Restaurant Nordlicht in Graal-Müritz

We visited the "Nordlicht" restaurant on October 3rd. We had three employees in total, and they were all super friendly and especially fond of animals. Our two dachshunds felt right at home. For the 3rd Oktoberfest, there was a Bavarian menu in addition to the regular menu, which expanded the selection. If you like meat and fish, this is a great place to eat. My schnitzel was delicious, as was my wife's fish. However, for vegetarians, the selection is very limited. The food we ordered was delivered very quickly and, as already mentioned, was very tasty. The "Uhlegeist" is also highly recommended. Good stuff. The visit was worthwhile, and we'd love to come back sometime.

Point number 1: The staff was amazing. I unfortunately had acute back pain, and they did everything they could to make me feel better. Very friendly staff and delicious food

We first visited you three years ago and were absolutely thrilled. We hoped to return and were even more thrilled that the fantastic kitchen and service team had not only maintained the quality but had even improved it. The reception without a reservation was extremely friendly, the service attentive, prompt, and always with a natural smile (not always easy when the team has already had a season by the beginning of September). We ate there three times – the price/performance ratio was absolutely excellent, everything was perfect and freshly prepared. The spaghetti with shrimp was simply delicious. The small side salad was not your run-of-the-mill cucumber, corn, and the like, but a leaf salad with a delicate dressing and croutons. A heartfelt compliment and thank you to the kitchen. We had delicious cocktails to go at sunset. The conclusion of the ultimate praise: an absolutely wonderfully run-of-the-mill restaurant with lots of love/passion and creativity, always offering guests variety. We look forward to our next visit.

If there were 10 stars, I would give it 10. A truly great restaurant, super delicious food, friendly staff, and you can feel the passion of the employees. A very family-friendly atmosphere, even among the staff. Any concerns about a "campsite restaurant" are completely misplaced. The food is consistently delicious, with generous portions. Currently offering the "plum crumble" – you absolutely have to add that to your menu. Awesome. Also available with cherries. Even as a local, I come here every week just for that. 🤭 Thank you for these wonderful days with you. 😇

This could be better! The herring salad tasted okay, but a warm plate? The fries with the dishes were cold. I'd asked for fried potatoes, but they were probably already gone. The pan-fried fish, 3 small pieces of frozen pollock, and the mustard sauce—I'd rather not comment on it. Schnitzel from the deep fryer, spaghetti drenched in oil and already a few days old. In conclusion, from chef to chef, the prices of the dishes and the cost of goods (calculation factor around 7) could be better.

Very fast and friendly service. Food and drinks arrived very quickly. The food was truly delicious. Highly recommended. We will be back.☺️

If you have a gluten intolerance you should go somewhere else to eat as unfortunately this is not taken into account the food was very good therefore we give it 4 stars but what was not so nice is that you get the starter with the main course because there was a communication error and the receipt was only received after paying after the second request unfortunately not so nice for us

Extremely unfriendly staff (at least the older woman) who, despite all the free tables being available, wanted to seat us next to a complete stranger. The stranger also looked completely horrified by the waitress's suggestion. We ultimately had to leave the restaurant due to the waitress's rude manner. You'd be better off going to the snack bar across the street. The people are always friendly and cheerful. *Addendum July 23, 2025 Very competent introduction by Mr. Behrens... We specifically asked if the tables were reserved. The lady even said no, only one was reserved. She just wanted to keep the other tables for families "in case" they might come. There were also two other guests (mind you, only one person at each table) who could hear us talking and also looked very horrified. As an annual customer for 30 years, I find your reaction and that of the waitress very sad.

Food delicious, good value for money... But closed for two days in high season, a pity really

A cozy restaurant. The food is nothing special, not very seasoned, and you have to wait a long time for it. The service isn't attentive, but it's friendly.

While visiting the square, we spontaneously passed by the restaurant and stopped in. We really liked it. The staff was friendly. The selection of food, drinks, and extras was very varied. We all enjoyed our meal! The service and prices were reasonable. Thank you very much, we'll be back.

This is our fourth year at the campsite in Graal-Müritz. Unfortunately, we get the impression that the quality and service are declining. Unfortunately, we weren't given any information about gluten-free dishes. The currywurst was recommended. It was probably the easiest to go with. It was as far removed from a currywurst as the Earth is from the moon – it had pieces of pepper in the sauce... and the severe stomach pain, probably because they probably used wheat flour gluten, wasn't long in coming. The prices in the "restaurant" with its snack-like character are now also unreasonable in our opinion. €22 for a schnitzel, poorly presented (no salad, no other vegetables, or anything green), €6 for a beer... at the campsite!!!!!!! The service was otherwise friendly, but inattentive. We had to make ourselves known several times and were forgotten even then, so we had to ask again to order more drinks. Conclusion: Unfortunately, it's no longer an option for us.

I was at Nordlicht today and I'm absolutely thrilled! The service was super friendly and attentive from the start, and the food was simply fantastic. I had a schnitzel with fried potatoes and a mushroom cream sauce – perfectly cooked, wonderfully seasoned. For starters, I had Camembert with baguette, salad, and cranberries – a dream! The portions were huge, but so delicious that there weren't any leftovers. An all-around successful visit – I'll definitely be back! 👏🍽️ .

After being completely thrilled with this restaurant last year, we decided to visit again. Please refrain from visiting; this year's was not just a disappointment, it was a disaster. Selling customers canned food for "normal" restaurant prices is outrageous.

I've rarely visited such a good restaurant. The food, the ambiance, the service, the restrooms—everything was perfect! Hot plates, modern tableware, delicious drinks, friendly servers, and an excellent chef. Keep it up! We'll be back.

We've experienced a lot there over the years...currently really great. Super courteous staff. Food has also improved a lot. TOP and big praise

The portions were way too expensive for the price and unfortunately the food wasn't hot. The drinks are also way too expensive, I had to pay 3.90 euros for a small Alster and since when do you have to pack the food yourself that you can't manage and want to take with you. I still received the packaging from the waitress. So we will not recommend you.

The waitresses were all super friendly. I really enjoyed the steak au four.

Very nice restaurant for a campsite, we were there for dinner and had to wait 15 minutes until the staff took our order [it wasn't busy yet] drinks came after about 10 minutes, our schnitzel with seasoned meat went quickly, unfortunately the schnitzel was unseasoned and beaten to death, the seasoned meat was overcooked and the fries would have needed at least 5 minutes, mayonnaise on the table was empty, Worcester sauce wasn't even served, sorry for that Almost 23 euros you can expect more

Wild week is the absolute high light. Even those who don't like being wild will find something. The wild brawn and the wild sausages are particularly recommended, but the apple-cinnamon rings are also great. The waitresses were again very nice and accommodating. All in all, definitely worth a visit.

We went to the Northern Lights for dinner today. It was just great. The restaurant was very well attended, couples with dogs, families with children and “Kegel”, a diverse crowd. Very nice, courteous and quick staff. Super!!! It's no longer available everywhere today! Our order was taken competently and quickly, and “all” of our special requests were taken into account. The drinks were perfectly tempered and served with a smile. When it came to food, we asked about today's recommendations and were again given comprehensive and very nice advice. The portions were absolutely generous, everything was very fresh, beautifully prepared, simply delicious!!!!! Big praise, at this point, to the kitchen team. Unfortunately, today everything is always based on price and hardly anyone looks left or right. At Nordlicht the hospitality, the service, the food, the drinks, the ambience and the fantastic location of the restaurant are perfect. And!!! the prices are absolute!!!! fair and okay. Here you can tell that the operators/owners enjoy doing their job!

We were very disappointed. Wanted the happy hour offer (a free soft drink or beer with every main course). Then when we paid it turned out that our "large" drinks were not included, but only the small drinks. This wasn't mentioned anywhere and the waitress didn't mention it at all. After intensive discussions with the staff, we got our money back. The food tasted average, the "large salad plate" was a small plate full of mainly lettuce leaves, a few snippets of pepper and some tomatoes. Taste bland. You can do this better in the camping kitchen. The waiting time for the food was also quite long. We were two families, we got our food while our friends only got their food when we were already finished. Some of them were even the same dishes. We definitely won't be coming back again.

Very nice service and the cod with the homemade sauce was really a dream. I'll definitely eat there again when I'm here again.

It's okay, depending on what you expect. It has a bit of a swimming pool feeling so everything could be made a little nicer. The food is average. You can do it, depending on the situation, grilling on the beach is much nicer.

We were satisfied with the price performance and service. The portion size was ok and the price was justified. The food is freshly cooked and the service is always quick. I don't know why some people are upset about the price, we're out from Leipzig found it ok.

Overall, a nice restaurant - not far from the beach at the campsite. You can sit outside here nicely. The service was very friendly. In my opinion, the prices are too expensive in relation to the portions. I find 15 euros for a tarte flambée the size of a frozen pizza and 5.40 euros for a large pilsner to be too expensive. With a schnitzel for 23 euros you get five mini croquettes as a side dish. The size of the portion of fries as a side dish was okay. Unfortunately you don't get a small side salad. A few watermelon slices in advance. I found that original.

Very tasty, beautifully prepared food for a campsite restaurant very good. Great service, very child-friendly with a playground and a nice, cozy atmosphere. Food came very quickly. Small negative point, portion was a bit small (fish with fried potatoes in a very hot honey mustard sauce). Prices were okay.

The food is great but the menu is rather poor and the prices are stated in marks on the menu but then when you see the bill you are confused because you have to pay more - rather confusing.

Like every year, this time we visited the Nordlicht restaurant on our camping holiday. The food is really delicious!!!...nice/pretty served and the portion size is also right. :) Unfortunately, a few things didn't quite work in terms of service... it's probably due to understaffing 🤷🏻‍♀️... still a shame for the guest. However, I have to say that I had a very friendly conversation afterwards and that a good solution was found for everything that wasn't going quite right. We'll be back next year. 😊

Everything OK. Sufficient and good selection for a campsite restaurant. Food was on the table almost immediately. Unfortunately the portions are very small for the price. The quantity was not enough for me or my wife.

Schnitzel was good, fried potatoes unfortunately tasted like the pre-packaged ones ready to be fried, Pann fish was drowned in mustard sauce. There was a collection of various dead insects in our beer mug with cutlery, which should definitely be checked beforehand. Overall, we expected more from the restaurant, it's a shame about the amount of money.

Excellent. There is no other way to put it. The food so delicious. Friendly staff, great atmosphere. We'll definitely come back again because there's still a lot I'd like to try. Dogs are welcome.

We were guests in the Northern Lights again. When we are in Graal Müritz, a visit to the Northern Lights is part of the standard program. This time we had the herring, the Bismarck herring, Schnitzel Milano, the fish soup (a stunner) and an asparagus cream soup. A big compliment goes to the great staff. Always friendly and really quick! Panfish or cod are also recommended. And finally, praise for the clean kitchen. You can see into the entire kitchen from the outside. We'll be back in the summer and then we'll get the 5 star. 😉

A very nice restaurant with very nice employees, friendly, helpful and helpful. We were guests today with our friends and felt very comfortable. We were served quickly and well and we kept asking if there was anything else. The staff was very friendly and we were also very happy with the food. Unfortunately I found the prices a bit too high.

Highly recommended for private parties! We were guests at a great party for a friend's 50th birthday. Nothing was missing, delicious food, brilliant service (attentive, friendly, eye-catching) and great decoration to match the occasion. Even a photo box and guest album were organized. The only minimal negative point in the ambience: the lighting could have been a little less bright for dancing after dinner (bar area), that would have been even more comfortable. All in all, a great place to celebrate and the owner couple and their team in the kitchen and service have put a lot of effort into it - great and thank you.

Es war wie immer ein super leckeres Essen und der Service einfach Super 👍 es ist immer wieder schön zu sehen,das auch Hunde gern gesessen werden. Es war ein Genuß und wir kommen gerne wieder.

Das Restaurant ist sehr schön eingerichtet. Die Bedienung sehr freundlich. Wir sind beide nicht verwöhnt,was Essen betrifft, aber hier stimmt das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis absolut nicht. Schnitzel, dünn wie eine Schuhsohle mit Pommes und einer hausgemachten Soße, die nicht anders schmeckte,wie die Schaschlicksoße von Knorr. Das ganze für knapp €22. Hamburger Pfanne. Der Fisch war trocken, knapp € 18.Haben wir auch der Bedienung mitgeteilt. Summa summarum 50€ für 2 Getränke, 2 Essen, die noch nicht einmmal die Hälfte des Geldes wert sind. Absolut nicht empehlenswert, in meinen Augen. Die 2 Sterne auch nur wegen der Ambiente und der Service

Bei uns war der Wurm drin… Vorweg… Bestes Restaurant auf einen Campingplatz es hat relativ gut geschmeckt, für uns Männer war die Portion zu klein. Wer keine kleinen Schnitzel mag, die Leber ist sehr lecker dort. ….so…. Bekommen sollte Schnitzel nach Guido‘s art, mit Speck. Den habe ich leider nicht gefunden. War vielleicht zu klein, oder er wurde einfach vergessen. Siehe Foto. Meine Begleitung links neben mir hatte keine Zitrone und auch kein sichtbaren Speck, nicht so tragisch, wird aber noch besser …. Zu meiner Rechten hatte mein Sohn kein mischgemüse bekoemmen, er hat sich gefreut drüber… ich mich nicht so. Gegenüber gab es Pommes ohne Salz, oder jegliche Art von Gewürz drauf. (Ging allen 4 Gerichten so. Pommes waren nicht gewürzt) Ließ sich alles regeln, dank der netten Kellnerin, aber das Beste war, dass wir kein Besteck bekommen haben. Ich hätte es mir beinah selber gebracht, wie ich es auch schon beim Ketchup machen mussten. Nummer eine Person, die die Leber bestellt hatte, war wirklich voll und ganz zufrieden.

Wir waren als neue Dauercamper das erste mal dort essen und ich kann nur sagen, echt super lecker. Wir hatten Dorsch und Heringsfilets, es war reichhaltig (was nicht heißt das es kleiner werden soll :)) und eben sehr lecker, Personal super freundlich, trotz voller Hütte!! Preislich im heutigen Rahmen, für die Qualität angemessen! 5 Sterne verdient, wir kommen öfter....dicke Empfehlung! Wer so gutes Essen abliefert, soll auch erfolgreich sein!!

Leckeres Essen und ein super Servicepersonal.

Hamburger pannfisch mit Dijon Senf Soße war aller erste Sahne :) super nette Bedienung und sehr entspannte Atmosphäre. Ein weiterer Besuch ist vorgemerkt ;)

Sind hier auch mit 6 Kindern super nett empfangen worden. Service war super und hat auch die Kinder mit coolen Sprüchen und Ausmalbildern abgeholt. Essen war top und frisch. Super Preis Leistung Verhältnis. Wie es vorher war können wir nicht bewerten, es war unser erster Besuch und definitiv nicht der letzte!

Wir waren gestern im Restaurant Nordlicht essen und waren begeistert. Sehr leckere Gerichte und ein sehr freundliches Personal. Großes Lob an das Team und den Koch. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Weiter so.

Tolle Entdeckung am letzten Urlaubstag! Wir haben am Rande des Campingplatzes im „vorbeigehen“ das Restaurant „Nordlicht“ entdeckt. Das Restaurant ist hell und typisch maritim gemütlich eingerichtet. Und dann wurden wir wirklich positiv überrascht von diesem tollen Essen. Jeder Teller wurde mit frisch zubereitetem Essen detailverliebt angerichtet und war richtig schmackhaft. Nach einem netten „Gruß aus der Küche (Bruschetta)“, hatten wir eine vorzügliche Fisch- u. eine Tomatensuppe als Vorspeise. Als Hauptgang gab es super drapiertes Matjesfilet mit Marinade auf Apfelscheiben und Salat mit Bratkartoffeln. Für unsere Tochter ein vegetarisches Gericht mit schön angerichteten überbackenem Camembert mit Preiselbeeren, Salat und Baguette. Dieses Restaurant kann locker mit jedem guten Restaurant in der „Stadt“ mithalten. Das war mit Abstand das beste Essen was wir jemals auf einem Campingplatz gegessen haben! Vielen Dank auch an die Küche u.das jederzeit freundliche Servicepersonal! Wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt und sind satt und zufrieden wieder gegangen. Wir sehen uns garantiert wieder.

Also, es ist mir ein Bedürfnis dieses einzigartige Restaurant zu erwähnen. Man befindet sich in mitten eines Campingplatzes und vermutet nicht dieses Kulinarische Hightlite. Ambiente ,Speisekarte,Einrichtung ...echt Ostseeflair . Das Essen ist reichlich ,sehr schmackhaft und dekorativ. Dazu passt das überaus freundliche Personal . Ein freundliches Lächecheln beim Kommen und gehen . Kleine Probleme werden mit Freundlichkeit kaschiert . Professionell und freundlich . Mein Eindruck ; Kommen und genießen Strand Sonne Meer ....Und dann ...DAS

Seit neuem Betreiber ein sehr schönes Restaurant. Das Essen war lecker und frisch. Keine langen Wartezeiten und super nettes Personal. Ebenfalls leckere vegetarische Alternativen. Schön und gemütlich eingerichtet, Toiletten ebenfalls sauber.

Das Essen ist sehr lecker , die Bedienung sehr freundlich , Hunde sind immer willkommen.Das Restaurant ist sehr zu empfehlen 👍
