Great food. The lunch menu is excellent and it's served quickly.

We ate here as a family. From the outside, it doesn't look like much, but the food is very good, even though Greek food isn't usually one of my favorites. The value for money is fantastic, as you can see from my pictures. We'll definitely be back!

We celebrated my birthday there today with six people. The staff was very, very friendly. The atmosphere was lovely, and the food was amazing!! Absolutely delicious! The appetizers alone were heavenly! The main course was also very tasty, a bit too much, but they offered to pack up the leftovers, which we did. The desserts were also delicious, and to finish, everyone got an ouzo. The prices were perfectly reasonable. We will definitely be back! 😍😍😍

Food disappointing - we all felt strange afterward

Our stay was very pleasant until the table was cleared. When we paid, the bill was placed on the table via a mobile phone, and the waiter then left without saying anything. At first, we thought we had to pay with it, but when the waiter returned a short time later, he rudely said that the bill was just for us to look at. We were then blamed for trying to pay with a mobile phone and that he would now have to print out his receipt. The outdoor kitchen is located in a garage at the rear of the property.

Ammos is simply fantastic – super friendly and attentive service, extremely child-friendly, and a cuisine that impresses with freshness and quality. The portions are generous, even at lunch. A particularly nice feature: the large garden with shady trees – perfect for a relaxed summer meal. We felt at home from the very first moment and will definitely be back!

So we were there on Sunday, and it was a very pleasant evening. The service was attentive and friendly, the food was delicious, and the ambiance was beautiful when sitting outside. Large trees provide shade, and the covered terrace, which looked just as beautiful. The only downside, which the restaurant can't do anything about, were the flies. Perhaps a fly repellent that you place on the table and that rotates would be a good idea (this is by no means a criticism).

Unfortunately disappointed —————————— Very friendly staff, that's definitely a plus here. A quick one is served right away, and you get it after paying. Unfortunately, that's it. The meat was very dry and a bit tough. The accompanying salad didn't taste very good either, perhaps it was the dressing. Interestingly, the food arrived after just a few minutes. Other than that, everything is very clean, including the restrooms. What I also didn't like was the smoking at the entrance, which creates a nice cloud of smoke on the way to the restroom or outside. The food could also be more beautifully presented. And Coca-Cola is served in Pepsi glasses 🙂 The price is reasonable.

We were there for lunch and were spoiled for choice when it came to the extensive lunch menu. The chicken breast with fresh mushrooms, fries, and rice, as well as the pike-perch with tomato sauce and rice, were truly delicious. The small mixed salad for lunch, €1.50, was also great. Unfortunately, I didn't take any photos. 😟 The service was very friendly and attentive.

I was there a week ago. Gyros with tzatziki, rice and salad. Classic. Salad was OK, but there was way too much of a limp sauce on it, plus tomato, which I don't like that much anyway (OK, they can't know) but please sauce: more economical! Rice: Cooked way too soft. Meat: It was ok but not ideal either. Tzatziki: It didn't work at all. When I make this at home, it's "firm" and crunchy, and not a soft, melt-in-your-mouth kind of thing. I didn't enjoy it, in fact I even felt a bit strange. Subjective: I don't want to go there anymore! And Keller: It goes like this: I look at the map. He says: UNFORTUNATELY this is a lunch menu. Sorry, my mistake, a simple note without "Unfortunately" would have been enough, and maybe I wanted to know what's for lunch, etc. In any case, a bit strange in nature. Service mediocre.

Food really bad. However, the price is very cheap. If you just want to drink something, you get one point for that. I had cartilage and a hair in my food, the food was bland and almost cold, the rice side dish with peas was inedible. Never again.

We took the lamb dish, it was raw, we told the waiter, they brought it back to the kitchen and instead of bringing back a new dish, they warmed it up, it was still raw. A disappointment. I used to eat well.

Forgot, raw meat... We pointed this out to them and they took the pieces of meat and simply cooked them again, and it was still raw and also huge.

I can definitely recommend the Ammos restaurant.👍 MEGA FOOD!!!The normal side salad is one of the best salads I have ever eaten. Sensational!!! The other dishes were also super delicious!!! The waiters were very friendly and the atmosphere was also very pleasant. There were four of us (2 Americans, my sister and I) for dinner today. We often go to the Ammos restaurant to eat. The food is very good and everyone there is super friendly. If you want to take a short culinary trip to Greece, you've come to the right place. I can only recommend it. Children are also very welcome there.

Really a great shop. Gyros could have been a bit crispy, but the rest almost makes you forget that. I was most surprised by the salad dressing. I've never had such a good dressing. Service and cuisine were very quick and perfectly coordinated.

Food was ok, but the price wasn't justified for the portion. You can sit comfortably and covered outside. When we paid, we rounded up the amount as a tip. The waiter then said: no, it's not worth it, it's not enough advice to divide it up among colleagues. Wow, thanks, I'd rather not give a tip in the future if even just 1.80 euros is too little. That's a reason for us to stop eating there if a tip is only valuable for 4 euros or more.

I am someone who prefers to praise and write positive things. This is very difficult for me. I had the fish plate. Where are the Greek spices? Even the broccoli was almost raw. Not a single spice on the fish or octopus. Even the potatoes were prepared without love. Greece has great spices like oregano, thyme, paprika, cumin, savory, dill, parsley, coriander, mint, sage and chervil. I'm totally disappointed that they managed to bring no flavor to the dish at all. I prefer to cook myself at home. No Greek enjoyment. Sorry, it doesn't work at all. I can't understand the many positive reviews.

We had a fantastic experience at Restaurant Ammos in Kirchheim unter Teck! The Greek food was super tasty and gluten-free, which was very important to us. The outdoor terrace under a beautiful tree provided a wonderful setting, especially at sunset. Absolutely recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy Greek cuisine gluten-free and experience nature at the same time. We'd love to come back!

I read some negative reviews and was a bit skeptical about whether I should order or not. It would have been a big mistake on my part not to order. The food was extremely tasty. the meat without too many spices to feel the taste of the grill. The very good gyros really reminded me of Greece. The salad dressing is absolutely divine. However, the fries weren't the best as they were unsalted and a bit cold. (My mistake was that I was 10 minutes late after ordering by phone). The staff was very nice and friendly. I promise I will come back when I am in Kirchheim.

Ich habe einige negative Bewertungen gelesen und war etwas skeptisch, ob ich bestellen sollte oder nicht. Es wäre ein großer Fehler meinerseits gewesen, nicht zu bestellen. Das Essen war äußerst lecker. das Fleisch ohne zu viele Gewürze, um den Geschmack des Grills zu spüren. Die sehr guten Gyros haben mich wirklich an Griechenland erinnert. Das Salatdressing ist absolut göttlich. Die Pommes waren jedoch nicht die besten, da sie ungesalzen und etwas kalt waren. (Mein Fehler war, dass ich nach der telefonischen Bestellung 10 Minuten zu spät kam). Das Personal war sehr nett und freundlich. Ich werde bei jeder Gelegenheit gerne wiederkommen❤️

Starter plate was very good. The main meal of grilled salmon with vegetables/chicken breast with pasta was ok. Unfortunately, the accompanying salad was swimming in too much vinegar and oil and was seasoned too strongly.

As always, very tasty, we really enjoy going to Ammos. Food delicious, people great, service top, you feel like you're on a short vacation in Greece ❤️
