Everything is perfect - I just don't think it's justified to increase the prices by almost 20%. We go there less often now. Too bad……

Pleasant to sit and eat delicious food

Totally recommended! The food was delicious. We ordered the lunch menu which included soup, salad bar, main course and dessert. The main course was very large and all the dishes were delicious. The price-quality ratio was excellent and the service was also very good.

As you know it from before when you still went to the “Yugoslavs”. Lots of meat, large portions, very good value for money. The menu is actually too big, but there is something for everyone as long as you like meat. The meats from the grill plate were perfectly grilled, for example. Turkey well done but juicy, steak medium, etc. The lunch menu in particular is unbeatable. You should definitely make a reservation on the weekend.

Price performance is right, quantity is also good, only I know that rasnici is made with pork loin and not pork neck, unfortunately Cevapcici is unseasoned

Whenever we are in Duisburg, we go here for lunch. This time the lunch menu was new. There was a lot of choice with starter soup and small dessert. You can take salad from the buffet. The prices on the lunch menu are absolutely ok. The food tastes delicious and the portions are not too small. The waiters are often very reserved. That's why sometimes it doesn't come across as very friendly.

Great atmosphere and great value for money

In short, fantastic. A lot has been tried and tested, and you simply can't go wrong.

Came here in Sunday, when everything else was closed. We were greeted with a smile, fast service and complimentary salad from the buffet. Food was tasty. Good portion size and great price - quantity ratio. I absolutely loved my pasta with Gorgonzola sauce and bbq chicken. Would come again for sure

Never experienced such rude service. The older gentleman probably doesn't feel like doing his work anymore. Complains that with 6 people we order 3x grill plates for 2 people because it's so much. In hindsight he was right but that can be communicated better. I was also jostled at the table because I didn't turn to the side while serving. I was chatting and didn't notice him. When paying, the waiter rolled his eyes because we were separated and one of us wanted to pay with a card. The food was very filling and tasted okay. Unfortunately, the lettuce at the buffet was brown in some places and I had part of the stalk. Old-fashioned atmosphere. Dozens of flies disturbed the meal because the restaurant had no air conditioning and therefore had the doors and windows open.

Went to this 'Jugo' again for lunch... Very tasty and cheap... First a soup, then the main course with a salad from the buffet and a small dessert....

Today, August 25th, 2024, we were at the Mediterran again after a long time, and the first thing we noticed was the really unfriendly staff (especially the older gentleman) We ordered the Duisburg plate twice, which we always enjoyed eating here. Unfortunately it wasn't as good as usual, the fried potatoes were partly tarnished and had no taste, the fillet was very thin and therefore dry. When we cleared it we weren't even asked if we liked it. We haven't experienced anything like this in all these years. You can have a bad day, but nothing worked here today

Wir hatten uns dieses Restaurant ausgesucht, weil wir hier sehr schön im Freien sitzen konnten. Die Speisekarte ist riesig, deutsche, kroatische und internationale Küche. Ich hatte Pola Pola mit Pommes, Reis, Ajvar. Alles sehr lecker und sehr reichhaltig. Zuvor durfte ich mich selbst am Salatbuffet bedienen. Auch hier war die Auswahl groß und alles lecker. Service war sehr gut. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis beim Essen fanden wir gut, die Getränke fanden wir etwas zu teuer. Alles in allem würde ich dieses Restaurant jeder Zeit wieder sehr gerne besuchen.

I have been a loyal customer for many years. Unfortunately, I'm always disappointed with the drinks. The cola tastes old, like it's been open for two days. It's frustrating to see that the rest of the cola isn't thrown away. On the other hand, everything else tastes very good.

Today we had dinner at the Mediteran with 11 people. The team and the waiter were friendly, attentive and quick. I was personally surprised by the very good price/performance ratio. For example, we were very surprised at how full the Balkan grill plate was for two people for €39.90. I haven't seen anything like that recently. It was very tasty and we felt very comfortable with two small children and the corresponding volume. My personal recommendation for meat lovers is the Balkan grill plate for two people, as well as the classic grill plate.

The food was good, the service staff is friendly but unfortunately very inattentive. If you as a guest still have a wish, you have to be very patient, even if the number of guests is more than manageable. Not to say that the restaurant is almost empty! not to say not

I was a guest here for the first time today thanks to a friend. I ordered a Wiener-style schnitzel from lunch. There was also a starter soup and salad that I could even put together myself. The quality of the food and the service were excellent. The waiter friendly and attentive 👍 I will come more often and definitely recommend the house. Ps. The toilets were also clean despite the many guests.

Unfortunately a bit disappointed. I ordered green noodles with mushroom cream sauce. I got white noodles with cooked ham cream sauce plus some mushroom slices. It should be a vegetarian dish. This change was not communicated and I was not asked about it. Very unfortunate.

Clear recommendation. I had lunch there alone today and was very satisfied. I had the cordon bleu. I was able to choose the side dish and the salad was available from the buffet. There was even a very tasty soup and a digestive schnapps afterwards for free...not to forget the incredibly low price. The menu was very diverse and I would like to come back if I have the opportunity.

Definitely recommended, good selection and reasonable quality. Attentive staff and reasonable prices. Also seasonal offers, you can sit inside and outside.

The two of us had dinner early in the evening during the week; the restaurant was accordingly empty. The service staff were very attentive and friendly. The food was delicious and the portion size was almost generous. The atmosphere is very cozy. All in all, I can highly recommend the Mediteran and will definitely go there again if I ever find myself in Duisburg again.

A nice restaurant with very tasty meat specialties, nice service and generous portions for the price. There were two of us on a Thursday evening and we got a table straight away. Since the rooms are a bit smaller, it can quickly get loud if there are a lot of people present.

Average Balkan cuisine with large portions and a salad buffet. The store was packed. Accordingly, the service took a very long time and was unfortunately not that friendly.

This is not just a restaurant where you can eat. In this place you can really enjoy super delicious dishes!!! The cook should be given a gold medal 🏅. I've been here several times already and every time the food is super delicious. Of course I will come here again. The staff is welcoming and friendly, the room is also quite cozy. I give it five stars!

Visually very nice, but it was absolutely not a successful evening. Drinks came rather slowly, the menu was only available upon request and it was a good hour before we had our food with 8 people. The service seemed rather unfriendly and there was no splendor. Food: Breaded mushrooms were 5 pieces for 9.50 and the remoulade came straight out of the tube (I'm guessing from Bruckmanm in terms of taste). The rump steak was probably more of a rump steak, the cheese was probably weighed in with the 300 gram funny Bosniak, while I couldn't find the ham and the sauce for the Jägerschnitzel was pretty clearly a finished product. The mushrooms were fresh, but the sauce had the typical aftertaste. Given the prices quoted, I definitely expect more.

The food was tasty and well portioned. Nothing really big to complain about, but still slight detractions in terms of service. So, you can go there without being very disappointed and then you'll be full and satisfied afterwards... ;-)

It was OK, but I wasn't totally thrilled. But it was due to the friendly but forgetful waiter. An order was forgotten several times or arrived late. But the food was good and so was the salad bar. Conclusion, you can go. If you're lucky, the waiter has a good day, or not... :-)

We had a delicious meal here with our family on the recommendation of the Airbnb owner of our overnight stay. Was a great tip. Very tasty meal. The portions were large, especially for the money. And really good meat.

The ambience, service, drinks and food were, as we are used to, delicious and recommended. No star cuisine, but very good Balkan restaurant. I like going there with my wife. Here you get what you expect from a good Balkan restaurant. Recommended!

The restaurant offers a pleasant atmosphere and welcoming ambience. The starter was light and refreshing, just the thing to prepare the palate for the main course. The main course was rich and extremely tasty, a real treat for the palate. The wine was delicious and went well with the food. The service took some time, but the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff made up for it. We will definitely be happy to come back to enjoy more culinary delights.

The food was tasty and plenty. The price was reasonable. Only the dessert (vanilla ice cream with hot cherries and cream) tasted much better elsewhere. Here everything was a "soup", the cherries were no longer hot and there were few. But a lot of spray cream from a can... Not my taste.

Essen und Service war top. Allerdings sollten wir uns erst in einen sehr engen Raum setzen wo man kaum Platz zum atmen hatte. Auf Nachfrage haben wir dann einen anderen Tisch bekommen.

Heerlijk eten en ontzettend veel keuze

Vor den Weihnachtstagen waren wir da öfters essen, war auch immer lecker. Was wir am 1. Weihnachtstag erlebt haben, geht gar nicht. Eine riesen Schlage vor der Haustüre, keine Organisation mit den Tisch da wir um 13:30 bestellt haben. Sollen wir ein Tisch bekommen, wo man im Durchzug sitzt und die ganzen Menschenmenge hinter uns standen . Wie wir mit bekommen haben, hatten viele Gäste Probleme mit ihren Tischen. Daraufhin sind wir gegen, zum Glück haben wir woanders noch ein Tisch bekommen. Die Gier vom Weihnachtensgeschäft war zu groß. Die sehen uns nicht mehr

Am liebsten würde ich gar keinen Stern geben unfreundlichen geht's nicht mehr total überfordert mit allem. Tisch 3 Monate vorher bestellt erst mal 20 min gewartet dann Tisch mitten im Durchgang einfach nur Katastrophe der Laden. Nie wieder absolut nicht zu empfehlen !!!!!

Wir waren heute, am 1. Weihnachtstag dort essen. Haben erst vor ein paar Tagen reserviert und noch einen Tisch bekommen. Es war, wie immer, zu unserer vollsten Zufriedenheit.

Hatte gerade für den 2ten Weihnachtstag einen Tisch bestellt. Wurde erstmal abgewiesen, da ich Online die Reservierung vorgenommen hatte, es ging nur telefonisch. Warum bietet man den Service überhaupt an? 3 Kellner, der Laden rappel voll. Stress hoch, ok, trotzdem sehr unhöflich. 25 Minuten auf die Getränke gewartet. Essens Bestellung erst auf Nachfrage angenommen. Die Portionen deutlich kleiner wie üblich und auch nicht so gut. Beim Trinkgeld nichtmal ein Dankeschön. Werde an Feiertagen das Lokal nicht mehr aufsuchen. Hoffe, das nächstemal ist es wieder besser. Für den Besitzer, an Feiertagen mehr Personal. Das war heute ein Witz. Man freut sich auf schöne Momente und dann sowas.

Das Essen war sehr gut. Das Schnitzel zart. Das Salat Buffet ließ zu wünschen übrig. Der Service war in Ordnung. Kurz, wir hatten einen schönen Abend.

Essen in der Vergangenheit immer gut. Service äußerst dürftig. Mit den Worten "Gefällt Ihnen meine Dekor nicht?" reagierte der Kellner beim letzten Besuch darauf, dass wir aus Platzgründen die Mini-Blumenvase auf den Nachbartisch eines ansonsten leeren Restaurants gestellt hatten und stellte sie wieder auf unseren Tisch zurück. Service Wüste Deutschland lässt grüßen. Wir waren bisher zufrieden, aber danach verließen wir das Restaurant ohne eine Bestellung aufzugeben. Der Kellner war sehr unfreundlich!!! Nie wieder 👎🏻

Gutes Restaurant, schmackhaftes Essen und freundliche Bedienung.

Es war für mich sehr "überraschend " das man in einem Speiselokal eine Junge Familie mit 10 kleinen Hunden ( die bei dieser Witterung ihren eigenen Geruch bilden ) ohne " Rücksicht " auf die anderen Gäste Zutritt gewährt

Es war sehr voll, aber trotzdem super toller und schneller Service. Super lecker und alles top heiss. Gerne wieder, nur auf jeden Fall vorher Tisch reservieren.

Sehr leckerer Mittagstisch mit einem guten Angebot und freundlicher Bedienung. Anstelle eines 08/15 Salats kann man sich am Salatbuffet selbst alles zusammenstellen.
