A very nice restaurant. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The food was also delicious. 😋

It was our first visit to this restaurant, and we chose it based on the overwhelmingly positive reviews. The place looked run-down: dirty, sticky tables, the placemats were covered in stains, and the windows in the conservatory (where we sat) clearly hadn't seen a cleaning cloth in years. My first thought was, "If the dining room looks like this, what must the kitchen be like?" The food: lifelessly served with the obligatory lettuce leaf as garnish, like something out of the 80s. The appetizer plate was okay. For our main course, we ordered calamari, and there's only one thing to say about that—disgusting, absolutely disgusting. The calamari wasn't cleaned properly, was rubbery, and tasted old and fishy. Inedible—we left it. All in all, not recommended. I just wonder what people usually eat that gives this place such positive reviews?

Still great, even with the new owner. We received a warm welcome. We had to wait a short while to place our order, but that was perfectly reasonable. The food arrived promptly. Both the appetizer and the main course were very good. We will continue to come regularly.

We decided to try it after the change of ownership. The verdict is that the gyros was soggy, lukewarm, and barely seasoned, while the bifteki was very dry. Everything tasted like it had come from a warming tray. The worst part, however, was that the tzatziki was a completely pre-made product (and of poor quality at that). The service was very good. Perhaps we'll come back sometime when the kitchen changes.

We were there yesterday. October 26, 2025 at 5:30 PM So it was hardly busy, 3 tables occupied. The waiter came and brought the menu *the one from the previous tenant*. So far, so good. Now it was time to order. I asked if the fish was fresh or frozen (it is frozen), and I decided to go for meat based on that!! Friendliness and the joy of one's job/ MISSED. It was supposed to be a tzatziki for the appetizer of gyros with rice, veal with kritharaki in sauce. Drinks: a glass of sweet white wine spritzer, mango spritzer, and water. Let's start with the white wine spritzer: They served a red wine. I pointed out that I ordered a sweet white wine spritzer, but they served a wine spritzer (wine diluted with still water). Now, on to the tzatziki: tasted like store-bought/milram. The gyro had no seasoning, it was greasy and flimsy. The rice was too fatty/ butter was more important than rice. The veal: The consistency was okay, except for the fact that it was dried out on top and tasted like it had just absorbed water. The rice noodles were overcooked and had no flavor/ sauce was a diluted tomato paste/ tasted comparable to Hipp tomato jars. Disappointed all around. Unfortunately, the previous owner had already slowed down towards the end. But what happened yesterday was a disgrace. I've rarely had such a bad meal and rarely had such bad service. I'm giving this one star because I can't write a review with zero stars. My review reflects my taste and the taste of my companion. I recommend everyone to form their own opinion about the new owner. As we all know, tastes differ.

Delicious Greek restaurant with a lovely atmosphere. Consistently good food for years!

A fantastic Greek restaurant. You receive a very friendly welcome and are shown to your table. A delicious ouzo is served right away, of course. The food and drinks were delivered very quickly and were of very good quality. The liver was perfect, as was the rest of the meat. The highlight for me were the fries, which were delicious. Unfortunately, I have to admit, everything was so delicious and I was so hungry that I didn't manage to take any good pictures. It looked so delicious, though.

I went there today for the first time in a long time and got something to take away. Unfortunately, I didn't think the vegetarian appetizer platter, at almost €15, was a reasonable price-performance ratio. The baked feta cheese was gone in one bite. The baked dumpling was okay. Add a few fried zucchini and eggplant slices, tzatziki, garnish cucumbers, and tomato slices, and that was it. I found it very disappointing. I also thought the prices were far too high.

We had dinner there on September 16, 2025, and unfortunately, we can't recommend the restaurant. First of all, it was incredibly loud, and then the dishes seem to have gotten smaller due to the change in management. The starter, Florini, was a small stuffed pepper with some salad and tzatziki, and that's ridiculous for €9.50! My main course simply didn't come with any briam (vegetables), even though it was listed on the menu, it was simply forgotten. The four of us realized that the portions had definitely shrunk, and the value for money was no longer there.

I haven't been there in a long time, and yesterday I realized why again. I spent two hours in the restaurant and the appetizers arrived just barely. Later it turned out they weren't what we ordered, but it was "okay." Full, blackcurrant spritzer was more like water. Instead of ordering apple juice for the child, apple spritzer came. The waiter was hectic and practically unavailable because the kitchen wasn't running properly. I was in the restaurant for 1.5 hours, and even though (large round) mixed platters had been pre-ordered, I took my small children and went home hungry. Eventually, almost another hour later, the food arrived (according to the others). Disappointing, but unfortunately nothing new. You lack organization; as soon as the place is full, there seems to be only chaos. It's a shame, because the place is nice, the waiters are friendly, and the food is (normally) delicious. I just didn't have any of it yesterday.

Attention, new tenant!!!!! Staff OK. Prices too high. Portions too small compared to before, Almost halved. Absolutely unacceptable. You can't taste any garlic in the Zarziki; if you like garlic, please avoid it. No comparison to the old tenant (we were regulars for 15 years, not anymore). We told the manager, but there was no reaction. A real shame. !!!!!

5 stars in every way—from the warm welcome and personal service to the absolutely delicious food—first-class and enjoyable—I'll definitely be back soon!

The food here is always very good, but be careful, the restaurant is currently closed due to a change of tenant, but we will be back afterwards.

We enjoy coming to Mythos and really like the food and the atmosphere. Today, the salad was unfortunately a bit soggy and didn't seem quite fresh – but the team reacted quickly and kindly and brought us a fresh new one without any discussion. 👍 What we noticed as a family: The restaurant is unfortunately not optimally equipped for small children. There's no playground or small play area or something to color in. That would be a really great addition – because if children feel comfortable and are occupied, parents can also stay seated more relaxed (and maybe even order another glass of wine 😉). Overall, we're still recommended – with a little more attention to family friendliness, it would be perfect!

The food was simply great and the service was very friendly.

I highly recommend this restaurant. I've been here several times and the price-performance ratio is absolutely fine.

In diesem griechischen Restaurant wird man standesgemäß von Griechen bedient. Das Essen ist gut und reichhaltig. Preise sind moderat. Die Speisekarte enthält viele Optionen. Man sollte, um Mißverständnisse zu vermeiden bei Speisen und Getränken die Nummern angeben, die in der Karte aufgeführt sind. Die Speisen sind original griechisch und enthalten oft auch Käse Tzatziki oder Schafskäse. Wer das nicht möchte, muß das bei der Bestellung angeben. Das Personal spricht nicht so gut Deutsch und deshalb gibt es auf den Servietten einen kleinen Sprachführer für die Gäste. Einen Biergarten gibt es direkt vor Restaurant und Hotel. Dazu auch ausreichend Parkplätze vor und hinter dem Haus.

The service and ambiance were good, but I was totally disappointed with the meat. The "beef" was extremely mealy and tasted like liver. If that was the intention, then I don't understand... This was my last time here.

This place definitely has the BEST Greek cuisine in the region. We've tried it all; the mom still cooks here herself, and you can taste it. Large portions, great service, and a fantastic interior!

The restaurant used to be better. Prices are going up, and the meat quality is declining. I've never had so much fat in my gyro as I do now. I was there again recently. After I finished eating, the waiters walked past my table several times without asking if I needed anything else. And yes, I would have liked dessert and a cappuccino. I stared at that for about 30 minutes before I got up to pay at the cash register. I didn't want to wait another 30 minutes to pay.

Price and quality do not quite match, but otherwise quite good

Super cozy Greek restaurant with polite service. We didn't book a table, but we were lucky. A lot of people come here for dinner. The food is tastefully presented and the portions are large. It's not a cheap place, but you have to pay for quality everywhere. I would gladly recommend it to others.

One of the best Greek restaurants I have ever been to, from soup to meat and dessert, everything was perfectly served and the staff were absolutely uncommentative.

Anyone who wants to eat delicious Greek food is well advised here. It was consistently delicious, from the salad, tzatziki and pita to the main course. The service was friendly and quick. The location is very large and feels like it's convoluted, which I found a little uncomfortable. But of course you could also use it for a celebration with many people. We will definitely come back!

Good Greek restaurant for in between meals The food is fresh and delicious!

Main course was overall very tasty. Portion was a bit small. The dessert was really very good. Staff was also very friendly. Few parking spaces available.

The appetizer plate used to be stocked with higher quality items and more selection. We missed roasted flavors in the squid and meat. There was just nothing crispy and browned. Service and ambience were quite satisfactory.

Had Suflaki - the meat tasted very good but was too hard to eat - like rubber! Too expensive in terms of price! We also tried gyros - this meat was very dry - this happens when it hangs on the skewer for too long or it has already been pre-cut and then reheated in the microwave or pan when used. The prices, however, are far too expensive compared to the quality of the food.

I go there regularly for lunch. The food is absolutely good, sufficient portions, the lunch menu is inexpensive. Very friendly service. The atmosphere is more Bavarian. Inn, but that's not a bad thing. Overall, absolutely recommended!

Misleading German in the menu - if it says baked, you have to understand it as fried in fat!

Lots of parking spaces. The place seems quite dark. Large menu. We (4 people) all found the food very good. Portions large. Service actually only 4.5, but tried hard. Prices have increased significantly (!) in recent years - but where haven't they? It's amazing that there are so many good Greek restaurants in Germering...

Otherwise it was always good! Starter was still very good. Main course average. Gyros mixed with vegetables, without onions! It doesn't work at all. Fish plate was good, but one fish was bad. Unfortunately no insight into my complaint. Compared to otherwise very relaxed. Too bad!

Delicious lunch, unfortunately when you request "extra lots of garlic" there is only this oil available, in terms of taste it makes a huge difference whether it is added directly and fresh or not... it's a shame...

It's been "our" Greek restaurant for years. You're immediately greeted in a very friendly manner and shown to a table. If you ask what you want, a welcome ouzo comes with it. The waiters are extremely nice and attentive. I can recommend every dish from the food, everything tastes excellent. The ambience is also very tasteful and cozy. I really like it there. We held every big family celebration there. Perfect, very friendly and professional service. As soon as you book, you are made aware of a lot of things and come up with some really good ideas. There's going to be another great celebration soon, I'm looking forward to it because I know everything will be perfect. There we feel like we are with friends, not just like paying guests. Thank you very much for that 😊

Nach einem langen Tag sind spontan gegen 21 Uhr ins Restaurant Mythos gegangen. Einen Tisch für meinen Kolkegen und mich im Aussenbereich. Die Kellner waren flott und wir haben jeder ein 0,5 Helles und einen Gyrosspiess bestellt. Perfekte Größe und sehr lecker - wir kommen sicher wieder!

Went there after a walk in the late afternoon. The service was quite good, only one waiter was somehow not having his day. But the food made up for everything. We all enjoyed it very much and would definitely visit the restaurant again.

We've been regulars since it opened, but that's it for now... the portions have become very small, the ouzo and the small dessert "greetings from the house" have been abolished, but the prices have risen significantly and the service has dropped significantly... and be careful : do not eat food that has been brought incorrectly as a courtesy, even after a discussion you will be charged the extra price (not mentioned before)!!

There are Greeks and Greeks, this one is the second. Lovely farmer's salad to season yourself. Gyros small portion, hardly seasoned, the calamari briefly fried without salt or spices. It's better, there's room for improvement. Very large restaurant, lots of waiters, overwhelmed at times.

We have been satisfied guests for years. Today we were extremely disappointed. 50 euro bill. No ouzo as a welcome. No ouzo and no dessert to say goodbye. Even though we weren't finished yet, a new set of cutlery was simply placed on the table. My wife and I were surprised and saw this as an invitation to leave. Everything is totally loveless. The competition can do that better. You should also be able to feel comfortable given the increased prices. We won't be coming back again.

Food is delicious, portions are definitely big enough, staff are always extremely friendly and accommodating.. However, unfortunately you can also notice the rising prices here, which is not a criticism of the operators. After all, they also have to cover their costs.
