Absolutely delicious food and a fantastic team! A small but excellent menu with a personal touch, beautifully presented dishes, and a delicious mocha to finish. You can tell they cook and work with love. I'll definitely be back!

One of the best Greek restaurants I know. The food is delicious, the service is excellent, the food arrived very quickly considering it was busy on a Sunday, and the dessert was also very tasty! The atmosphere is very cozy, and I love coming here.

We were very annoyed! Although the owner personally took our order, we weren't informed that they were out of lamb and that we'd be getting bifteki (!) instead. After we complained, a young waiter snidely told us we could complain to the owner... The friendly older waiter, whom we've known for years, then came to our table and was also surprised that we hadn't been informed! He gave us a discount, but unfortunately, our evening was ruined. That's it for us and the Olympia in Ötlingen!

The food was really delicious, but we had to wait over an hour for our order. It's understandable that it was busy and they were short-staffed, but they should have told us beforehand that the wait would be so long – then we would have gone to a different restaurant. Furthermore, the salad was served about half an hour before the main course, so we'd eaten it long before the food arrived, and then we had to order another one. It's a shame – the restaurant is lovely, the food is good, but we won't be coming back.

It's clear why the restaurant is often hopelessly booked. Everything is just perfect, from the food and service to the ambiance. The restaurant is easy to reach, and there are plenty of parking options nearby.

We tried this restaurant this week and were sure we'd made a good choice, as it was very busy and the reviews were mostly positive. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed! We had to wait two hours for our starter, and the salad was forgotten for the main course. They didn't even ask if we wanted anything else to drink; the service was really poor! The staff were very stressed and inattentive. In our opinion, the value for money wasn't good either. The highlight came when we paid. When we asked if everything was okay, we complained about the long wait. Instead of an apology, we even got a scene from the lady behind the counter; she became very loud. For us, it wasn't worth the money and was definitely our first and last visit.

Disappointing Visit – Unfortunately, Not a Recommendation The two of us ate at this restaurant today and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience, both in terms of service and organization. We initially ordered a shared starter and two identical main courses with salad. After waiting over 45 minutes for the starter – we briefly stepped outside in the meantime – the waiter asked us upon returning if we had ordered anything at all. This already gave a chaotic impression. After a total of over 70 minutes, the starter finally arrived – without any greeting, without a "Bon appétit," simply placed on the table without comment. The table was also cleared without asking if we enjoyed it or if we would like another drink. After another 20 minutes of waiting for the main course, we briefly stepped outside again. Back at the bar, I ordered two more drinks. The main courses arrived after about 50 minutes, but without the ordered salad. Only when we were halfway through our meal and I explicitly asked for more salads were the salads served – without comment. Here, too, no one asked if we were satisfied. Finally, no one wanted to bring the bill, so we ended up going to the bar ourselves. Only after we pointed it out was the bill brought to us. The waiter asked if everything was okay, whereupon I calmly informed him that we were dissatisfied with the wait time and service. While I was speaking, I was interrupted several times with loud "Excuse me!" – so loud that the entire restaurant could hear. Finally, a woman behind the bar intervened and yelled at me that the waiter couldn't help it – after all, there were 170 guests. When I asked her not to yell at me, she claimed she didn't yell. The entire interaction was neither professional nor customer-oriented. Instead of addressing criticism, it was loudly dismissed. In the end, we garnered the attention of the other guests – but for the wrong reasons. Conclusion: For us, this was our first and definitely last visit to this restaurant. Long wait times, chaotic operations, a lack of service, and a disrespectful approach to criticism make it impossible to recommend.

Two of us came here for dinner. We shared a grilled octopus, followed by gyro with calamari. So far, so good. Drinks arrived after about 15 minutes. It took over an hour for us to get our appetizers. (It can happen, I thought...) When the appetizer finally arrived, it was slammed down carelessly, and the bread was scattered across the table. Another hour later, the main course arrived, which was served normally this time. The food was okay, but nothing more. We were never asked if we wanted anything else to drink or if we enjoyed the meal. And then comes the final twist: When we were tired of waiting for the bill, we went to the bar to pay. The server was nice and asked us for our opinion. During the honest but friendly feedback, a woman behind the bar, who seemed completely out of sorts, started screaming like a madman. She disagreed with our honest and friendly opinion about the service and the food... Unbelievable! The whole restaurant heard it... She seems to have absolutely no control over the place. Conclusion: Service overwhelmed, food mediocre at best, boss overwhelmed and irascible. My tip: Go for a proper kebab instead.

The rudest and slowest waiters this side of Athens. Food was small. Service was terrible. Waited 25 mins for an order to be taken. If this place was handing out free food, I wouldn't go.

I regularly eat here with my father in the evenings. We have our favorite dishes here, but everything else tastes great too. And most importantly: the service is always fun, friendly, and pleasant!

A lovely Greek restaurant in Kirchheim. Despite being right on the main street, you can sit outside in a quiet atmosphere. The food is very good, and the portions are well-priced. Despite the restaurant being full, everything went quickly, and the staff remained friendly and witty!

My regular Greek restaurant for years. Everything there is fantastic. Top-notch food, service, and atmosphere. I recommend the lamb shank with broad beans.

Portions are getting smaller and smaller, there isn't even a salad with the main course and the prices are so high that you feel sick. I'd rather go to the mill in Köngen, top food and the main thing is that you get full.

A bit dated. The food was tasty and came quickly, but a bit cold. If you just want a decent meal for a reasonable price, this is the place for you. There's plenty of parking. The staff is super friendly.

What a wonderful experience, the Olympia restaurant. As French people on vacation in Hanweide, we thoroughly enjoyed the Greek cuisine. The meat is tender and flavorful, and the quantities are perfect. Definitely stop by.

*Review – Olympia Ötlingen* After a long time I was back at Olympia in Ötlingen, which used to be my absolute favorite Greek restaurant. Unfortunately, I realized that a lot has changed - and not necessarily for the better. The prices have increased significantly, which is understandable in itself, but at the same time the portions have become smaller. I found it particularly disappointing that the side salad, which was always served in advance as a matter of course, is now charged extra. The meat portions (e.g. gyros and souvlaki on a platter) are also quite small compared to before. Another small but important detail: the ouzo “on the house”, which used to be a given, is apparently also a thing of the past. Unfortunately, that certain something that used to make this place so special is missing. Overall, it's a shame - the Olympia used to be my regular restaurant, but this time the visit was rather disappointing.

Absolutely authentic Greek cuisine with really, really good food! Been going to Greece for over 30 years and have never had such good Greek food anywhere else outside of Greece! And top service and simply very nice hosts! The only thing I found unsuitable was the music... for me, such perfect Greek hospitality also requires beautiful Greek music... otherwise everything is perfect!!!

Our only criticism is that there is no longer a salad with any meal. You always have to order and pay for it separately. Otherwise, super delicious food, great staff and a cozy restaurant in general. ☺️

I've been coming to the Olympia in Ötlingen since it first opened in 1991. It's just great here. The food, the always very friendly conditions and the pleasant atmosphere. I love Greek dishes. Over the years the quality of the dishes has never changed, always at the highest level. Simply great!!

The food is still very tasty. But the portions have become smaller. And the village salad is disproportionately expensive at €10. Nevertheless, the restaurant is highly recommended
