He used to be one of the best Greeks in Markkleeberg, but has lost a lot of his skills. Even when ordering the table, people were very grumpy on the phone. Hardly a smiling face on site. My conclusion: I won't go there again

Well for me at best a 3 out of 5. Unfortunately, special requests were not taken into account. No problem, the service was nice, but then it's just not enough for a top spot. The food was also okay, an average good Greek

Had a spontaneous meal here. Unfortunately, everything in the beer garden was reserved, but we were allowed to choose a spot inside. The menu was great and the food tasted great too! The staff was very friendly and also catered to our 6 year old. Would come again to eat!

A really nice Greek restaurant! We spontaneously decided to stop by there on a Saturday lunchtime and were pleasantly surprised. The service was good, the employees friendly. The food was very tasty! We will definitely come back.

Everything fine. Went here for family dinner. After a brief downpour, we moved from outside to inside without any problems. Special requests for allergies are no problem. The food is great and the quality of the meat is second to none. There is a small children's playground outside. Very friendly service. We'd love to come back.

We ate here after a detour to Lake Markkleeberger. So we can only recommend this restaurant, very tasty food and sufficient portions plus the delicious Greek salad that will really fill you up. The staff is well staffed and very friendly, but it was observed that the staff repeatedly clashed and discussed loudly, which is not necessarily pleasant for the guests. We will definitely come back next time we visit the lake.

We were just a little hungry after a bike ride and decided to order 4 different starters. A salmon cream, tzatziki, puff pastry with feta and pickled grape leaves. None of it really tasted good. Bread was initially forgotten. Other guests got an ouzo on their bill, we didn't, although the final amount wouldn't have been different if we had eaten 2 main courses. The service was nice but inattentive. There were a lot of regulars there and the attention there was as it should have been everywhere. We wouldn't go there again.

It's very nice to sit outside. There is a small playground on site for children. The food was ok, but not outstanding. The service was understaffed and therefore overwhelmed, but did its best. We had to wait a long time until someone finally agreed to cash in on us. I would go again because of the really nice outdoor area.

I ate there once many years ago and it was very tasty. Unfortunately the gyro was fried so hard that I left it behind. The salad was very fresh and good. Unfortunately, the first waiter was very brisk and impatient because I wanted to read the entire memory card first. The second waiter was very nice. It was a bit too dark for me too, but that's a matter of perspective. We won't be coming back, but good luck anyway.

The price/performance ratio in this restaurant is absolutely not right. The gyro pan as the main course is more like an appetizer in terms of quantity, and the Metaxa sauce is very tasteless. Tzatziki must be ordered separately with the Bifteki for a surcharge of 6 euros.

Good Greek restaurant in Markkleeberg. I've been coming here frequently since it opened in the 90s. Consistent quality, typical Greek menu, portions reasonable. Staff friendly and quick. Atmosphere pleasant. You can also get along well with larger groups of people. You should make a reservation on the weekend.

To be honest, you wouldn't expect it from the outside... what's inside is a surprise... a really friendly welcome, a child-loving place... and absolutely delicious too! The ambience gives you the feeling of having traveled to Greece... the timing is right... all in all: I'd love to go back!

The ambience surprised me. It's been a long time since I've seen such a large guest room. Must have once been a dance hall with a stage. It is typically Greek in style, but not too cluttered. The waitresses were all friendly and people always asked questions. You didn't have to wait long for the food. I chose the lamb shank with rice noodles. Unfortunately the knuckle was still cold inside. Even the slice of cheese didn't melt properly. I also found it a bit unfortunate that there was no salad at this price; you could only order it separately and I didn't think the price for lettuce leaves and a slice of cucumber was reasonable (too expensive). Parking spaces are available nearby.

A pretty good Greek restaurant that takes advantage of the good location near the lake in terms of price. Some of the interior is visually quite overloaded and not exactly to everyone's taste.

Food No. 85 is a fraud on the guest. Gyros in Metaxa sauce. A small pan half filled with rice and a mini portion of gyros. I've never experienced anything like that from a Greek. You pay a proud 19.90 for this. When I asked the first waiter about it, he ran away. The second waiter made a huge fuss about my criticism and felt insulted. The ambience is very dark, lots of people, mass processing. There really are better and friendlier Greek restaurants.

Yesterday we spontaneously decided to eat here very late after a trip. Our group of 15 people were warmly welcomed and fed. Unfortunately, we arrived a little after the kitchen closed, but that wasn't a problem for the staff. The ambience is incredibly beautiful and the food was very good. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. We will be back definitely. Thanks to the team. 🙏

We were there for lunch today and loved it. The cheese croquettes and garlic bread were great. Also our baked chicken in Metaxa sauce. The service was very friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The location is very nice. The large hall is extremely impressive and authentically furnished. The small area we sat in was very comfortable. We can only recommend this restaurant.

Our stay was a very nice experience. We would be happy to come back. But a little modernization wouldn't be bad. Except the wine corner, which is very romantic.

We wanted to try this restaurant based on a friend's recommendation. Unfortunately we were very disappointed. We ordered gyros in Metaxa sauce. The sauce tasted nothing like Metaxa, but more like cream than anything else. The rice was in the sauce and was completely overcooked. The meat was dry and partly burnt. I can't understand these reviews here...I wouldn't recommend it to anyone and I won't go there myself either.

Haben einen Tisch für 2 reserviert... leider wurde unserer Tisch direkt in ein Eck neben einer sehr lauten und euphorischen Geburtstaggesellschaft gestellt. Meine Begleitung und ich konnten daher auch schlecht kommunizieren... daher 1 Stern Abzug. Ansonsten gab es nichts auszusetzen, sehr höffliches und schnelles Personal... das Essen echt lecker und der Preis dementsprechend angepasst. Für Vorspeise, Hauptgang und Getränke kommen incl. Trinkgeld 70 Euro zusammen. Werden bestimmt dort nochmal einkehren, hoffen nur das wir nicht wieder in so ein Eck gefercht werden.

Also wir kommen immer wieder gerne zu unseren lieblings Griechen. Service und Ambiente sind typisch griechisch locker freundlich und immer gut gelaunt auch in Stress Situationen. Das Essen ist nach wie vor sehr gut und auch super lecker bleibt so. Preis und Leistung stimmen. Wir kommen auch weiterhin. Waren heute wieder zum Jahresabschluss bei unserem lieblings Griechen und es war wieder mal sehr schön. Wir werden auch im nächsten Jahr euch die Treue halten. 👍👍👍

Mein Lieblingsgrieche! Immer freundlich und ein Lächeln auf den Lippen. Essen ist super lecker.

Das Essen war sehr sehr lecker und die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich uns zuvorkommend.

Ich war mit einer größeren Gruppe dort essen. Bedienung war sehr freundlich und alles kam sehr schnell obwohl das Restaurant an diesem Abend gut besucht war. Mein bestellter Schafskäse war sehr lecker. Das Rumpsteak was ich bestellt habe sollte Medium sein, es war aber je weiter ich in die Mitte geschnitten habe noch roh. Die Mitte war komplett matschig. Eine weitere Person am Tisch hat Fisch bestellt der auch in der Mitte noch roh war. Sehr schade, gerade für diesen Preis. Das Ambiente von innen war schön. Alle Gerichte sehr Knoblauch lastig, wer das mag ist hier gut aufgehoben. Es gibt auch einen Parkplatz, der hat leider keine Beschilderung und im Dunkeln ist dieser auch nicht beleuchtet. Als Alternative dazu gibt es den kostenpflichtigen Parkplatz des Sees oder man parkt in einer der vielen Nebenstraßen.

Es hat sich hier in den letzten Jahren viel getan. Vom doch eher rustikaler Ambiente zu mehr Moderne. Gott sei Dank lief auch keine typisches "Griechengedudel" sondern "normale" Musik. Zumindest heute, ob immer weiß ich nicht. Deutlich hervorzuheben ist aber die freundliche und aufmerksame Bedienung. Alles lief reibungslos. Vor allem aber das wirklich leckere Essen. Auf dem Punkt und für jeden was dabei. Das macht es aus. Bis zum nächsten mal. Danke.

Waren spontan dort und haben gleich einen Tisch bekommen. Essen war lecker und kam sehr schnell. Personal war sehr freundlich. Einrichtung ist etwas alt und dunkel aber das ist ja Geschmackssache. Ansonsten hat es uns gut gefallen 😊

Das Beste und leckerste griechische Restaurant im Süden von Leipzig. Sehr zu empfehlen. Unbedingt mit Reservierung🏆💗 Mitnahme der Speisen auch ohne Probleme.

Das Ambiente ist wirklich der Hammer. Selten so ein riesiges, aber absolut würdevoll eingerichtetes Restaurant gesehen. Essen war wahnsinnig schnell auf dem Tisch. Portionen hätten teilweise größer sein können. Allen Naschkatzen möchte ich den Odysseus-Spezialbecher empfehlen, der mit wirklich vielen frischen Früchten um die Ecke kommt und sehr lecker war. Hinreichend kostenlose Parkplätze sind vorhanden.

Freundliches Personal und leckeres Essen.

Mega leckeres Essen, total nettes Personal. Waren das erste Mal hier aber definitiv nicht das letzte Mal

Rinderfilet bestellt. Leider nicht mehr da. Zum Samstagabend 18 Uhr. Alternativ wurde mir Kalbsfilet mit Spaghetti angeboten. Bekommen habe ich gekochtes Kalbsfleisch mit Reisnudeln. Trotz Reklamation keine Reaktion. Beim abräumen wurde ich dann gefragt warum ich nichts gegessen habe. Da bin ich explodiert. Absolute Frechheit. Getränkebestellungen waren auch eine Katastrophe. Halbe Stunde auf Getränke gewartet und Bestellungen waren unvollständig. Alles in allen nicht zu empfehlen. An anderen Tische die selbe Problematik. Die 5 Sterne Bewertungen kann ich nicht nachvollziehen.

Es war ein sehr schönes Ambiente+Bedienung und das Essen war auch sehr gut. Ich würde den Laden immer weiter empfehlen

Wir hatten als Vorspeise , Oktopus auf Ruccola, griechichen Salat und Knoblauch rot . Schon diese drei Gerichte waren eine Frechheit . Dass man Knoblauchbrot so ekelhaft hinbekommt , ist fast eine Leistung. Wabbeliges Brot, auf einer Seite mit einer leicht orangefarbenen Creme bestrichen , igitt . Der Oktobus total trocken auf ein paar Blättern Ruccola und der griechische Salat ohne Gewürze , eiskalt und mini. Ich hatte als Hauptgang geschmorte Lammkeule ( war das einzige was in etwas genießbar war ) mit völlig geschmacklosen und zur Pampe verkochten Bohnen . Mein Mann hatte Bifteki halbkalt ohne weitere Beilagen und absolut lieblos aussehend . Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis ist absolut nicht gegeben und die Preise eine Frechheit . Wir gehen sehr oft in Leipzig zu einem wirklich sehr guten Griechen in die Möckerne Straße essen , weshalb wir das vergleichen können . Hier haben wir für grottenschlechtes Essen , ohne eine gute Flasche Wein mehr bezahlt. Wir werden dort ganz sicher nie wieder zu Gast sein und haben noch nie schlechter griechisch gegessen als in dem Odyssee.

Wir gehen immer mit der Familie oder wenn Freunde zu Besuch sind hin. Wir sind total begeistert. Super freundliches Personal sehr kinderfreundlich, im Garten gibt's einen kleinen Spielplatz. Das Essen ist toll. Gehen auf wünsche ein. Preisleistung stimmt auch. Unser Lieblings Grieche.

Ganz ehrlich: Ich bin ja ein bißchen verwöhnt von meinem Griechen in Germering; aber wie mega die Kollegen das Lammkarree und das saftige Gjiros kredenzt haben / Hammer - und beside noch Mega Wein haben; hat seinen Preis, aber absolut den Preis wert! …und Personal sehr, sehr nett und netter Austausch über Urlaubserfahrungen! 🍻

Super freundlicher, aufmerksamer Service, schnelle Bedienung, sehr leckeres Essen mit viel Auswahl, auf Wunsch auch Abänderung der Gerichte oder Zusammenstellung veganer Speisen. Rinder- Tomahawk Steak vom Grill absolut fabelhaft.

Bratkartoffeln aus der friteuse ,giros kommplet versalzen ,salat mit völlig ungeniesbarem billig essig angemacht ...allerdings stolze preise .....das war der erste und letzte besuch

Vorspeisen die dann zum Hauptgang gereicht werden, nachdem man nachfragt! Odysee-Teller trocken und Fleisch viel zu durch, dadurch noch trockener… Besteck scheint auch Mangelware, oder man legt es sich nach der Vorspeise separat hin! Kindernudeln kalt !!! Kurz und knapp: EINMAL UND NIE WIEDER !!!

Volles Haus, schönes Ambiente, freundliche Bedienung, kurze Wartezeiten. Sehr gutes Essen, große Portionen. Hat mir super gefallen.
