Overall, a restaurant where everything fits perfectly: great ambiance, excellent service, and fantastic food. We'd love to come back!

We were out and about with our voucher booklet and decided on a whim to go to the Niederrheinischer Hof. We were greeted warmly at the reception counter and sat down on the dated terrace. The restaurant, known for its schnitzel dishes, has a rustic, cozy feel. The service was always friendly and attentive, and the food was good, fresh, tasty, and plentiful. We had the Düsseldorfer and the schnitzel with peppers, onions, and mushrooms, each with well-prepared fries and a fresh side salad, and were very satisfied with everything.

We went to a birthday party yesterday. Unfortunately, the food was incredibly bad. No fresh food, everything was frozen. I ordered meat and sauce separately and didn't get it. The meat was not only overcooked, it was also swimming in the sauce. My comments that I should have ordered the sauce separately were ignored with a shrug. When I wanted to order a drink, it was only received very hesitantly. As a guest, I felt like an inconvenience; the restaurant owner and his wife were very unfriendly and rude. I can't recommend eating here to anyone who values ​​good, delicious food and friendly service.

It wasn't for me. The portions were very small and there was no background music. The gyros and fried potatoes weren't crispy, and you have to order at least two or three portions to feel full. Otherwise, my reviews are very fair and usually range from four to five stars, but here I definitely only have to give one star.

I ordered pork fillet with béarnaise sauce and fried potatoes. When I cut into the meat, blood ran into the sauce and the meat was completely raw inside. When I told the staff that I didn't eat it like that, they just replied rudely, "We always do it like this!" and that I could have said beforehand that I wanted the pork well done. After a very long wait, I finally got a new portion and the meat was cooked through. However, we weren't given anything to drink; our glasses sat empty for 30 minutes. They ignored us and just gave us dirty looks. The portions of our food were also very small and, on the other hand, incredibly expensive. I mean, the restaurant was almost empty at 7 p.m. on a Saturday evening. That should have told us everything. Never again!

We ate there early Friday evening. The food was okay. However, the side salad I had canceled was served with the words "it's already ready in the kitchen." What's keeping us from visiting this restaurant again, however, is the fact that guests with a "pleasure points book" don't seem to be particularly welcome there. Guests who visited this restaurant that evening were immediately asked if they had made a reservation. Without a reservation, they were told, the pleasure points book couldn't be used that evening. However, the book doesn't mention this at all; the 2024 book is valid without restrictions, and the 2025 book cannot be used there on Saturdays. We didn't use our book that evening because we didn't eat exclusively schnitzel. But as mentioned above, we won't be visiting this restaurant again, whether with or without the voucher book.

I had dinner there for the first time with friends. I couldn't really decide because there were several things I wanted to try. The schnitzel with fried egg and bacon that I ended up eating was super tasty. For dessert there were really delicious cherries with vanilla ice cream and the evening was great. The service was great and the drink selection is sufficient. All I can say is it was worth it and I'll definitely be back.

Today we ate liver Berlin style again. It was excellent as always. As a Berliner I know I have the original Berlin liver with onion rinds, Apple rings and mashed potatoes are really only in this super quality only from Berlin top Restaurants. Very nice service and good food. The outside terrace still has room for improvement, but you can sit there very quietly and undisturbed. And there was also a nightcap on the house. Worth eating there.

The restaurant is really recommended!! I was greeted and served in a very friendly manner, the food was very, very tasty and the atmosphere is really nice. The guest room is very nicely designed and the sanitary facilities were clean. I had the recommendation of the week, sirloin steak with pepper sauce with fries (I ordered with extra fries) and salad. It was really delicious and you could even taste the rosemary. Nice medium, really great. The host gave us a limoncello after the meal!! At the end I had a very nice conversation with the innkeeper about this inn and how it came about. I will definitely come again if I have to stay here with customers. We were just in the restaurant. We were served, but things were always missing and we often had to ask when someone came. Other customers had to wait an hour for service. And friendliness leaves a lot to be desired.

The reason I give it one star is because there are no ZERO stars. I have NEVER been treated as rudely in a restaurant as I was here. The tenant of the restaurant was extremely RUDE and INdifferent... I've never experienced anything like that before. When I asked what was on the mixed starter plate, I was briefly looked at and left standing without getting an answer. My order was also not taken or was forgotten. The young girl who was there that evening to help out was totally overwhelmed - she wasn't to blame, she was left completely alone and I felt so sorry for her. The tenant also cleaned it up in front of the guests in the restaurant. That doesn't work at all! The food was good, unfortunately the bread was old and didn't taste good. The highlight, however, was when I looked for the reception of the Hotel Celina to pick up my room key. When I asked where I had to go, I was answered with Pfffffffffff, not here, it's none of my business and look for a telephone. I then told him that it would be more polite and that you don't talk to customers like that and there was no reaction either. I will never enter this restaurant again. I also noticed LIVE that a lady had received the wrong dish and was attacked in such a way that it was truly unbelievable what I experienced there that evening.

Das Hotel kann ich nicht bewerten, weil ich nicht übernachtet habe. Das Restaurant ist einfach klasse! Sehr freundlich und super leckeres Essen! Hier stimmt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis! Absolute Empfehlung!

Grosses, ruhiges Zimmer, gute Betten

Wir waren mit vielen Alten Weibern auf einen Abstecher da. Es war noch früh am Abend, leider war nicht viel los. Und dabei gab es einen sehr guten DJ, der für uns viel gute Musik gemacht hat. Im nächsten Jahr kommen wir wieder und dann bleiben wir 🥳 Ansonsten kann man hier auch ordentlich essen. Für die "Draußensaison" würde ich reservieren.

Schönes Ambiente, sehr netter Service und leckeres Essen. Mir gefällt besonderes die Einrichtung, Reinkommen hinsetzen wohlfühlen. Dort findet man eine kleine schöne Außenanlage (Terrasse) die wir definitiv testen wenn das Wetter besser ist

Wir haben hier übernachtet und gegessen. Das Zimmer war recht klein und einfach. Die Heizung hat die ganze Nacht geknackt. Das Frühstück war vielfältig allerdings qualitativ eher schlecht. Der Kaffee war nicht gut. Das Essen im Restaurant war in Ordnung. Es gibt allerdings keine vegetarischen oder veganen Optionen. Verständnis war dafür auch bei der Bedienung nicht vorhanden. Im ganzen ok, es gibt für den Preis aber bessere Unterkünfte.

Waren nach Jahren von dem Buch Genusspunkte im Restaurant. Wir wurden freundlichst empfangen, hinzu gab es 3 mal ein köstliches Schnitzel. Die Bratkartoffel und die Pommes waren Perfekt. Definitiv einen 2ten und 3 ten Besuch wert 👍👍 Danke 🍺

Nach einer sehr langen Zeit waren wir mal wieder hier essen und angenehm überrascht, weil wir in der Vergangenheit es anders in Erinnerung haben. Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Wartezeit vollkommen in Ordnung. Die Portionen waren sehr gut. Auch vom Preis her Okay. Die Bedienung war freundlich und aufmerksam. Es gibt hinter dem Restaurant einen Parkplatz

Restaurant im Brauhaus-Stil, mit viel Platz und geschmackvollem Ambiente eingerichtet. Die Speisen sind lecker angerichtet und in völlig ausreichender Größe/Menge. Auf Wunsch auch als Seniorenteller serviert und zu ganz normalen Preisen, abgerundet durch freundliches und flottes Personal! Ein Gruß von der Theke beendete einen gemütlichen Abend in geselliger Runde. Die Toilettenanlage ist neuwertig und angenehm sauber. Abgerundet wurde der Besuch durch zahlreiche und gut ausgeleuchtete hauseigene Parkplätze hinter dem Lokal. Warum nicht 5 Sterne? Kein Gourmet-Restaurant auf Kö-Niveau. Aber ein sehr gutes Restaurant, wie man es sich wünscht. Wir kommen wieder!

Angenehme Atmosphäre, leckeres Essen, nette Bedienung

Wat hebben wij hier héérlijk gegeten authentieke schnitzels met verse champignonnen saus, salade en als dessert een warme apfelstrudel met room saus . Een topper om samen te delen . Bij de rekening kregen wij een likeur van het huis. Wat een attente service !
