Einfach nur KLASSE 😋 Waren heute wieder hier 01.07.26 und wie immer Freundliches Personal und Lecker Essen 😍

Schönes Restaurant, gutes Essen, Service sehr nett und aufmerksam

Rund um begeistert und zufrieden, besser geht nicht. Im März 2026 waren wir mit 15 Personen samstags und sonntags zu Mittagessen, unterschiedliche Gerichte, aber jedes Gericht wirklich sehr gut. Auch jetzt im Juli 2026 mit 22 Personen waren alle positiv überrascht von dem schnellen Service, wobei auch diesmal jedes Gericht ausgezeichnet war. Der Service, sehr aufmerksam und wirklich freundlich, das Ambiente hat auch sehr gut gefallen, egal ob innen oder im Gastgarten. Allgemein sehr empfehlenswert, Wir werden sicher wiederkommen.

Wir waren mit unserer ganzen Familie zu Besuch und wurden von Anfang an sehr herzlich empfangen. Das Restaurant ist authentisch eingerichtet und die Speisekarte ist übersichtlich gestaltet. Auch das Essen hat uns überzeugt. Ein kleiner Kritikpunkt sind jedoch die Portionsgrößen – für den Preis hätten wir uns etwas größere Portionen gewünscht. Davon abgesehen können wir das Restaurant uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Es sieht alles nach griechischem Essen aus, aber irgendetwas fehlt. Gewürze und Olivenöl.

Das Restaurant Mondo bietet leckeres Essen und einen freundlichen Service. hatte eine schöne Zeit und werde gerne wiederkommen.

Eigentlich ein toller laden, vom netten Personal bis zum Ambiente. Leider ist mir das Gyros in letzter Zeit immer viel zuviel gesalzen... Muss ich dann mal was anderes essen🫣

Das Essen war sehr lecker, hat aber meiner Meinung nichts mit griechischem Essen zu tun. Dennoch hat es sehr gut geschmeckt. Ich fand es überteuert - liegt vielleicht auch daran, das das Restaurant in der Nähe Münchens liegt. Service sehr nett und zuvorkommend.

Sehr freundliches Personal. Speisekarten auf Deutsch und Englisch. Das Restaurant war für Sonntagabend recht gut besucht und hatte ein authentisch griechisches Ambiente. Die Leber war hervorragend – perfekt zubereitet. Koch und Kellner haben einen tollen Job gemacht. Auch die Anzahl der Gäste war genau richtig. Ich komme gerne wieder.

I've been a regular at Café Mondo for about 20 years. It used to be one of my favorite places – good food, fair prices, friendly service. Unfortunately, things have changed drastically lately: the prices have risen significantly, the quality of the food has noticeably declined, and the service isn't as attentive as it used to be. It's a real shame, and I hope things improve – Mondo deserves it.

My husband and I would have actually been very satisfied with the food, if it weren't for the small portions! For that much money per dish, we would have definitely expected a proper portion! But the dishes we had wouldn't fill an adult! But the dishes did impress us in terms of taste, and we can recommend the Mondo restaurant in that regard!

We've been guests at mondo for two decades, but not for the past three. Today was our first time back, and we were terribly disappointed. Considering how well we used to eat and be treated there, today we experienced a complete rip-off, and we are correspondingly disappointed. This wasn't Greek food, but a very simply prepared tourist rip-off plate: dry tomato rice, three slices each of zucchini and eggplant, half a bell pepper, and some kind of fried dish with an unidentifiable cream. Honestly! Not to mention the poorly dressed or even undressed side salad. Our disappointment at this, coupled with the unfriendly male service we'd experienced for the first time, was enough for us.

Always delicious, and the staff is super friendly. We always enjoy coming back.

The food is excellent and very wholesome. The service is impeccable and the value is excellent. We're always happy to come back! Our dietary requests aren't questioned, but are immediately accommodated. Dining here is a very pleasant experience.

We went to the Mondo restaurant in Germering a few days ago and were thoroughly disappointed by the experience. The service was among the best. When we arrived, the waiter brought us two full glasses of ouzo without asking. The gyro meat was burnt and dry, the salads were poorly prepared, with too much cheap vegetable oil. The lamb shank, despite the waiter's statement that it was frozen but oven-roasted, was not cooked properly. I received the lamb shank within about eight minutes of ordering, so it was heated in the microwave. The rice with the gyro was overcooked and flavorless.

Quality is no longer the same as on our last visit, price-performance ratio is no longer right in my opinion

The food here is truly delicious! Unfortunately, the staff seems to have been in Germany for too long. The tone is very rude, even though there are very few guests, and people are constantly strolling past the table... If you're looking for that typical Greek atmosphere, this is the wrong place.

We chose the restaurant completely by chance, attracted by the tempting aroma. The food was great, high quality and fresh and the service was exceptionally attentive. My husband was smoking a cigar outside, and they brought him a special ashtray. The souvlaki and Cretan plate were a great choice.

Good Greek cuisine. And as a vegetarian, you get a nice selection of warm starters that are also sufficient as a main course.

The food is quite delicious and is really Greek authentic. The waiters are attentive and child friendly. The restaurant is cozy in Winter and in Summer or Spring very nice to stay outside. Aaaand they are now accepting Credit Card payments for the longest time. Finally. Many locals eat here esp on evenings and weekends which is a good sign that food is delicious.

Amazing, lovely staff that are always smiling. I got free salad and ouzo before the dinner. The meat was juicy and delicious. Very affordable for the quality and taste.

I like this Greek very much. The food is consistently good and the staff is always friendly. The cold starter plate is enough for two. And the grilled calamari is a poem. But the rest tastes great too. The restaurant is beautifully and modernly furnished. Can really recommend 👍

Very friendly staff, very good tasty food.

Bright, beautiful restaurant with a terrace from April. The owner is friendly and attentive and the service is quick. There is lunch and children's portions. Also take-away dishes. The ☕️ is strong, the guest gets an ouzo on the house and the kids get a shot of juice. It's a little Greece vacation there.

Our favorite Greek restaurant in Germering for many, many years. We also still know the old location on Münchner Straße. The food is always good and the team is friendly and attentive.

Früher war ich gerne hier. Doch dieses Mal am Aschermittwoch war das Lokal zur besten Zeit fast leer!!! Ich vermisste die bekannten Gesichter beim Personal und ich vermisste - dem Anlaß entsprechend - 2 oder 3 spezielle Fischgerichte. Ich bekam nach längerer Wartezeit eine schwarz gegrillte Dorade (scheinbar hatte man das mit dem ASCHErmittwoch falsch verstanden), die ich zurückgehen hätte lassen, wenn ich dann nicht wieder eine gefühlte Ewigkeit hätte warten müssen. Etwa um halb 10 legte man mir dann ungefragt und kommentarlos die Rechnung auf den Tisch, da ich mittlerweile der letzte Gast war und man scheinbar keinen Bock mehr hatte. So geht das gar nicht!!!

Sehr freundliches Personal, immer sehr schnell und hilfsbereit. Essen ist super lecker und die Auswahl ist riesig. Preis-Leistung ist top.

Wir sind in alter Gewohnheit, wie schön öfters, auf der Durchreise kurz zum Essen gewesen. Früher konnte man hier richtig gut griechisch essen, die Zeiten sind wohl vorbei. Bei uns jedenfalls war alles schwach bis durchschnittlich - egal ob das Pita, die Calamari, das geschmacklose Lamm oder das eigentlich gut schmeckende Gyros, was aber leider einige fettig zähe Stücke hatte. Da es recht günstig ist, vergeben wir noch 3 Sterne, werden jedoch nicht mehr kommen.

Der Udo war sehr gut. Die Reisnudeln waren glitschig. Ich kannte sie nicht. Vielleicht sind sie immer so in ihrer Konsistenz. Für Vegetarier und Veganer gibt es zu wenig Auswahl. Fast alle Gerichte sind auf Fleisch und Fisch und anderen Tieren ausgerichtet. Durchschnittliche Qualität.Schade! Ein Restaurant sollte, aus meiner Sicht, ÜBERDURCHSCHNITTLICH sein .

Wir waren schon oft hier, das Essen war super, die Bedienung freundlich und der Service perfekt. Auch mit unserem Hund gab es nie Probleme, im Gegenteil, meist wurde sogar gefragt, ob man ihm Wasser bringen solle. Das hat sich wohl geändert, die Lammkeule war innen noch kalt, also nur aufgewärmt, das Gemüse dazu ziemlich verkocht, meine Garneelen waren gut (auf dem Grill kann man nicht viel falsch machen), der Reis dazu auch nur aufgewärmt und die Remoulade kam definitiv aus der Tube. Die Bedienung war zwar freundlich, aber ziemlich überlastet und zeigte fast panische Angst vor unserem kleinen Hund. Ich vermute fast einen Besitzerwechsel oder der Koch wurde gewechselt. Schade, wir werden wohl nicht mehr dort zum Essen gehen.

Due to our short trip to Munich, we went here for dinner twice in the evening. The cuisine is exceptionally good, the service is excellent! We were absolutely thrilled and would love to come back when we head towards Munich again. :-)

Delicious food and fast service for an affordable price.

Card payment not possible? That's been going on for months... but the highlight was the gyro, which obviously wasn't cooked through. You could see occasional pink/red pieces of gyros. No apology or compensation, was billed in full..

Yesterday, July 6th, 2024, we arrived there at short notice by car from Tollwood in Munich, as a thunderstorm forced us to end our stay there. Not far from A 96, very easy to find with google maps. First impression of the Mondo was very good. Lots of outdoor seating covered with an awning. Parking space was a bit tight, but we still got one right in front of the restaurant. Reception by staff very politely, when we pointed out, we didn't have a reservation, no problem, how many people, (4) whether we wanted to eat outside or inside. Due to the weather, we decided to stay indoors. Got a very nice table. Classically modern furnishings, no pseudo-Greek image. Staff very attentive, guess family business. Polite note in advance that only cash payment is possible. If this is always the case, please switch to standard card payment options. Obligatory ouzo was there immediately. Drinks order was taken quickly and delivered promptly. Extensive menu. Priced in the usual segment. Sharing the starters was easy. The statement was: "No problem, let's put 4 plates there, starters in the middle, then we can share. But leave room for dessert when eating." The time window between ordering food and applying it is very pleasant. The dolmades were large at 4 pieces, crunchy and very tasty. Likewise fried zucchini. Plus garlic and pita bread. The main course was calamari and gyros, other souflaki with gyros and souflaki with liver and rice with tomatoes, salad included. Plenty of meat on the plate, rice not overcooked, mushy and sticky, but with a bite. Above all, the entire meal came in one sitting and was really hot. Probably the senior boss? came to us and inquired about our satisfaction and about the food. Reordering drinks was requested discreetly and unobtrusively by the staff and did not have to be requested separately. Staff always kept an eye on the guests. Dessert was 1 portion for every 2 people, one panna cotta with strawberries and strawberry mirror and one galaktoboureko, the traditional semolina casserole. Homemade as the boss emphasized. Simply sin, simply good. In terms of portion size, the two of us made better decisions after the main course. ;-) Finally, a round of ouzo or optionally non-alcoholic. Conclusion: Everyone enjoyed it fantastically. Location very appealing, staff totally polite, quick, careful, accommodating. Food, the main review point, is very tasty. The fact that the TV was on in the corner on the ceiling during the European Championships wasn't a problem at all, as there was no sound on. Also not a huge picture area. After the game ended, TV was turned off immediately. Top. This meant that those interested in football could take a look at it and there was no annoying hectic cell phone watching live at the tables. When we're back in Munich, we'll make sure we can find a place to eat there on the way home. As mentioned, card payment options should be standard in the future. We have eaten in this restaurant several times and it was always good but also a bit more expensive than other Greek restaurants. Last week we ate there again after a long break and were very disappointed. My wife ordered mousaka, which looked like it had been reheated a few times and was actually nothing more than a tasteless floppy porridge. We pointed this out to the waiter, then two other people came over and asked what was wrong and then left with a shrug and no comment. I had the Helena plate. It was okay so far, but also tasteless. The last time we ate at Mondo was about 9 months ago and the food was much better back then. Conclusion: You can get Greek food much better elsewhere in Germering and only a few hundred meters away from the Mondo.

Ich war gestern das erste mal auf Empfehlung hin in diesem "Restaurant" Das Essen war klein und mickrig und die Ober auch nicht gerade freundlich. Ganz zu schweigen von der schrecklichen Lage. Nach dem Essen wollte ich mit meinem Hund (wo soll ich den denn lassen) kurz auf die Toilette, was mir aber verboten wurde. Mit Hund geht das gar nicht ! Ich habe schon anfangs gemerkt, dass hier Hunde nicht besonders willkommen sind. Mir wurde ein Platz am äußersten Eck zugwiesen. Ein dementsprechendes Schild "Hunde verboten etc." hätte hier im Vorfeld einiges geregelt. Fazit: Nie mehr dieses Restaurant. Es ist kein Aushängeschild für Germering. Zum Glück wohne ich in München !

Went there for the first time today. The waitresses were super friendly and the food was delicious. Our two children were also thrilled. Lovely again.

Good ouzo before after dinner from the house. The food was good without being shiny. The tzatziki was freshly made. Only the side salad could use a little more finesse. Inconspicuous on the outside and very friendly and clean on the inside. A Greek that you can highly recommend. Simply because the service puts you in a good mood.

I have rarely been treated so well. Above all: The food not only tasted excellent, but was also served really hot. Very few people manage that. Full marks from me. If there is Greek in Germering, then only there. Is my recommendation. Thank you for the lovely birthday meal on Monday May 27th.

We go there often and enjoy coming. The food is always delicious and the waitresses are very nice. What does have a negative aftertaste, however, is the billing. Only cash payment for a long time. Today we received a receipt that said: “Total €35, received €0, refund €35”.

I've been to some good Greek restaurants. This is definitely one of my personal top 3. The food is excellent, the service is attentive but not intrusive. The only point of criticism: payment is only possible in cash. We'd love to come back!

Unglaublich herzliche Bedienung vom Empfang bis zum Abschied. Alle von uns bestellten Speisen waren ausgezeichnet und die Portionen sehr groß: Wir fühlten uns wirklich willkommen... Viel besser geht es nicht!
