Hallo, das NintyNine hat uns grundsätzlich gut gefallen. Das Ambiente ist toll. Auch der Service war um den Gast sehr bemüht. Die Karte trifft von Vorspeise über Hauptseite bis Nachspeise eigentlich jeden Gaumen. Bei dem Wein mussten wir leicht überteuerte Preise feststellen, daher einen Punktabzug. Wiederum hat das Menü mit ca. 50 euro ein gutes Preisleistungsverhältnis, dies haben wir auch gewählt und sind sehr gut gesättigt nach Hause gefahren.

The food was delicious !! However, in contrast to inside, the atmosphere outside is very uncomfortable - the only advantage is the fresh air. We had booked a table at 7:15 p.m., but were there 2 minutes after 7 p.m. and were ignored for 9 minutes, even though the service was outside several times. When we asked why we didn't at least get the ticket, the answer was that our reservation wasn't until 7:15 p.m. We then had to wait 1.5 hours for the main course, the pasta with truffles came incomplete without a parmesan chip, the promised wine list only came, bread for the starter after eating, extra crispy fried potatoes didn't come, and were then brought 15 minutes after the end of our meal also grated Parmesan. When we asked service, the answer was that it was the kitchen's fault. Weak !! Bottom line: price/performance is not right, therefore not recommended!! It's a shame for the annoying evening that was supposed to be something special there

Very nice location and ok food but extremely poor and incredibly slow service. For this reason, absolutely not recommended. 1.5 hour waiting time for the main course with only 12 occupied tables, several times forgetting to bring the menu, forgetting ingredients for the dishes, several times forgetting to hand in food or ingredients that were forgotten.

The Ninety-Nine really impressed us with its excellent lukewarm quality. We also noticed the clear but quite high-quality selection of wines on offer. In addition to the special ambience of the rooms, we found the staff to be pleasantly communicative and quite motivated.

Wir waren rundum zufrieden mit dem Essen und dem Service. Man merkt hier, dass das Personal weiß was es tut. Leider schon so oft anders erlebt. Man fühlt sich beachtet und geschätzt! Danke dafür!❤️ Der Innenraum ist ein Traum, aber bei gutem Wetter saß man natürlich draussen. Ich fand es dort erwas karg im Gegensatz zum Innenraum und hätte es mir dort etwas schöner erhofft. Alles in allem aber sehr zu empfehlen.

There were four of us at ninetey nine, we spent a very nice evening with delicious food and good drinks in a great ambience. The restaurant is certainly more expensive, but definitely worth the money. We will happily come back to enjoy the entire package 👍

Very well designed restaurant with small but very excellent dishes

Very stylish restaurant, food good, but overpriced and unimaginative. I had the Wiener Schnitzel, unfortunately the breading wasn't soft and fluffy as it should normally be...I would probably attribute it to frozen.

We had a perfect afternoon at 99 for a birthday party, which we held privately outside of opening hours. The food was excellent and all guests were enthusiastic. All requests were taken into account in advance and the service was also very attentive and friendly. The drinks were also very attractively presented. All in all, a perfect birthday in a very special location in Mönchengladbach. Thanks again!

Ninety nine is always a highlight...excellent cuisine and high-quality food. The staff is very friendly and attentive and the atmosphere feels like a little vacation. The terrace will soon be open again with a view of the colorful garden and the fountain 💚

Ein wieder rundum gelungener und schöner Abend mit gutem Essen und bei schönem Ambiente. Einzig allein ein technisches Problem im Hintergrund für einen Stern Abzug. Zwischen Vorspeise und Hauptgang eine Wartezeit von rund 1 Stunde, vielem Blickkontakt zum Personal, wurde nicht klar, dass man schon länger wartete und erst nach Nachfrage dann ersichtlich, dass ein technisches Problem für die lange Wartezeit sorgte. Jedoch wurde sich sofort entschuldigt und 2 Getränke gingen aufs Haus. Der nächste Abend wird natürlich demnächst wieder gebucht.

We had booked an appointment. Half an hour later we were offered a table that we hadn't booked. No drink menu received. You could only choose a menu from 2 starters, mains and desserts or order them individually. The main course, monkfish, was totally over salted. The vegetables, difficult to recognize as such, are served in a mushy roux. The dessert was just as disappointing. A frozen cream puff of the worst kind. It's been a long time since I've had such a bad meal for so much money. The menu for 55 euros. The staff, apart from the arrogant boss, were all very nice. We heard from our table neighbors about a piece of plastic in the starter bread.

I usually give this restaurant 5 stars. I have been a customer since it opened, celebrated three birthdays and often ate here more than a handful of times on normal days. What I noticed about this restaurant is that it loses consistency and quality of its cuisine when events are held and the restaurant is fully booked. Last year I was not satisfied (although I still gave 5 stars), there were also events, the food was served 1.5 hours later and the quality of the food was not as good as usual, same as this time. I can no longer pretend to be satisfied and give 5 stars. I had previously asked for a good table because I was celebrating a birthday and she gave me the worst table. I asked for a small birthday cake or just decorated birthday brownies and got a very simple chocolate mousse that you get in any bakery. We were moved to another table but the food was served after 1.5 hours of waiting on an unclean and undecorated table. During events they don't offer specialties a la carte, just one menu for everyone, mediocre quality of food and service and more expensive. Really sad. I don't think I will celebrate my birthday here again. Last year I was disappointed and this year I gave it a second chance and the same thing happened. On normal days and when everything is not fully booked, they have good food here. When they are fully booked and have events, I can say they lose consistency in terms of cuisine and service. Too bad. I am writing this review in the hope that this restaurant can maintain its quality standards and service regardless of whether it is fully booked or hosting events. This restaurant has great potential for success, also due to its location and its customers who do not give up easily after a disappointing dining experienced

Spontaneously redeemed a voucher today and enjoyed a very nice evening with very good food, fine drinks and warm service! Small deductions in the B grade for the dessert, although the criticism expressed was gratefully accepted and "compensated" with a digestif on the house, which would not have been necessary for us! What made the evening special was the really good service from the friendly waiter, who you could tell really cared about the well-being of the guests! Thank you for that!

You should think twice before visiting this location. Unfortunately, the employees are not compensated for their hard work. Something like that is simply not appropriate and casts a bad image on the city of Mönchengladbach and the Kaiser-Friedrich-Halle!!

Leider war dass Essen nicht so, wie ich es aus früheren Sonntagszeiten kannte. Der Preis war höher, dafür die Frühstücksauswahl geringer. Es gab z.B. „nur“ Rührei, leider kein gekochtes Ei. Dann gab es sonst eine Auswahl mit Tomaten/Gurken/mMozarella. Solche Sachen fehlten komplett. Es war kein schlechtes Essen, aber leider nicht so, wie ich es in Erinnerung hatte und gerne wieder genossen hätte, tut mir leid.

Esse is top. There is enough choice and the menu with starter, main course and dessert is very well priced. The ambience and service are also very good. We felt very comfortable and will come back again.

We had a bad experience today. At first there isn't much going on, about 3-4 tables, the meal takes a long time, in my opinion 30 minutes, but mother-in-law said 45 minutes until it gets there. We asked the lady with the white blouse (probably the boss) that she said She said check when the meal was booked, after that she didn't come back. Before that I also said the waiter. One of the waitresses, probably a trainee because she is very young, chews gum while serving, but that's not the case. At such prices we would have expected something better. Some places even offer coffee or espresso on the house as an apology. One star is already too many. The food was mediocre. But at least our daughter's schnitzel was good. But still not recommended.

Leider hat an dem Abend der Service schlecht funktioniert. Wir haben 70(!) Minuten auf unser Essen gewartet, was in Anbetracht der Tatsache, dass wir Karten für eine Veranstaltung in der KFH hatten, sehr ärgerlich war. Das Essen war gut und die Atmosphäre ist schön.

It takes forever until someone comes to serve us. We also have to wait a long time for the food. Waitress chews gum (probably trainee or something) while serving, that's not possible. At least the food was tasty. But we will not come again and recommend it.

Das Ninety Nine ist ein sehr schönes, modernes und gemütliches Lokal. Hier erhält man exklusive Speise , die man noch lange nicht überall bekommt. Leider war bei unserem Besuch die Wartezeit sehr lange (Personalmangel). Das Service-Team war aber sehr bemüht und durchweg freundlich und transparent. Alles in allem ein sehr schöner Abend. For starters we had the duck breast, which unfortunately we weren't thrilled with (if you prefer your meat well done, don't bother with it order, because here it comes pink otherwise it would be too tough) and the mussels (these were very juicy and very tasty, the side dish unfortunately ruined this delicious taste). For the main course we had the tagliatelle with truffles (lots of parmesan, could have used more spices and more sauce as well as less salt, although I generally add little to no salt to my food) and the lamb shank (which was super juicy and tender and the side dishes were also very tasty ). But we were really enthusiastic about the desserts (crème brûlée and chocolate soufflé), the soup that came as “greetings from the kitchen” and the staff, who were in a great mood and humorous. The restaurant is super chic, quiet and you feel warmly welcome and comfortable right from the start.

Ich war schon öfter hier und es ist einfach ein tolles Restaurant. Tolles Ambiente, netter Service und leckeres Essen. Leider war das Essen diesmal nicht so eine Geschmacksexplosion wie sonst aber auch sehr frisch und sehr lecker. Wir wurden wie immer sehr nett bedient und unsere Wünsche wurden umgesetzt. Wir durften über den Öffnungszeiten hinaus noch sitzen bleiben und man hat sich willkommen gefühlt. Sonst wird man in anderen Restaurants nett raus gebeten. Insgesamt war alles top. Danke

Leider verging zwischen der Vorspeise und dem Hauptgericht mehr als eine Stunde . Die Vorspeise war in Ordnung, allerdings nichts besonderes. Das Hauptgericht gerade mal lauwarm und die Käseplatte am Ende sah aus, als wäre das was übrig war , auf den Teller gekommen. Da es Valentin war, gab es auch nur 2 Menüs zur Auswahl . Eigentlich alles gut vorzubereiten und dennoch enorme Wartezeiten. Leider alles in Allem sehr enttäuschend.

We were here for the first time today and the food was very tasty, the portion was large and the fillet was very tender. The service was excellent and very attentive. We'd love to come back.

We decided on a menu-style dinner for two people, which consisted of two different starters (one duck breast and one tuna), two different main courses (one shrimp on saffron risotto and one ribeye steak with smoked fries with truffle mayo) and the same dessert ( twice layered apple crumble). When asked about the degree of doneness of the steak, I replied in the affirmative and asked if it was medium rare. The meal opened with an amuse gueule, which consisted of pumpkin soup with a crouton and a small salad garnish. Some bread and a pepper aioli were served with it. The soup and the aioli were strongly seasoned and both had a pleasantly spicy aroma. The aperitif (one Martini Tonic and one house recommendation) was served to match the Amuse-Gueule. At this point the restaurant was not very busy, so only seven tables were occupied. This didn't change over the course of the evening, so only tables became free The starter arrived at the table after about 30 minutes and tasted good. Here, too, it was heavily seasoned, so that the inherent taste of the duck and tuna was unfortunately somewhat lost. The appropriate wine accompaniment arrived just before the appetizer. The main course took a little longer to arrive. The wine accompaniment arrived again shortly before the main course, which was served after a good 40 minutes. The saffron risotto tasted good, although the spices overshadowed the taste. Unfortunately the ribeye steak was a disappointment. The degree of doneness was at most average for the meat at medium. From one side of the steak to the other, the cooking levels ranged from over-well-done, dry to well-done, to medium down to medium rare to raw. The side dish of fries was an interesting experience due to the smoking, but with the heaviness of the truffle mayo it was a challenging dish as there were far too many flavors fighting for first place in the table for the taste buds. I left the overcooked and the raw piece on the plate. The waiter asked if I was unhappy, so I showed him the raw and cooked side of the meat, whereupon he apologized on behalf of the kitchen. At this point I said, anything good can happen, and I've never had a dish returned because of quality issues, as it would then just end up in the trash anyway. Dessert (30 minutes later) had a particularly natural surprise in store. The deliciously tasty crumble held a larger piece at the bottom of the glass, which could be removed with a little more force with the spoon, but ended up on the table because it slipped off the spoon (see picture). The entire peel of one half of an apple had found its way into the dessert. Here too I thought to myself, this can happen, it's not that bad. I cleaned the table and put the apple peel on my napkin and finished eating. While clearing away the waiter noticed again that something was wrong. I explained to him what happened and he apologized again and consulted with the kitchen. A short time later he came back and, due to the less than perfect circumstances, offered to invite us to a cocktail at the house's expense. I was recommended a gin and tonic while my friend chose a non-alcoholic cocktail. Both were served and I was lucky enough to be served a Fever Tree Tonic with the glass of gin that I was able to pour myself. The fact that there was little bubbling didn't bother me at first, but after the first few sips, disillusionment set in when I looked at the bottle of stale tonic. Best before date 08/2023, this triggered another apology from the staff. As a further excuse, there was a bottle of wine at the end. Still disappointing for a €140 meal. But the service was top.

Essen war ok, es war etwas zu kalt im Raum. Bedienung/Kellner freundlich, teilweise etwas aufdringlich. Schönes Ambiente insgesamt.

Was für ein großartiges Restaurant. Ganz ohne jeden Zweifel die Nummer 1 in Mönchengladbach und Umgebung. Phantastisches Ambiente, tolles Interieur. Die Speisen: quasi unerreichbar. Preis Leistung: nicht zu schlagen. Service: tadellos, ganz besonders Christopher, ein fabulöses Vorbild an Charme und Zuvorkommenheit, sehr authentisch. Der Chef: ein Paradebeispiel für jeden Gastgeber. Unglaublich freundlich und einladend. Sie meinen ich übertreibe? Ich untertreibe. Vielen Dank für diese tolle Einkehr. Wir kommen sehr regelmäßig, garantiert. Danke.

Unser Brunchtag war gut. Was vielleicht überdacht werden sollte, dass angegebene Termine auch von Ihrer Seite aus eingehalten werden. In der Kälte noch 15 Min. über Termin vor verschlossener Türe zu warten, war nicht angenehm. Doch denke ich mal, das vielleicht Personalmangel der Grund war. Die Gäste hätten auch drinnen im Warmen gerne gewertet.

Am 1. Weihnachtstag hatten wir für den Brunch reserviert. Zunächst mussten alle Gäste draußen bei stürmischem Regenwetter bis 11.15 Uhr warten, obwohl 11.00 Uhr als Öffnungszeit angegeben war. Als dann endlich die Tür geöffnet wurde, wurde jede Gruppe quälend langsam, einzeln zum Tisch geführt, so dass wir weitere 15 Minuten vor der geöffneten Tür warten mussten. Als Begründung wurde uns dann erzählt, einige Gäste wären mit dem Sitzplatz nicht einverstanden gewesen, deshalb habe es so lange gedauert (Schuldverschiebung). Als dann endlich alle durchnässt ihre Plätze eingenommen hatten und kurz darauf gleichzeitig ans Buffet drängten, mussten wir weitere 20 Minuten anstehen, bevor wir etwas auf dem Teller hatten. Von den drei bestellten Getränken kamen dann nochmal 20 Minuten später, nachdem die Teller bereits leergegessen waren, zwei an den Platz. Der Kaffee bis zum Glasrand gefüllt, so dass das freundliche, aber gastronomiefremde junge Mädchen einen ehrheblichen Teil davon verschüttete. Den bestellten Tee gab es dann auf wiederholte Nachfrage nochmal 15 Minuten später. Heißer Kaffee in hochrandigen Gläsern von einem sichtbar unsicheren Kellner wackelig über dem Kinderwagen balanciert und weitere ähnliche Vorfälle, die aufzuzählen hier den Rahmen sprengen würde. Wohlgemerkt, die jungen Aushilfskräfte waren freundlich und bemüht, aber sehr schlecht gebrieft. Die ganze Organisation war dilletantisch und das gesamte Team völlig überfordert. Die Speisen waren o.k., aber eines Weihnachtsbrunchs nicht angemessen (Kuchen aus der Tiefkühltruhe, Dosenobst, Scheibenkäse und Wurst in Discounterqualität, ...), zumal der ohnehin saftige Preis von 35€ an diesem Tag auf 49€ angehoben wurde. Wir sind den einzelnen Menschen nicht böse, aber wer auch immer für dieses Chaos verantwortlich ist, bitte ändern Sie das! So etwas kann Menschen das Weihnachtsfest verhageln.

Wir haben vergangene Woche unsere Weihnachtsfeier im Ninety Nine ausgerichtet und es war eine sehr schöne Veranstaltung. Die Räumlichkeiten waren exakt so vorbereitet, wie von uns gewünscht, der Service war sehr gut und das Essen hervorragend. Ein absolut gelungener Abend! Vielen lieben Dank nochmal an das gesamte Team!

Leider eine Enttäuschung. Als angemeldete Weihnachtsfeier mit ca. 20 Personen erwartet man eigentlich das man dann auch den Hauptgang wählen kann. Anscheinend wird aber nicht ausreichend Essen eingekauft, so das die letzten dann Essen müssen was übrig ist. Die Kellner waren aufmerksam und bemüht, sind aber nicht hinterher gekommen. Leider war der "Chef" bei einer Fehllieferung sehr unfreundlich und nicht gesprächsbereit, umdrehen und ohne Kommentar weg gehen ist natürlich auch eine Art der Kommunikation dem zahlenden Gast gegenüber. Egal, Geld ist ja verdient. Essen war soweit es dann vorhanden war gut. Trotzdem, einmal und nie wieder.

Leider leider war der Service nicht wirklich gut. Auf Getränke haben wir mehrfach bis zu einer halben std gewartet. Auf eine Beschwerde hin, war derjenige,.der was zu sagen hat sehr unfreundlich. Bei der Bestellung vom essen mussten wir leider auch Abstriche machen, da nicht genügend eingekauft wurde, obwohl wir angemeldet waren.

Wir hatten von Freunden einen Gutschein geschenkt bekommen, und hatten uns sehr auf dieses Essen gefreut. Leider war das ein großer Reinfall. Nach ca.15 Minuten kam jemand der uns die Speisekarte brachte,und die Getränkebestellung aufnahm. Nach 30 Minuten sind wir dann gegangen ohne ein Getränk und Speise bekommen zu haben. Wir waren sehr enttäuscht, werden nicht mehr wiederkommen und das Restaurant von unserer Seite nicht weiterempfehlen!!

Sehr schönes Restaurant, gemütlich und angenehme Atmosphäre

Es hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Das Essen war auch seinen Preis wert. Dafr wrde ich jederzeit wiederkommen. Schade nur, dass der Service so zu wünschen übrig lies. Wir haben auf unsere Getränke sehr lange gewartet. Erst aös die Vorspeise kam und wir mal nachgefragt haben, wurde dann nach einiger Zeit Wein und Wasser serviert. Den Aperitif haben wir dann abbestellt. Man kam dann mit dem Aperitif zwischen Vorspeise und Hauptgericht mit einer Entschuldigung auf Kosten des Hauses. Zu Ha use stellten wir dann fest, dass er doch berechnet wurde. Schade, wir wären gerne wiedergekommen.

Ein modern und ansprechend eingerichtetes Restaurant mit sehr freundlicher und aufmerksamer Bedienung. Leider waren bei unserem Besuch verschiedene Speisen der Karte bereits nicht mehr verfügbar. Die bestellten Menues waren aber wirklich sehr lecker. Es war unser erster Besuch im ninety nine, aber ganz bestimmt nicht unser letzter.

Ein sehr gutes Essen zu einem angemessenen Preis. Unser Ober hieß Max er war sehr freundlich und konnte alle unsere Fragen beantworten. Ich habe in Mönchengladbach noch nie so ein gutes Rib Eye gegessen. Das gesamte Personal ist sehr freundlich, wir werden bestimmt das ninety nine wieder besuchen.

Wir nehmen meist das Menü, Essen super lecker, freundliches Personal, gemütliche Atmosphäre, einfach immer wieder ein genussvoller Abend, sehr zu empfehlen :-)

Super Service! Cocktails sind auch spitze. Und über das Ambiente brauchen wir gar nicht sprechen. Absolut perfekt.

es ist ein schönes lokal. schade,daß das essen so schlecht ist,es war alles total versalzen! das preisleistungsverhältnis stimmt in keiner weise.

Ich warte noch auf die Nachspeise, aber selbst wenn diese eine „-5“ sein sollte, wäre das Resultat eine 10/10. absolute empfehlenswert

Das Restaurant ist im Industrie Style eingerichtet und ist sehr einladend. Personal ist aufmerksam und das Essen war sehr lecker.
