Unfortunately it's always very loud because it's always full!! Still happy again and again

Overall, the lamb plate tasted good. The salad with a kind of Texas dressing, however, was a little bland. The main course was served about 2 minutes after the salad. The service could have been a little more attentive. Overall, the prices are rather high compared to other Greek restaurants

One of the best Greek restaurants we know. We have been eating there regularly for many years. The restaurant is cozy and tastefully furnished and very well maintained, nice outdoor area for warm days. The staff is always very attentive and friendly, even when it is very busy. Very tasty food with a large selection, good portions and top quality. We always enjoy being there. If you want to spend a nice evening, Metaxa is the right place for you!

Been there again after a long time. The food was really very good. The portions are really more than adequate before and afterwards there is something to drink on the house. The service is very attentive. Personally, that's just my opinion. I think the interior of the restaurant is a bit dark. I liked it better with the light arches on the walls, but that's a matter of taste. We can only recommend it, but everyone should know that you should make a reservation! Personally, I recommend the Cyclops plate

Very nice restaurant with great service. Authentic. Drinks came quickly and so did the side salad. There was a very nice ouzo to welcome us. The main courses came at the same time, so we were able to start together. There are enough parking spaces in the yard and the open winter garden is a great location for eating. Gladly again

We decided at short notice on a Friday evening to follow a recommendation. Called... table reserved. We were greeted very friendly by the entire staff and taken to the reserved table. The restaurant was well filled. The waiters were all very accommodating. Drinks and food have a good price-performance ratio. The fish plate is highly recommended. Grill plate super tender meat. Very tasty tzatziki. What was a bit annoying was the proximity to the neighboring table. Since the lady there was talking very loudly to the whole table, we could hardly have a conversation. And people smoke in the winter garden and when the doors are wide open the stench wafts into the guest room. But this restaurant is still highly recommended.

Herrlich gutes Essen! Vorspeise war super, die Hauptspeisen sind göttlich! Wir haben 3 x hier gegessen umd immer etwas anderes bestellt. Umd jedesmal war das Essen einmalig gut! Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Wenn wir wieder nach Gastrop Rauxel kommen, werden wir immer wieder hier ein feines Nachtessen geniessen 🥰 Danke 😃

The four of us arrived late in the afternoon without a reservation, were greeted nicely and asked where we wanted to sit... With the great weather, we of course went out on the terrace. This can be adjusted to the weather with tarpaulins guided on rails. What has to be said, the view of the entrance does not correspond to the well-kept ambience inside. The meals with grilled main dishes were very tasty and plentiful. You have to like the omelet with feta, tasty but a bit salty. Session everything in the form of white asparagus, salmon and potatoes in an orange sauce. Very tasty, pleasantly surprised by the sauce. The potatoes were ok, but went better. Service, wishes and drinks top. Criticism at the top

I'm happy to give full marks here... we spent a very cozy evening there with our friends... we were greeted in a very friendly manner as soon as we arrived... each of us had a different dish... which tasted great have. ..the portions were mega....there was no problem taking what I didn't have with me...I felt like my thoughts were being read....whenever I had a request, one of the friendly waiters was with me straight away. ...we will definitely come back and I can highly recommend this restaurant. I haven't been there for a long time and now I know I have to come back as soon as possible. Service top...no glass was empty for more than 1 minute, very friendly and always tried to do everything for the guest. But now to the most important thing: A fantastic meal. Metaxa plate with suflaki, gyros, beef steak and lamb....with fries, rice and Metaxa sauce.... I haven't eaten something so delicious in a long time. This at a price-performance ratio that is unbeatable... I'm glad I had the idea to visit you again...

We visited the restaurant with 4 people and were warmly welcomed. The dishes were all different and all tasted very good. The staff was very friendly and attentive. My point of criticism is the fried potatoes. I like these a little crispier. But the fried potatoes were still delicious. So thanks to the whole team for the nice visit.

This is one of those places that you don't need... Starter totally wrong, should have been a bread with tomatoes, rock-hard old bread, not eaten with a knife and fork. Main course pretty bland on the plate. Hot broccoli just pulled through the water and decorated next to the leaf lettuce, tasted better when eaten in the chip shop at the Greek restaurant The crowning glory, however, was the waiter… like in the barracks yard, he slammed our plates on the table in a completely unfriendly manner. Apparently the staff is overloaded, packed, hectic, and some of the food is cold... We definitely won't be coming to eat again

Wir waren gestern Abend da. Ich hatte die Nr. 55 und einen Amarena Becher als Nachtisch. Das Essen war sehr lecker und der Service auch sehr gut. Kann ich nur empfehlen.

Wir waren schon öfter hier, jetzt zur weihnachtlichen Geburtstagsfeier. Es wurde immer schlechter und beim letzten Besuch war es nur noch schrecklich: überfüllt, laut, hektisch und das Essen einfach zu schnell und lieblos aus der Küche geknallt: Pommes viel zu hell, Leber halb roh, Seniorenteller halb leer und ohne Deko - wir hatten das Gefühl von Massenabfertigung in einer Großraum-Mensa - nach Getränken wurde auch nicht gefragt. Wir werden hier nicht mehr hin gehen.

Essen, Ambiente sowie Personal nach wie vor Top, aber ich habe das Gefühl als würden die Preise vierteljährlich steigen. Sollte die MwSt Erhöhung ab 1. 1. Umgesetzt werden dann gehen wir nicht mehr hin.

Ich gehe seit Jahren immer wieder mal hier hin. Das Essen ist immer super, top Qualität und der Service immer zuvorkommend und freundlich. Ich hoffe das dieses Lokal noch viele Jahre existiert. Das beste Griechische Restaurant das ich kenne.

Metaxa enttäuscht nie! immer freundlich und immer lecker. wir waren schon unzählige Male hier und holen uns auch gerne mal das essen ab! einfach zu empfehlen!
