We found this restaurant almost by chance as it was near where we were staying. The food is really good; grilled meat and salad with rice and yoghurt with honey for dessert. Really good value. Very friendly family-style restaurant with a large number of local people dining; always a good sign!

I ate at your restaurant on Saturday. Four people joined me and they were thrilled. I had the Rhodes plate. The quality of the meat was tender and flavorfully seasoned. Not overly seasoned. So delicious! The comfortable covered terrace was lovely. I missed the traditional Greek music in the background. We will definitely be back.

Four of us went there for dinner. We were able to choose our own table. The food arrived promptly after ordering and was very tasty, but the service was very lackluster and unmotivated. Incidentally, it was the first Greek restaurant that didn't offer ouzo at the end.

The food is very tasty and the decor is cozy. However, we waited about three quarters of an hour for our food, even though the restaurant was almost empty, and the service wasn't particularly friendly. We also asked to pack up the leftovers, and I specifically pointed out that I would also like to take the rest of the tzatziki with me. (I saved a little on it at the restaurant so I could have some left over for the leftover meat the next day). At home we discovered that the tzatziki was missing and had not been packed. This is not okay and very annoying!

We were there at lunchtime on Easter Sunday with 5 people! The service was very good and attentive, even though the restaurant was full to capacity! The food was, as we are used to from Olympus, super tasty and we were very satisfied! It is always a top address where you can eat very well and the guests are treated courteously!

I find it very pleasant there. Friendly hospitality, generous portions. Very tasty food. The tzatziki in particular is great, but the liver and the moussaka I recently had are also highly recommended. We will definitely come back.

I haven't been there for a long time and now again with 5 people. The restaurant is still in family hands. Everyone found the dishes extremely tasty. We had appetizers and the legendary grill and gyro plates. The service was top, attentive and extremely friendly. The prices are still reasonable too. We will come back more often. 👍🏻

The Olymp is a long-established family-run restaurant. The food is very tasty and the quantity is enough for men to eat enough. There are plenty of free parking spaces in the surrounding area.

The food is still good, although a little more expensive, unfortunately the service has deteriorated very, very much. I have known the restaurant for over 40 years, and nothing remains of the previous friendliness and warmth. The staff seems annoyed and overwhelmed, which is a shame.

I wanted to have a quiet meal with my wife. As a father of four children, you don't often have the opportunity to do this. The waitress was in a bad mood. First we were offered a nice table and the food was ordered. Shortly afterwards we were led to an improvised table right at the counter. A cozy evening with my wife and a private conversation was out of the question. I was there for the first and last time.

Ich wollte mit meiner Frau in Ruhe essen gehen. Als Vater von vier Kindern hat man nicht oft die Gelegenheit dazu. Die Bedienung hatte schlechte Laune. Zuerst wurde uns ein schöner Tisch angeboten, das Essen wurde bestellt. Kurz darauf wurden wir an einen improvisierten Tisch direkt an der Theke geführt. An einen gemütlichen Abend mit meiner Frau und einem privaten Gespräch war nicht mehr zu denken. Ich war zum ersten und letzten Mal dort.

From the outside, the restaurant appears well-kept, with a large winter garden, but a bit inconspicuous. Inside, however, it is very beautiful and decorated in a Greek style. The food is very good, such tender gyros will be very hard to find anywhere else. The service is also super friendly and very relaxed. You feel comfortable straight away. Even though we have several Greek restaurants in the surrounding area, we are happy to accept the extra few kilometers. It's worth it.

Hard to beat when it comes to unfriendliness and poor service. Waited 1.5 hours for the bad food. Service only came after ringing several times. Drinks took forever. The space was like a storage room... Never again... Actually you can't give a star. I haven't experienced such unfriendly and obviously lackluster hospitality in a long time!!

Been one of our regular restaurants for many years, the quality of the food is, in my opinion, just like it was on the first day, simply delicious. We've been visiting the restaurant since day one and have always received a very friendly welcome there to this day. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

I have rarely experienced such unfriendly service, I would have liked to have ordered something to drink, but if no service comes, that is difficult! Then we apparently hadn't eaten enough, because other tables received a farewell schnapps when paying, but we didn't!!! I know much more pleasant places, since we travel with 4 people every few weeks, Olympus probably doesn't stand a chance anymore!

Unfortunately I can't give more stars. We've been dining there again for a few years with four people. The taste was OK, coleslaw from the package, watery rice. One guest was missing the kaottelet, which was carelessly placed on a cake plate on the table after about 45 minutes without an apology or other comment. Staff inattentive. We won't be going there again anytime soon.

Seit mehr als 20 Jahren bin ich schon Gast beim "Griechen in Kreuztal" und waren eigentlich immer zufrieden. Nicht so bei meinem letzten Besuch. Die Fleischspieße und das Gyros waren extrem trocken und haben überhaupt nicht geschmeckt. Die Pommes waren kalt und so nicht genießbar. Den Kellner habe ich darauf angesprochen, der reagierte nur schnippisch. Ich haffe die hatten nur einen schlechten Tag. Werde es nochmal probieren und wenn es dann nicht besser ist, ein großen Bogen um das Lokal machen. Was ich sehr schade fände.

We were invited here for a 60th birthday and the food tasted good. We were given several plates and platters on the table to serve ourselves, which was very well received. Drinks usually came quickly, but unfortunately fries that were ordered took a little longer. In general the service could have been a little better, not that it was bad but the friendliness was a bit lacking. All in all, we had a great celebration and everyone was fed up. We will definitely come back again.

The food is always delicious and we have enjoyed coming to the restaurant regularly with the whole family over the years. A few weeks ago my in-laws celebrated a birthday in the restaurant and families with children were also there. First we were taken to the back corner of the restaurant and asked to stay there with the children. Afterwards, we received comments from various waiters and the waitress about how terrible they think it is with children and how they are glad that their own children are of the same age as the children who were with us. In addition, the children were regularly warned to be careful when eating and drinking. We felt so unwelcome that we will never visit this restaurant again! None of our children were loud or bothered the other guests and yet we were treated like second class guests because we had children with us. I can't understand how such disgusting behavior can alienate regular guests! Thank you and never again!!!

Regular visits for 40 years and always excellent quality. The service is always more than satisfactory with every visit. I can only recommend this restaurant to everyone. Even compared to other Greek restaurants, the quality of the food is always outstanding.

We ate there today after several visits and had a lovely evening. The owner family and the employees are very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is like being on holiday in Greece. The food is very tasteful. The best meat, homemade salads and great side dishes invite you to go there again. Price-performance ratio fits. We'd love to come back.

The taste wasn't what I expected, my daughter's fries weren't cooked through, and all the dishes weren't hot when they arrived at the table

It was very busy, so it took about an hour for the food to arrive. The food itself was very good. The meat in particular was perfect (both beef, pork and lamb). Unfortunately, the shrimp were difficult to remove from the shell and had little flavor. It also makes sense if shrimp are served in one piece to offer a bowl of water for the fingers or at least more than this small paper serving.

Seit vielen Jahren essen wir gerne im Olymp, aber die Preissteigerung, die jetzt stattgefunden hat ist sehr unverschämt. Statt 19,50€ haben wir für das gleiche Gericht 26,50€ gezahlt. Nie wieder Olymp.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Abend im Olymp. Die Räumlichkeiten finde ich ansprechend und freundlich. Der Service war sehr freundlich, humorvoll und zuvorkommend. Das Essen war sehr lecker und großzügig bemessen. Wir waren zum ersten mal hier. Aber sicher nicht zum letzten mal.

Wir waren hier mit der Firma essen. Nicht nur, dass es hier absolut großartig schmeckt, auch der Service war hervorragend. Ein Mann mittleren Alters hat uns genau die passende Vorspeise empfohlen und auch Sonderwünsche problemlos erfüllt. Dabei war er noch höflich, sympathisch und witzig. Jederzeit wieder!

Vor 5 Jahren habe ich 5 Sterne für alles gegeben. Das Essen war wirklich richtig lecker aber dann hört es auch schon auf. Kein freundliches Gesicht, kein Ouzo nach dem Essen, weil die nächsten Gäste schon auf unseren Tisch warten. Zahnstocher musste ich 2 x nachfragen. Alles in allem schlechter Service. Schade

Gutes Essen, schmeckt wie vor 30 Jahren. Leider ist der Inhaber im Service nicht mehr so freundlich wie der alte Chef, daher nur 4 Sterne.

Waren seit längerem nochmals im Olymp. Das ehemalige Wartezimmer mit 60 Minuten Verweilzeit von der Bestellung bis zum Servieren ist passé, oder wir hatten diesmal Glück. Eine angemesse Wartezeit von 40 Minuten hatten wir, bis Apollo-Teller & Co. serviert wurden. Das Essen empfanden alle Beteiligten als gut, jedoch war es stellenweise nur lauwarm. Das Licht hätte etwas heller sein können, oder die dicke Staubschicht der Lampen gehört beseitigt. Ein Dimmer war jedenfalls nicht zu finden. Für ein griechisches Restaurant waren die Eis-Desserts auf sehr gutem Niveau. Qualität wie im Eiscafé gibt's natürlich nicht. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und Mitarbeiterfreundlichkeit waren alles in allem o.k.

Seit Jahren gehen wir immer mal wieder mit der Familie zu bestimmten Anlässen ins Olymp essen, jetzt zuletzt zum Jahrestag mit meiner Frau, waren wir mal zu zweit da. Ambiente ist schön gemütlich im Innenbereich, der Wintergarten vor dem Eingang ist auch schön her gerichtet, passt aber irgendwie nicht so Recht zusammen wenn man innen und "außen" Bereich betrachtet. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und es werden auch Sonderwünsche beachtet, wie z.b. Soße in einer Sauciere. Die Portionen sind ebenfalls ordentlich, satt wird man definitiv, zu seinem Preis, versteht sich. Der Service war schnell und recht freundlich, 8€ Trinkgeld wurden allerdings nicht so wirklich als angemessen angesehen hatte ich den Eindruck. Dankbarkeit war nicht wirklich zu verzeichnen.

Seit Jahren unser Stammlokal, schon unsere Eltern gingen hierher. Top Service und sehr leckere Küche. Alle Sonderwünsche werden erfüllt. Absolut empfehlenswert!!!

Waren mehrfach dort...super! Beim Mittagstisch waren wir so unentschlossen,daß uns eine Platte für 5 Personen angeboten wurde...die so gar nicht in der Karte steht!!! Sie wurde unseren Wünschen angepasst,ohne dafür einen Aufpreis zahlen zu müssen.TOLLE Fleischqualität und TOLLER Service...gerne immer wieder!!!!!

Wir waren heute mit 7 Personen (4 Erw., 3 Kids) im Olymp beim Mittagessen. Sehr zuvorkommender Service: Beilagen umzubestellen, individuelle Zusammenstellung der Gerichte fuer Kinder oder kleinere Portionen fuer Senioren sind hier ueberhaupt kein Problem. Die Wartezeiten waren absolut in Ordnung, das Essen war sehr lecker und die Portionen gross. Exzellentes Preis-Leistungsverhaeltnis!

Bedienung war sehr unfreundlich, nicht mal ein Lächeln übrig. Ambiente nicht ansprechend,altmodisch gehalten,nur der untere Bereich am Eingang war erneuert. Essen war ok.Gehen wir nicht nochmal hin,man gab uns das Gefühl dass man nach dem Essen gehen sollte.

Hervorragender Geschmack und Service. Das Restaurant war voll und dennoch stand unser Essen innerhalb von 20 Minuten auf dem Tisch. Aufmerksame und herzliche Bedienung. Geschmacklich 10/10. Besser kann man es kaum machen.

Absolut nicht zu empfehlen, Preis Leistung passt ganz und gar nicht. Vor einigen Jahren noch Top und von uns häufig Besucht. ...... nie wieder.

Unser bisheriger Top Grieche! Wir waren seit einiger Zeit nicht mehr zufrieden mit den Speisen. Eigentlich bewegen wir uns hier auf dem Niveau einer Dönerbude nur zu anderen Preisen.Geht gar nicht mehr.Schade.

Wir kommen schon seit mehr als 30 Jahren immer wieder gerne ins Olymp. Wir sind noch nie enttäuscht worden. Immer war das Essen frisch zubereitet und der Service gut. Wir haben hier Familienfeiern gehabt oder einen schönen Abend zu zweit. Heute am Ostersonntag haben wir uns Essen mit nach Hause genommen und waren wieder sehr zufrieden. Schade, dass der nette Service und die schöne gepflegte Atmosphäre im Restaurant fehlt. Aber selbst beim Essen To go gibt es einen kleinen Ouzo dazu. Gerne weiter so und Corona ist auch irgendwann vorbei.

Wir hatten Hochzeitstag und wollten einen schönen Abend mit gutem Essen bekom- men. Dies war nicht der Fall. Wir hatten 2 versch. Grillteller bestellt, bei meinem war das Gyros in winzige Teilchen zerschnitten und eher eine Kinderportion. Der Gemüsereis mit 2 großen Schalen der Erbse ebenfalls nicht lecker, auch vom ansehen. Der Ge- schmack fade. Die Vorspreise, Tzazikki für 5,- € auch nicht sehr preiswert. Nimmt man jetzt noch die Wartezeit von über 50 Minuten, als einziger Gast dazu, bleiben nur 2 Sterne übrig. Wir kommen nicht wieder!!

Egal was man isst, es ist alles frisch zubereitet und schmeckt hervorragend! Die Kalamari sind zart und keine TK Gummiringe! Gyros und Tsatsiki super gewürzt!

Ich bin quasi die zweite Generation einer Stammgast Familie! Meine Eltern gingen schon seit über 35 Jahren regelmäßig im Jahr in den Olymp und so habe ich es quasi geerbt. Die Qualität des Essens ist über jeden Zweifel erhaben! Der Service ist durch die Bank weg immer top gewesen in all den ganzen Jahren. Leider haben die Portionen jedoch etwas nachgelassen mit den Jahren. Dennoch passt das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nach wie vor. So komm auch ich gern mehrmals im Jahr hierher und genieße die griechische Küche!

Es ist einfach nur grandios! Besonders die Kalamari sind empfehlenswert! Hier wird jeder glücklich das Restaurant verlassen!

Ausgezeichnete Griechische Küche mit großen Portionen und sehr aufmerksamer und freundlicher Bedienung. Zumindest am Wochenende sollte man unbedingt vorab reservieren.

Das Restaurant Olymp ist meiner Meinung nach das beste griechische Restaurant im Siegerland. Die Qualität der Speisen und das passende Ambiente sind einfach stimmig und gut. Leider fällt auf, dass die "jüngere Generation", die zunehmend die Zügel in der Hand hält, nicht so souverän klar kommt, wie man es gewohnt ist. Service hat teilweise stark nachgelassen.
