Our only criticism is that no salad is included with any meal anymore. You always have to order and pay for it separately. Otherwise, the food is delicious, the staff is great, and the restaurant is generally cozy. ☺️

A Greek restaurant that doesn't impress from the outside or when you enter, but shines with a very good selection, very good quality and very friendly service. A recommendation.

I've been coming to the Olympia in Ötlingen since it first opened in 1991. It's just great here. The food, the always very friendly conditions and the pleasant atmosphere. I love Greek dishes. Over the years the quality of the dishes has never changed, always at the highest level. Simply great!!

Lettuce is fresh every day or is sourced regionally from a neighboring nursery in organic quality, you can taste it... Family business. The service is always friendly and in a good mood - thanks to Doni. After the meal there was one or two encores on the house. You should definitely make a reservation as the restaurant is packed at peak times; sometimes a bit loud when there are larger groups... Prices OK. For normal orders (salad, main menu, drink, coffee) you should expect around €25 per person. If a starter is included, then €30 per person. The portions are large, the main menu and salad are already VERY filling. Lunch is a little cheaper. The recommendation for the main menu is the sliced ​​potatoes. Tzatziki could be a little more, addition possible at any time upon request. Own parking spaces directly in front of the restaurant for approx. 5 vehicles. All in all: clear recommendation! One of my favorite places...

We have enjoyed eating here as a family every now and then for years. The waiter and owner is always nice. It has been renovated and there are new menus, which we think is good. What is irritating, however, is that suddenly there are no longer any children's meals on the menu and the music is now more reminiscent of a bar instead of a Greek tavern. The content of the menu is good, but the chef might need to think more carefully. Because I ordered medium and my meat was more than well done. With the many beef options on offer, I would definitely recommend this 😉

The welcome from the regular waiter was, as always, warm and funny. A lot has also happened in the interior. We felt very comfortable in the new atmosphere. We ate various dishes, salads and dessert. Everything was delicious without exception. At the end there is always a small panna cotta on the house. A great end to a successful evening. The boss cashed in. He was also very friendly and always had a more relaxed saying. Conclusion: We'll be back very soon!

There were 5 of us eating there today for a girls' evening. The boss and his employee were very friendly and, above all, very humorous. We laughed a lot with them. Our food was very good. The menu is very varied. What I found particularly great was that you could choose between alcohol and a 'panna cot' at the end. Many other restaurants either serve alcohol or nothing. We would be happy to come back and would be happy to recommend the restaurant!

we sat outside and it went despite the street (almost like in Greece itself). At the beginning the service was good, the food was good but not great and in the end the landlord didn't want our money. We had to wait almost 30 minutes before we were allowed to pay, even though others at the next table were able to pay faster. In the end it did and no real sorry. There were no tips

I ordered the following to pick up: - Poop pan - Lucullus plate The poop pan was very tasty. Unfortunately, the souvlaki on the Lucullus platter was a little too dry and the dressing on the side salads was very watery and tasteless. The gyros from the Lukullus plate were very juicy and tasty. Addendum from July 2024: The dressing this time was very tasty and we had nothing to complain about with the Lucullus platter either. Since we ate there this time, we can also rate the service and the ambience. Both undoubtedly deserve 5 stars.

We went to the Olympia restaurant for dinner today. We wanted to have a good Greek meal again and were not disappointed. You can sit outside very nicely, the street didn't bother us. Yesterday I had a spontaneous meal at Olympia with a few friends. I always remembered the restaurant as an excellent business lunch. Unfortunately, that wasn't entirely confirmed yesterday. Unfortunately we ran out of bread for the starter, so when we asked we were given flatbreads. When the main course was served we discovered that all dishes were served with rice, but 3 out of 4 had been ordered with potato slices. When we asked, we were told that potato slices were out. It's not that crazy, but I would have liked to have been informed about it earlier so that you could have reconsidered your selection and chosen a more suitable dish to go with the rice. Unfortunately, about 20% of the meat in my gyros dish was really very dark. I really like crispy grilled gyros meat, but it tasted like charcoal in my mouth. Finally, I unfortunately have to say that we had to wait forever to pay; after asking three times, a waiter came. He then gave himself a tip, so he rounded it up neatly himself. What surprised me was that I don't start a discussion because of that, you come to your own conclusions. I'm not sure if I can recommend this restaurant, but maybe it was just a one-off mistake yesterday.
