I would not recommend visiting the restaurant with Schlemmerblock. We weren't offered ouzo and it took forever to get our order. With our neighbors without a gourmet block, food came much quicker, the plates were significantly more filled and there was also a free ouzo.

The food and drink ordering and serving went quite quickly. And it was also very edible. The portions could have been a little larger. It took forever for someone to come and pay and had to be asked for three times. There was no ouzo either, but that seems to be normal in this restaurant as a gourmet block owner. It's a shame that there is a 2 class system there.

It was sufficient, and it wasn't dirty, but not something that makes you super happy. I think fried potatoes on a Greek menu is a bit strange. 1 ring red onion and nothing of salad or anything like that. And I think the staff needs to learn to laugh once in a while or at least show that you enjoy your work.

It's a miracle that it can even exist. The service, apart from one waiter, was very unfriendly. The food is inferior and carelessly prepared. I ended up there by accident, there's a great Greek restaurant down the street!

Nice atmosphere, especially outside. Unfortunately, the staff is not necessarily friendly and a bit disorganized. When paying, you first had to come in with the EC card reader, you should come in later. The food was quick but that was it, the garlic potatoes were clearly Selgross Fertig potatoes with a few pieces of garlic on them, the gyros was quite tough and not very seasoned, the squid was very rubbery, and the tzatziki probably didn't see any garlic cloves either. It was okay, but I would still resort to alternatives. In addition, dealing with customers with gourmet blocks is worse. If the restaurant doesn't want people to try it out, they should leave it alone. Because unfortunately we now know where we won't go again.

Mini portions. Far too expensive for that Tzatziki wasn't that fresh. We've been here several times in the last few years but it's not as good as it used to be. No salad at these prices. No ouzo. Huge portions at our favorite Greek restaurant.

Nice restaurant, service is great, food too. What's not possible: We were there with the gourmet block and, as is usual in Greek restaurants, the other guests got an ouzo after their meal, but we didn't. It's not about the ouzo, it's about treating all guests equally and that's not the case here. Since this has now happened for the second time, this is no accident. That's why I can't recommend this place. The Schlemmerblock is actually intended as advertising and that you will come back, but that is not the case.

I haven't experienced such unfriendly, rude, inattentive staff in a long time. My husband ate gyros, hard and dry. My liver was a bit too dry, the glasses were empty, our friends weren't happy with the food either. The waiter was more busy smoking at the next table than asking us if we wanted something to drink. You had to get the dessert menu yourself, and the dessert was then reluctantly served to your seat. Ouzo, which you normally get as a greeting from a Greek, was also not served. For a Greek place, sorry to say! Absolutely disgusting

Nice ambience in a quiet location, with a cozy outdoor area. The food was ok, but not outstanding. Very small portions. Unfortunately very listless, unfriendly staff. Although there were few guests present, we had to wait half an hour for our drinks, were sometimes served the wrong food and when we asked again for the menu, we were treated as if we were an unnecessary inconvenience. That was the first and last time we came here. Very unfortunate.

We went there to eat on a weekday evening. You want to have a cozy meal with your wife and then ………… Waiting 45 minutes for food That was probably the worst food we've ever had in a restaurant. Grilled squid was burnt. Spinach rice was soggy and almost unseasoned, let alone seasoned. Stuffed peppers 🫑 were pretty overcooked, 🧄 potatoes 🥔 were still the best component. The service was pretty unfriendly. I don't want to continue the visit and would rather quickly forget it. Just a stone's throw there are two other Greeks, both of which can offer a reasonable level and quality.

The staff is unfriendly and listless, especially the boss himself. The food is not good. I ordered tender grilled chicken and it was difficult to cut. Chicken schnitzel for the children wasn't good either. They were very dark and didn't smell good. The oil for frying is probably rarely changed. We're never going there again.

Beautiful beer garden, pleasant atmosphere. The food was really good. I can particularly recommend the grilled calamari.

Absolute disaster! Unfriendly waiters from greeting to non-existent farewell, food carelessly served on the plate without decoration. Aperol at a table with lemon, full glass and some ice cubes. My Aperol glass half full, 1 ice cube and no lemon. Normally you also use orange... Breading the saganaki like rubber. The food itself definitely doesn't taste anything special, there are far better restaurants. We constantly had leaves on our plates from the tree above us, which was only partially protected by the umbrella. Tzatziki far too little... All in all... Price performance couldn't be more opposite! Not recommendable! A pity!

The two of us ate there today. You have to say the food itself is ok. However, there are better things in the immediate vicinity. The service should be friendlier. What I found impossible is that the main course came less than 10 minutes after the starter. In other words, you still eat the starter and the main course is already on the table.

It was quite nice to sit outside. Unfortunately all the tables and chairs were full of leaves. Since there was hardly anything going on, the staff would have had time to remove them Nice selection of food. Here is something for everyone The food was nothing special in terms of taste and appearance. It was OK. The staff attentive and friendly! The ouzo that you normally get at every Greek restaurant is unfortunately missing here :-((

With Schlemmerblock the meals are significantly smaller and the service is worse. That's not the point of the gourmet block, which is actually intended to attract new guests.

The garlic potatoes didn't taste like anything and the calamari was inedible! The other thing on the mixing plate was okay so far. Only the waitress did the rest. When I told him that the food wasn't okay, he just looked puzzled and was rude afterwards. Not recommendable! It's possible that everything didn't fit for me, but that's the impression I take away with me.

We used to enjoy going there often and regularly. Recently ordered something to pick up quickly. Stuffed peppers (vegetarian) - consisting of skinned pepper pieces (you could guess because they are not classic pepper halves) in which there is a careless piece of feta (i.e. simply cut from a block and put in, cold, not baked, not seasoned, not beautifully presented). etc) was (nothing more, I could have done it myself, no seasoning worth mentioning, no sauce, etc.) with garlic potatoes and tzatziki. Price-performance ratio was definitely not right. In addition, a waiter/cashier who wasn't particularly friendly...we won't be coming back.

We have just ordered something to pick up and there are two cards online. One is cheaper than the other. One of them also says that there is a salad with the meal, but that apparently is no longer the case. €16.80 for the portion consisting of a few garlic potatoes and 5 calamari is therefore absolutely not appropriate. Every other Greek has a small salad with it. Also, the portions weren't particularly large and the food was very boring.

The winter garden is functionally furnished, food was ok, service was unfortunately very inattentive. However, we were there with a voucher booklet, maybe that's why. But I would like to come again because I've only heard good things, because everyone has a not so good day.

We had a nice meal there today until I got my gyros where I found hair inside. I asked the employee about it and he said that this problem has been going on for 3 days? Why is this product still being sold? I then got a new portion in which I found hair again. Zero understanding but still paid the full price. You could have simply asked if you wanted to eat something else, but that wasn't the case. Absolutely no recommendation. And the boss looks at you evilly the whole time.

That was by far the worst thing I've ever experienced. The service, unfriendly, is expressed very politely, no hello, no thank you, no please... the food, of the very last quality, so basically adapted to the service. I'll never go there again. Good bye for ever

Went there for lunch on Thursday. Gyros could have been warmer, it was a bit too cool in the winter garden! Uncomfortable! The other food was hot! However, all the dishes tasted good! Service was bad! Didn't get an Uzo either? Or is it not common there? Normally a Greek standard!

No Greek. Chicken not 100%. Fake Metaxa sauce too salty. Unfortunately, for the price there is no salad supplement or enough garlic cartridge. Owner has changed. It was good in the past

Today we ate at this restaurant for my birthday. We were very irritated by the bad review and were skeptical. But this turns out to be the opposite. The service was very good and friendly, we didn't have to wait long for our food and it tasted very tasty Everything was warm and sufficient portions. We were sitting in the back compartment where the noise was pleasant. There was also an ouzo. The atmosphere there was very pleasant and we would come back at any time.

Food not comparable to other Greek restaurants in Würzburg. Tzatziki not of the usual quality. Bifteki, however, very good. One waiter stood out with his friendly manner, but otherwise people seemed to be dealt with quickly. It's not possible to clear away plates even though half the table is still eating. We weren't even asked if we wanted anything else to drink. Overall, the restaurant was not convincing.

I haven't eaten so badly in a long time. Service is terrible! Rude and not even attentive! You can tell that you were here with the gourmet block. There isn't even an uzou! Unfortunately, other tables got some very badly here!

Tried it as a Würzburger. Like the ambience. Service, well… but you have to admit that it was very busy. Unfortunately, the food wasn't to our liking, gyros were way too light, a mini portion of tzatziki, garlic potatoes, well... and for the first time ever, no ouzo at a Greek restaurant. It was worth a try

Unfortunately we were disappointed with both the food and the service. We didn't receive an Ouso either. We noticed that the portions are smaller than those of our competitors and that they are nowhere near the same in terms of taste. Although you can see on the internet that you can take dogs with you, there is a sign prohibiting dogs at the entrance. We will not visit this restaurant again.

Service was friendly and quick. Metaxa sauce has nothing to do with a metaxa sauce - more like a tomato sauce. If you have a gourmet block, you only get half a portion - the next table had the same food and the portions were much larger. As a guest you just feel ripped off. You won't find a side salad with the main courses or a bread basket. Won't be coming back. Edit: on January 28th, 2024 the restaurant was given another chance due to a voucher for Schlemmerblock. The waiter is not exactly polite, a smile and a few kind words would make every guest happy. Prices are high, but there isn't even a side salad or ouzo included. It's better to go 500m further to the competition, where you have larger portions, a large side salad with every main course, cheaper prices, better taste and very friendly staff

The food tasted average, it was okay... taking into account the VAT increase, it was very expensive compared to other Greek restaurants. Service not available, prefers to sit at his table with friends/acquaintances and drink beer. No asking if everything fits or if you need anything...you always had to call him and you even had to tell him to clear the table. The table opposite gets ouzo on the house, we don't...weird. Ambience is actually very nice with a lot of potential. Parking situation is modest. Went there because of the Schlemmerblock and tried it out. Was the first and last time.

The quality of the food was disproportionate to the price. Cheap food. No ouzo. Leads the Greeks' hit list in Würzburg from behind. A pity.

Naja ich sage es mal so warmes essen ist etwas anderes. Das Essen war noch nicht mal lauwarm und freundlich war der Kellner auch nicht gerade, man kam sich so vor als man störte....

Der Service war nicht sehr engagiert und ziemlich unfreundlich. Wir waren mit Gutscheinbuch dort was den Service noch unfreundlicher werden ließ. Wir werden mit ziemlicher Sicherheit nicht nochmal dort essen. Das Essen war in Ordnung aber kein kulinarisches Highlight.

Das Essen war lecker. Man hätte es durchaus etwas liebevoller anrichten können. Aber die Panade der Zucchini und Auberginen war sehr interessant. Der Wintergarten ist ganz nett gemacht, allerdings war es jetzt im Winter ziemlich kalt dort, sodass es ohne Jacke während dem Essen leider nicht ging. Das Essen kam sehr schnell und das Personal war sehr nett.

Wir haben das Restaurant mit dem Schlemmerblock besucht. Leider war der Service unfreundlich, wir wurden ignoriert und mussten lange auf die Bestellung warten. Die Portionsgröße war nicht beeindruckend und uns wurde kein Ouzo angeboten. Bei unseren Nachbarn ohne Schlemmerblock waren die Teller deutlich mehr gefüllt und dort gab es direkt auch einen Gratis-Ouzo. Leider wurde auch die Vorspeise zeitgleich mit der Hauptspeise serviert. Das Essen war okay, aber das Fleisch war etwas trocken und insgesamt nur lauwarm. Letztes Jahr hatten wir hier ein Gericht mit Metaxasauce, diese entsprach allerdings geschmacklich nicht dem, was man erwartet. Wir hatten gehofft, dass sich unsere Meinung nach einem Jahr verbessern würde, aber leider war dies nicht der Fall. Es scheint, dass Kunden mit Schlemmerblock und ohne einen deutlichen Unterschied in der Behandlung erfahren. Essen und Ambiente OK, aber die Bedienung - denke der Chef -sehr unpersönlich und man fühlt sich eigentlich nicht sehr willkommen. Falls es am Schlemmerblock liegt, dann soll er doch einfach nicht dran teilnehmen.........so geht man halt nicht mehr hin, gibt genug Griechen in Würzburg wo man sehr nett und zuvorkommend behandelt wird und sogar noch einen Ouzo bekommt.Trotzdem schade, ein wunderschönes Restaurant mit griechischem Flair!!!

Wieso macht man als Restaurant bei solchen Aktionen wie dem Schlemmerblock mit, wenn man den Gästen dann nur die Hälfte der eigentl. Portion serviert und zudem noch unfreundlich ist? Vielleicht nochmal die „Spielregeln“ des Schlemmerblocks verinnerlichen. So kommt man einmal und nie wieder.. denkt bitte mal drüber nach, nur zufriedene Kunden kommen wieder.

Im Vorraum wurde uns ein Platz angeboten. Etwas freundlicher könnte man schon begrüßt und bedient werden. Ein Lächeln tut dem Trinkgeld nicht ungut. Meine Vorspeise wurde leider zum Hauptgang serviert und bei Knoblauchbrot hatte ich keine Zwiebeln auf dem Brot erwartet. Naja. Um ein neues Getränk zu bekommen mussten wir selber nach einiger Zeit nachfragen. Essen war ok, aber halt nichts wirklich besonderes. Kann man mal machen. Ouzo gab es leider auch keinen. Sparmaßnahmen? Ist eine Momentaufnahme meinerseits u mein Geschmack. Allerdings gab es in anderen Rezensionen auch schon die Kritik am Service, Freundlichkeit usw. Daher hat das Olympiateam nicht wirklich was dazugelernt. Sorry

Durch das Erlebnis mit der Bedienung gerät das Essen in den Hintergrund. Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an nicht willkommen/beachtet gefühlt. Die Bedienung wollte überhaupt nicht auf uns eingehen, überhaupt das freundliche Sprechen fiel ihm sehr sehr schwer. Sodass wir tatsächlich kurz davor waren nach den Getränken wieder zu gehen. Das Essen war gut.

We ate there using the Würzburg coupon book and obviously we did not get the normal portion of food as compared to their photos advertised above. The daily specials were excluded to use the coupon book(2 for 1). Additionally, this was the first Greek restaurant that we did not receive a free shot of Ouzo, yet other tables / guests did. My guess it was due to using the coupon book.

Hatten reserviert -> keine Reservierung vorhanden gewesen, Freundlichkeit v Personal u Chef ließ zu wünschen übrig, Lammhaxe war dieses Mal nicht wirklich weich. Zwischenzeitlich wird wohl auch ein Unterschied gemacht zwischen normalen Gästen u Gästen mit Schlemmerblock. Bei den letzteren spart man sich den Ouzo.

Waren das 1.Mal hier zum Essen. Ambiente ist sehr schön. Essen wurde in ausreichend grossen Portionen serviert (wir mussten uns sogar was einpacken lassen) und es war auch sehr schmackhaft. Beilagensalat muss extra bestellt werden. Kellner sind sehr wortkarg und wirken leicht genervt. Es gibt aber auch Gäste die freundlich begrüßt und zuvorkommend behandelt werden...... Ob's am Schlemmerblock gelegen hat, vermag ich nicht zu sagen. Sollte aber so nicht sein! Essenstechnisch jederzeit wieder, vielleicht mit etwas mehr Freundlichkeit. Parkplatz war Abends etwas schwierig.

Kellner war mehr mit Rauchen beschäftigt als mit den Gästen, Karten veraltet teilweise fallen die auseinander.

Durchschnittlich, wir haben schon besser aber auch schon schlechter gegessen. Die Portionen waren Aufgrund des Schlemmerblocks kleiner, sollte so nicht sein. Schade.

Wir waren zu 4 im Olympia ein Mal reicht dann auch , die Knoblauchkartoffeln trieften nur so fett , der extra bestellte Salat hatte komisch geschmeckt wie wenn das Kraut gärt … und an unserem Tisch kamen so viele Schmeißfliegen 🪰 das wir den Tisch wechseln mussten ( wirklich sehr viele ) auch beim bezahlen kein Ouzo Der Kellner war aber nett und freundlich Wir werden da trotzdem nicht mehr hingehen , schade um das Geld und die Zeit ,wir haben uns sehr geärgert

Sehr gutes griechisches Essen. Vor allem die Knoblauchkartoffeln haben uns überzeugt. Kommen regelmäßig.

Essen leider nicht warm, Salat und Nachtisch wurde erst auf Nachfrage serviert, Eis und Sahne waren da schon fast flüssig. Kein Wort der Entschuldigung.

Das Restaurant hat typisch griechischen Flair. Den Kellnern und ihren Gästen hätte ein Lächeln gut getan. Beim Gyros fehlte sowohl das Tzatziki obwohl es in der Karte steht, als auch ein kleiner Salat (steht nicht in der Karte, wir wussten es also). Ingesamt eher untere Mittelklasse. (Nicht die Preise) Einmal reicht. Zum Schluss gabs nicht mal einen Uzo, wahrscheinlich weil wir mit Schlemmerblock kamen. Lame!

Stopped in for a weekend lunch in June 2023 - the Greek food was plentiful and very tasty. It was a perfect stop on our way to Bavaria.

Na ja. Mehr als 3 Sterne sind nicht drin. Wir waren eine Gruppe von acht Personen. Die Bestellung lief recht holprig. Zwei Getränke fehlten. Beim Kellner freundlich nachgefragt kann als Antwort nur "ja ja". Bei den Speisen war das Gyros recht trocken, die Leber noch viel mehr. Die Fischgerichte waren richtig gut. Also, man kann dahin, darf aber nicht allzuviel erwarten. Die Preise sind angemessen.

Wir kennen das Restaurant nun seit fast 12 Jahren und müssen leider feststellen, daß hier inzwischen die Gäste nur noch abgespeist werden und Profit das einzig verbliebene Unternehmensziel ist. Bei unserem Besuch am 07.08.2023 waren zur Mittagszeit kaum Gäste da. Der Kellner war sehr wortkarg und als wir zahlen wollten, mußte ich ihn erst einmal suchen. Salat(e) selbst Beilagensalat sucht man auf der Karte vergeblich. Die georderten Gerichte selbst schmeckten gut und waren ausreichend portioniert. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis im Vergleich zu dem, was wir geboten bekamen, passt leider überhaupt nicht. Schade, aber da gibt es im Raum Würzburg (mittlerweile) gleich mehrere bessere "Griechen"!
