We've been coming here for years, we're from out of town. Our mother lives here and we've had many celebrations here. Today, the two of us ate gyros, which was cold, and the salad was forgotten. The waitress (a woman) asked if we wanted one and brought one immediately. Next to us was a long table where they obviously had more money. We were constantly asked if we were satisfied, anything else? I'm not used to this kind of service. It's a real shame. The price of €50 was enough for the two of us, but... apparently not enough... How would we pay, cash or card? "Uzo will be brought in a time," the waiter asked again. I'm very disappointed. I go to Greece every year and I'm used to a different experience. It's a real shame... this is how you lose regular customers...

The food was okay, but two orders weren't delivered. One arrived after we pointed it out, but the other was forgotten. The waiter was unfriendly; after we mentioned something was missing, he said it wasn't his responsibility and we should tell the other waiter! Our drinks and food were practically thrown down. The noise level was also very high, in my opinion. But when it came time to pay, the waiter was in a good mood again. 😉

This is how I imagine eating at a Greek restaurant. Not just in terms of taste. It's been a long time since I've had a really good Greek meal. The owner, with his Greek humor and charm, was wonderful, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We had a tuna steak on recommendation. What can I say? It's perfect. Simply amazing. My daughter ordered another chicken soup because she enjoyed it so much. A must-try if you're in the area. Keep up the good work, boss, and best wishes from Erfurt. ^_^

The food was good overall, but some of the side dishes left something to be desired. The fries were unfortunately tasteless and soft. While the service was friendly, it seemed disorganized at times. Considering the quality offered, I found the price a bit too high. A personal visit can still be worthwhile—it's best to try it for yourself.

We came here for lunch on a Saturday and were immediately greeted warmly. The menu began with an ice-cold ouzo. The appetizer salad was particularly noteworthy; it was a pleasant surprise. My baked gyro was delicious, and my wife's chicken was also excellent. The espresso afterward was also impressive. Our service was very attentive and professional throughout our entire visit, and we even received another ouzo as a farewell. The value for money was perfect, and the interior is also very pleasant. We would definitely come back!

Gyros with rice (€16.50). The meat was very dry, and the rice in tomato sauce was very bland. Gyros baked in Metaxasuce (€19.50). Lots of rice, but not much meat. Tasted good.

Seit Jahren wird das Restaurant immer teurer, aber die Küche leider immer schlechter. Die Speisen sind kaum gewürzt und lieblos im Geschmack. Da ist man von anderen griech. Restaurants besseres gewohnt. Das Restaurant ist innen sehr, sehr dunkel durch dunkles Mobiliar und dunkle Wände.

Plenty of food, ok price. Unfortunately the food is not seasoned, the salad has no dressing, the meat is fried and dry. In other words, when it comes to the price, you don't get your money's worth. I would recommend more courage to season and add a dressing to a salad. Then you can dose your own dish. Then you can definitely come back.

I've eaten at Odysseus again for over ten years. If you're meeting for a girls' night out, the restaurant is still highly recommended.

The ambience is nice and the service is ok. Everything is friendly, but they try to sell you more expensive products. Example: GinTonic for €6.50 on the menu and €11 on the bill, because a question was asked about the gin without mentioning an additional charge. I don't know much about gin and thought it wouldn't matter which one for €6.50. So be very careful!!! Food was lukewarm to really cold in the middle. So unfortunately it didn't taste good. Unfortunately not a recommendation, although the atmosphere is very nice.

We ate here after a detour to Lake Markkleeberger. So we can only recommend this restaurant, very tasty food and sufficient portions plus the delicious Greek salad that will really fill you up. The staff is well staffed and very friendly, but it was observed that the staff repeatedly clashed and discussed loudly, which is not necessarily pleasant for the guests. We will definitely come back next time we visit the lake.

We were just a little hungry after a bike ride and decided to order 4 different starters. A salmon cream, tzatziki, puff pastry with feta and pickled grape leaves. None of it really tasted good. Bread was initially forgotten. Other guests got an ouzo on their bill, we didn't, although the final amount wouldn't have been different if we had eaten 2 main courses. The service was nice but inattentive. There were a lot of regulars there and the attention there was as it should have been everywhere. We wouldn't go there again.

We had to wait a long time until someone finally agreed to cash in on us. I would go again because of the really nice outdoor area.

Unfortunately, the first waiter was very brisk and impatient because I wanted to read the entire memory card first. The second waiter was very nice. It was a bit too dark for me too, but that's a matter of perspective. We won't be coming back, but good luck anyway.

The price/performance ratio in this restaurant is absolutely not right. The gyro pan as the main course is more like an appetizer in terms of quantity, and the Metaxa sauce is very tasteless. Tzatziki must be ordered separately with the Bifteki for a surcharge of 6 euros.

Atmosphere pleasant. You can also get along well with larger groups of people. You should make a reservation on the weekend.

To be honest, you wouldn't expect it from the outside... what's inside is a surprise... a really friendly welcome, a child-loving place... and absolutely delicious too! The ambience gives you the feeling of having traveled to Greece... the timing is right... all in all: I'd love to go back!

The ambience surprised me. It's been a long time since I've seen such a large guest room. Must have once been a dance hall with a stage. It is typically Greek in style, but not too cluttered. The waitresses were all friendly and people always asked questions. You didn't have to wait long for the food. I chose the lamb shank with rice noodles. Unfortunately the knuckle was still cold inside. Even the slice of cheese didn't melt properly. I also found it a bit unfortunate that there was no salad at this price; you could only order it separately and I didn't think the price for lettuce leaves and a slice of cucumber was reasonable (too expensive). Parking spaces are available nearby.

Food No. 85 is a fraud on the guest. Gyros in Metaxa sauce. A small pan half filled with rice and a mini portion of gyros. I've never experienced anything like that from a Greek. You pay a proud 19.90 for this. When I asked the first waiter about it, he ran away. The second waiter made a huge fuss about my criticism and felt insulted. The ambience is very dark, lots of people, mass processing. There really are better and friendlier Greek restaurants.
