The food was delicious. There were no long waits, and the staff were very friendly, attentive, and quick. We included ice cream for dessert on the house. All in all, an absolute recommendation! We'll be going there more often.

We were back after a long time, after hearing there was a change of ownership. This has been very beneficial for the restaurant! Delicious dishes, especially Greek street food like gyro burgers or classic gyro pita, which you usually only find on holidays in Greece and rarely in local Greek restaurants. We had chicken breast in Metaxa sauce, as well as gyro in Metaxa sauce and gyro pita, all of which were delicious! The appetizers were also delicious 😋. The service was simply super friendly. We would love to come back ❤️

Things are definitely going great under the new owner. The service was first-class, we were served very quickly, and to finish off, we were treated to a scoop of ice cream and a masala/ouzo on the house. Fantastic! The food was delicious, and we can't fault it. The gyros were very tender, and the chicken was also tender and delicious. We are more than satisfied and would love to come back.

Great restaurant, full marks from us! Prices are reasonable, service super friendly and very nice! Today we got an extra scoop of ice cream 🍨 🥰 and to finish off, we even got a delicious cold ouzo. It was our first time there and we're looking forward to the next time.

Very nice and friendly people in the service. A bit of a family restaurant (in terms of management). You get a salad and an ice cream for dessert without any notice. The food is tasty and plentiful but standard Greek. When I hesitated about which wine to drink, I got three 'tasting glasses' to try them all. Very cozy atmosphere on the terrace outside. From the street you can hardly see all of that, but luckily we drove into the parking lot.

The gyro tasted like it had been warmed up in a microwave. They threw it away completely. Charging €16.50 for it is outrageous.

Now with a new operator and a truly great relaunch. Yesterday we tried dishes from the brand-new menu... gyro sandwich and gyro burger. Extremely deliciously prepared, the ingredients used are of very high quality and freshness. The value for money is also excellent. It is and remains "Our Greek Restaurant."

I was out and about again, this time heading to Werlte for Olympia... It's always nice to visit different restaurants. I have to say it was worth it; the food was delicious, gyro plate no. 82. Of course, it also came with fresh salad and dressing. But what I haven't experienced yet was the finale: they also included a free ice cream with whipped cream and an ouzo. The restaurant was simply lovely, with great service, a pleasant atmosphere, and good value for money. Thank you for the lovely evening with you.

Good food, large portions, nice staff

Great service, the cook responds very nicely to special requests. The food was very tasty, the meat was not fatty and yet not dry. You sit very comfortably in a large, bright room with small partitions between the tables. We'll definitely be back 😃

We have been eating here every time we are in Werlte for 10 years. The gyros are delicious and the boss is very welcoming. A place to feel good.

Finally back and a great team with new faces and old friends! The menu has been reorganized and reduced in size. I think that's great! The presentation is modern and the food is very fresh and delicious. Even the minced meat for the bifteki was cut by hand. Super!

We've eaten there a few times and have never been disappointed. The food is always delicious, the appetizer platter is a dream, and the service is very attentive and goes out of its way to ensure that guests lack nothing.

One of the appetizers didn't arrive until everyone else at the table had finished, and this was on a day when only one other table was occupied besides ours. There was hardly anything on the menu for vegetarians. My food was completely unseasoned. My companion, however, had oversalted food. When we wanted to take the leftovers to go (food waste is still a given), they only packed up the meat and threw away the vegetables. We had to pay a hefty price for the poor service and poorly or unseasoned food. I definitely won't be coming back.

Christmas dinner... we waited forever, which is perfectly fine when the house is full, but friendliness was a foreign word. The men were the only ones who were friendly. When I came in, my sister was simply told to find where we were sitting instead of being shown where to go. We wanted to pay the bill separately, but we were supposed to go to the cash register one by one. Last year we were able to pay at our table. The manager looked visibly annoyed that we wanted to pay individually. There was no nightcap at all. The general mood among the female hosts was that of an annoyed Grinch. Thanks, we'll find something else for Christmas.

The last two times the gyros were inedible. It tasted like it had been warmed up and was very fatty/stringy. For take-out orders, there are discount baguettes with frozen herb butter. I wonder why.

We had a wonderful evening in this restaurant and the food was simply delicious! The dishes were fresh, prepared with love and tasted of a high standard. Especially with the prices, which are absolutely fair, you feel like you're in good hands here. The boss is a real gem – warm, attentive and with real passion for her restaurant. You can immediately tell that she has the well-being of her guests at heart, and her friendly manner gives the whole experience a personal touch. A small point of criticism concerns the service. The staff seemed a bit inexperienced, and it would certainly make sense to rely on more professional service in order to meet the high culinary standards. The ambience could also use a little freshening up. Although it is comfortable, modernization or small adjustments would further enhance the overall experience. Despite these small weaknesses, the restaurant remains highly recommended due to the great food and the wonderful boss. We look forward to your next visit!

Very bad quality. Twice we got shrimp instead of Bolognese, which we then had to pay for. Fries that tasted like old fat, chicken that was really tough and a sauce that tasted like water with tons of spices. Inedible....Would never order there again...

The food and ambience are very good, the service could perhaps have been a little quicker, but well... it was also very busy. All in all recommended.

The Olympia restaurant will be closed on Good Friday!

It's nice and cozy there...the food is very tasty but here too it's a bit expensive for what you get. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The boss/restaurant management, however, is not that friendly and shows this very clearly in some situations with facial expressions or sayings that are really not OK for paying customers.

Horrible service for vegetarians, no flexibility, arrogant service

Ein großes Dankeschön an die äußerst nette Inhaberin des Restaurants. Da wir mit Hund auf dem naheliegender Campingplatz gestrandet sind und nach unserer herrlichen Radtour total kaputt waren, haben wir im Restaurant angerufen und gefragt, ob auch eine Lieferung möglich wäre, da wir nur mit Fahrrad sind. Es stellte sich heraus, wer fragt, bekommt eine Antwort 😀 wir hatten Glück, denn es waren nicht viele Gäste vor Ort, so dass wir beliefert wurden. Das Essen hat wirklich lecker geschmeckt und wir konnten es warm genießen . Vielen Dank 🙏 für so ein aufmerksames Team . Wir kommen gerne nochmal wieder!!!!

Super leckeres Essen. Das Fleisch war total zart und saftig und sehr lecker gewürzt. Nicht zu übertrieben, sondern genau nach unserem Geschmack. Die Bedienung war auch überaus freundlich und auf Zack. Das war definitiv nicht unser letzter Besuch im Restaurant Olympia. Wir hatten einen rundum schönen Abend dort.

Es war super familiär hier! Üppig und gutes Essen und nochmals vielen Dank an die Besitzerin für die wunderbare Unterhaltung unserer Gäste!

Das Essen war sehr lecker und reichlich. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist auch sehr gut. Sehr freundliche Bedienung und ein schöner Biergarten. In den nächsten 2 Wochen wo wir hier im Urlaub sind kommen wir auf jeden Fall noch mal hier hin.

Wie das so ist am Wochenende, da holt man sich gerne was zu Essen. Leider wusste ich nicht, dass es dort nur noch "Kinder Portionen" gibt. Leider waren die Pommes auch schon kalt. Geschmacklich kann ich aber weiterhin 5 Sterne geben! 👍 Preislich war es für die "halbe Portion" aber einfach viel zu teuer!

Sehr freundlicher und schneller Service, gemütliches Ambiente. Essen war überaus reichlich und wirklich sehr lecker. Das ganze zu fairen Preisen. Werde gerne wiederkommen.

Freundliches Personal, unser Hund durfte gerne mit dabei sein, die Portionen hatten eine angenehme Größe, geschmacklich o.k., das „Update“ beim Gyros-Suflaki für Suflaki-Filet (1 Spieß) mit 4 € aber leider unangemessen hoch.

Endlich mal ein griechisches Restaurant welches seinen Namen verdient. Dort bekommt man auch mal wirklich landestypische Getränke, die man bei den meisten Griechen nicht bekommt.(Retsina,Frappe) Sehr reichhaltiges Essen zu guten Preisen und sehr lecker. Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter und Chefin. Sehr schade, dass das Restaurant zu weit von unserem Zuhause entfernt ist, sonst würden wir gerne öfter dort essen gehen. Jedem zu empfehlen.

Sehr gutes Essen, super Service, sehr freundlich! Keine Spur von Formfleisch! Sind ausgesuchte Filetstücke, Vielleicht kommt es mal anders an weil das Fleisch vakumiert geliefert wird, aber Top Qualität!

Die Location lädt zum gemütlichen Beisammensein ein. Der Service ist TOP. Thomai ist das Herzstück des Ganzen. Das Essen ist Spitze. Egal ob Gyros, Lamm oder Hähnchen. Absolut empfehlenswert !

Lange Wartezeit und total unfreundliches Personal. Essen war leider auch nicht wirklich lecker, Fleisch war viel zu Fett und zäh. Das Salatdressing kommt auch wohl aus der Fertigpackung. Für den Preis hätte ich besseres erwartet ist viel zu teuer ! Auf Nachfragen reagierte die Geschäftsführerin sehr pampig. Da gehen wir nicht wieder hin.
