Ich hatte eine superleckere Pizza. Leichter Boden, leckerer Belag, typisch italienisch. Der Salat war auch sehr schön angerichtet. Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Sehr netter und freundlicher Kellner. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Das Essen war sehr gut. Die Grillplatte war köstlich. Die Wartezeit war allerdings lang (45 Minuten).

Leckeres Essen. Preisleistung vollkommen okay. Lage etwas laut, aber man gewöhnt sich dran. Personal sehr nett und aufmerksam.

Ein super italienisches Restaurant. Wir wurden sehr nett empfangen. Die Vorspeise war top und auch unsere Pizza und das Nudelgericht waren sehr lecker. Dieses Restaurant ist eine Empfehlung wert.

Essen war super, ich hatte ein Rumpsteak, preislich auch völlig im Rahmen. Portion der Beilagen kann man drum streiten, für mich ausreichend. Ambiente find ich recht schwierig, für mich zu lieblos. Leider muss ich sagen war ich vom Heutigen Service ziemlich enttäuscht. Die Standard Sachen wie fragen ob es schmeckt oder ob man nochwas trinken möchte, einfach generelle Präsenz beim Kunden. Auch um mich herum, leider fehl am Platz. Leider für mich essentiell für ein gutes Restaurant und einen netten Aufenthalt, bei dieser niedrigen Auslastung (an einem Samstag) leider katastrophal. Recht nett waren trotzdem alle.

Hier kann man ein einer gemütlichen Atmosphäre lecker essen und entspannen.

Typisches ITAL. Lokal. Gutes preiswertes Essen. Romantisch direkt an der Rur gelegen, draußen mit schöner verglaster Terrasse und einer Freiluftterrasse mit vielen Sitzgelegenheiten und Sonnenschirmen... Die Inhaber kommen aus Süditalien und sind stets freundlich und bemüht es recht zu machen.

Top Service, Essen sehr lecker alles bestens

Pizza ganz lecker, in der Mitte aber sehr durchweicht, geht für meinen Geschmack besser. Lage an einer viel befahrenen Straße, dafür kann das Lokal aber nichts.

Leider nur ein Stern. Wir sind heute extra mit dem Motorrad angereist und die Pizzeria ist GESCHLOSSEN. Anscheinend jeden Freitag Nachmittag. Eventuell sollte man dort darüber nachdenken die aktuellen Öffnungszeiten bekannt zu machen. Sehr schade!

Kleines Restaurant, das an Wochenenden im Februar oft sehr voll ist. Wir hatten reserviert, daher war das kein Problem. Köstliches, frisches Essen zu fairen Preisen und superfreundlicher Service.

Alle Speisen frisch zubereitet und lecker, aber leider trotz Vorspeisen Platte nichts zum satt werden.

Das Restaurant liegt an unserer Lieblingswanderroute ("Bahnhof Brück parken, hoch zu Burg Nideggen, Buntsandsteinroute nach Uebingen oder Obermaubach, mit Zug zurück"). Großartig: - die freie Wahl zwischen Draußen, Wintergarten oder drinnen. - Freundliche, schnelle Bedienung - Gefühlt: Auch in 2025 Preise von 2023 (z.B. Pizza ca. 11€). - "2 x Pizza, der Kurze (9 Jahre) isst mit" kein Problem => Kinderfreundlich & flexibel. *Kleine* Einschränkung: - Leider direkt an einer beliebten Biker-Strecke - hoffentlich gibt es bald mal "Lärmblitzen" in Deutschland - Kartenzahlung ging nicht - sonst hätte uns möglicherweise doch der Seeteufel oder die Dorade vom Grill gereizt, aber wir hatten nur 50€ Cash mit. Update vom 5.01.26: Diesmal mit genug Cash da, und entsprechend Fisch, Antipasti und Wein probiert. Ich bin kein Gourmet, der Sterne vergeben könnte, aber die "obere Liga" statt Pizza-Liga war auch großartig. Und diesmal sind wir zu Dritt (mit 9-jährigem) trotzdem mit 100€ inkl. Trinkgeld ausgekommen. Zudem: Diesmal (Sonntag, 17 Uhr) war das Restaurant voll und offenbar viele Stammgäste da.

A super friendly host and simply authentic and delicious Italian food! Good quality ingredients, not overloaded with oil, balsamic vinegar, etc. We enjoyed a delicious white wine and had the mixed antipasti platter (vitello toffee, beef and salmon carpaccio, grilled vegetables/marinated peppers and mushrooms), spaghetti "miracoli," and homemade ravioli from the daily specials. We finished with a delicious espresso and a delicate mocha panna cotta. Excellent!

We had a delicious pizza at a good price. They also have high-quality fish, meat, and pasta dishes. Recommended

20/10 Google says they're open... The day before, I sent a message and called. In the end, I spent 20 minutes in the car, and they were simply closed. Very bad!

A nice (smaller) restaurant where reservations might be helpful. We didn't have a reservation but were nevertheless warmly welcomed. The menu offers plenty of choice, and the pasta and pizza we had that evening were freshly made and delicious.

Very friendly and personable service. Metin is the center of attention and everyone likes him. There's always good Italian cuisine, including a changing daily special, prepared by Roberto and his kitchen team. Everything is fresh and served in order, but that does mean you sometimes have to wait.

Terrible Experience – Avoid if You’re a Tourist We had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. We were served a pasta dish that we never ordered — and it was clearly not a miscommunication. It felt deliberate, as if they were trying to upsell us something we didn’t ask for. To make matters worse, the pasta was overcooked and poorly made. When we raised the issue, the waiter was incredibly rude and dismissive. He took the dish back but still had the audacity to charge us for it on the final bill. The overall attitude was unwelcoming, and it was obvious that tourists are not treated with respect here. No apology, no accountability — just cold, unfriendly service that left a bad taste in our mouths. Definitely not recommended, especially if you’re visiting and expect basic courtesy.

Always a pleasure. The changing, seasonal dishes are particularly recommended. The warm welcome and great service create a feel-good atmosphere. The view is wonderful of Nideggen Castle and the Rur. However, you should have cash with you.

Without prior information when making the reservation, only cash payment was accepted. Is card payment advertised online? Unfortunately you couldn't eat there. Maybe it was coincidence that we found a new favorite restaurant.

Het voorgerecht de carpaccio was waterig, de pizza capricciosa smaakte nergens naar, het dessert ijs met verse aarbeien waren stroperige aardbeien uit een pot. Let op een fles water kost hier €7,50. Kortom een waardeloos restaurant. We voelden ons gewoon opgelicht.

Food ok so far. The starter platter was very good, but unfortunately the pasta was no longer aldente and was cooked too soft. The atmosphere is a bit too cold. An Italian station was constantly playing behind the counter, but unfortunately no music, just some word program. It was also way too loud and was very annoying. When we wanted to pay the bill and I wanted to pay it with a check card, I was informed that payment by card had not been possible for some time. There would also be a corresponding notice on the entrance door. When I pointed out to Keller that the restaurant's website offered the option of card payment, he referred to his boss with a smug smile, but he didn't comment on it either. He figured the already faded, handwritten notice on the front door would suffice. This situation was extremely unsatisfactory and a reason for us not to return there again.

We reserved a table there weeks in advance for our daughter's first day of school, which was confirmed twice. When we arrived with all the guests on the reserved day, we found that the restaurant was closed. Two young men were sitting in front of the restaurant When we asked, they told us that the boss had decided to close at lunchtime due to the construction site. Unfortunately, we were not informed of this by phone, even though it had already been closed for lunch for a week and we were on the calendar. The boss couldn't be reached by phone. So now we were there with the hungry guests and our sad child and had to come up with a plan B superior. It's a shame and unprofessional that there was no telephone response before or after.

Wenn Leute regelmäßig 200 km fahren, um hier zu essen, weiß man, dass es meer als gut ist. Matteo ist ein perfekter Gastgeber. Freundlich, engagiert, enthusiastisch und äußerst sachkundig. Die Pizzarollen mit hausgemachtem Dip waren himmlisch und ich werde auf jeden Fall versuchen, diesen Dip nachzumachen. Die kleinen Bruschettas waren eine super nette Aufmerksamkeit und schmeckten köstlich. Das Carpaccio war perfekt. Für ein gutes, authentisches Carpaccio braucht man nicht viel: hochwertiges Fleisch, ein wenig Olivenöl, Parmesan und vielleicht einen Spritzer Zitronensaft. Das ist alles, und Alberto, der Chefkoch versteht das vollkommen. Die Pizza, die mein Mann gewählt hat, „Pizza Lina“ mit Gorgonzola und Pilzen, hat ihm sehr gut geschmeckt. Er lobte vor allem die dünne Kruste und die Frische. Eine wirklich authentische italienische Pizza. Ich wählte das Rumpsteak mit Rucola und Parmesan, Rosmarinkartoffeln und Gemüsebeilage. Wieder ein absoluter Hit. Alles war perfekt zubereitet und hat super geschmeckt. Alles an diesem Restaurant stimmt einfach und man fühlt sich so wohl und willkommen. Nice atmosphere and friendly service. However, the noodles in the pasta dish were swimming in the sauce, the seasoning was too bad and the noodles were unfortunately too soft. At an Italian restaurant you can expect pasta to be al dente. Too bad. In addition, guests should perhaps be told when entering the restaurant that they cannot pay by card and not just at the end.

I had paid for pizzas with my friends and the service was very friendly and funny. The pizza took about 10 minutes and was delicious. We can only recommend it. Unfortunately, card payment is not possible.

Food was okay, but instead of parmesan with the pasta there was simple pizza cheese. Pizza was quite good. Outdoor seating very sunny in the evening. Staff seemed stressed (Saturday). Unfortunately we didn't feel welcome. But maybe we were just unlucky. Only cash payment possible. Food cheap.

Very good food and the price-performance ratio is good. Unfortunately, in the nice weather, it happened several times that passing motorcycles accelerated disproportionately and thus significantly disturbed the ambience. But still come back.

We waited 30 minutes for the card. After another 15 minutes the drinks arrived. 30 minutes later the food arrived which was incomplete. The last pizza came when the other pizzas had already been eaten. If you ask the cellars about the service you will get pat answers. We actually wanted to spend a relaxing evening. The opposite was the case. Once never again!

I've eaten there a few times and everything has always been fine. Last week I had dinner there with my son and unfortunately I didn't feel very comfortable. It started with people rolling their eyes when they ordered and since my son eats his pizza without cheese, they made a corresponding comment. I had the feeling that there was no time for us because the waiter left during the ordering process and I was only able to tell him on the way that we also wanted to order food. There wasn't much going on at that time, I can totally understand that there is time pressure in the industry, but at the next tables you took a lot more time (also for a few jokes). I don't know what we did wrong (we didn't complain or anything like that), but as the visit continued, I had the feeling that we were treated disadvantageously. On top of that, he treated my son twice as a... Harry Potter may have been his way of being funny, but I was just happy when we got out of there. I can say that the food is good. It's good for parents to know that the children's menu advertised on Google doesn't exist, but maybe they didn't give it to us either. Finally all I can say is that we won't be eating there again as I had a really bad feeling.

There are inexpensive and expensive dishes For almost every taste and budget. We can recommend it without hesitation. Our visit was made more expensive by a few more drinks. Practical: the proximity to Nideggen Brück train station.

The waiter was not capable of understanding basic English and did not go through any trouble of trying to understand us and kept insisting on speaking german. He was very rude the rest of the evening ( did not speak to us once ) and even tried scamming us when he gave us not enough change back. Be very careful when visiting this restaurant as a tourist. Food was OK.

Ambience only gets a point deducted because of the noise from the street. Of course the restaurant owner can't help it. Nevertheless, the restaurant is definitely recommended. Even in hot weather, almost only shaded areas!

We ordered food and took it with us. I would have given it back to the restaurant. Hardly any taste, it tasted like food from a can.

When people regularly drive 200km to eat here, you know it's sea as good. Matteo is a perfect host. Friendly, engaging, enthusiastic and extremely knowledgeable. The pizza rolls with homemade dip were heavenly and I will definitely try to recreate this dip. The little bruschettas were a super nice touch and tasted delicious. The carpaccio was perfect. For a good, authentic carpaccio you don't need much: high-quality meat, a little olive oil, parmesan and maybe a squeeze of lemon juice. That's all, and Alberto, the chef, understands that completely. He really liked the pizza my husband chose, “Pizza Lina” with Gorgonzola and mushrooms. He particularly praised the thin crust and the freshness. A truly authentic Italian pizza. I chose the rump steak with rocket and parmesan, rosemary potatoes and a vegetable side dish. Another absolute hit. Everything was perfectly prepared and tasted great. Everything about this restaurant is just right and you feel so comfortable and welcome. Thank you Matteo, Alberto and team. The pizza was very tasty and the ingredients were fresh. As a small starter there was bruschetta and pizza rolls with some kind of garlic cream cheese. Really really good!

Where is the best place to start? A pure disaster! We've been there a few times with the whole family (at least 10 people), it was always very good and the staff was friendly. Today only my husband, our two children (3yrs & 1yrs) and I were there. It started with a discussion because my husband wanted to order a different side dish for his meat dish. We go out to eat very often and this has never been a problem anywhere! Rosemary potatoes are not for everyone, there should be no discussion if the guest would like some spaghetti with them. But we could have overlooked that. Our son (3 years old!!!) accidentally tipped over his glass of Fanta, unfortunately the glass broke and of course the whole Fanta spilled out. We reacted quickly and used all the napkins we had to clean it up, my The man went straight to the staff and asked for Zewa and/or a rag, where they looked very unfriendly. Unfortunately, by the time the gentleman got there, some of the Fanta ended up on the floor. I have never seen such an unfriendly facial expression towards a 3 year old child in my life, as if my child did it on purpose. The waiter went in annoyed with the words “Now I have to get warm water to clean” and didn’t come back. Since we were sitting on the terrace right at the entrance to the restaurant, I could perfectly hear the two gentlemen talking loudly in Italian about my 3!!!years!!! Old child got excited.. one of the two came out again and asked my husband “my friend, which country are you from?” my husband replied that he is German, to which the only answer was “are you sure?” Apparently they were concerned that my husband could understand something, but it was a good thing that I, being half Italian, understood every word. You definitely don't like children, as I could hear perfectly. That was reason number one why we will never enter this store again. But then our food came. Starters were quite good, our son's pizza too, but our pasta was pure mud!!! I had spaghetti with seafood... there were 3 mussels in it and a small shrimp... apart from the fact that the noodles were mush and didn't taste like anything! Was that on purpose so that we wouldn't come anymore? I have no idea, but we would never be back anyway after our child was so despised. So think carefully about whether you want to eat there with your children!

Became aware of it through a recommendation from a nearby campsite! The food was really very good! I had a dish from the daily menu. We had homemade tagliolini with asparagus (menu of the day) and rump steak with champions, pepperoni, crabs, onions, garlic and peppers in cream sauce with rosemary potatoes and vegetables of the day. Perfect! I actually wanted to eat the panna cotta with strawberries, but I couldn't manage it! The service was super attentive! Thumbs up 👍🏻

We were there for lunch today, a good and manageable menu. From the small free starter (Bruchetta) and the delicious pizza rolls to two super delicious pizzas, everything was at the top level and damn tasty 😉Finally an espresso, also very tasty! Unfortunately we cannot recommend it. We were there on May 11th, 2024 with five people. The pasta was warmed up and soft. One pizza was first burnt and then a bit raw. There was no apology, just stupid sayings.

We were guests in the beautiful winter garden on May 4th, 2024 with 9 people and were more than thrilled. Starting with the very friendly and entertaining service, through starters, main courses and dessert, everything was perfect. The dishes are prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients and love, you eat without stress and can enjoy it to the full. The whole sea bream, the veal liver in sage butter, the crispy pizza and homemade ravioli were outstanding. Finally, delicious dessert variations, a poem! The price-performance ratio is perfect, here the guest is king. We would like to come again!
