ordering here and picking up the food. It was only 6km home and the food was lukewarm to cold. The liver was dry, the rest of the meat was very good but unfortunately cold. The fries were ok, but they were cold. There was nothing to complain about with the salad, except perhaps that the sheep's cheese wasn't just from sheep.

Perfect ambience, with very tasty food. Top service. We ended a lovely last day of vacation here.

There are many Greek restaurants. But this is a pearl. Unfortunately it was full outside, so we enjoyed the lovely atmosphere inside. The food was very good, not too fatty and the gyros were crispy.

Rarely do I go out to eat and be able to call it a 5-star experience. However, this Greek changed my mind. The food, service and ambience are perfect and ensure a great experience. The traditional atmosphere gives the Olympia a lot of sympathy. Highly recommended!

You can only give this restaurant 5/5 stars ⭐️. Since I have enjoyed visiting this restaurant for years, I can say that it is the most authentic and best Greek in the area. The hospitality of the staff and the ambience in the restaurant are incredible. Definitely deserves 5/5 stars.⭐️

Delicious Greek food with decent portions

We were passing through and got a table in the busy, cozy restaurant on Saturday evening without a reservation. Very tasty grilled plates, juicy meat, well seasoned and served in a visually appealing way. Despite being very hungry, the portion was barely manageable. The whole thing was rounded off by friendly staff. An absolute recommendation.

Top restaurant, absolutely recommended!

We stayed overnight nearby and became aware of the restaurant because of the good reviews. To make it short: we can only agree: We were able to sit outside thanks to the nice weather. The staff were all very friendly, the wine was good and the food was very good. We had the calamari as a main course and of course gyros. Both dishes were very tasty and plentiful. There was rice and tzatziki as side dishes. And we were also treated to ouzo. Conclusion: If we are in the area again, we will definitely eat at Olympia again!

It's the best Greek place I've ever eaten, super friendly staff and a great atmosphere, but you should always make a reservation because otherwise you might not get a table.

Five of us spontaneously appeared at the Olympia restaurant. The staff gave us a very friendly welcome and conjured up a table for us. The food was very tasty and plentiful, for me the best gyros I have ever eaten. Price/performance is very good here. We'd love to come back.

Still an excellent Greek! We usually pick up the food. Today we were there for dinner for the first time at short notice. As always, you will receive a super friendly and warm welcome. The small, cozy guest room definitely invites you to linger for a longer period of time. But now to the food: eating on site is a whole lot better than taking the dishes with you. The meat was cooked to perfection, super tender and extremely tasty. The side dishes are rich and tasty. We would come back at any time! Be sure to keep it up! 😉 My favorite: Paris plate

I don't really like Greek food, but the food here was really delicious! We will be back definitely.

Unfortunately, this is my second bad experience. Ordered a table at 6 p.m., got there on time, the place was full and there was no room for my girlfriend and I...after 15 minutes of waiting for a seat, we left without having accomplished anything. It's a shame but then I don't need to make a reservation or I'm not allowed to accept reservations if I can't keep it. Another time I waited almost 1.5 hours for my food... Unfortunately I had a bad experience the second time and therefore only one star…

Für uns seit Jahren der beste Grieche. Hier stimmt einfach alles. Gern fahren wir dafür ein paar Kilometer mehr.

Wir hatten nicht reserviert, wurden aber trotzdem freundlich begrüßt und bekamen sogar einen Tisch ! Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit!.Das Essen war sehr lecker und so reichlich, dass wir noch etwas einpacken lassen mussten! Auch das war kein Problem! Vielen Dank für einen schönen Abend, wir kommen gerne wieder!

Freundliches Personal, Lautstärke im Lokal OK. Essen vielseitig und sehr reichhaltig. Es gibt aber die Möglichkeit eine kleine Portion zu bestellen. Gerade für Leute mit so nicht großem Magen ideal. Das Restaurant ist zu empfehlen. Wir waren mit unserer Motorradgruppe da. 11 Personen und alle bekamen ihr Essen a la Carte gleichzeitig.

Das einzige was mir zu diesem Restaurant und seinem Team einfällt ist:" top Essen und super netter Service!" Die Metaxa Soße ist der Hammer, ich könnte die jeden Tag Essen. Steaks sind auf den Punkt gebraten, die Portionen sind reichlich und selbst ein ganzer Kerl wird satt😁. Ich gehe schon seid über 10 Jahren dort hin und bin immer traurig wenn Sommerpause ist. Aber hey, ihr hab sie euch verdient! Weiter so👍😊. Freu mich schon auf den nächsten Besuch!

Wir hatten Essen bestellt zum Abholen. Es waren ein paar Extra-Wünsche dabei, welche fehlerfrei erfüllt wurden. Das Essen selbst war lecker und ausreichend und vom Preis voll okay. Klare Empfehlung

Leckeres Essen incl. Begrüßungsschnaps. Keine überlange Wartezeit, bis das Essen gebracht wurde. Alles ok. Ich empfehle einen Tisch vorher zu reservieren.

Leider sind die Preise, die aufgerufen werden nicht mehr zu rechtfertigen. Für eine kleine, halbvoll gefüllte Schale Bohnen mit Tomatensoße 7,- € zu verlangen ist schon reichlich übertrieben. Vor einem halben Jahr war auch die Portion Salat erheblich umfangreicher und günstiger. Dieses ist auch mit der hohen Inflation nicht nachvollziehbar. Es gibt mittlerweile gute und bessere Lokale im Ort.

Das Lokal ist einfach nur zum empfehlen. Große Portionen und super lecker. Preise und Service top Kommen gerne wieder.

Große Empfehlung! Sehr sauber; Toiletten super modern, Mobiliar neu und bequem. Der Salat zum Fleischgericht abwechslungsreich und nicht 0815. Highlight: das Gyros! So wie es sein muss, kross und saftig. Nudeln mit Hühnchen und Metaxasauce super cremig und einwandfrei. Leichte ruhige Musik im Hintergrund, Hund durfte mit rein. Preis absolut vernünftig. Eine sehr gute Erfahrung, wir sind froh hin gefahren zu sein und kommen gern wieder!
